Can I request something with Alcryst or Pandreo? Maybe with their s/o being burnt out from working too hard?

Alcryst: Of course he’s horrified when he learns you’re overwhelmed by work. He should’ve been helping this whole time!

Then he wouldn’t find you nearly unconscious at your desk, overrun by paperwork stacked to the ceiling!

Alcryst was at your side instantly, shaking your shoulder in hopes that you were napping and not dead from the paperwork.

“Alear? H-hey, Alear! Are you okay?” He asked tentatively, earning a grunt and a confused noise when you stretched, forcing your chin up.

“Urgh…” You rubbed at your eyes, feeling confused and dazed at your sudden waking. “What time is it?”

“It’s the middle of the day! I was coming to ask you to have lunch with me and Diamant, but you were asleep! A-are you feeling okay? Are you sick, or hurt??”

“No, neither. I just…have a lot to do.” You sighed, biting back a yawn. “I guess I fell asleep trying to get it all done.”

"Oh dear…the work load’s been so heavy lately, I should’ve realized that so much would be foisted on you like this. I would’ve tried to space it out more, for you.”

He looked so apologetic, you couldn’t help but feel guilty.

“It’s not your fault, Alcryst- it’s a kingdom. Of course there’s a lot of work to do. I don’t hold that against you, or anyone.”

“But still! The Divine Dragon working herself to death is bad for all of us- let me help with all this mess you're dealing with!”

“You could start by taking me to lunch. I’m sure Diamant will be happy to spend it with us.” You suggested, rising from your seat and looping your arm with his.

Alcryst’s worried frown remained, earning a kiss in an attempt to wipe it away. It was swiftly replaced with a flustered, open mouth.

"A-Alear!! What if someone walks in??”

“Then they'll know that the Divine Dragon loves her husband.” You giggled, “Let’s go eat.”

The afternoon passed without any other incidents. But by the end of the day, you were dragging your feet to bed.

Alcryst watched helplessly as you instantly fell asleep the moment you crawled into bed. It did, however, give him the opportunity to put together his strategy the next morning.

You woke up to an empty bed, but you felt incredibly well rested. It was bizarre; you couldn't remember the last time you’d felt so peaceful and content. A good night’s sleep was so valuable.

You stretched and yawned, finding the sunlight filtering into the bedroom rather bright.

Which was odd…because you typically woke up before the sun was even-

“Oh no!!” You gasped, adrenaline spiking your system, “I’m late for-”

“Nothing.” Alcryst’s voice caught you first; then came the familiar, gentle fingers on your shoulders. “You were getting some much needed rest.”

“What time is it?” The question was breathy, feeling Alcryst’s fingers knead into your shoulders. It did feel heavenly.

“If you must know, it’s a little bit past 10:00 A.M. But you don’t need to worry about that, since you’re taking the day off, today.”

“I am?”

“Yes, you are. Here, lie back down.” Alcryst guided you to lie down on your stomach, and carefully braced himself over you, knees on either side. His hands slid from your shoulders to your back, laughing softly when you hummed in delight. “The only things on your schedule today have been set by me.”

“And what does that look like?”

“First, you’ll be receiving a full massage from your husband, head to toe,” He began, “And then we’ll be heading to the bath, which is being prepared as we speak. Afterwards, I thought you might like to have a nice trip into town, just the two of us. And after that, we can do whatever you like- but we’ll have to be home in time for dinner, since that’s been specially prepared, too.”

“I-is it our anniversary? Did I forget it, or something? Why all the fuss?” You asked, worried that you’d made a grave mistake.

“You’ve just been so busy lately, and it’s gotten to the point that you’re so stressed out all the time. I wanted to give you a break, for a change. I-it’s only for today, though. I wish I could’ve gotten you a little more time off, but that’s easier said than done given the state of things.”

“Alcryst, that’s…that’s so sweet.” You turned over onto your back, beaming up at your husband. “You really planned all that for me?”

“Of course. I hate seeing you so worn down, so…I wanted to do everything I could for you.” The sweet prince confessed, his face alight with a rosy blush.

You leaned up, wrapping your arms around him and kissing him senseless. His arms stuttered around you, nearly giving out from under him when you ambushed him.

“I love you so much, Alcryst. Thank you for looking out for me. I’ll enjoy today to the absolute fullest, okay?”

“Okay.” He grinned, welcoming another kiss, and another. “I love you, too!”

The two of you were quite a pair that day. You could hardly keep your hands off each other, totally rejuvenated by his pampering. The next day you returned to work more motivated than ever, with Alcryst promising to steal you away for another day off the second you felt worn down, again.

You would be sure to take full advantage of that offer.

Pandreo: In spite of his cheerful and raucous persona, Pandreo is an incredibly devout priest. He holds to his duties faithfully, and is always on top of his work, no matter how much of it threatents to topple him over.

It’s precisely because of his secret dedication that he can recognize the symptoms of overwork very easily.

He started to suspect you were starting to feel the pressure when you came to bed nearly two hours late for a week. Then you were replacing your tea with coffee in the mornings and evenings, then increasing the amount.

But the real problem was discovered when he found your schedule that was rarely away from your person. He found it in your tunic pocket one morning, before you had a chance to change out of your nightclothes.

The hours you set for yourself, and the amount of content that you had stuffed into each block of time was stunning.

You were barreling straight towards a severe burnout.

“Alear, do you have a second?” He called to you, earning a non-committal “Yes,” followed by his wife emerging from the washroom while tying back your hair.

“What do you need, Pan? Is something the matter?”

“I happened upon your schedule for the day,” He held up the paper, “I just wanted to make sure you weren’t actually going to try and do all of this. It’s way too much!”

“It’s not that bad! Besides, is it really that crazy to have a busy schedule now that we’re in the recovery phase of the war?” You asked earnestly, “I’m the Divine Dragon- I don’t think I’d be doing a good job if I wasn’t working as hard as possible, as much as I could!”

“Your work ethic is admirable as always, but you’ve been stretched thin for a little while, babe. I don’t want to see you crash and burn because you’re taking on too much.”

“I promise I’m okay. I’m gonna have a crazy schedule anyways, so I might as well embrace the stress, right?”

“No, definitely not. Wrong answer.” He held the paper away when you reached for it, earning an annoyed frown.

“Come on, don’t be childish! I already confirmed my plans for today, so there’s no point in trying to stop me now!”

“All right, fine- then at least promise me that you’ll take a day off tomorrow, so we can figure out a more reasonable schedule for you going forward. You and I both know that this volume of work you’re putting on yourself won’t be sustainable!”

“I mean, sure, but…it’s just until things calm down, you know? Trying to restore multiple countries and kingdoms at the same time is a real challenge. It requires a lot of hard work.”

“That we both know you’re more than willing to put in, as am I. But I won’t stand idly by and watch you fizzle into a little pile of dragon ash because you pushed too hard.”

“I appreciate you looking out for me.” You smiled at him, holding out your hand. “I admit, I’ve been pushing really hard lately, and you’re right that I need to slow down. I just want to get as much done as I can for everyone, you know? I hate that there’s still so much we need to do.”

“It’s not an easy process,” He agreed, taking your hands into his. He pulled your arms around his waist, holding you close. “But no matter what, we’re going to make sure the halidom recovers and everyone is happy and healthy. If anyone can do it, it’s you, Alear.”

You nuzzled into his chest, enjoying the loving touch of your husband. It had been a while since you were able to just enjoy his presence like this, even if it was only for a few moments.

Pandreo stroked your hair, kissing the top of your head with a happy hum.

“Let’s take a day off together, okay? There’s a beautiful resort in Solm that Prince Fogado frequents, and I think it’d be a great place for you to unwind.”

“I…I guess it wouldn’t be a bad idea, I just don’t like the idea of going to a resort when things are-”

"My love, you’ve dedicated your life to serving and protecting your people from the second you returned. I think you’ve earned at least one day to relax and recuperate.” He reminded you, all but chiding you into taking care of yourself for once.

You huffed, but agreed that he was onto something.

“All right, fine…but just tomorrow, okay? I worry if we stay any longer than a day, you’ll try and trap me into an actual vacation. And I have too many meetings to take care of that you’re not allowed to derail!”

“Just one day, I promise!” He laughed, squeezing you close. Pandreo was glad to help you dress and prepare for your last crazy day.

And being a devout, faithful and extremely devoted husband, he made sure you had a brand new schedule all laid out before you’d even left the Somniel to enjoy the resort that morning.

He kept you busy, but within reason, so that you might be able to spend a little more time with yourself or your husband, depending on what you needed.

After seeing how hard he was working just to keep you sane, you made sure to prioritize plenty of time with your boisterous, sweet priest.

A welcome result of his efforts, for sure.

20. Are there any ships that you like, whether popular or rarepair?

Well it’s no secret my love of religionshipping (alear x pandreo) definitely my favorite buuuut I like jestershipping (diamant x amber) quite a bit they’re just big sillies and it’s just nice for diamant I think. He’s endeared to people who make him laugh and amber is so naturally goofy. Plus their relationship is very cute Special mention to membershipshipping(hortensia x clanne) they’re cute & i like them :)

30. Any fun anecdotes you want to share from your playthrough?

Uhhmm this one time I left amber behind on map to stall enemies and I was so sad to do so but then he killed everything and gained like 5 levels (he was a wolf knight). and that moment in chapter 24 where I whiffed it not realizing the turrets whatever don’t stop the avalanche from pushing you back 😭 so then it was just alear & pandreo against the world but panette was close enough to at least draw some enemies

01.) zelkov — to be honest, i initially expected a goofy dynamic from them until i reached their a support, and then i fell down the angst rabbit hole… louis patiently waiting for zelkov’s walls to fall with no complaint hurts a little bit, but in a good way. zelkov deserves to be taken care of and find someone he can take care of in return.

02.) timerra — they don’t have supports together, but i feel like louis would be absolutely enchanted with how free-spirited and stunning timerra is. even if she’s trash at singing, he could listen to her all day. she’s, like… the worst siren ever, but she makes up for it with her strength, charm, and literally everything else. timerra might think he’s a little stuffy, but in a cute way. idk, IDK, i just think they’d work really well together.

03.) ivy — literally he made it his GOAL, his MISSION, to make ivy smile, and then she DID, and it was because of HIM. he made her LAUGH. screaming, crying, possibly throwing up, they’re perfect.

04.) amber — maybe i’m stupid, but i thought they had supports. it’s the mandela effect in action, or maybe i’ve just genuinely enjoyed my rp interactions because they felt a little natural to what in-game conversations would be like—to me, anyway. but yes, i find them very sweet and they’d fit the friends-to-lovers trope easily.

05.) alear — i mean, he bragged and gushed about alear to his brothers back home so much that they wanted to meet alear to see who louis was so infatuated with! and fun fact: the english voice actors for male alear and louis are married irl!

01.) tharja — it might be cliché, but it works so well, and the rivals-to-lovers dynamic is always a fun one. also, they’re both fucking toxic. tharja obsessed over her love interests and henry has complex abandonment issues, and mutually obsessing over each other is hot anyway.

02.) gaius — they’re like the couple who can never sit still and are always going on adventures. the life of the party. the idiots who do dangerous dares for fun and then go kiss each other’s booboos in private while making fun of each other. stupid.

03.) cherche — she took charge and forced him to open up properly, and their entire support chain’s cute. he takes care of her, loves her wyvern, and ultimately seems like one of the best husband options for cherche. that, and my gerome’s default father is henry, so… d=(´▽｀)=b
