Undertale Sans - He does the dramatic slow turn towards Papyrus, completely in shock. You're dating someone and you don't even tell your big brother? Oh shame on you. Shame on your cow. You're getting a hundred years of teasing as a punishment. Papyrus refuses to meet his eyes. He KNOWS what will happen the second he will.

Undertale Papyrus - Today is Papyrus' day. Well, every day is Papyrus day but this particular day is the day of his absolute triumph over the tyranny of Sans' terrible jokes and puns as the universe had finally given him the power to retaliate by making Sans blush to hell with a single stare. He is going to abuse that power and flush Sans for weeks, not leaving him one second of peace anymore. Papyrus knows and he wants Sans to know he knows by any means possible.

Underswap Sans - He's in shock, he thinks. He suspected his brother was in love because Honey was not exactly hiding it, but this? This is a thing no big brother wants to know. Honey is devastated and won't stop apologizing but Blue is frozen. He thinks he hasn't blinked in the last hour, just staring at his brother in disbelief. What.

Underswap Papyrus - He's not that shocked actually. Blue is a charmer and he had a few partners already, some weirder than others. He just assumes it's another weird one lol. No big deal. He still tells his brother he will make sure he doesn't lose his underwear again by writing his name on them just to see Blue brutally flush. Little revenge, you know.

Underfell Sans - Red stares in disbelief, as his brother smooches his human. That's absolutely disgusting. He can't stop staring at the bag with the underwear. Disgusting, really. He has to snap his attention back at his brother as he starts to chuckle. Red gives him a dark stare. "WHAT IS IT BROTHER? JEALOUS MY BIG BONE IS MORE EFFICIENT THAN YOURS? DON'T BE, YOU'LL BE AS TALENTED AS I AM. ... EVENTUALLY." Red gasps, offended. Now he's not disgusted, he's mad!

Underfell Papyrus - He opens the door and screams "FINALLY MY BROTHER IS NOT A VIRGIN ANYMORE" before Red jumps on his back and starts to beat him up to make him shut up. Edge can't stop laughing hysterically at his misery, not feeling remorse for even one second. That's revenge for his endless teasing the first time he dated someone.

Horrortale Sans - .... He closes his eyes and begs his brain to forget what he just witnessed. Ironically, that's one of the few things he can't unsee. Like, never. Every time he sees his brother, he sees his underwear. This is a nightmare. Why does the universe hate him so much? Willow is wondering why his brother is looking at him in complete silence like a rabbit stuck in the lights of a car. It's going to happen a lot in the next few days.

Horrortale Papyrus - He says nothing when it happens, but is quick to escape the house. He runs to Toriel's house and tells her everything lol. He needs someone to fangirl with and Toriel has always been good for that. When Oak and his human get out of the house, he can only stare, confused, as Willow and Toriel are more or less hiding behind the bushes despite being ridiculously tall, spying on him.

Swapfell Sans - He rolls his eyes at Rus, annoyed. It's not the first time it has happened and it certainly won't be the last. He has pity for this new human who will have their heart broken eventually like the twenty or so before.

Swapfell Papyrus - Rus chokes on what he was drinking, then slowly turns to his brother, who is bright purple. Nox is very secretive about his relationships and he for sure didn't expect that to occur. Rus is never letting him hear the end of this after that accident. Nox knows his peace is over forever.

Fellswap Gold Sans - He lost his inferior jaw, quite literally. Coffee is embarrassed, but actually not that shy anymore. WHAT?! What the hell happened? He has the best spying tools on the continent and he didn't see his brother was in a relationship. How blind he is? He's questioning all his skills right now. Also what the hell, his brother is in a relationship! That's terrible!

Fellswap Gold Papyrus - Coffee says nothing, trying to not let the thoughts win. But they won anyway and he suddenly screams "wait, does that mean you didn't wear underwear when you got home? how did you not notice????" before blushing furiously when Wine looks his way and teleporting out of panic into his room to hide in his wardrobe in shame lol.

HORRORTALE

The Universe

The famine is actually something that has happened before, way in the past when monsters were first trapped in the Underground. A lot of the knowledge of how it was overcome was lost with Asgore and Toriel however, and a lot of the older monsters were either too young to remember or were the first to fall down when it resurfaced again.

The famine is actually caused by an overabundance of magic. When the monsters were first sent into the underground they brought all of their magic with them, it soaked into the ground, rocks and water. The new density of magic caused any crops to become 'overripe'. The Core failing did the same thing, sending a new intense wave of magic through the Underground. If they had gotten the Core up and running the way it used to, it would regulate magic once more.

The only reasons Reuben's magic was able to restart the Core briefly was because it has the same magical signature as Gaster, it has nothing to do with power level or anything like that. When Gaster fell into the Core his magic became interwoven in its mechanisms, a significant boost of a similar magic (either from Reuben or Dagwood) would have been enough to restart it.

In my headcanon, Toriel was also defeated by Frisk. This is because I believe this 'run' was someone's first and only, someone who gave up trying to talk it out, someone who didn't bother to go back and get the 'best possible ending'.

Not that many humans have actually fallen down during the second great famine, at least not enough to affect anyone who has eaten them. Most of the changes that have happened to monsters are because of the extra magic, it changed them to help them survive tougher conditions. For example, making them taller/bigger, sharper teeth, improved vision etc. In some cases, this has affected their mental state as well.

Both Reuben and Dagwood's teeth and size are a result of the extra magic that the Underground got flooded with. Most monsters have been affected physically in some way by it. Their bodies changed to be able to handle that amount of magic. There was some emotional struggle since monster souls are so in tune with magic, so it was harder for them to keep their emotions and magic in check. But over time it has become easier as they adjust to their new reality.

They both know sign language, as Reuben sometimes finds it hard to speak verbally.

Horrortale Sans

Nickname: Reuben

Height: 6'4

Magic: Pinkish Red

Style: He likes dressing in cosy winter gear. Big jackets, jumpers, big grippy boots, etc. He almost always wears his matching yellow gloves and scarf, although sometimes he'll swap it out for something else Dagwood has made for him.

Other facts and info:

Reuben can cook, but he's not as good as his brother.

He loves spicy food.

Reuben has four pet chickens that he loves very much. Their names are Spoon, Knife, Fork and Ms Ice-cream Apple Pie.

Reuben likes to take care of the groceries and any other short errands around town. He'll often take one of his chickens (usually Spoon) with him if he has the opportunity.

Reuben loves to savour his kisses, much preferring soft lingering kisses and being closer to you. He likes if you take the lead as he's perfectly happy to get lost in it.

He 'doesn't dance'.

Reuben would like to work with animals, perhaps in some sort of petting farm or animal daycare.

His favourite colour is yellow.

Horrortale Papyrus

Nickname: Dagwood

Height: 7'5

Magic: Pale Green

Style: He likes light coloured clothing and he likes to look smart. He often wears button-ups, dress shoes and long coats. He's never seen without a pair of gloves, as his bones are heavily scarred and he prefers not to look at them.

Other facts and info:

Dagwood is a very skilled cook. He made it a priority to properly learn once they made it to the surface, taking advantage of the wider variety of foods available compared to underground.

He cooks mostly savoury things but he loves sweets. He's still not the best at making them though since he likes to make sure everyone eats healthy first.

Likes spicy food.

Dagwood is very outspoken, partially stemming from his brother's selective mutism. He's not afraid to speak up for others who need it.

He's very protective of those weaker than him, and keeps up a consistent workout routine to make sure he's always in fighting shape (the boost of magic from the core exploding in their au makes this very easy for him).

He likes to knit in his spare time too, although it's not something that he openly shares. The scarf and gloves that Reuben wears are a past birthday gift from him.

He was the main one that monsters in Snowdin went to if they needed help and that need to take responsibility never went away. He would melt if someone went out of their way to take care of him.

Because of the shape of his teeth, Dagwood's kisses are usually very gentle and precise. He'll usually take the lead and hold your face to direct you. Both because he likes the act of control and because he doesn't want you to accidentally get poked.

He really loves kids. If his partner also wanted kids he'd probably want at least two so that they'd always have a friend/someone to rely on. He'd also be open to adopting/fostering older kids who need a home.

About his relationship with Undyne. There were a lot of tense feelings at the start of the famine, a lot of magic going haywire, so their relationship was very rough for a while after his brother got hurt*. It's been a few years now and they've worked on and rebuilt their relationship as they've worked together to help the remaining monsters.

*It happened during an argument where her magic got out of control. She meant to summon one spear as a show of power but accidentally ended up summoning multiple.

He loves any kind of dancing with a partner.

Dagwood would love to be a teacher of some sort. Probably somewhere around the preteen level.

His favourite colours are pastels, but specifically blue.

Hi, I was hoping to request a scenario with undertale bros, underfell, underswap, and horrortale. (Ignore horrortalenif itsnalready to much) and in this, reader is blind. People have the ability to heal blindness now since monsters got to the overworld because of the healing magic, but there's that 1% of people who just can't be healed. I would love to see how they would act when first meeting them and how they eventually grow to see them as best friend or lover. You can depend d if it's best friend or lover I'm fine with ether!

UNDERTALE

They're both so considerate of you. They want you to have absolutely no problems while walking around anywhere. (Papyrus is your own assigned shield )

They're both very surprised when they found out that you're one of a kind with this 'defect'.

Papyrus will immediately want to be your friend! He will try so hard to gain your friendship.

Sans on the other hand will kinda avoid you. Unless you need help with something. He WILL help you. No matter if you're friends or not. He just has this respect towards you.

Who knows. Maybe- they'll want to become more than friends 😉 (Depending on your relationship with them) (this goes for all the following AU's!!)

UNDERSWAP

Sans feels this need to help you out a lot of times. Which makes you in turn feel a little "pathetic".. but you know he means well!

Papyrus will be around you quite a lot, because he wants to help you out whenever. (Similar to Classic, just without avoiding you)

They both just help you out. Though Papyrus does so in secret, while Sans...not as much.

Since Sans keeps in contact with Error, he introduces him to you! You and Error immediately click together, Error's short sight and your blindness is the core reason for your friendship. (Even though they're not really the same thing)

Sans is delighted that you two get along so well! But after a few interactions...he starts to feel jealous. (Lmao, you started this though 💀)

Papyrus doesn't want you to have any sort of connection with Error. He wants you to stop interacting with him immediately. It's worse enough that Sans keeps in contact with Error. (Let the besties be! 🙄)

UNDERFELL

Lmao, they don't give a shit about your defect. They'll still treat you as if you never even HAD any blindness. (That's so sweet though, wtf?)

Sans will probably make lots of jokes about blind people. (They're pretty much dark jokes)

Papyrus on the other hand will sometimes forget that you're blind, and will "accidentally" slip up. (Many times)

Papyrus and Sans will accompany you a lot though. You'll be squished between them a lot. (What dream-)

They act like such brutes, but once they're alone with you, they'll turn into soft puddles. (Lmao. Imagine that.)

HORRORTALE:

Horror actually likes the fact you can't see him.. he thinks like that because he knows you'll probably be very terrified of him if you would've seen him in person. (Poor baby-)

Papyrus is kinda oblivious to your blindness, until Sans has to point it out to him.

They're both very much- worried about your safety.

Look, they don't doubt your abilities, it's just that you being blind makes you an easy target. The solution? SKELE-BROTHERS PROTECTION SQUAD!! (Papyrus came up with the name 💀)

They're very violent towards the people that cross ways with you. I swear- they don't hesitate to kill people for you.

Papyrus kinda turned you into a cannibal accidentally- he fed you his famous spaghetti 💀

But you know, you didn't know the contents of the meal, and was enjoying it too much. And you know... The more you had it the more you became addicted to it. (I mean, it's Horrortale. What did you expect?)

You knew that you were eating human meat at some point, since Papyrus and Sans kept dropping hints. (Aka. Making it obvious) but you were too far into eating it, this being the 10th time Papyrus served you Spaghetti. What's the use in stopping now?

UWU Infection Never add a U to UW. This is a post barrier timeline where a UwU virus spreads terrorizing Ebott's Town. Frisk, as the monster's ambassador, will have a lot of work to do to ensure everyone's safety from the cute virus.

REDress Previously known as the "Amalgamate" timeline, now it was completely rewritten. The families of the amalgamates took revenge on Sans and Alphys, injecting them too with Determination, melting them into amalgams as well...

War Rewind Flowey and Sans mess with the resets, mistakenly send themselves back to the time of the war between humans and monsters. Flowey dies, but Sans, adopting baby Chara to save them from their fate, allows Asriel to survive in the future and become king. Now all humans who fall underground will be treated as friends. This timeline was fairly inspired by Timetale! And also by my chats with @ask-dcf :3

Hopeless Timeline Flowey grows bored, and decides to torture Sans with Save Files and Resets to see how far that would go.

Underground's Insanity Previously known as the "Hopeless Queen Alphys Timeline" (the name was too long). The genocide version of the Hopeless Timeline. It begins as a Queen Alphys neutral ending, to then take a Horrortale-like turn, with some angsty Salphys who has to face Frisk, the strongest hunter wizard to ever exist.

Stockholm Syndrome Another Hopeless timeline, but where Flowey is able to turn Sans by his side after years of torture.

Reader has scars on her back from them being ripped out.

Sans:

At first he's concerned for you, he's worried that whoever gave you those scars could come back. When you reveal your wings were ripped off he gets even more worried, unlike humans, most Monsters wouldn't survive such an attack so to see the reminder of an attack like that worries him. He starts to research ways to give you your wings back and ways to prevent whoever ripped them off from coming around again.

He also asks a lot of questions, some probably inapropirate. But he means well, he's just very curious about this 'God' figure and if you were an angel old enough to have lived through the creation of the unvirse, oh boy, does he have questions.

Papyrus:

When Papyrus first sees the scars its only a glimpse. Your shirt or dress slipping down enough for him to see the start of the scars. He doesn't say anything, he doesn't want to make you upset or bring up any bad memories.

When your scars flair up in pain he's there. Even if you don't tell him about your wings, or your past, he doesn't demand anything. He's just upset you were hurt so badly at some point.

Papyrus is willing to help with the pain whenever, you need medicine? He's running to the cabinet, you need a back rub? Gloves off right then and there, he doesn't care, he just wants you happy and healthy

Red:

He first sees your scares after you first sleep together, when you turn over to rest they catch his eye. "Who the hell did this to ya?!" he would growl out, demanding the name of the perpatrator, of course he couldn't just go and throw hands with God (he wishes he could though) so instead he focuses on making you feel protected.

For a while afterwards he's extra touchy if anyone in the Underground, aside from his brother, gets near you.

He calms down after a while, though his protective streak does flair up everytime your scars ache

Edge:

he's throwing hands with God rn, you can't stop him. Knock knock pearly gates, he's coming your way.

No but seriously, he offers to.

He also starts training you, you and him go out every day in order to practise fighting. You're pretty weak at first, unused to not being able to fly away from danger but you start improving pretty quickly.

Soon you're the power couple everyone wishes they were

Blue:

quiet concern at first, he tries not to pry but his curiosity eventually gets the better of him. When you reveal to him what happened he insists on training you, unlike Edge, his training is less offensive and more defensive and (assuming because you're a fallen angel you have magic) he also trains you to heal better.

He's always trying to keep you away from your insecuritys, whether it's about your beauty "your scars are so cool! They make you look even more beautiful!" to the shame "You stood up for yourself! Not many people can do that, you should be proud!" and the pain "Here, this should help with the phantom pains"

Stretch:

Stretch is the type to quietly comfort you, he doesn't ask questions and he doesn't pry. He knows what it's like to have to keep secrets. He makes sure other people don't see or know about the scars if your uncomfortable with people knowing about them.

He's similar to Blue in that he'll try and raise your spirits, but he do it in a more subtle way. If he notices your upset, he'll grab your favourite sweet on the way home, or he'll suggest doing your favourite activity. Most likely though he'll just drag you into a sleepy cuddle.

Axe:

He doesn't actually think much of it. Horrific scars and injurys are pretty common for Monsters. He doesn't bring it up much, but he doesn't let you bring it down either. Like how you don't let him talk badly about his own injury.

Overall, it's not a big deal to him, he doesn't care that your backs all messed up, so what? so's his head. He'll defend you against anyone who insults you over your scars as well.

Crooks:

Crooks winces everytime he sees the scars. He's a nurse so he can absolutely tell what sorta damage that injury must have caused. He helps take care of you when flare ups happen and because he's a trained nurse he can actually get more heavy painkillers than anyone else could.

He also helps with physical therapy He knows it hurts, but if you get through it you'll get better!

Soon with the help of Crooks you're able to do things you haven't done in years!

the guys! rambling about them below

Phantom: dust's brother, kind of. they don't have a good relationship (shocking). very bitter. misses his brother and his friends, and, you know, his life.

is an actual ghost but dust, and basically nightmare's gang, believe he is an hallucination.

trying to stay positive.

likes to move things around to scare others, drawing in dusty surfaces or dust's phone, and looks over everyone including dust.

Rust: the one that joined nightmare's gang first. in horrortale he took over the throne and re-constructed the core.

eventually moves into the castle (cooking, cleaning, making sure the others are doing fine, and going on missions with the others). loves making outfits with soft pastel colors. building his magic back, he's quite strong.

is slowly starting to process everything that happened back in their universe. horror and rust sometimes get into fights but they care about each other a lot.

___: still choosing a name for themself. unfinished sketch. everything was quite meaningless and dull, but they cared about their brother. seeing him dust himself was as terrible as you'd imagined. they stayed days, months, years still in front of the dust pile.

eventually 404 and flowery found them. travels universes with them. trying to start living even while soulless. can travel through ink and use magic made of ink (it reminds 404 of someone but he won't say anything)

404: an error. a glitch of unknown origin ended with him being the only one in his universe, with no memory and a terrible loneliness that felt ancient. eventually found out how to open portals through doors and met flowery (a regular ut flowey).

they became friends, 404 totally didn't kidnap him. they go around the multiverse making friends (404 stealing souls of people he likes).

can replace any "papyrus" code with himself, so he pick a universe and starts talking to the "resident papyrus" and then kills and replaces him until he gets bored (or until ink finds out where he is; he is quite the multiverse criminal)

AU Sarafinas!

(and the original!)

Sometimes I like to think about what Sarafina would be like in various AUs, and I thought I’d toss some of them up here :)

Ramblings about them under the cut :)

Quick disclaimer – I don’t know much about Undertale AUs other than their basic premises and aesthetics, so a lot of this is based on my interpretations of the AUs and might not (okay, probably don’t) match the “official” ideas about them.

That being said…

OG Undertale! Sarafina, daughter of Sans and Toriel, victim star of my comic Heart and SOUL

Underswap! Sarafina – AKA The Spectacular Sarafina AKA Bandanna:

Bandanna’s nickname comes from the blue bandanna given to her by her father that she never takes off. She likes that nickname well enough; however she says that her “superhero name” is The Spectacular Sarafina. It never sticks though.

Bandanna is friendly, outgoing, energetic and committed to training to be “a mighty warrior” – and hides a bunch of deep-seated anxieties.

She also has a bit of a tempter that she’s very good at keeping in check… usually. Once she bit a rather nasty photographer who tried to take her bandanna off of her when she refused to remove it herself for a picture.

I ramble quite a bit about her here in a previous post.

Horrortale! Sarafina – AKA Skelly: Lives in the Underground. Skelly is the most sheltered of the group – She lives mainly with Sans in an isolated part of the northern most forest of Snowdin. Sans guards her ferociously from other monsters who would harm her. Many have learned the hard way that the northern forest is safe only for her. Few monsters are allowed to see her, including Toriel, Papyrus, and two or three select others. Highly intelligent, books are her way of traveling beyond the forest, and she is very articulate. Often uses big words and speaks very formally, such as calling her parents Mother and Father.

Underfell Sarafina – AKA Scar:

Lives in the Underground. Toriel loved her baby, but feared she would harm Scar should Toriel’s mental state deteriorate further. So, Scar lived with Sans and Papyrus until the run-in with Asgore that left her with her scars. Fearing for and not fully trusting that the skeleton brothers could/would protect her should Asgore search for her, Scar is a homeless runaway, living in the muggy border between Waterfall and Hotland. Hangs out with “a crybaby flower monster”. Scar constantly threatens to burn Flowey, but she would actually fight fiercely to protect him. Flowey often rides on her right side to compensate for her impaired vision.

I had fun with these.

I have a few ideas for comics where these interdimensional sisters interact…

Lunar Serrif

He hasn't felt like the great Papyrus in a long time, not since the great starvation. Horrortale Papyrus deserves better and ourgh what I'd give to make sure he gets it

- Official height is 6'11

- He/Him

- His magic was altered when he started to starve, up until he unknowingly ate human flesh. He grew stronger, and is physically the strongest Papyrus as a result

- Loves flower language

- He has stretched out and thinner bones from unstable magic and starvation

- He has quick reflexes due to his time underground, but unlike Saint this is a constant state that he is in

- Has a dangerous temper, though he's improved since he's reached the surface

- Is sometimes too blunt to the point that he has little to no filter since he finds lying to be pointless

- He is an amazing cook, but overtime he's grown to bake instead since it lacks meat

- He is more weary about giving second chances and trusting others

- He worries about his brother constantly, though there is an undertone of bitterness when he thinks about him. He loves his brother, of course he does, but there are some things he hates when it comes to what Saint does

- He hates being the center of attention after his trauma nowadays, and prefers to shrink in on himself

- Good friends with Pitch and the others, but is especially close with him in private

- He is working to heal from the anger and trauma Saint unintentionally caused, their relationship is strained

- Will use violence if necessary, but doesn't like it

- kind, reserved, honest, idealistic but weary, loyal, self conscious, empathetic, open minded, compassionate, protective, cynical, observant, and patient

- Overall, he prefers cats

- Would be interested in gardening

- Does not curse often but will

- Yellowed bone, ash tinted due to starvation

- A huge romantic, but he doesn't focus on it anymore

- He doesn't say anything, but he feels inferior when around Cyperus

- He craves companionship in small portions, he doesn't value large crowds of friends anymore. This is especially true because he knows that he'd just be more lonely

- He has a scary amount of knowledge about others because he makes sure to remember everything. He has the best memory out of all Papyri except Cash and Rus, but even then what Lunar remembers is especially acute to even the most simple of things

- fucking terrifying when he's fighting, he's cold and calculated without so much as flinching. However, he doesn't like this side of him

- Will dissect people psychologically

- Talks to himself out of loneliness sometimes, a habit from the underground

- Cries quietly, but sniffles a lot and hides

- Would call his lover sugar

- Being part of the royal guard became a painful necessity when underground, it protected him and his brother

- He helped other monsters underground when no one else did, even if that did mean that he had to get hurt sometimes

- Hates the sensation of mud due to the texture reminding him of blood

- Like Cyperus, he's hyper aware of his strength but now he's extra careful when handling things

- He practices gentleness with gardening

- He has more sensitive teeth than he'd like to admit, especially since he had to tolerate it before. He is skilled at making something moist and soft such as baked goods and meat

- His favorite passtime is puzzles, so he'll do things such as word puzzles when he's above surface

- He's reluctant to be physically affectionate, especially nowadays. So, if he lifts you up, you can expect it to be the exact amount of delicacy that's needed

- Physically, he is the strongest Papyrus and he's been considered especially dangerous because he doesn't need to use his magic often

-Others being sincere about wanting to be close with him is a rarity, so he'll be taken aback. Nonetheless, he values it to the point he'd do anything for those he cares about. Anything

- Has a bald cat named June who has a missing leg

- He is pained to admit that he doesn't see Undyne as his friend anymore, that she's someone else. He is even afraid of her.

-Because he's had to lie so much when Underground, he can diffuse a situation and know exactly what to say to avoid conflict

- He is not intimidated by the other Papyri, but there are some things he envies from them

- Magic smells like caramel, magic tastes like peach

Undertale Sans - He sits next to you and waits. He doesn't want to force you to talk or hug him, he's just there if you feel like it. He's patient, and lets you calm down taking the time you need. He just wants to be there for you if you feel like talking about what's wrong.

Undertale Papyrus - You're making him anxious. That's five times he's checking on you now. He puts a plaid on you, and serves you tea, and gives you a teddy bear, and food, and chocolate... PLEASE JUST TELL HIM WHAT'S WRONG HE'S PANICKING. He wants to help desperately but he doesn't know why ;w; He doesn't want to pressure you but he's too anxious to not pressure you. He has no idea how to help, he's quite distressed right now.

Underswap Sans - He gives you some space. He's unsure what to do to help and he's not really good with this to begin with. He's just half-hiding behind the couch, glaring at you, uncertain, waiting for you to ask him to come or something lol. Help.

Underswap Papyrus - He comes to the rescue and crushes you into a hug. He gives the best hugs. He waits patiently for you to calm down then starts to make small talk to either get you to talk or divert your attention from what made you cry. If you want to stay like this for the rest of the day, it's fine! He has nothing better to do anyway.

Underfell Sans - He awkwardly comes to pat your back, keeping a safe distance in case you get mad at him so he can retreat fast lol. Man, he has no idea what the hell he's supposed to do. He's not used to people crying in front of him, usually, monsters go to hide when they need to. He's so confused about what he's supposed to do.

Underfell Papyrus - He gives you Doomfanger, who is not too happy about that. He taped "how to uncry a person who's crying" on Google and apparently hugging pets works, so here you go. Doomfanger claws your face because she's mad you're holding her. Now it's worse. Edge is distressed about what to do now that his genius plan didn't work. He's just.... standing there.

Horrortale Sans - He kidnaps you in his hoodie and holds you close, purring lightly to soothe you. He doesn't talk or try to make you talk, he just hugs you close and nuzzles your neck until you have enough. That's ok if enough is in five hours, he's happy when you're happy.

Horrortale Papyrus - He's crying by empathy without any idea why he's crying lol. He's just like that. He's also a nervous wreck and will try a lot of things to make you feel better, but he's hyperventilating and crying doing so, so chances are after a moment you're the one that will need to comfort him lol.

Swapfell Sans - He gives you a paper. Give him name, address, reason why you're crying and he'll take care of it. He is distressed seeing you like this and he's unsure what to do, that's the best he can do to make you feel better lol. You're not sure killing whoever hurts you is going to solve the problem, but you thank him for the initiative.

Swapfell Papyrus - He's clowning around to make you laugh, making a fool of himself and pranking Nox in the house to have a reaction from you. He won't stop before you smile, then he will sit next to you and ask what's wrong.

Fellswap Gold Sans - He's in protective mode, growling at everything or everyone trying to get close to you in your moment of weakness. You're stressing him out, can you hurry and stop being sad already? He doesn't like seeing you like this, he's scared someone will take the opportunity of it and he won't allow it.

Fellswap Gold Papyrus - He hugs you close and brings you into his safety closet so you can both hide from the world and cuddle him until you feel better. He doesn't like seeing you like this, it's stressing him out.

Au headcanons for !!! A bunch of random ones actually lol

✿ In sweetswap, everything is very pastel and soft looking, for the most part, so after surfacing, monsters are genuinely taken aback and a bit surprised how saturated and dense the colours of the surface are. They thought the books and movies might've been artistically exaggerated...

✿ Ice, Invertedfell Papyrus, doesn't have the soft spot for animals most other Fell Papyri have, but he'd actually be excellent at caring for them, and generally finds them easier to deal with than other monsters lol

✿ Void, of Vesselfell fame /j, wasn't always like that! I don't think I address it very often, but he didn't become a Vessel until around 12 ish. Before then, he was almost just a regular Fell Papyrus.

✿ Sylv, Underswap Undyne, focuses a lot more on biological sciences as the Royal Scientist. She's nearly more akin to a medical doctor with her knowledge and specialties, while Axel, Alphys, still has an interest in tech. They still met the same way as in Undertale...

✿ I'm not sure if I've talked about it here or not, but I have a Sometimes-Headcanon that after surfacing Underfell Asgore basically goes into a sort of permanent assistance/rehab type place. It's years before anyone visits (after the one time Gerson does shortly after surfacing), the first being Undyne, and then eventually Papyrus a few years later. Someone comes to check in him at least every few years after that. He’s...content, there.

✿ I've always kind of liked the idea of Grillby having hypnotizing magic, though he rarely if ever uses it, and it's not super strong/wears off quickly

✿ Dusk, Horrorfell Papyrus, can't paint like he used to, but he eventually comes to find comfort in doing what he can, mostly using his knuckles and laying a canvas flat on the floor. Sometimes his cats help lol

✿ Patch, Horrortale Sans, prefers milder weather, making Fall his favorite season. He’s not a fan of Halloween, but sometimes he'll nap in a pile of leaves when he’s done (or taking a break from) raking.

✿ Lace, Lovefell Papyrus, likes doing crafts! Of all kinds. Beading, embroidery, crocheting, wood burning (I can't remember what it's called, when you draw in wood by burning it), sewing, you name it! If it can be done by hand, he enjoys doing it <3

✿ Iris, Underswap Toriel, is an incredible singer. She sounds classically trained, and back in the day, people could hear her singing all the time. It's not so common anymore, but every once in a blue moon, she can be heard singing quietly in the throne room.

This is a long one shot I had written some time ago. Maybe around 2 months ago? I can't remember, it will be split in two parts! I hope you enjoy!

Also, for the needs of this story, monsters don't turn into dust right away. They dust after 40 days.

Saejun was a humble Farmer. Axe's main work was carpenter, however he was working at a meat shop, as a cooker and he was also fixing things.

Sans didn't know what happened as soon as their eye sockets met. It was a magical feeling.

A spark ignited within his soul.

He began visiting more and more. He couldn't take his mind off of him. He felt butterflies in his soul. His eyes shone light were larger, his grin was bigger, he felt.. Happy, warm.

Each time he got an opportunity, Saejun would visit Axe.

Sometimes he even broke things on purpose "Could you please fix this for me?".

Axe only smiled and gladly assisted him.

In the farmer's market, Axe will pay a visit, quite often.. if not... every time.

He was a great customer.

Saejun will sometimes go to the shop he was working to offer him a gift. The basket contained his vegetables and flowers etc.

He loved how Axe's red eye sparkled, at his flowers, vegetables, him. He loved how his pupil grew larger.

Saejun's face shone at the sight of his flowers neatly in a vase. Axe took care of them.

Days passed...

They began seeing each other in secret. Sans didn't want his father to find out..

Axe, gave him a wooden pin at the shape of flower he added an emerald green gemstone at the center.

Saejun smiled at the sight of it and hugged him. Axe hugged him back, burying his face at the crock of his neck. He put it on his inner shirt above his soul.

They kept seeing each other in secret.

...

Unfortunately; his father, Roman... found out about their relationship.

Roman wasn't happy..

He certainly as well didn't approve of the gossiping that had began spreading around.

Sans returned home one afternoon. His father was sitting on the chair. Tapping his fingers on the table.

"We need to talk Saejun".

Sans's felt his soul sinking.

"I'VE BEEN TRYING SO HARD TO BUILD A NAME FOR THIS FAMILY! AND YOU DARE TO TARNISH IT WITH HIM?!" he stood abruptly! Roman was furious, he saw red... He went too far... Far enough to slap Sans hard on his face.. Forgetting entirely Sans's fragility.

Fury, clouded his judgment... . Sans lost his balance and fell down.

He didn't have the time to explain. He gently brushed his phalanges on his cheekbone.

His father was above him and grabbed Sans by the shirt.

"IS THIS HOW I RAISED YOU?! TO RUN OFF WITH MONSTERS LIKE HIM?!" he punched his face.

"d-dad..please" he pleaded.

"EVERYONE... EVERYONE IS GOSSIPING! YOU BROUGHT SHAME ON THIS FAMILY!" Roman had lost control of his emotions and kept hitting his son.

Sans's eyes teared up. He didn't want to believe that.. What did he do wrong? What was so wrong in being with Axe?

Right now he felt his father's fury all over his face. His face moved left and right due to the force of Roman's wrath. Sans's head span, his vision blurred..

Roman would have beaten him to death.. If it wasn't for Papyrus.

A neighbor had informed him, that they could hear an argument and the were worried.

He left whatever he was doing and run towards their home. He opened the door. Papyrus saw his own father above his brother.

"ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND?!" he pushed him away from Sans.

Sans was on the floor his face and chest full of bruises and cracks. His father kept yelling, a lot of harmful things....

He made a move to attack again but Papyrus stood protectively in front of Sans.

Roman stopped, he looked at his sons. There was a moment of silence.

Sans couldn't get up from the floor. Papyrus yelled "LEAVE HIM ALONE FATHER!!!" Roman stopped.

He looked at his k'nuckles and Sans on the floor. He could hear Sans's chocked breaths and wheezing. Papyrus's gaze pierced him.

Papyrus carefully knelt on the floor, never breaking eye contact with his father. He gently picked Sans up. "... Let's go to my room" his voice soft, comforting.

Papyrus felt bad..

How could his own father lay a phalanx on his brother. For years they tried to be careful knowing his fragility.

He took care of his injuries. His soul ached. Sans didn't dare to make a sound. Even though Papyrus knew he was in pain. Sans just clenched Papyrus's bedsheets.

Sans began crying. Papyrus hugged him. "... Do... Do you love him? Are you happy with him?" he asked while hugging him and caressing his back.

Sans nodded. "i.. love him.. pap.. i wanna be with him... i just know he is the one.. they judge him by his appearance.. but I have seen his tender, kind side".

Papyrus gently kissed his forehead.

"I'll help you.. I am worried but I will help you! If he makes you happy"

Sans, smiled "thank you bro! you are the best"

Papyrus smiled "Yeah yeah now stay still. So I can take care of your injuries. You also stay in my room tonight".

Sans smiled. Papyrus's gently applied healing ointment on his phalanges and gently spread it on Sans's face.

They talked a little and planned the next days.

Roman didn't stay in home. He went to another place for some days.

.

The day came for their meeting. He came out of Papyrus's window. He ran through the forest.

.

They met and hugged each other.

They sat in their place and saw the stars.

What Sans didn't know... Is that his father had followed them.

He was hidden behind a tree. He peeked from behind it and saw his son's lover.

His anger grew. He will put an end to this.. He pulled the gun out of his jacket and aimed at Axe.

.

Sans sensed it and turned his head. He saw his father. He saw him aiming the gun at Axe. His eyes widen.

It all happened in slow motion. Saejun without a second thought pushed Axe away "LOOK OUT!".

Roman, pulled the trigger and the bullet pierced Saejun's sternum. Just below the gift Axe gave him. Hurting his soul.

.. Such was the price of love..

Axe's eyes widen "Wh-". While he fell down.

He turned and looked at Roman. There was a glimpse of anger and grief in his eyes..

Saejun gasped, eyes widen. Blood and magic ran down his mouth and wound. "axe..? he knelt.

Axe was by his side. He grabbed him before he hit the ground.

Something in Roman's soul shattered. His hand trembled. He let anger cloud his judgment. What had he done?

Axe put his shirt on Sans's injuries. His magic and marrow oozed nonstop.

Sans gasped and wheezed while clenching Axe's phalanges. "It's gonna be okay! Hold on!"

Axe teleported in hospital.

When they arrived, nurses and doctors rushed to their aid.

He gently laid him on the stretcher. He didn't let go of his hand.

Saejun opened his green eyes. Those gorgeous emerald eyes looked ahead, at the light above. His breathing was hitched. Ragged.

The went to the surgery room.

"Sir you can't go in please stay here!" a nurse said and Their hands separated.

The doctors did what they could to save his life. His injury was fatal. His HP low.

A faint exhale was all they heard. His eyes opened dimly. A couple of tears ran down his eyes.

He fought to stay alive but, he succumbed to his injuries..

His body relaxed.

The doctors, gave him adrenaline. They used the AED.

No matter how strong the electricity was,

no matter how many times they used it...

Hey! i wanted to ask the skele brothers from undertale, underswap or horrortale finding out that their s/o goes out every night in hiding and when they went to see where he/she was going they found out that he/she is a singer who sings many different types of music?

Heyo! I’ll do my best! I won’t do my usual mini story time though cause that’s a lot of characters….and it’s all the same scenario so I don’t want it to be repetitive so I hope that’s alright!

Undertale/Swap/Horrortale bros with a secret singer!S/o

Undertale bros

Sans:

* You trying to be secretive around this guy? Oh he’s noticed the odd behavior. He just doesn’t mention it. At first it was because well it’s your business and he doesn’t want to be nosy. Buuuuut he’s getting very worried the more nights you disappear.

* Eventually he’ll ask you what’s up. His worry kinda shines through when he explains that he’s worried you might be in trouble. And he admits he’s a little upset you won’t tell him. At this point you just gotta comfort him.

* After he does, you decide to bring him to the area you hide in: a hotel. He’s a little confused on where you’re taking him but imagine his shock seeing your room. INSTRUMENTS EVERYWHERE. Music sheets, a recording studio, even a flyer of an upcoming concert.

* The moment he saw your name on the flyer, everything just clicked. No WONDER you couldn’t tell him. Or anyone for that matter. He apologizes but you tell him he did nothing wrong and you’re happy to have such a caring bone-friend.

* (Oooooo you know that boi is as blue as a blueberry after you said that-)

Papyrus:

* I imagine this guy is not worried. But he is very curious. Like what do you do at night? Puzzles? Karaoke? Why is HE not joining you in all the possible fun?! He tries following in an amazing camouflaged costume! …..which is just him crouching and hiding behind a branch he found.

* You’re just confused on how you’re supposed to tell him that you know it’s still him but it’s also so funny you can’t stop holding in your laugh. You snap take a picture to text it to Sans (Sans: lol).

* Eventually you two end up at the hotel and finally you tell him you see him. “I Have Been Spotted! The Great Papyrus’s S/o Has Amazing Senses! As They Should!” You giggle and invite him inside. There he is mesmerized by the many instruments. He toyed with a few before finding a flyer with your name on it. At first he didn’t realize it was YOUR concert so he said you both should go! When you explained to him, his sockets were widen.

* “Nyeh?! Really?! T-Then I Will Be Your Number 1 Fan!” You both enjoy a moment and play with a few more instruments together.

Underswap bros

Blue:

* You probably think he never noticed. Oh boi he does. He’s a bag of mixed feelings. Like he’s curious on where you go, worried, and also a little upset you won’t tell him though he deduced you would tell him if something is wrong so he’s also a bit relieved that’s not the case. He gets dizzy just thinking about all this.

* So what does he do next time you go to disappear? He gets tactical and goes for an attack!!! Meaning he holds your hand and will not let go until you take him to wherever the hell you go at night. It’s cute, melts your heart, and he has a fucking DEATH GRIP (not hurting you of course but that don’t mean you’re hand is going anywhere-). Yeah you assed out.

* He lets go once at the hotel and was surprised to see so many instruments. He asks a bazillion questions before seeing the flyer….and completely freaking out, especially you bumping into something saying an ‘ow’. He runs back to you to make sure your hand is ok, tearing up about how he could have ruined your whole concert AND hurt you?! Just flick his forehead with the same hand to show him you’re fine and kinda punishment. After all the concert WAS a surprise.

* He apologizes profusely but is glad he didn’t hurt you. You both end up having a sleepover together.

Stretch:

* Now I can’t….’stretch’ this out enough (PUNS MOTHERFUCKER-) but he’s probably the few ones who waited until the damn concert day. Now it’s not because he didn’t care about it.

* In fact, he was super worried! Who wouldn’t be worried about their S/o fricking disappearing at night?! So he just simply asked you if anything was wrong or if you were in any trouble. When you said no, he examined your facial expressions and body movement. You were completely chill. No hint of hesitation or fear. And he was alright with only that. Why? He trusts you! (Not saying the others don’t they just worrywarts-). Though he does keep checking on you. Just in case!

* On the concert day, he was pretty surprised to see you as the composer. But he now understands why you were hiding all those nights. It was like a huge relief if he had to admit. He enjoyed the show and went backstage to give you a big hug!

* “Thanks for the show, honeybun. Keep me updated for more future shows.“ (a little hint to discreetly tell you not to hide anymore secrets in the future.) He went to every show and you made sure to at least tell him where you’ll be staying at for the night.

Horrortale bros

Horror:

* He’s a tough cookie to crack. You can almost never tell what he’s thinking. Though honestly it’s no mystery that he’s extremely worried about you whenever you disappear at night. You can tell by the lingering stares he gives you when you leave. You reassure him but he doesn’t say much.

* And you HAVE caught him following you. It’s ironic but this huge skellie is frighteningly good at making no noise and hiding. But his glowing red eye at night is kind of a dead giveaway. Where’s Wally? Nah this is Where’s Bone-friend? He chuckles and scratches the back of his skull “Sorry….you’re a real catch.” A small pun and flirt that was pretty adorable. You felt bad sending him away so you just invite him in.

* He was very curious about all the instruments and reacted like a freaked out cat upon hearing the noise, slightly hissing at it. You calmed him down and held him closely as you played the ocarina. The tune was much softer so it made Horror relax that much faster. So fast that he fell asleep.

* You smile and snuggle with him. You’ll tell him about your upcoming concert later.

Sugar:

* Baby boi. He is constantly worried about you. But he also doesn’t want to bother you or be intrusive. He is literally battling his own concerns. Luckily you notice his constant worried expression. You promise you’ll explain everything at the day of the concert.

* He will wait for that day in anticipation and nervousness. Many thoughts go through his mind but for now he just makes sure you’re ok. Need any food? Drinks? He’ll at least send you away with some home cooked meals! (Don’t worry he’s been getting better with cooking and he’s actually pretty good!)

* Finally the day has come and have you ever seen a boyfriend look SO proud? This is a proud boyfriend moment as he watched you perform. My god his FACE bro. Completely enamored and entranced by your skill. By you! All that worrying and for what? To surprise him in the most amazing way ever.

* Expect him to always arrive with flowers and a kiss after every concert. And drinks of course! You must be thirsty after all! (He cares so much uvhcgugu. Author-Chan’s heart melting yo-)

Headcanoning how Lemon would be with different AU Sans bc why not

Underswap: Lemon would like Swap but Swap wouldn't be his favorite, they do like Papyrus a decent bit but they feel like that personality on Sans is odd and kinda cursed, so they're a tad bit freaked out by him at times(them meeting fanon/Yanberry would be a nightmare)

Underfell: Lemon would have mixed emotions on Fell. They would absolutely be against him a lot of the time, due to his AU's whole thing, but would find Fell's tough guy personality sort of enduring. They would probably fight him if they needed to, in the name of Justice, but would also silently admire whenever Fell is being tough and intimidating for a rightful and justified reason. They'd probably view him as if Sans was given Undyne's personality but a little too far in a different direction, so they'd like Fell a decent bit. If they got over the point of the AU, they'd probably look up to Fell. For his toughness of course.

Outertale: ...It's just Sans but space themed... THEY CAN FLOAT TOGETHER-

Horrortale: They'd feel really bad for Horror, finding his situation understandable, but would cross the line at the making the whole town eat humans and all that. They'd want to help him but would heavily scold him for some of the stuff he does, would also fight him if needed.

Dusttale: They'd be very conflicted about Dust. They can't decide if he's a villain or a victim in this situation(depending on how much they know ofc). At first, they'd probably believe he's a villain, someone they need to stop, protect the innocent. But if they found out more about his story, they would absolutely be confused. Their brain would melt. "Is he a victim? Is he a villain? How do I stop him? How do I help him? He doesn't seem to want my help, so what should I do??" Staying in Dust's AU for a long period of time would cause Lemon to have a mental breakdown. "I need to help him! I need to do something!! He's suffering, other people are suffering!! What am I if I can't help him?! Who am I if I can't do this?! Please.. Let me help..!"

Aftertale: They'd just view Geno as a sadder Sans, they'd want to give Geno a hug and try to help him.
