"Took a liking to me right away," he said, smirking down at the creature. Now, finally he turned his eyes towards Loki, taking in the sight of the prince who he had recognized purely by footsteps. "I hope you'll forgive the intrusion, but it seemed like drastic measures had become necessary," he said, settling back on the sofa. "Or were you going to avoid me for eternity, Mischief?"

"I brought you some food, elskede." Frigga glided into the room. She was donned in Midgardian fashion, much less grand than her Asgardian garments, but she found the flow of it to be divine. She set the plate down on his desk, and waved a hand in the air to conjure the drink. Smiling at him, she patted his cheek. "You do remember to eat when I'm not around, don't you? Or are you too busy flirting with your co-workers to care for yourself, skatten min?" She tsked playfully. "You do make your mother worry, you know."

"Brother," Thor boomed, his voice brimming with warmth. "I have been searching for you all evening. Why are you out here?" he asked, glancing around the garden. It was quaint by Asgard standards, though perfectly beautiful. "The festivities of Midgard surely haven't bored you already?" There was a question in his voice, but not the one he truly wished to ask. Uncharacteristic for the blonde, he grew quiet for a moment. "Mother wished me to pass along her love," he said, the grin on his face not fading but growing into something more sincere. "Have you been well?"

Pietro didn't really know what to expect, when he walked back into the Tower the next day. Everything that happened immediately after the punch was a blur, and he didn't really want to remember. But he figured he might as well make his way up towards the offices, so that if he was going to get in trouble, it could be over quick. But it was early still, quiet up here. He only saw one other person. "Everyone thought you died on Asgard or something," he called out, leaning against the doorway of Loki's office. "They were gonna send flowers to Barton, they would not shut up about it in the stupid gym. Personally, I don't think either of you are that interesting."

Okay so maybe rewatching Thor for the Loki content was a bad idea because wow the ending of Loki really does parallel the ending of that movie, the way Jane searches for Thor with her scientific equipment because that's how she found him in the first place, the way Mobius waits for Loki at his own spot on the timeline because he knows that's where Loki would choose to be, the way both brothers know their loves still have hope for them and they smile
