September 2019. Jason in Underworld Nightmares has a band called DESTROY and I was trying to redesign their logo as a sticker. I liked it at the time but now that I’m redeveloping that story anyway, the logo will likely change as well.

The current WildFire logo looked quite... bland, so I decided it needed a massive revamp (along with redoing a few elements to match the G'Tauri visual changes). Now it actually looks like a semi-professional game logo!

Graphic design is a great many things. The cat's whiskers, some contend. A waste of time, some argue. It is what it is, the philosophically-minded suggest, unhelpfully. It is, for many, their passion. For others, it is their burden. Then there are those for whom it is both.

We may never know what graphic design truly is. But that will not stop some of Tumblr's sharpest minds from wrestling with this question, a question as old as time immemorial.
