Trying to watch more of the Logan'sRun series and I really hate how women are written in almost 85%* of pre-Star Wars sci fi. Like I don't think people understand in terms of science fiction cinema women just be womening with their broken nails and their boobs and maternal instincts in most sci media pre-Star Wars.

Like there's this scene in the series where they meet this family and Jessica wants to spend time with this mother/daughter and when questioned about it Logan is just like 'oh she's never seen a mom/daughter before. :)

But. Neither. Has. Logan. Like I guess he's just????? Instinctually??????? A deadbeat??????????

*The fifteen percent of decent women scifi characters are mostly Dune. Like people give Frankie so much shit but like AT LEAST HE TRIED unlike literally everyone else.
