now girlies imagine neteyam hold you close while rutting deep into you like a rabbit in heat yes?
warnings – neteyam himself is a warning y’all but for serious. size kink, trying to adjust his fat cock, p in v, top neteyam, kinda quickie?? but not really, cumming inside you, overstimulation, back arching smut (i’m joking.. or not 🙀) ofc neteyam babe is aged up to 19 to rearrange your guts guys
“taking me good” — neteyam sully (⨳)
things takes place fast as you’re placed on the mat of neteyam’s hammock before gasping when your mate starts to leave open kisses down your barely covered chest.
“neteyam, you know i’ve to aid th–“ he was quick to cut you off with coming up to your face level and placing a sharp kiss at your lips. “what about me?” he suddenly asks making you raise a brow with a confusion
“don’t i need an aid,” he looks down to his growing bulge for you to follow his eyes and swallow hard. “for this.” he dry humps you causing you to let a soft sigh out. “‘teyam” you call out his name, his favorite nickname. “yes princess?”
you knew kiri would cuss you out for not coming to help her patch the wounded people up but then again you really need this orgasm that’s starting to make you go feral. “we’ve only few minutes,” you use your elbows as a support to look at your mate who’s between your legs looking like a lost puppy
“few minutes, that’s all i need.” neteyam grins before removing both of your loincloth. you watch neteyam bend down to kiss your thighs probably assuming to eat you out before jackhammering you and quickly stop him. “i’m already ready, ‘teyeam” you tell him
“but princess, ion wanna hurt you” he tells you making you softly smile while his yellowish golden eyes shine at you. “you won’t, just please hurry up and fuck me”
that was the only word you needed to say. neteyam never fails to make you giggle with his eagerness while struggling to rub himself one or two thrust to make him hard enough to slip inside you quick
both of you moan at the feeling of him stretching you out. you close you eyes shut as you try to adjust the size of his blue cock inside you. “too big” you dare to whine making him chuckle
“i told you, you needed to be stretched” he licks his lips before caging you with each of his arms by the side of your head.
“‘teyeam” you softly moan not failing to make his chest tighten, god he’s so in love. “i’m here baby, right here” he brings your small hand to his chest as he slowly bottoms out and waits for your knitted brows and eyes to relax
you keep calling his name as he answers you with a grunt and sighs of pleasure. “it’s okay, you’re okay” he tells you as you give him a light tap to start moving his hips. “neteyam…” you cry out when the man draws almost fully out then painfully pushes back in
“oh dear mother!” you scream in pleasure, neteyam bites onto his lips hard as he keeps edging you to the cliff of your orgasm. “feels so good?” he asks not ashamed to growl when he feels you tightening
“feels so good, so fucking good” you whine again and again, tears breaming in your eyes.
neteyam watches you struggle trying to grip onto something strong that will at least save you from dying out of pleasure. “hold on to me, i’ve got you” he would say sneaking his arms by your waist and wrapping himself around you before pulling you up to sit on his firm thigh
“ngh..!” you would whimper when strong hands grip your hips helping you to move. “princess,” now neteyam wasn’t the type to actually moan loud but it was getting to much as you’re heat sucks him in. “i’m so deep, aren’t i?” your mate nips to your neck, marking you as his
you’d only nod for him to sneak his hands between you and press onto your bud lightly. “use your words, pretty girl” he would say making your orgasm one step closer. “yes, yes so deep” you nod moving your hips eager on chasing to see stars as you cum.
“slow down baby,” neteyam would chuckle. “we’ve got plenty of time.” — “neteyam!” you couldn’t even warn him you’re cumming as you gush all over him. “fuck, fuck, fuck!” he would growls fucking your juices back to you. the squelching sound being too much for his ear
neteyam feels his inside twist and balls tighten before he sinks you down to his girth. “gonna paint your walls nice and pretty” kisses are left on your cheeks, lips, neck and chest. “love you so much, pretty girl”
you feel his thick and warm cum oozes into your wall making you arch your back and press your swollen breast to his chest. “fuuuuck” neteyam cusses, forehead pressing to yours. “lookin’ so pretty when i stuff you with my load.” you shy away your gaze at his words
“no look at me when i tell you how you’re everything to me” he would hold your chin with his fingers and place a long kiss on your forehead. “i love you princess, i love you so much.”
“i love you more” you suddenly gasp when he thrusts upward. “no, never. that’s impossible thing to love me more” he tucks your braids behind your ear.
crying cause it’s not edited and i barely got enough sleep today :’( i love each and everyone of you. — likes + reblogs are appreciated and not pressured! mwah!!

— 𝘪𝘯 𝘧𝘶𝘭𝘭 𝘣𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘮
Tumblr media Tumblr media
the deets — lo'ak is the black sheep in the family, clinging to honor by a precarious thread. you are the well-loved songstress in the tribe. he should resent you for being everything he's not, but his fickle heart can't bring him to do so.
the who — lo'ak x fem omatikaya!reader
the word count — 10.2k (rip yall)
the tags — (one-sided) rivals-to-lovers, angsty angsty, hurt / comfort, reader gives lo'ak a big ol smooch (perhaps more than one), lo’ak is the biggest dumbass and because of this he’s mean asf, reader has a big ol heart and just really wants lo’ak to like her, aged!up characters for maturity’s sake.
the warnings — language, lo'ak is in luv but doesn't realize it, he's in denial that the feelings could be reciprocated, this is super dramatic so put your seat belts on!
the notes — was feeling extra sad and wanted to write something self-indulgent. this lovely anon requested something, and i used their ask as inspiration to finish this beast. fine line, bags, and love in dark are the three main songs i listened to finish this, so if you wanna be in your feels, have a listen LMAO. despite all the support, i’m still so mf nervous posting this ejsjsjdjs
masterlist
Tumblr media
SOMETHING UGLY KINDLES IN THE PIT of Lo'ak's stomach at the mere mention of your name. It's sour on his tongue, bitter in his brain. He doesn't know when he's started to feel like this, started to feel absolutely dreadful anytime he'd hear the timbre of your voice.
It's warm, thick like nectar and it makes him sick.
Ever since you all were little, the elders crooned over what a great girl you were growing into; strong, intelligent, beautiful. It made him boil how much they'd sing your praises, the high esteem everyone held you in as one of the clan's most talented.
Something dull would pick at him being compared to his older brother, but nothing burned more than being compared to you.
Maybe it's because it's always implied whenever your names share the same sentences, that lingering implication that he could be more like you. The clan fans the flames of your mere existence while Lo'ak is snuffed out like a dying fire.
He hates it. He hates you.
He thinks.
It'd be easier to, if you were awful behind the scenes. Arrogant, stuck up, but you're none of those things. You're kind, gentle, mighty when you need to be. It doesn't help that you shine like the brightest star, engulfing everyone in your light, in your warmth.
But Lo'ak resists. He sees right through you, sees right through every saccharine smile you send him. He can see it in your eyes, how you really see him. Despite standing a full head taller than you, he sees the way you look down your nose at him.
It grates his nerves, how disgustingly sweet you are towards him despite all attempts to rebuff you.
Certainly doesn’t soothe his ego when you always seem to be around the bend every time he gets bitched at by the clan, eyes soft and filled with pity. To add insult to injury, you frequently tail him like a shadow after these moments when all he wants is to be alone.
Like now, you linger.
It's after dinner and Kiri and Spider stand before him. They come together like the three points of a triangle and you stand an awkward distance away from them.
Kiri notices you first, her face splitting into a big smile as she waves you over.
Lo'ak breathes a deep sigh before locking eyes with Spider who tries his best to suppress an amused grin.
“Hi,” you chirp and Lo'ak can't help but roll his eyes.
Spider and Kiri greet you eagerly. Lo'ak simply nods his head in acknowledgement before tightening his fist around his dagger.
“We going or what?” he finally says.
You perk up.
“Where are you guys heading off to?” you ask curiously, hands clasped behind your back.
Spider opens his mouth to answer, but Lo'ak cuts him off quickly.
“No where important,” he says, unsure if you'll blab about their whereabouts to the elders, or worse, his parents.
You roll your lips and shift on your feet.
“Can I come?” you ask hesitantly, eyes hopeful.
Kiri's smile grows as she links her arm with yours.
“No,” he says sharply. “Absolutely not.”
Your face falls and something pulls inside his chest when you fail meet his gaze, your frown barely perceptible.
You make a move to pull from Kiri's grasp, but her arm tightens through yours. She levels Lo'ak with a weighty glare and you fidget uncomfortably under his narrowed eyes.
“Don't worry about it,” you say, like someone's hit a reset button. You smile that pretty smile and Lo'ak wants to scream. "It's okay, I think Rutan needs help with clean up."
You slip from Kiri's grasp and the three watch you walk off.
“Do you always have to be such a bitch?” Spider scoffs a disbelieving laugh.
“She's just gonna tag along so she can snitch,” Lo'ak grumbles.
“Oh c'mon,” Kiri argues. “________ just wants friends.”
Lo'ak sneers.
“I don't want to be friends with her,” he says firmly, knuckles white around the handle of his knife.
“Weirdo,” Spider mumbles. “She’s cute. Think she likes you.”
Lo'ak's spine stiffens.
“It's an act” Lo'ak grumbles. “She just wants to look good in front of the elders to keep up whatever nice girl show she's putting on.”
Kiri rolls her eyes hard.
Tumblr media
There are moments when Lo'ak thinks he's being harsh, but he can't help himself. It's like he loses all semblance of a filter when it comes to you.
“Hi, Lo'ak,” you greet him sweetly, lowering yourself onto the fallen log he's perched on, fashioning arrows to practice with later on in the evening with Neteyam.
He shifts away from you, putting the distance of two bodies between the two of you as he pauses his task at hand.
“Hi,” he says flatly.
“Can I help?” you ask tentatively, fingers twitching towards one of the untouched sticks in a pile next to his feet.
His kicks them closer to himself, out of your reach before leveling you with a sharp glare.
“No thanks,” he says quickly and you recoil slowly, letting out a shaky laugh before fixing that stupid smile on your pretty face.
“Oh, sorry,” you apologize, straightening in your seat.
A silence so uncomfortably palpable settles over the two of you as you shift so that your knees are turned towards him.
His throat bobs when his gaze travels from your little toes all the way up to your inquisitive gaze, golden and searching. It makes something unruly settle in his gut and he turns his attention back to carving his arrows.
“Do you need something?” he breaks the silence finally. “I'm kinda busy.”
You bite your lip before scooting a little closer to Lo'ak's hunched figure.
“My birthday's coming up,” you start.
“I'm aware,” Lo'ak almost scoffs.
It's all the clan has been able to talk about for the past few days. How they'd be able to prepare for the golden girl's next birth cycle and what they'd be able to do to make you smile the brightest.
“Your birthday is a week before,” you state and his head whips towards you.
“How do you know that?” he asks sharply, accusation heavy in his gruff tone.
You flinch and he falters for a moment before your smile simply widens.
“We grew up together, Lo'ak,” you say and the way his name sounds from your mouth sounds absolutely heavenly. “You're my friend.”
Friend.
He scowls at the term.
“We're not friends,” he bites back.
If the statement bothers you, you don't show it, simply tucking a strand of hair behind your ear before putting on a brave face.
“I want to celebrate with you,” you say shyly.
“Hard pass,” he says too quickly, gathering his sticks and fashioned arrows under his grasp.
He leaves you in the clearing on your own.
Tumblr media
You must be fucking with him. You have to be. It'd be the only explanation for why Jake pulls him aside a few nights later and tells him that you've requested to work with him and Neteyam during archery practice.
“No,” he says stiffly, shaking his head.
His dad levels him with a hard glare and Lo'ak sighs deeply.
“She's a nuisance, Dad,” he argues. “Me and Neteyam are making good progress with our training and we'll have to start at square one if she joins.”
“Lo'ak, this isn't an ask,” Jake says sternly.
“But, Dad!”
“Lo'ak.”
Lo'ak huffs, snatching his bow and quiver angrily before storming off.
Tumblr media
“You're doing great,” Neteyam says to you once the three of you have convened in the training circle.
The three arrows you've shot have all landed within centimeters of the mark and to say that Neteyam is impressed is an understatement. Lo'ak, on the other hand, fumes not-so-silently as he tears his arrows from his target.
Yet again, you have another person wrapped around your finger and it makes his blood simmer as he assumes his position at the marker and loads his arrow. It splinters through the air and hits the target right on the bullseye. The arrow punctures through the hide and lodges its way into the wood from the sheer force of Lo’ak’s shot.
You start at him moon-eyed, lush lips breaking into a full smile.
“Perfect shot,” you observe. “That was awesome.”
Lo’ak scans your features hesitantly before his gaze flits to his older brother, waiting for any acknowledgment that he’d done a great job, but Neteyam is taking notes on the arrows still stuck in the fabric of your own target.
His heart sinks.
“Fuck this,” Lo’ak grumbles, bundling all of his belongings.
He stalks through the clearing, past his brother, to leave you two.
He doesn’t know what fuels the fire more, the fact that Neteyam didn’t even bat an eye at the feat they’d been practicing for for the past three weeks because he was too immersed in you, or the fact that you bore witness to his first clean shot and gave him that sickeningly sweet smile that made his stomach turn.
“Where are you going?” Neteyam sighs.
“Somewhere you two aren’t,” he grumbles under his breath, ducking through the brush of the lofty forest.
You lick your lips, locking eyes with Neteyam as you give him a bashful grin and slowly break away to follow Lo’ak’s path.
He isn’t far ahead as you push through the vines and low-hanging leaves, the path lined with large plants and the spindly roots of the looming trees. The grass is plush between your toes as you scamper to follow Lo’ak from a distance, watching as his lithe body climbs through the dense flora.
“Why are you following me?” he calls after a few dozen paces, stopping in the middle of the path to whirl on his heel.
His golden eyes are syrupy, warm despite the edge, and you can’t help but flash him your pearly whites in a genuine smile that takes up your dimpled cheeks.
“Why’d you run off?” you ask him. “You were doing so well!”
His chest rises and falls with a scoff.
“You can give it a rest, you know?” Lo’ak says flatly, fist so tight around his bow he feels like he’ll crush the wood.
Your expression morphs, eyebrows furrowing in a way that makes Lo’ak throat bob, something pinching behind his ribcage.
“What?” you ask, frown marring your pretty face.
“I don’t know what you’re playing at, but you can stop acting like you wanna be friends with me,” Lo’ak says matter-of-factly.
“You are my friend,” you protest quietly.
Lo’ak rolls his eyes.
“Dude, whatever,” he mutters, turning his back on you.
“Is it so wrong?” you murmur and he stops in his tracks, refusing to meet your gaze. “To be friends?”
Friends.
That stupid fucking word again.
Lo’ak bites his tongue and stalks off, leaving you on the path.
Tumblr media
Neteyam rips him a new one when he sees him at dinner later that night. Lo’ak hangs his head as Neteyam digs in.
“Is it so hard to be nice?” Neteyam asks, hand squeezing his shoulder as they stand a handful of meters away from the main circle.
As his eyes wander, he notices you sitting with his sister, head thrown back in laughter that glitters and wafts with the rising smoke of the fire. He swallows turning his attention back to his older brother.
“Just don’t like her,” he admits. “I want her to leave me alone.”
“You don’t like her or you like her too much?” Neteyam asks, brow bone raised.
Lo’ak’s face scrunches.
“Ew, no,” he blurts. “Why would I—”
“________ just wants to fit in,” he sighs. “She has trouble making friends.”
“Yeah, I wonder why,” Lo’ak mocks. “I don’t know why Kiri and Spider are always up her ass, she’s—”
“Lo’ak,” Neteyam warns.
“Dude, everyone is always ________ this, _________ that! I don’t understand what’s so great about her—”
A throat clears and the brothers both turn their attention to the newcomer. Lo’ak could groan in frustration seeing that you’ve abandoned your seat and now stand nearby with two wooden plates.
“They’re going to start cleaning up soon,” you say hesitantly. “Wanted to bring you some.”
Neteyam takes it graciously from you, nodding his head in thanks while Lo’ak stares down at the plate you’d arranged for him, abundant in vegetables and thick cuts of meat.
“No thanks,” he says flatly.
You try to coax him.
“C’mon Lo’ak, you say gently. “I know you haven’t eaten yet.”
“No thanks,” he repeats stonily, holding his hand up.
You offer up the plate again.
“Lo’ak–“
“I said no thank you,” he grunts, annoyed.
He’d only meant to push it back towards you, but one second it’s in your hands, the next you’re wearing dinner, the plate clattering onto the ground.
“Lo’ak!” Neteyam scolds.
“Shit, I didn’t–”
“It’s fine,” you breathe an airy laugh and Lo’ak freezes when he hears your breath hitch. “It was an accident.”
“Oh, ________…” Neteyam sighs, but you’re picking up the plate and scurrying off, ignoring the nearby snickering.
Tumblr media
“Whatever you got going on, you need to cool it,” Jake scolds him in the family tent after dinner that night. “________ is a good girl, she’s trying to find her place. Can’t really do that if you’re gonna be a jerk to her all the time.”
Lo’ak resists the urge to roll his eyes because, yet again, someone is sticking up for you, admonishing him about how he could be nicer, how he could take you under his wing, how he–
“What about me?” Lo’ak argues. “I tell her to leave me alone all the time, but she doesn’t listen. Why do I have to be nice to someone who doesn’t respect–”
“Cut the bullshit,” Jake thunders. “You haven’t even tried being her friend.”
“Why should I?” Lo’ak counters.
“Because maybe you two are more alike than you’d care to learn,” Jake says knowingly. “Now go apologize.”
“Dad!”
“Go, Lo’ak.”
Lo’ak sucks in a deep breath before squeezing his eyes shut and blowing out through his nose.
“Fine, fine, whatever,” he grumbles, ducking from the tent into the humid night air.
He starts into the jungle, fingers brushing over the leaves and petals of the plants and flowers. He takes the moment to regulate his pounding heart in his chest before trying to wrack his brain for any words that he could scrounge into a believable apology.
When he crosses the glowing waters of a skinny brook, something rustles nearby and his hand is on the hilt of his dagger in the blink of an eye.
He turns to face the noise, knife drawn, but then you emerge and his body relaxes a fraction.
“Fuck, ________, you scared me,” he sighs in relief.
You fidget and swallow down the lump in your throat.
“Sorry,” you say sheepishly.
A brief silence dawns the two of you and Lo’ak notes that you’ve cleaned up from the evening meal’s debacle, now wearing a longer loincloth threaded with round pearlescent beads that refract the luminescence of the surrounding forest.
Your grasp tightens around a leather bound journal and for a moment, he wonders what you could be writing about.
When you follow his gaze, you shyly tuck the journal behind your back and give him an uneasy smile.
“I wanted to–”
“I came to–”
Your words clash and you breathe a little laugh through your nose as you gaze at him with brilliant eyes. You start closing the distance and Lo’ak’s hands grow clammy.
“You first,” you offer.
Whatever threads of an apology he’d crafted in the moments prior have evaporated now that you stand before him, absolutely glowing.
“Lo’ak?” Your head tilts and his cheeks warm.
“Sorry,” he says hoarsely. “For what happened at dinner.”
You shake your head quickly.
“You don’t have to apologize,” you assure him, reaching out to touch him.
He recoils, clearing his throat as he retreats to put an ample amount of distance between the two of you.
You eye the berth and something shutters across your face as you rock back on your heels and flash him another uneasy smile.
You haven’t even tried being her friend, his dad’s words echo like a call in the night. Maybe you two are more alike that you care to learn.
Were you? You and Lo’ak were as different as they come, you molded by the love and adoration of the clan, him built up by the lessons and lectures he received from his parents and Neteyam.
“Where are you going?” you ask, blowing by the previous conversation.
He shrugs.
“Dunno,” he admits. “I was looking for you.”
The way you freeze is almost covert, your lips rolling as you try to hide the smile threatening to split your face.
“Oh,” you hum. “Wanna go for a walk?”
No, he wants to say. He absolutely does not want to spend anymore time with you than he has to. Likes to believe that he wouldn’t even bat an eye if he were to never see you again, but you’re looking at him expectantly and his dad’s words are like a mantra in his head, so he agrees begrudgingly.
It’s awkward at first, silent except for the natural soundtrack of the vicarious jungle. But like you do so well, you break the silence and Lo’ak has to resist rolling his eyes for the third time that night.
“What are your favorite colors?” you ask suddenly.
“I dunno, green?” he offers.
“Are you sure?” you laugh quietly.
Lo’ak thinks a moment before nodding his head.
“Yeah, green,” he finalizes. “And blue.”
He barely notices that you’d fallen behind, and when he turns to look over his shoulder, he sees that you’re scratching something into your little journal.
“And your favorite fruit?” you press, nose still between the pages.
Lo’ak breathes out a laugh and your head shoots up.
“What? You gonna send this list to the lab?” Lo’ak asks.
You give him a shy smile, shifting on your feet.
“No,” you say softly, then whisper to yourself, “just compiling a list to win your heart.”
Lo’ak barely hears you, ears twitching as his eyes narrow in confusion.
“What?” he asks.
You snap your notebook shut, shaking your head quickly as you pad through the grass to catch up to him.
“Nothing.”
Tumblr media
Something ripples in the fabric after that night, you and Neteyam both notice when Lo’ak enters the training clearing the next afternoon and greets you with a nod instead of flat out ignoring your presence like he had the last training session.
And you think that the moment is fleeting, a one off, but as the days progress, you realize that maybe Lo’ak is finally softening around you.
He stays for entire lessons, the most minute of smiles twitching at his lips whenever you compliment his shots. He waits near the edge for you as you pack up your things, and while the walk back to the village is a quiet one, you bask in his company, triumphant when he doesn’t run off.
And while your evening walks are few and far between, you savor the moments he affords you, wedging yourself between him the crumbling walls of his facade.
Tonight is one of those moments, sitting on adjacent branches overlooking the lively forest, when Lo’ak lets you peek farther into his life than he’d originally intended.
“He never understands,” he sighs, popping a few berries from his satchel past his lips.
Tonight’s topic is his father and you listen intently, eyes fixed on the way he reclines on the branch and looks up at the stars.
“I try hard, you know? To make everyone proud, but all they see is my failure,” he says, obviously annoyed. “No matter what I do, it’s not good enough.”
“You do great things, Lo’ak,” you say quietly, the first words you’ve said all night.
And like your voice is a reminder, Lo’ak’s spine goes rigid, throat bobbing as he realizes that he may have said too much to you. He’s getting too comfortable and you’re all the willing to absorb every insecurity and every worry he has.
But something about quiet moments like these makes him loose-lipped, eyes fluttering to where you’ve got your notebook balanced in the seam of your thighs, scrawling something on the pages as you eat your own berries.
The words are leaving him before he can stop them.
“Easy for you to say,” he murmurs. “You’re perfect.”
The laugh that escapes you startles him and a few of the berries he was about to devour slips from his fingers and plunk down the leaves.
“I’m not perfect,” you assure him.
“Only someone who’s perfect would say that,” Lo’ak grumbles, peering over the edge of the branches to spot his fallen fruit. “The whole village loves you, everyone’s always so ready to bat for you.”
You look down at the pages of your journal with a sad smile.
“It’s a lot of pressure,” you admit quietly. “Everyone’s watching your every move, waiting for you to mess up.”
Lo’ak shifts uncomfortably.
You continue.
“And most of the villagers our age don’t like me,” you say, thumbing one of the pages. “They say I kiss ass, that I’m always trying to keep a leg up.”
Lo’ak winces, knowing that he’s the source of at least one of those sentiments.
“The elders think you’re honorable,” Lo’ak argues gently. “You’re talented, you have something to offer the people.”
“Honor means nothing if you’re bound by it,” you say finally, closing the cover to your journal. “If anything, I want to be more like you.”
“Like me?” Lo’ak asks incredulously, eyebrows furrowed in confusion.
You nod, smiling at him.
“Yeah,” you whisper. “I think you’re brave, fearless. And even if you care what people think, you do what you want.”
Lo’ak is quiet, taken aback by your confession.
Before he can respond, you’re gathering your things, bidding him a warm farewell as you begin climbing down the tree to disappear into the night.
Tumblr media
After that night, you think that maybe you’re just imagining things, that you’re reading too much into the fact that Lo’ak has begun to finally act like you exist, but then Kiri says something and the hope sends your heart soaring.
“Seems like he finally got his head out of his ass,” she says a few mornings later as you two stand near a shallow stream, eyes peeled for any fish you two could bring back to the village.
“Think so?” you ask nervously, arrow trapping the flailing fish to the pebbles of the stream’s bed.
Kiri shrugs.
“He actually pays you mind now,” Kiri observes. “That’s a step up for sure. I think you just need to spend more time with him.”
You smile, splashing through shallow waters to capture the fish and add it to the growing pile in the basket between you and the middle Sully.
“Yeah?” you wonder
So you test the theory, basket filled with various peeled fruits and a little container of nectar you squeezed from the petals of a flower.
It doesn’t take long to hunt him down. When you enter the training circle, he’s packing up his things, quiver strapped to his back and bow in his fist.
Before you make yourself known, he’s turning on his heel to face you, eyes wild as he swallows down the lump in his throat.
He’d be the last to admit that the last night you two spent together was branded in his brain, that his mouth had dried up so much so he felt his tongue could crack.
There were so many implications in your words and it horrified him, scared him so much that he knew he couldn’t let you that close again.
But now you stand before him, pretty as can be, hopeful even, and he’s at a war with himself, absolutely caught between resenting you for being everything he’s not and giving into the draw.
“Hi,” you greet, basket heavy in your hands.
You look more radiant than usual, skirt brushing the forest floor, the woven vine of your top banded to expose your midriff.
“Hey,” he replies hesitantly.
“Where you going?” you ask curiously.
His throat bobs as he gestures behind him.
“Hunting,” is all he says.
“Do you want to go for a walk?” you ask eagerly.
He doesn’t. He shouldn’t. Because things are shifting and he’s not sure if he’ll be able to stomach the change. If he’ll be able to admit to himself that you’re wearing him thin, that you make him feel things he’s never felt before and that it makes him feel like he has no control.
Because when it boils down to it, you make him lose control, make him lose his filter, and make him feel every emotion twice as hard.
“No,” he says.
And in that moment, you feel like you’re back at square one, watching as his eyes turn stony and his jaw sets firmly.
“You shouldn’t go hunting on your own,” you say softly. “Will someone be with you?”
“It’s fine,” he argues. “I’m fine.”
“I can go with you!” you offer. “I thought maybe we could sit by the stream and talk, but we can go hunting instead. We can–”
“No,” he says again, pinning you with eyes so lethal, it makes you wonder if you really had imagined the moments you shared with him, if you had imagined Kiri telling you that she saw it too.
You try again anyways.
“It’ll be good practice and–”
“I said no, ________,” he barks. “You’re dead weight and I want to be alone.”
Your lips seal and you bite the inside of your cheek.
Lo’ak could nearly scream in frustration when he notices the way your shoulders sag and it makes something in his heart cinch.
“Okay,” you agree, nodding quickly. “Be safe and–”
The words die on your tongue when you notice the look of annoyance on Lo’ak’s face.
Tumblr media
Lo’ak is in deep shit, you come to find out hours later.
You sit outside of the training circle, knowing that Lo’ak will return down the path after his hunting trip. What you don’t expect, however, is Jake and Neytiri emerging with the entire line of Sully kids and Spider.
Jake grips the back of Lo’ak’s neck tightly as they march past wandering eyes, straight to the family tent. You don’t miss his wounds though, varying in depth, some bleeding, some sore.
You’re hot on their heels, standing right outside of the entrance as Jake tears into the middle Sully.
“Time and time again, I have to get on your ass for doing the complete opposite of what I ask you to do!” Jake’s voice is thunderous inside the tent. “Do you not realize that you not only risked your life but your sisters’ too?”
There’s a beat of silence before Jake continues, obviously pacing from the way his volume fluctuates.
“And what were you thinking bringing Tuk? She’s nine, Lo’ak!” he shouts, the anger and the hurt evident in his tone.
“I’m sorry,” Lo’ak mumbles.
“Yeah, I bet you are!” Jake scolds. “I don’t ask for much. All I want is for you stay in line. Just stay out of trouble and work hard on your training. I paired you with ________ and Neteyam in hopes that maybe you’ll tighten up and be more like them, but you’re always disappointing me.”
You frown.
Whatever Lo’ak had done probably didn’t warrant such deep admonishment and something tugs especially hard at your heartstrings knowing that all he wants to do is make his dad proud.
“You’re surrounded by good influences, but you always have to go against the grain, Lo’ak,” Jake says, the edge in his tone softening. “I’m getting tired of the bullshit, son. You need to clean up your act. Hear me?”
“Yes sir,” Lo’ak says quietly, voice almost a whisper behind the hide of the tent.
“Now go get yourself cleaned up,” Jake huffs.
Your spine is straightening when you hear foot steps closing in, holding your breath as the flap to the tent billows open and Lo’ak is emerging.
His eyes flit to yours and his expression sours further.
“Lo’ak,” you murmur, reaching out to him.
He’s shrugging you away, wincing when a wound on his shoulder stretches especially taut.
“You’re hurt,” you say quietly. “I’ll–”
“Leave me alone,” he says, eerily level.
“But you’re–”
“I said leave me alone, ________,” he warns, pushing past you in what should be the pursuit of his grandmother’s quarters.
Instead he’s making a beeline for the jungle.
You’d seen the look in his eye before he stonewalled you, seen the hurt and heaviness that most people didn’t seem to notice because he was always so adventurous and carefree.
You follow after him.
“Lo’ak, you know he’s only worried for you,” you try to reason gently, fingers reaching for his own as you duck under massive leaves and fluttering insects.
He whirls to face you, swatting your hand away.
“Don’t fucking touch me,” he bites. “You don’t know anything.”
You swallow, holding your hand to your chest as you watch him lay down every brick to wall himself off.
He hates it. He hates how you look at him, how you seem to pity the life he has to live. It makes him sick, thinking that you two have it the same. He’d rather be hated for being great than hated for being a let down. It’s insulting, how you think you know how it feels.
“Let’s go back. I’ll wrap your wounds and–”
“Of course, clan’s golden girl is gonna patch me up and make it all better, huh?” he seethes facetiously. “Just fuck off!”
You flinch, blinking at the boy you holds so much rage in front of you.
“I know you’re hurting, but you don’t have to be mean,” you whisper, taking in a shuddering breath to will yourself not to cry.
“Mean? Mean?” Lo’ak bristles. “I’ve tried telling you to lay off nicely, tried telling you to just leave me alone, but you don’t listen. You just pry and overstep and you make every little thing about you! Oh, it’s so much pressure, villagers our age hate me, of course they would! You already have everything and just have to go rub salt in the wound!”
You shrink, eyes welling as your lip trembles.
“Lo’ak, stop,” you whimper.
“We’re not friends, ________.We never were and we never will because I don’t like you,” he spits. “Now please, for the love of god, will you just leave me alone!”
The forest is silent save for Lo’ak’s ragged breathing, fists clenched as he glares down at you.
“I-” Your breath hitches and you choke out an apology. “I’m sorry.”
Lo’ak’s heart softens a fraction as you take a step back, turning quickly on your heel.
“Fuck, I’m sorry,” you rasp, tripping over your own feet as you stumble into a run, putting as much space as you can between you and the middle child who stands in the middle of the forest, unable to wrangle every harsh word he’d said to force back down his throat.
Tumblr media
You dropped your journal.
Lo’ak is sure you’re looking for it, know that you’ve always got your nose stuck in it. You had dropped it running off and now he has its leather bound in his hands.
It’s been a couple of nights since the faithful evening he’d blown his top and he’d only seen whispers of you. It was so unlike you to disappear, to not be entertaining the masses as they fell to your feet.
He’d cooled off significantly, and when he replayed the conversation in his head, he winced, body folding in on itself as he realizes how harsh he’d been.
“Are you actually thinking thoughts?” Spider claps him on the shoulder, startling him so badly he drops the journal.
It lands spine down, the pages fluttering open.
He chances a peek before Spider is rounding his lithe figure to pick up the notebook. All he makes out is a rough sketch.
“You write?” Spider asks, intrigued.
“No, it’s ________’s,” Lo’ak answers.
“Oh, your little girlfriend’s?”
Lo’ak gives the human a cross look, snatching the book from his grasp as he stands up.
“Trouble in paradise?” Spider pries, scurrying to keep up with Lo’ak’s long strides.
A beat of silence before Lo’ak finally answers.
“Made her cry,” he mumbles, embarrassed.
Spider winces behind him.
“You serious?”
Lo’ak sighs.
“Yes, dude, fuck,” he breathes, hand coming to the back of his neck. “I don’t know what came over me. Dad was ripping me a new one and Neteyam already chewed me out before they got there and she was being annoying, so I just…”
“Bro,” Spider scoffs in disbelief, scratching the back of his head. “You’re a real dickhead sometimes.”
Lo’ak’s eyes wander as he shifts uncomfortably, feeling incredibly small as his friend glares up at him.
“I mean, I told her I wanted to be left alone!” Lo’ak tries to defend weakly. “I- I didn’t mean to.”
“She likes you a lot, dude,” Spider reiterates. “She just wants you to like her back.”
Despite the glaring signs, Lo’ak has trouble believing that your feelings for him far surpass charity work. They couldn’t, it was impossible. Because at the end of the day, you’re you and he’s…him.
He opens his mouth to say something, but Spider beats him to it.
“Did you at least apologize?”
Lo’ak squirms.
“Dude!”
“Look, I know, I know,” he tries to assuage the situation.
“________ is literally the sweetest girl in the entire clan you just–“
“I get it, bro, I get it!” Lo’ak huffs.
“Get your head out of your ass,” Spider says. “She might not stick around long enough for you to realize.”
“Realize what?” Lo’ak snaps.
“Are you really gonna play stupid right now?”
He blinks at the human.
“You like ________,” Spider says matter-of-factly. “You always have, ever since we were kids.”
“Oh, piss off,” Lo’ak grumbles.
“Dude, you’re literally my best friend, but I sometimes I wanna shove my foot so far up your–”
“I do not like ________,” Lo’ak says sharply.
“Everyone sees it but you, dipshit,” Spider scoffs. “You like her, but you’re scared. She’s perfect and she intimidates you. Think she’s gonna see you for what you really are and turn her back on you like everyone else does when you fuck up, but she’s not like that, Lo’ak. She’s been there whether you like it or not. But she might not always.”
Lo’ak swallows down the knot in his throat, fingers tightening around the notebook.
“Everything clicking?” Spider asks knowingly.
Lo’ak throws him a final narrowed glare before stalking off.
Tumblr media
It’s Lo’ak’s birthday and just like every orbit, he spends it alone in the forest.
At first, he’d been burdened with the weight of hurting your feelings, but now his conversation with Spider weighs heavy on him as he climbs dirt walkways and flowered paths.
It doesn’t help that your notebook weighs heavy in his satchel, a silent reminder that he still has a piece of you while you cling to his peace of mind.
I think you’re brave, fearless. They’re the words you uttered to him that fateful night you turned the reality of you two on its axis.
As he splices all the moments you two shared like a reel, he realizes that it’s endless. That you’re always there, you’d always been there, like a layer of impenetrable atmosphere surrounding him.
He really should apologize, he knows this much, but you’ve disappeared like a wisp of smoke. Training sessions have returned to a sibling affair and he’s too prideful to ask about you.
It’s almost eclipse when he begins making his way back for the evening meal, knowing that a scolding will await if he arrives even a minute late.
After what had happened with you, he was lying low, trying to diminish his blip from the radar.
As he closes in on the village’s main circle, he notes that it’s quiet. A little too quiet. It puts him on edge, makes him draw his bow and feel around for an arrow in his quiver.
A few more paces and he’s broken into the clearing, a few stragglers milling about. Another half a dozen steps and it’s like the forest melts into a celebration, whorls of blue pouring into the circle as villagers begin trilling.
Lo’ak is hoisted into the air as the dying fire in the center of the camp begins to slowly roar.
“Happy birthday, baby bro!” Neteyam caws loudly as they begin jostling him into the air, chanting and dancing as the dense crowd of clanspeople celebrate him.
It’s like time slows as he peers from side to side eagerly, seeing the way Spider, Kiri and Tuk dance happily among his people. Jake and Neytiri stand near the fire, smiles wide when they see the look of awe on their middle son’s face.
When he’s finally set on his feet, he wobbles, childlike as he turns, taking in the glowing streamers that crisscross between the tents. Flowers of green and blue thread through the vines, gleaming like lamplight as the forest buzzes around them.
“Wha– What is all this?” Lo’ak croaks in disbelief, eyes flitting wildly as he notices Norm and Max standing next to a table they’d hauled from the pod to the circle, piled high with meats and vegetables wrapped in leaves.
A platter of yovo fruits, his favorite, are at the center, surrounded by a painted sign with his name and the handprints of dozens of villagers on it.
“You survived another orbit!” Neteyam laughs heartily, head-locking the younger boy before roughly digging his knuckles into the top of his head.
A laugh bubbles from Lo’ak’s lips, swatting his brother away as villagers and clan members he’d grown up with approach him one by one to greet him.
As the night progresses, he doesn’t even realize he’s searching until your mother approaches and his spine goes rigid, cheeks warming under her piercing gaze.
“From my ________,” she says, setting a pouch into his palms. “She toiled over these for many eclipses. Please take care.”
Lo’ak’s nod is delayed as his satchel shifts on his shoulders, a dull reminder that your journal still remains with him, begging to be read.
“Where– Where is she?” he asks suddenly, feeling your absence all the more now that your gift sits in the palm of his hand.
“My daughter does not feel well,” your mother says simply. “She wished to be excused from the festivities.”
His chest feels hollow, stomach tight as his cheeks burn. You’d mentioned this to him, all those days ago in the training circle, about wanting to celebrate with him.
His eyes flit to the flowers looped through the vines, the mountain of yovo fruits, the gift in his hands. He doesn’t want to be presumptuous. Doesn’t want to fuel the tiniest ember of hope in chest, but he can’t help it.
He can’t help but read into it, into the implications of this celebration you’d planned all for him, into every word you uttered to him in the quiet of the forest’s chirping.
It’s all it takes for him to lock himself in his own head. The feast melts into the background, dull, as his eyes cut the crowd for you.
You have to be here, gotta be hanging around the outskirts silently. The idea taunts him, makes his gut twist hard as images of you dancing in the circle, singing to him, celebrating him, loving him—
Lo’ak freezes, blinking incredulously at the thought that’d just crossed his brain. It makes him queasy, makes the regret and the guilt gnaw at every nerve ending as your crying face flashes like an unwanted slideshow in his brain.
It’s all he can think about as the festivities die, as villagers begin turning in the for the night and he helps his family clean up the aftermath of another orbit finally finished.
Spider helps Tuk and Neteyam near the fire, and as Lo’ak moves through the motions like he’s caught in a tide, Kiri watches, knowing all too well what consumes her brother’s mind.
It isn’t until Lo’ak is shrouded by the stillness of the early morning, his family tucked in their tent, bodies and limbs splayed as they sleep together, that he sits in a swinging hammock, your journal and the pouch in his lap.
It feels wrong, the way he thumbs the cover, working up the courage to turn it open. But Ewya, fate, would have never left it in his wake if it wasn’t meant to be read.
As his finger ghosts the etchings of the front cover, worn and loved by you, something tickles his leg as he admires the leather. He blinks in disbelief when he sees a singular woodsprite resting against his thigh.
Before he loses his nerve, he’s opening the pages with bated breath.
Recipes, nature notes, short thoughts fill the sheets and Lo’ak feels like he’s reading into your brain, seeing all the little things no one bothers to know.
he is like the sun,
shines so bright,
but burns the closer you get.
Lo’ak’s pointer finger glosses over the ink, over your curly handwriting.
he is so incredible, but he doesn’t even know it. i want to shout it to every creature in the forest, every tree and every flower. oh, how i wish to be as fearless as him.
His chest heaves as the words blur.
Fearless.
Fearless.
Fearless.
In this moment, he feels everything but. He feels like a coward.
He continues to flip, throat lodged as he sees drawings, both rough sketches and full renderings. He hadn’t even known that you liked to draw, yet here he was, observing his home through your artistic eye.
Flowers, leaves, trees, creatures, insects, fruits mar the stained papers, etched like it’d been caught in real time.
likes green and blue.
likes yovo fruits.
The entry from the day you’d first walked with him through the forest.
When he turns the page, his breath hitches.
In full color, you’d captured his bullseye from your first training session. His back taut from the release, expression shaded stoic. He looked mighty, like the strongest warrior, and it was all through your eyes.
Lo’ak doesn’t even realize he’s crying until the bullseye in the illustration bleeds from a fallen tear. Another one drips from his chin, then another.
The next page is the night you two had poured your hearts out to each other. Again, in full color, he’s watching the stars. You don’t leave out the glow of the freckles that smatter his face and body, don’t miss the smile that plays at his lips as he quietly points out that his dad had come from a star.
He flips again and different iterations and designs for what seems like jewelry litters the pages, shaded with different colors of blue and green, marked with varying notes, x’s marking through ideas you didn’t like.
Lo’ak remembers the pouch, sitting untouched in his lap, and his shaky fingers undo the ties. He shakes the contents on the flat of the notebook and the most intricate beadwork fits into the crease.
His eyes widen as he picks up the necklace in a trembling hand, the eclipsing sun catching the etching in the flat stones.
Four five-fingered hands and four four-fingered ones, each separated by jewels scavenged and cleaned from the bed of the glowing river.
A small scroll flutters from the pouch and Lo’ak chokes back as sob as he unrolls the hide.
Happy Birthday, Lo’ak. I am always grateful to know someone like you. May your next orbit be filled with endless blessings from Ewya and may you see yourself how I see you.
You see him, he realizes. You’re his supporter, a silent force that consumes every insecurity and swallows every doubt. You believe in him more than he believes in himself.
He stands from the hammock and runs.
Tumblr media
You’re sitting in the same tree the two of you had rested in the night you’d confided in Lo’ak, watching as the sun eclipses and begins to light up the sparkling forest.
Something rustles and you sit up, hand on the hilt of your dagger as you search the area for movement.
As your eyes lock on the source, you almost wish it had been a beast coming to devour you whole. But as Lo’ak climbs the branches of the tree quickly, you feel the dread begin to solidify in your veins.
You take your satchel, hanging from a nearby branch and sling it over your shoulder, pulling your shawl over your head to prepare for your escape.
“________, wait,” he chokes breathlessly. “Please.”
You feel like crying all over again, feel so unbelievably stupid thinking that Lo’ak would ever see you the way that you see him.
You pause a beat as he settles on the branch across from yours, chest heaving as he tries to catch his breath.
Something glints in the sun and your eyes widen when you see that Lo’ak has fastened the necklace you made him around his neck, right above the the leather chain that holds his beloved claw charm.
“You’re wearing it,” you whisper, lips twitching into a frown as you try your best to keep your tears at bay.
“I’m sorry, ________,” Lo’ak apologizes hoarsely. “Fuck, you don’t understand how sorry I am.”
The tears well on their own.
We’re not friends. We never were and we never will.
The words haunt you like a broken record and you shake your head, moving from your perch to move down the branches.
“Wait, wait,” Lo’ak pleads. “Please don’t go, I–”
“I hate you,” you whisper. “I hate you, Lo’ak.”
He freezes, watching as you balance on a branch below.
“I tried so hard to be your friend,” you whimper, angrily wiping away your tears. “You’re amazing. You’re strong, and you’re fearless, and you are everything I want to be, but you’re heartless.”
Lo’ak lets out a shuddering breath, a chill running down his spine as you look up at him like he’d smashed every star in the sky.
“I wanted to be with you, you know?” you let out a watery laugh. “I hoped that maybe if I stuck it out, you’d see how much I cared, how badly I wanted to be with you, even if it was from a distance.”
“I do, _________, I do!” he argues.
He hadn’t always, but he sees it now. He sees you.
You shake your head again.
“You don’t,” you sigh, voice trembling. “It’s my fault anyways. You were right. You told me to leave you alone and I was being too much.”
“Stop–”
“Let this be the last time,” you assure him. “Let’s just– Let’s pretend we never met.”
“No, _________. Wait!”
You’re climbing down the tree and disappearing into the brush and, like a fleck of ash, you’re disintegrating into nothingness.
Tumblr media
Most people think he’s being moody, that he’s just been scolded by his father or older brother, but Neytiri knows better.
She sees the way her son has changed over the course of the past few weeks. She knows there is a great burden that he carries, but much like her beloved and her eldest, he suffers in silence.
“Maitan,” she says quietly, brushing a braid from his face as he folds the leaves around a chunk of steaming meat.
Lo’ak pauses almost imperceptibly, but continues his task.
It isn’t like him to stay home and work with Neytiri. If anything, he’d be the first one out of the tent, Tuk, Spider, and Kiri tailing after him as they galavant through the endless forest.
“Something weighs heavy in your heart,” she tries again, hand coming over his.
Lo’ak stops and leans back, unable to meet his mother’s searching gaze.
“I hurt someone,” he says quietly.
Neytiri stiffens.
“What?”
“I hurt someone I care about,” Lo’ak admits. You’d called him fearless, strong. He needed to live by your word. “I hurt her and I don’t know how to fix it.”
“Oh, Lo’ak,” she murmurs, squeezing his hand gently.
Her face has softened as she takes in his stony expression.
“My son, some things cannot be fixed,” she says honestly. “But all things require great effort. Sometimes those efforts will fall through, but that is the natural order of life.”
Lo’ak swallows.
“Whoever this special person is, if you have hurt her, she deserves the full effort of your heart, no?”
You do, he knows you do. You deserve every last effort. But a niggling streak of insecurity tells him that you don’t deserve someone like him. You don’t deserve someone who takes your affections for granted. You deserve someone who will love you with every breath, who will love you fearlessly.
“I really messed things up, Mom,” Lo’ak says quietly. “I don’t…”
Neytiri’s hand comes to Lo’ak chest.
“The night I first met your father, Ewya gave me sign,” she says. “He has a pure, strong heart. You do too.”
Lo’ak swallows.
“Be brave, Maitan,” she says. “Sometimes that is enough.”
Tumblr media
Lo’ak’s fingers hurt from picking berries.
His cuticles bleed, pricked by the thorns of the fruit’s bush. Kiri hums beside him, weaving a little bag out of ropes of thin vines.
“You’re not gonna help me?” he whines.
“Why should I help you with your mess?”
Tumblr media
You look beautiful under the glow of the evening meal’s crackling fire. It’s the first time you’ve emerged since before Lo’ak’s birthday feast and you’re being flocked by elders and villagers, wishing you well and asking about your supposed ailment.
He sits across the fire, fists tight as he searches for a lull in the crowd.
Spider snickers next to him, devouring the contents of his plate like he’s starved, watching Lo’ak’s useless pining like a show.
Be brave.
He’s standing to his feet before he can back out, crossing the circle to approach you. The villagers watch like they know something he doesn’t and the nerves are eating away at him as he steps into your space.
You look up from your conversation with a girl your age, the smile slipping from your lips.
“Can we talk?” Lo’ak asks, eyes wandering to watch the way everyone watches him.
You remain jaded.
“Now’s not a good time,” you say quietly and a few onlookers snicker in the background. “________,” Lo’ak tries again.
You stare up at him, the shadow of the fire dancing over your features as you seemingly look right through him. It’s humiliating, the way you remain seated and watch him fidget, but he figures he deserves the cold shoulder after months, years of casting you to the side.
“Let’s go?” you ask the girl, nodding your head over your shoulder.
The girl chances a glance between you and Lo’ak, noticing the telltale sign of your work etched into the stones of the choker he hadn’t taken off since his birthday.
She gives him a sympathetic smile as she follows after you.
Tumblr media
He’s going to have to try a lot harder than he has, he realizes as your birthday looms right around the corner. The next eclipse, in fact.
He’s losing hope, losing courage, but he can’t give up on you two just yet.
He makes sure the berries he picked the days prior are packed tightly in his bag, the lid to the nectar fastened, and his present wrapped nicely.
It’s his last hope, his last shot to make things right.
Spider, Tuk, and Neytiri surround him, Neteyam and Jake off on a hunt.
They’d all been privy to the fact, aiding him in his endeavors as he organized his final grapple with your heart.
“Kiri said she’ll bring her right before eclipse,” Spider says, peeking from the flap of the tent. “That’s in, like, minutes.”
Lo’ak is nervous. Doesn’t know what he’ll do if he loses you for good, but he knows he has to give it his best effort. It’s the least you deserve.
Be brave. Sometimes that is enough.
Lo’ak glances at his mom and she gives him a warm smile, ruffling his braids.
“You are the son of Toruk Makto,” she assures him, pinching his cheek. “There is nothing you cannot do.”
The words are carved into his brain as he rushes through the forest, the the stream that the curls and bends through the forest. It glows beautifully at night and that is his final push.
“Wait, give me like three seconds, I left something.” Kiri’s voice is muffled behind the trees.
“Huh?” Lo’ak sees the way your head tilts through an opening in the foliage.
“I’ll only be a second!”
“Wait, Kiri!”
Kiri is running straight for him, comes barreling through the bushes, and continues down the path.
“Good luck, egghead!”
Lo’ak takes in a final breath to quell the tremor in his hands before ducking through the bushes to reveal himself.
You’re sitting on the embankment, on a woven mat that Kiri had laid out for you two, decorative vines edging the seams.
“Oh, you were–”
You peer over your shoulder and your expression falls.
“Lo’ak…”
“Happy birthday, ________,” he breathes.
You don’t look amused, slinging your bag over you shoulder as you rise to your feet.
“Kiri and I are hanging out,” you tell him.
He scratches the back of his head.
“I…I had Kiri bring you here because I knew that you wouldn’t come with me if I asked,” he admits. “And of course, I don’t blame you, but I– I just really need to talk to you.”
You bite the inside of your cheek, unable to look him in his eyes as he draws nearer.
“Just give me some time, please,” he pleads.
You finally meet his gaze, searching his eyes as he looks down at you earnestly.
You give him the tiniest nod, reluctantly shedding your satchel to reassume your seat on the mat.
The waters rush gently, like a song as Lo’ak lowers himself next to you.
His palms are clammy as he fidgets in his seat, the scent of herbs and flowers wafting from your dewy skin. He can’t bring himself to look at you, afraid that every sentiment he’d crafted in the hours of the night will escape him, so he watches the bubbling of the stream.
“Well?” you whisper, like you don’t want to shatter the fragile sheath of peace that layers you.
“I’m sorry,” he says quietly. “I know I’ve said it already, but I really am, ________.”
“I know,” you murmur and his gaze flits to yours. “Even if you don’t act like it, you have a good heart, Lo’ak. You feel everything, even the things you don’t want to.”
He swallows.
“I didn’t mean it,” he says carefully. “I was mad and I took it out on you. That wasn’t fair.”
You sit silently, knees hugged to your chest. Your cheek rests against your knee, watching Lo’ak with seeing eyes. It makes him trip over his words.
“My whole life, I’ve always been compared to Neteyam,” he says. “The entire village would whisper about me and how I was nothing like the mighty warrior.”
When he glances at you, he notices your fingers twitch, like you want to reach out to him.
He squashes his fears and turns to face you, five-fingered hand coming up to thread with your four. You watch the union, uncertainty obvious in the way you tense, but Lo’ak squeezes.
“And then when we started growing up, you were just another person I had to live up to,” Lo’ak whispers. “You’re perfect, ________. You’re kind, and you’re smart, talented. You’re everything I’m not and it made me hate you.”
You shrink, but Lo’ak pulls you towards him, hand coming up to brush your cheek.
“But you’re all of that and more,” he continues, the words gushing like a river. “You’re always there, you support me and you defend me and see things I don’t.”
You become shy under his gaze because for the first time, he’s seeing you. He’s seeing you for every single thing you’ve been to him and it makes your stomach knot.
“I have something to tell you,” he says. “Please don’t be mad at me.”
Your gaze is soft, palm still in his as he turns and reaches into the bag he discarded next to him. Your eyes widen when he produces your notebook, edges curled the slightest as he hands it to you.
“My journal,” you say, taking it from him quickly. “I’ve been looking for this. Why- Why do you have it?”
He looks guilty, lips rolling as he avoids your gaze.
“Did you…”
“I wasn’t going to,” he admits. “But there were woodsprites and I knew it was a s–”
“Lo’ak this is private,” you murmur incredulously. “Why would you read this?”
“How long, ________?” he asks quietly, grip on your hand tightening.
“Lo’ak, don’t–”
“How long?” he presses desperately.
Your eyes are watering, like that wicked night all over again and Lo’ak begs Eywa for the final push.
“Since we were ten,” you whisper brokenly. “It was my first performance and it was so stupid, but I was throwing up because I was nervous and you talked me through it.”
Lo’ak is stunned, the memory like the faintest of outlines.
“We didn’t even know each other that well,” you hiccup. “But you patted me on the back and you gave me this–”
You pull your fingers from his grasp and flip the journal to the last page, revealing a hidden pocket. Your nimble fingers pull a tattered string, the remnants of a vine, threaded with wilted flower petals, preserved from being pressed inside your notebook.
“You said that they made you make it during lessons,” you say, breath hitching. “That it’d be my good luck.”
He’d forgotten all about the memory completely, too caught up in driving whatever wedge he could between you two, building up walls to seal you out.
“And you kept it this whole time?” he asks, face scrunched in disbelief.
“I’d hold on to anything you give me,” you admit in defeat. “Heartbreak included.”
He lets out a shaky breath.
“________, I’m so sorry,” he repeats, hand coming up to your neck. “You have to know that. I’m really fucking stupid, but if you give us a shot, I won’t mess it up.”
Your hand comes up to his wrist, crumpling as you bow your head.
“Don’t do this to me,” you beg, moving to break away from him.
“Please.”
His hold tightens, other hand twining with yours.
“If I…if I give myself to you, I’m giving you everything,” you say hesitantly. “If you break this, you break me. I don’t think I can come back from this.”
Lo’ak presses his forehead to yours, breath warm against your lips as he searches your gaze for any semblance of hope.
“This is me being fearless, ________,” he whispers.
You melt, pressing your lips to his tentatively. He’s frozen for the shortest of moments before relenting, pushing up onto his knees to deepen the kiss.
He’s cradling your face and your hands are wandering and Lo’ak can’t help but think he could get used to loving you.
To being loved by you.
Tumblr media
BONUS
“I was gonna give it to you on your birthday,” Lo’ak says sheepishly a few nights later under the stars. “But, you know…”
Your usual place among the branches of the looming trees have a lot of memories both bitter and sweet, but you suppose you could make new ones.
“You don’t have to give me anything,” you say sweetly, tail swishing to wrap around his ankle. “You’re all I need.”
Lo’ak doesn’t think he’ll ever get used to your saccharine words if the pounding in his chest is anything to go by.
His hands are shaky as he pushes the hide towards you, a bow made of vine tied neatly around the gift.
“Wanted to,” he says simply, moving the hair from you face to see your reaction better. “Open it.”
You’re gentle with the present, like you are with most things, but eager to see what he’d gotten you.
A tiny gasp falls from your lips when you finally see it, wide eyes meeting his as you free the jars of paints he’d mashed up, the brushes he fashioned, and the brand new journal he bound himself.
“Lo’ak, wow…”
“So you can paint me more,” he says, then adds timidly. “Or maybe us. Maybe you could paint us.”
Tumblr media

KINKTOBER:Day 9 Accidental Stimulation W/ Lo’ak
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Warnings: Lo’ak being an asshole in the beginning, cursing, p in v, creampie.
Synopsis: Everyone around the clan stayed away from you in fear of getting hurt. You were clumsy, everything you touched was destroyed. So when you ask Neteyam for help with your iknimaya, the conversation doesn’t go as planned when lo’ak steps in.
Mdni🔞
You were what was known as “instant karma.” Everything you touched, you destroyed. You were just…really clumsy. So much so that everyone in the clan avoided you at ALL costs. It really started to hurt your feelings, not having any friends, or anyone to talk to. You really tried to be less clumsy, but nothing worked. And it made sense as to why you hadn’t completed your iknimaya, as much as you tried. It was hard for you. Especially since the last time when Jake had to catch you before plummeting to your death.
As hard as this task was, you weren’t one to give up, or quit. You were determined to pass this. And who better to help you than the future olo’eyktan? So when you saw him, his younger brother and his other friends conversing, you thought it would be the perfect opportunity to talk to him. Walking up to them, you could already sense a shift in their demeanors. All looking more frightened at your presence. But you were determined to walk out of this conversation without any casualties.
“Hey boys.” You spoke. Your voice sweet like honey and smooth like molasses. You were hot, no doubt about that. You had full hips, nice sized breasts, a small waist, and beauty to die for. However, you were just….so fucking dangerous, LITERALLY. They collectively took a step back from you before sighing a weak “hey” in response. You took a moment to smile before turning your attention to Neteyam.
“Teyam, can I talk to you for a moment?” You asked, fiddling with your fingers. His eyes widened, giving you a shady smile. “Uhh.” He started before grabbing lo’ak, placing his younger brother infront of him to act as a Shield. “Sure. Go ahead!” He spoke with alittle more enthusiasm this time. All of his friends began to chuckle amongst eachother, but lo’ak wasn’t having it.
“Bro, no way! I’m not getting kicked in the nuts again.” Lo’ak protested, shifting to neteyam’s side. A fair trade, If anything happened, they’d BOTH get it. You rolled your eyes, before shifting your body weight to one side. “I apologized for that already.” You pointed at lo’ak, hissing at him. “Yeah? It’s happened 7 times, clumsy bitch.” He rebuttaled, hissing back at you. His friends laughing in the background. Neteyam was guilty too, a small smirk appearing on his lips that he tried to wipe away.
You were usually one to stand up for yourself, everyone knew that. So it took lo’ak by surprise when your bottom lip started to quiver and tears began to well in your eyes. Your ears were flat to your skull, and your tail was now at a standstill. Your soul had been crushed. Not because he called you a bitch, but just EVERYTHING all at once. It hurt your feelings to know that everyone was against you.
Lo’aks demeanor softened greatly, watching a single tear trickle down your cheek. Maybe he took it too far this time. But before he could fix his mouth to apologize, you were turning away to walk off. “Oh, y/n! come on, he didn’t mean it! He’s a fucking idiot, you know that!” Neteyam shouted at your disappearing frame. “Y/n, im sorry! Come back, please!” Lo’ak shouted, watching you walk away. Both brothers sighed. “Go fucking apologize!” Neteyam muttered through gritted teeth as he slapped his brother on the back of the head. “Ouch! Fuck you! You laughed!” Lo’ak clapped back, pushing Neteyam in the chest.
“I did NOT dumbass! Go make sure she’s ok!” Neteyam hissed, pushing lo’ak in your direction. He stumbled a bit before gaining his composer. A loud groan rumbled in his chest as he began to follow behind you. You finally made it to your hut, a good cry on the way there. Boys were so stupid. And MEAN! but you wouldn’t let what lo’ak said ruin your entire day. After all, you weren’t done with your daily chores. You still had to take mo’at the paint that you made for your friends “rite of passage” ceremony. You were so happy for your friends, yet you still felt left out.
You grabbed the bowl full of paint, and began walking towards the exit of your hut. Unfortunately, lo’ak was walking in as you were walking out, and well….you know the rest.
His stomach, loincloth, and legs were PAINTED with the thick mixture. Lo’ak wasn’t a patient man, but it seemed as if he was trying his best to hold it together. His jaw was clenched, eyes shut, and deep heavy breaths escaped his flared nostrils. “I-I am so sorry lo’ak! I didn’t see you!” You rambled, shaky hand covering your agaped mouth.
“It’s fine, it’s fine. Just— do you have a towel I can borrow, y/n?” He spoke, in a surprisingly calm tone. You nodded frantically, running to get him a towel. When you were running back to him, you slipped on the paint, colliding with him. You both fell hard, a loud thud shaking the entire hut. Lo’ak let out a loud grunt at the impact, you falling directly ontop of him, nearly knocking the wind out of his lungs.
“Lo’ak I-“ you began, before he cut you off. “Bro, j-just get off of me!” He commanded, shuffling to get you off of him. “I-Im sorry, J-Just give me a- ugh!- give me a second!” You struggled, trying to sit up on him. You both were struggling, the paint making everything slippery and sticky. It was a mess, and it was all your fault.
You were finally able to use his chest to sit up on him, both of your sticky thighs caging his hips in. You were trying to lift off of him completely, but he just wouldn’t stop moving under you. Trying so desperately to thrust you off of him.
“Can you s-stop? I’m getting up!” You whined, trying to use his chest to stand up again, but it was no use. Your hands were sticking to his skin, and the ground below was too slippery to stand properly with his stupid tantrum underneath you. “Get up NOW.” He growled, thrusting up one good time. So hard that you could feel his bulge rub against your clothed cunt. You didn’t mean to, but a broken whimper escaped your lips at the sensation. His ears flicked at the sweet sound, his tail tapping the ground beneath him. He haulted his movements, studying your flushed face for a moment.
“I-Im sorry if I hurt you.” He stuttered, a soft expression painting his face. His strong hands found your waist, trying to lift you off of him gently. But you weren’t having it, gracefully slamming your hips back down on him. “Shittt.” Lo’ak grunted, watching you intently. “Grab my hips. Please.” You spoke breathily, expertly untying your top. He obliged quickly, grabbing your hips as he watched you throw your top to the side. Your plump breasts bounced with every subtle move, and he couldn’t keep his eyes off of them.
You began to grind on him, nice and slowly. Rocking your hips back and forth to feel that addictive friction again. Your sweet mewls began to arouse lo’ak even more than he already was. Using this as an opportunity to rock you all by himself, speeding up the pace.“Ohhh My God.” You whined, arousal escaping your loincloth. You threw your head back, following his rhythm.
“Imagine how good I’d feel inside. Just say the word.” He spoke, his melodic tone finding its way to your core, a gush of slick squirting out at his words. You nodded lazily, giving him the “ok” to continue further. Your fingers found your loincloth, playing with the strings until it was loose. You pulled it from under you lazily, throwing it to the side. Lo’ak doing the same. His cock slapped his stomach, a thick line of precum oozing out of the tip.
The paint on your bodies and the floor was drying quickly, which made it easy for you to shift to your feet, squatting over his erect penis. He grabbed the base, while you began to slide down on him. Both of you moaning simultaneously as he bottomed out with a firm thrust upwards. You began to fuck him, hard. Like it was your damn job. His hands found the plush of your ass, smacking it a few times before thrusting up into you rhythmically.
“That feels so good, y/n. Ride this dick.” He groaned, biting his bottom lip as he watched your dripping cunt meet his pelvis with every thrust. The squelching sounds, skin clapping, and broking whimpers only stimulating him further. “Lo’aaak!” You cried, voice rippling from the forceful thrusts. Your head went limp, as your moans became louder. Your hands planted on his chest for stability.
“I know, baby. I know. Fucking this pretty pussy just right, hmm?” He asked in between heavy breaths, watching your face twist and turn in pleasure. “M-Mhmm!” You nodded, bouncing on him hard enough for your ass to ripple at the impact.
“F-Fuuuck. I’m sorry for- uhh a-ahh!- for calling you a bitch. I’m sooo sorry.” He moaned, throwing his head back against the ground, still bouncing you on his cock. You squealed, nodding as a way of saying I forgive you. “It’s ok! I-It’s ok! I-I’m sorry for hurting you all the time, lo’ak!” You whimpered, shifting to your knees, using the new position to work his cock in the best ways possible.
“Ohhh Yes. Yess baby, just like that. You’re making up for it right now.” He moaned, smacking your ass, gripping it tightly. “I-Im gonna cum, gonna cum lo’ak!” You whined, eyes rolling to the back of your head. Your body began to shake, squirts of your slick presenting itself with every earth shattering stroke.
“Ohhh God, yes. C-Cum on this dick, y/n. Please, baby. Please give it to me.” He whimpered, feeling your walls vibrate around his shaft. He watched your pussy squirt, quickly rubbing circles Into your clit to stimulate your trembling body further. You screamed his name, before collapsing into him. Your sweaty, trembling body snuggling into his warm chest.
“Mhm, I’m almost done, baby. Fuuuuuck.” He groaned, both of his hands shifting to your ass once again, gripping the plush skin to bounce you on his sensitive cock.
“I’m gonna cum, y/n. I-I know I don’t deserve this pussy. Not the way I’ve been treating you. B-But I need it, please.” He confessed in your ear before pecking it teasingly.
“Y-you can have whatever you want from me.” You hiccuped, wrapping your arms around his neck as he pounded into you. He let out a loud moan at your words, eyes crossing in pleasure as his mouth fell agape. And before he knew it, small squirts of cum turned into ropes and ropes of it filling your empty womb.
“Yeahhh, juuuust like that. Thank you, baby. Thank you s-sooo much.” He moaned, snapping his hips up into you periodically to empty himself inside of you. “Mhm.” You hummed, fluttering in and out of consciousness on his chest. “Finally, you made me feel GOOD.” He joked, rubbing your back lovingly as you cooed in his embrace.

jake sully telling you to stop running away and take him when you’re overly stimulated while he’s not even near his orgasm?? yes pls i’ll def write it!! (⨳)
warnings - jake being jake obviously needs a warning itself, hellooo?? tummy pressing, pinning hands above head, forced orgasm, overstimulation, p in v, mean jake turns soft jake at the end but still we all love him, ehh idk what i missed so tell me ( grammar errors and typos ahead )
“‘s too much.” your words fell on deaf ears as your mate keeps rutting to you hard, knocking up your gut.
you’ve lost count of how many times you’d came through the time you both started to fuck. “j-jak-jake” you’d keep stuttering every time he thrusts up to you, “can’t get enough of this pussy, princess” he states.
“can’t get enough of you” he’d sneak his arms and wrap them around your waist before brining you up from the floor to his strong thighs. “no!” you whine when you feel him fully sink into your heat
jake would look down to where you both are connected and groan at the sight of your arousal all over his cock. “fuck, you’re taking me so well” he cusses holding you by your hips and pulling you up from his length to push you back in
at this point you’re nothing but his cocksleeve, jake ignores your pleas and keeps rutting to you like a monster. you gasp when you feel a bubble is about to burst in your tummy and shake your head knowing you’ll pass out if your mate won’t stop
not thinking of consequences, you slightly lift yourself up from his thighs but not fully for his cock to slip out and place your small hand on his pelvis, trying to push him off and that was a big mistake
“JAKE!?” you scream when he pulls you down forcefully. “where the fuck do you think you’re going?” he would hiss under his unstable breath and place you by your back, pressing your hips down to the floor.
you’ve now pissed jake on top of you, one hand claiming your tiny hands and pinning them above your head. “stop running away,” you feel his other hand push your left leg to the side for more access. “stop fucking running away and take it, take me”
you shake your head side to side as tears keep forming in your eyes. “it hurts,” you hear him scoff. “should’ve thought of that before being brat and pissing me off, lover girl”
you feel his hand that was holding your left leg slowly slide up to your tummy and once he was below your navel he only was needed to press lightly to feel how deep he was fucking your cervix. you did not even need to tell him you’re cumming as he felt you squeeze the day light out of his cock
“that’s it pretty girl, cum for me” he leans down to kiss your lids and wiping your tears with his hand that was pressing on your tummy, “fuck i’m so close” jake says making you gasp a sob out ‘finally’ you manage to think as your fogged mind processes what’s happening
you squeeze your eyes shut when you feel him bottom out to paint your walls nice and pretty. “so fucking gorgeous with my load in you” he would compliment you as you two try to ease your breath
finally being able to think straight, you feel jake pullout of you with a constant “shh, you did so well princess” and sweet nothings being whispered to your ears. after a while, you’re partially awake with hazy eyes as you watch jake press a warm and wet towel at your sex to clean you up
once everything was done, jake spoons you and keeps apologizing for making you cry, you hum knowing somehow it’s your fault for being a brat and trying to make him jealous with flirting with other men he doesn’t like. “i love you, pretty girl”
he’d only smile when you answer him with a soft purring as you’re technically sleeping.
boy OH BOY this is nothing but a cow shit 😭 sorry this ain’t what y’all expected :’)
like + reblog + comments are super appreciated and not pressured. i love each and everyone of you babies <3

Kind of niche but what would happen if Lo’ak had a twin sister that was his polar opposite (calm, a healer, rule follower) but always gets dragged along on his dumb adventures anyway lol
lo’ak x polar opposite twin
a/n: so basically a female version of neteyam 😭 | anyways, enjoy 🤍
masterlist
Tumblr media
neteyam was thrilled when he learned that his younger sibling is not just a sibling but siblings
obviously, lo’ak came out of neytiri first. the gene is strong, people
you followed closely behind your twin brother
since a youngling, jake and neytiri noticed how their twins are similar yet different in so many ways
for sure, you guys are both more expressive and emotionally intelligent than the other sullys
jake spots his oldest daughter comforting a hurting animal or her siblings every now and then.
when you were just a toddler, barely walking, you were wiping a tear off his face. he didn’t know whether to continue crying or jumping up and down
lo’ak is more expressive when he is fighting for what he love, and that is what he prioritizes. sadly, jake dismissed his actions now and then
for instance, when he was trying to prove himself that payakan isn’t a killer to jake, he was dismissed as a troublemaker :(
you guys are very protective of each other, despite trying to kill each other as a toddler💀
so like, neteyam, kiri, jake, and neytiri would play together on the hammock. and then there is you and lo’ak fighting for a piece of snack
definitely learned to babble bad words at each other at very young age
cuz y’know you gotta learn how to protect yourself
but twins can only get so similar…(yes, i know, the sixth sense and all of that but…)
you are calmer, a healer, and a rule follower
neteyam favored you a little more than lo’ak, just because you are a little bit calmer :(
your twin brother? quite the opposite…
very TURBULENT, a fighter, and a rule breaker *insert jake face palming here*
often many:
y/n: “lo’ak no!”
lo’ak: “lo’ak yes!”
“bitch!”
but he is your brother after all, you will follow him wherever it takes
so basically, dragging yourself into trouble everytime. and if you haven’t caught it yet, jake is not happy about this.
probably because lo’ak is just using you to lessen the trouble jake will get him if he sees his weakness, you.
doing those bargaining EVERY-TIME
“please, come with me, i promise to keep you safe!” he urged you as he pulled on your arm.
“no, i am not falling for your trick again, what will i get? nothing!”
“please, please, please, i promise i will be good, please, i’ll cover the chores for this month,” he begged you on the floor.
“…”
“please, my beloved sister, i am begging you, dad will kill me if i am caught alone,” he hugged your leg.
“pl-ease, you know how this will end, so why are you still doing it?”
“pleaseeeee, 3 months, 3 months i’ll cover your chores”
“fine…and you better get my ass out if dad caught us”
“yes, ma’am”
always cursing at him but at the same time following behind his trail
mumbling things like: “dad’s going to kill you” “i think i wanna go back” “i don’t think that is a good idea” “let’s not go in there”
sometimes eywa is on your side and you came back unharmed and “uncaught”
but sometimes it doesn’t get so lucky.
even though you guys seemed like you would be pushing the blame on each other, you actually love him too much to see him get the blame himself.
especially when you know he is neglected by your dad the most, you just wanna make him feel a little bit better.
of course, he is always compared to neteyam and you got it a little bit easier because jake is such a girl dad
lo’ak just need a little more love and you are there to remind him that you care for him
for instance, one time, you got caught wandering into the forest at night with lo’ak. JUST BECAUSE he wanted to impress a girl and go find some plant that only glows in the night-
jake was mad MAD
he was like:
“SIT DOWN!” he ordered you both, you quickly gathered your tail and whimpered down to the floor. lo’ak stared hardly at your dad.
“please, lo’ak, just-“ you tugged his leg.
“WHAT HAVE I TOLD YOU! AND WHY would you drag your sister into this!” he was breathing in and out quickly and he tried to calm himself down.
“i am so-“
“please, dad, it wasn’t his fault, i am-“
“oH, i don’t think so, please, sweetheart, stop taking blame for each other, for eywa’s sake!” he shouted with the back of his throat, trying not the make the situation worst. you whimpered in your spot as your ear dropped back.
jake will feel bad for shouting at you more than lo’ak, so eventually he just dismissed you both 🙁 (butitmeansthathisplanworked)
BUT you love your twin too much that you will patch him up every time
earning “ouch”s and “ow”s from your brother as you did his wound intentionally harsher than before
“why are you doing this on purpose!” “OW-!”
“please, i am tired of you breaking the rules, sorry, i have to fight fire with fire,” you dapped the cloth on his wound.
anyways, just two siblings trying to get along as a kid, but ended up being the most supportive to each other when they grow up.
got those “no you can not have my french fries, but you can have my liver if you are going to die.”
take care guys! stay hydrated! 🤍

giving you an orgasm : atwow headcanon
[jake, neytiri, tonowari, ronal, neteyam, lo’ak, kiri, tsireya, ao’nung] x fem!reader
smut … obviously
tag list: @gurlypopsstuff @lizziesfirstwife @nijirozzz @dumb-fawkin-bitch @areislol @philiasoul and also tagging @netesully
Tumblr media
jake:
⊹˖⁺ he wants you cumming around his dick. it's just so much more intimate and erotic to make you cum from his strategic hip thrusts.
⊹˖⁺ like he would stay in your pussy all day if he could. you just take him so well every time. just goes absolutely feral feeling you spasm around him, calling out his name, all of it
⊹˖⁺ coos you through your high, "that's it babygirl, give it all to me" and "you sound so pretty crying for me"
⊹˖⁺ likes to fuck down into you, while seeing every one of your expressions... so missionary is where he's at (don't get him wrong he loves spicing it up too)
⊹˖⁺ he's gonna let out the most guttural moans and grunts - omg and he knows it makes you crazy, clenching around him after every sound from him.
⊹˖⁺ it may make him just a litttttle cocky. "you're so dirty baby, i love it"
⊹˖⁺ likes to press the rough pad of his thumb straight onto your sensitive bud, making small circles as his thrusting slows slightly. just waiting for you to whine out for more
⊹˖⁺ i'm just saying - when he sees you shaking from pure pleasure when you do reach your high .. he's gonna wanna bust right there in you. ... AHHH breeding kink breeding kinkkkkkkkk
his hips snapped expertly straight into your sopping cunt as you frantically threw your arms around his neck. desperately tugging him closer to your face as pleading moans spilt past your lips. "j-jake" squeezing tight around his thick cock, he chuckles feeling the fluttering of your walls accompanied by your babbling cries.
"what is it baby? my cocks too much hmm?" he teases, a low grunt rumbling in his throat as your eyes roll back and your head bobbles to the side. unable to give him a response as he drops his large hand down to fondle your flushed clit.
“i know you love it though y/n, love having me fill you up mmh?”
neytiri:
⊹˖⁺ she wants to rip an orgasm out of you by her fingers
⊹˖⁺ the warmth of your wet heat actually makes her own pussy drip with arousal. it turns her on so much just absolutely abusing the spongy bundle of nerves of your g-spot.
⊹˖⁺ loves to shove her fingers into either her mouth or yours - after you cum, to taste your release (or she'll suck on her fingers, then shove them in your mouth to taste her)
⊹˖⁺ while she fingers you with such diligence, she's gonna take your nipples between her lips at least once, just absolutely making the pleasure heighten. suckling your hard nipples, lapping her tongue over the tip to tease you
⊹˖⁺ she definitely moans against the wet skin of your body as she falters her suckling AHHH
⊹˖⁺ and after she's done abusing your pussy, and the quivering from your orgasm dies down- neytiri is gonna lean down and press a soft kiss to your throbbing and soaked heat.
⊹˖⁺ thennnnnnn she's back up to kiss your lips, "you okay pretty girl?"
⊹˖⁺ she just gets so soft for you - she needs to ask if you're okay after the two of you finish having any form of sex
"you're practically sucking my fingers in baby." she purrs softly, a satisfied smile engraved across her cheeks. and you're quick to nod your head with eager, bringing your hand down to touch your throbbing clit. immediately resulting in neytiri slapping it away with her free hand, "ah - nope, you can't touch"
mewling out desperately from her working hand you give her a small frown - despite the glassed over eyes of pleasure you have. "this pussy belongs to me"
her words earn a staggered response of a nod and moan from you alongside a wiggle of your hips. "mmmh - yours..” you confirm without any hesitation. and neytiri gives you a proud gleam as she towers over your convulsing body. falling deeper in lust(love) with you at the sight and response of your obedience.
“that’s right my y/n”
tonowari:
⊹˖⁺ he wants to be straight between your thighs and eating you out and when you close your thighs around his head - he is going to let out the most MELODIC MOAN.!.! pleaseeee
⊹˖⁺ the man loves eating pussy, just absolutely making out with your heat ughhhh - lapping at all your juices, pressing his tongue flat against your folds, sucking your clit... omfg
⊹˖⁺ likes to rut into the bed/ground(or whatever he can)
⊹˖⁺ he's whipped - and gets so insanely hard from just pleasing you. he likes the pain of not receiving pleasure straight away ... loves being edged by you.. even when it's not on purpose
⊹˖⁺ switch... sub leaning - you cant change my mind. (or he's a service top ...)
⊹˖⁺ likes slipping his tongue in your warm entrance, with his nose pressed right on your clit AHHHHHH. "just can't get enough of you, this pussy... oh baby"
⊹˖⁺ please reach your hands down and pull his HAIRRRR... please please pleaseeeee his hips will literally rut up in response.. SO NEEDY
tightly shutting your eyes, you throw your head back with a lewd cry and a pronounced arch of your back. the sound of tonowari’s tongue slapping against the wetness of your core fills your ears and the blush only dusted across your cheeks, turns vibrant.
“w-wari, please” you whine out, fisting the hair of the large man settled down in between your legs. which leads into a vibrating sensation to wash over your heat as he moans from your tugging.
parting just for a couple seconds to speak, tonowari gulps down the remnants of your slick and looks up at you with hooded eyes.
“i’ll give you whatever you want y/n, just don’t quit pulling my hair” his words almost slur together as he felt in a daze, his raging cock grinding down into the matted flooring of your shared marui pod.
as he dives back to work, your hands embedded in his thick curly hair tug just slightly more as you pull him closer into your heat, his nose pressing up against your sensitive clit.
“oh-! tonowari.. ngh, don’t stop!”
ronal:
⊹˖⁺ she's gonna use whatever she can to fuck one out of you (strappppp onnnnnn)
⊹˖⁺ please, she loves a power dynamic with you... likes being a bitch .. only because she knows you love it
⊹˖⁺ likes to put you on her lap, so you can sink down on her. she's gonna STAREEEEE.!..!.!!!! just seeing her 'dick' disappear inside your pretty pussy makes her mind BUZZ
⊹˖⁺ the coolness of the sea glass strapon always makes your hips jolt at first in such a surprised sensation. and every time she'll just scoff at you and bite her lip
⊹˖⁺ slightly aggressive with her fondling.. she likes squeezing your boobs together and watching your eyebrows knit together
⊹˖⁺ loves when you're vocal with her, and talk dirty back. saying "your cocks t'so good" - or like, "you're stretching me out" with your little moans
⊹˖⁺ she'll literally melt but get so horny!! loves when you're comfortable enough to actually tease back at her.
⊹˖⁺ "my needy little girl, hmm?" a seductive laugh coming from her throat.
ronal smiles deviously below you as she gives a forceful thrust of her hips up into yours. the thick and curved stature of the strapon she keeps inserted inside your sopping cunt kisses your cervix as you cry out against the side of her face.
“oh fuck- so good” you pant out, the heat of your breath fanning down across the skin of her neck. your weak voice makes her hum out in approval as her hips swivel up into yours in a new rhythm and a strong grip of her large hands on your bouncing ass.
desperately rutting your hips down with a feverish effort, ronal’s eyes trail down the backside of your body, watching how your supple flesh squishes underside her hold. “is my cock making you feel good baby? mmh?”
turning your face to press a kiss to her jaw, you moan out loudly and give her a nod. “i’m so close, please don’t stop …”
neteyam:
⊹˖⁺ he wants to slurp up every last drop of your release, loves nibbling on your clit
⊹˖⁺ mighty warrior baby boy, physically drools when he becomes face to face with your pussy. no matter how many times he's gone down on you
⊹˖⁺ doesn't want to scare you off, but if you'd let him, he'd be between your thighs all day long... tasting you is a need for him, he gets so turned on having you on his tongue.
⊹˖⁺ the two of you both make so many whines and whimpers, you - being in such euphoria and neteyam - literally being pleasured by your juices.
⊹˖⁺ he's a biter. for sure. he loves to tease you before he even presses a soft kiss to your heat.
⊹˖⁺ gives you love bites all along your inner thighs, the smoothness of your body is so tempting to cover with his markings.
⊹˖⁺ and if you ever look past his erotic look sucking on your clit, you will ALWAYS see his tail almost wagging as it moves with satisfaction
the digging grip to your thighs and suction to your clit has had your back arched and neck practically snapping for the past moments of neteyam’s pleasuring abuse. his head dove between your legs, his tongue lapping desperately against the folds and the bud of your clit, his moans melting into your heat as he never ceases.
“my nete- OH!” you cry out feeling his teeth graze over your sensitive bundle of nerves, his tongue continually licking and twisting, not leaving any spot untouched.
your hips buck into his mouth and then pull back, causing neteyam to part, “baby…i can't get enough of you,” he says with a whiny tone as his grip to your thighs tightens with a little tug, pulling you back and even closer to his face. “just because you’ve came for me twice already doesn’t mean you’re allowed to leave yet” he huffs out watching your chest rise and fall “i'm not done.”
and finishing telling you how it is, he’s immediately down and eating you out again.
lo'ak:
⊹˖⁺ he's addicted to seeing his fingers gather all your slick, and feeling you clench around him
⊹˖⁺ it lowkey edges him, just from him imagining his fingers as his cock
⊹˖⁺ he's a horny boy, just one look from you with your eyes practically crossed and your mouth hung open in silent and airy cries has him holding his breath and shifting his hips. his cock pulsing with every sound and facial expression from you
⊹˖⁺ likes to put you between his legs with your back against his chest so he can play with your pussy like you would. snaking his arm across your chest a pinching at your perky nipples
⊹˖⁺ and in that position, his cock will THROB against your back as he tries to buck up for friction
⊹˖⁺ ultimately making you more turned on, and he can tell from the way you tighten around his digits
⊹˖⁺ takes after jake and coos you through your high, “you’re doing so well for me love” and, “do you feel how hard you make me baby?”
“fuck y/n” lo’ak grunts lowly into your ear from behind you.
pressed against his strong hot chest, your legs spread out for him, lo’ak’s large fingers dipped into the heat of your pussy pump in and out of you repeatedly at an addicting pace causing a ripple effect of needy sounds to fall from your lips
“your pretty moans are making me go crazy baby,” he lows out, his free hand switching from rubbing and pressing into your lower stomach, “can you feel how much you turn me on?”
his dirty question makes your head fall back against his shoulder, clenching around his digits as the pressure he puts on your lower abdomen creates a newfound pleasure. your eyes flutter shut welcoming the feeling, and truly recognizing lo’ak’s cock pressed hard against the base of your tail as his own arousal leaks from his tip and onto your back
nodding dumbly, you whimper out as your thighs start to tremble.
“you’re so h-hard… it’s so hot”
kiri:
⊹˖⁺ she also loves diving her hand down to fondle your pretty parts. feeling how wet you are makes her horny
⊹˖⁺ kiri loVES mutual masturbation... like yes she's going to pump her nimble fingers into your heat and pleasure you ... but she'll also crumble when you reciprocate her actions and tease her pussy back
⊹˖⁺ but when she's just focusing on you, kiri is gonna lay you out in front of her and just go to town
⊹˖⁺ likes to tease you and give you feathery touches around your pussy, and likes to squeeze your thighs as she gives your wet heat a cool blow of air
⊹˖⁺ she can’t help but let out a sweet and loving chuckle watching you cum around her fingers
⊹˖⁺ she’s just so in love with you and she’d give you the world if you asked
⊹˖⁺ kiri is incredibly dedicated to knowing how to pleasure your body, like every hitch of your breath and moan you let out from a different angle she hits at will automatically register and she’ll adapt immediately. #bestloverthings
the soft pads of kiri’s fingers trail down between your breasts, the feeling causes chills to roll throughout your system and your nipples to harden. the small gasp escaping from your mouth and wide eyes send kiri in a deep trance of your beauty.
“can i make you feel good, my y/n?” she asks with sincerity, her eyes blowing over with lust - and she already has you wiggling your hips in need of attention and friction. the slick of your arousal spreading to the inside of your thighs in a frantic anticipation of her touch
“please… kiri, i need you in me” you mumble out, as you bring up a hand to your mouth to nibble on the skin of your finger. and your brows knit together when she complies with your confirmation with her digits making their way to tease your inner thigh
her thumb rubbing circles against the soft skin, spreading the sticky wetness of your juices around. her other hand fully going down to lightly rub your throbbing clit.
the action erupts a throaty whine from you and a buck of your hips up into her touch
“you’re so pretty, i can’t wait to see you cumming for me”
tsireya:
⊹˖⁺ she takes after her dad, absolutely lured by the heat between your thighs. likes to mix your slick with her spit.. she gets a little messy
⊹˖⁺ her sweet voice whispers up to you with the most lewd sayings. (she wants to see your sweet face flush)
⊹˖⁺ "you know i always thought about eating you out before, when we were just friends... but being able to actually do it now is the most intoxicating thing i've ever experienced"
⊹˖⁺ please please rut up into her mouth so she has an excuse to give you a little slap to your outer thighs... before she completely pins them down.
⊹˖⁺ "come on pretty girl, i know you can take another"
⊹˖⁺ likes to make you cum at least two times before you pry her away from your pussy - but if you squirt around her …. don’t expect to get a break for a long while.
⊹˖⁺ she lOVES MAKING A MESSSSS PLEASE.. idc that she has a shy demeanor, she’s such a tease and sooooo dirty minded
“stop pulling away my love” tsireya chuckles out with a smile plastered across her dimpled cheeks, wrapping her hands around each of your ankles. “i’m still craving your taste”
clasping your shaking thighs together. the throbbing sensation of your pussy from the previous orgasm drives your heart rate up. and taking deep breaths, you mewl out feeling tsireya slide her hands from your ankles up to your knees.
hearing your sultry sound she pauses, humming out soothingly, “can you take another one?” she asks, making sure it’s okay for her to really continue her play time with your pussy
lifting your head up slightly to give her a knowing look, you sigh out with a playful roll of your eyes and a horribly hidden smile. slowly spreading your thighs apart once again, giving her a visual welcome to your heat - and when her eyes drop to take in the sight of your pussy again, you feel yourself clench around nothing in need.
“mmmh, yes… but i don’t think i’ll be able to talk by morning” you say with a tired laugh
ao’nung:
⊹˖⁺ he's gonna make you cum over his cock, it drives him insane just knowing he can pleasure you with just bouncing you on top of him
⊹˖⁺ he’ll give you all the sly smirks and low grunts as he watches you spasm over him in your straddling position with rutting hips.
⊹˖⁺ likes to guide you with a strong grip on your ass, spanking you slightly just to hear the small gasps escape your mouth.
⊹˖⁺ tbh i think he really just wants to let you do all the work as he sits back and enjoys the show - but at the same time he wants to pound into from below, and have you topple over him and let out your moans right in the crook of his neck.
⊹˖⁺ “fuck, y/n you cant even think straight enough to bounce on my cock by yourself” he groans out, creating slapping noises with the repetitive and forceful thrusts into your wet cunt.
⊹˖⁺ he might pull out of you just so you can beg for him to put it back in … he likes it when you beg AHHH , he’s into the slight power play as well
⊹˖⁺ and he’ll go either way with it too - be an absolute douche to you - or be your bitch to use to your advantage… he’s hard for it either way
your thighs burn with the constant bouncing of your ass onto the thick cock of your mate.
moaning out over and over, your volume slowly raises as you feel your insides spasm with pleasure. “shhhh”, ao’nung hushes you quietly with a grab of your jaw, his hand covering your panting mouth. smirking up at you, ao’nung brings his bottom lip in between his teeth with a low grunt from his throat. “baby- i know i make you feel so good, but you’ve got to keep quiet”
nodding your head the best you can in the hold of his large hand over your mouth, your eyes roll back with a muffled whimper when he gives a thrust up into your pussy.
hitting the hidden spongey nerves inside your velvety walls, your legs tremble with pleasure and your knees buckle. causing you to fall forward into ao’nung’s neck as his hold on your face falters. “harder… please, please-“ you chant hushed like, your lips pressed against his skin, your whole body shaking as his hips then begin to continuously rut up into you
“my helpless little girl”

Hate Sex
Lo’ak x Fem!Navi!Reader
kinkmas masterlist
Tumblr media
warnings: 18+ MDNI!, p in v, dubcon, mean lo’ak, very spoiled/bratty reader, one use of Y/n.
translations:
Lo’ak observed you from afar, his eyes narrowing at your disgusted face.
To him, it was like you always had a look of disgust on your face, that or smugness.
Eywa, he couldn’t stand you.
Golden girl, to everyone else.
To him? Spoiled brat.
Your eyes flickered over to him, making him tilt his head at you.
You dramatically roll your eyes, waving at him sarcastically.
It was his turn to have a look of disgust now, turning right back around and walking away.
Hours later, he’s approached by Neteyam, who had his face screwed up in something of anger.
“Bro, what the fuck is wrong with you?” Neteyam began, with a slap to the back of Lo’ak’s head
Neteyam was met with a hiss from his brother, whose eyes widened at him.
“What? What happened?” Lo’ak whipped around, his eyebrows furrowed as he looked at Neteyam
“Y/n said you were giving her dirty looks, you skxawng.” Neteyam whispered
“Oh my fuck-“ Lo’ak rolled his eyes “You’re so whipped for her.”
“No- That’s not the point. Why can’t you just leave her alone, Lo’ak?” Neteyam hissed
“Neteyam, she quite literally has you completely wrapped around her little finger, I’m surprised you can’t see that, of all people.” Lo’ak gave him a nasty look
“If you would actually take the time to even be around her, maybe you wouldn’t have a stick up your ass every time she comes around you.” Neteyam suggested
“I don’t have to like her.” Lo’ak seethed
“That’s no reason to be an asshole.” Neteyam shot back “You’re going to apologize to her, for everything, or I’m telling dad.”
Lo’ak rolled his eyes, Neteyam being upset was one thing, but their father? “Fine.”
“Now, Skxawng!” Neteyam pointed in the direction from where he came
Lo’ak pushed past Neteyam, grumbling about how you had him pussy whipped.
He found you soon after. Sitting down by a stream, your head thrown back with your eyes closed.
“Out here all alone?” His voice made you flinch, looking back to see him with his arms crossed
“What do you want?” You bitterly spit “What’s your problem with me?”
Lo’ak rolls his eyes, “You’re a spoiled bitch.”
“I’m not!” You whine, your head lolling down
“You are. And you’re so fucking dramatic! I glanced at you and you went and told on me to my fucking brother? The fuck is wrong with you?” He spat, squatting down next to you
“You’re the dramatic one.” You rolled your eyes, “And it’s not my fault Neteyam wants you to be a decent person.”
“So when you decided to talk about me with my brother, was that before or after you sucked his dick?” Lo’ak spat
You peeked up at him, a cocky smirk on your face. “You’re so cute when you’re mad.”
Without any warning, he’s taken you by your throat and you’re shoved flat against the ground.
You cry out, trying to pry his hands off of you. “Lo’ak! Let me go!” You choke out
“After you apologize.” He grunted, shoving your head into the mossy grass
“You’re so dead!” You whine “I’m gonna tell your fucking dad I swear to Eywa!” Tears slip from tour eyes
“Where’s the big and bad attitude now, huh?” Lo’ak smirked, using his free hand to wipe your tears
“Lo’ak, stop! I’m sorry!” You try to plead
“Nah, you’re not fuckin’ sorry.” He growled, squeezing your throat tighter
You cry out, “Lo’ak please!”
His grip loosens, his lips quirk up into a smirk as he watches the tears flood your eyes.
He lets go of your neck, taking you by the chin and pulling you up to face him.
“I hate you.” You spit at him
“Whatever you believe, princess.” He rolled his eyes
In a clash and messy mix of lips, teeth, tongues, and saliva, maybe you could call it a kiss.
His lips were hard against yours, practically trying to swallow your face as he ripped your loincloth off.
He pulls away roughly, his hand finding your throat and holding it tightly, “Tell me, did you suck my brother’s dick. Don’t fuckin’ lie to me.”
“Like I would tell you.” You laugh, a demeaning laugh.
His eyes darken, making your smile drop, you try to back away from him but somehow you also can’t move.
You sit there, trembling with fear as he towers over you, a cruel smirk playing on his lips. You can feel the hatred radiating off of him, directed towards you. But you can't move, can't run away. You're trapped in this room with him, and you know what's coming. You've seen the look in his eyes before, the same look that he has now as he grabs you roughly by the arm and pulls you towards him.
"You think you're so special, don't you?" He sneers, his grip on your arm tightening. "You think you can just walk around here like you own the place?"
You open your mouth to protest, but before you can speak, he slams his lips against yours in a brutal kiss. His tongue forces its way into your mouth, exploring every inch hungrily. You try to push him away, but he just laughs and tightens his hold on you. You can taste the anger and hatred on his lips, and it only fuels your fear.
His hands roam over your body, squeezing and groping roughly. You try to push him away again, but he just laughs and pins your arms above your head.
"I hate you," he growls, his hot breath tickling your ear. "And I'm going to show you just how much."
You can feel his arousal pressing against your stomach, and despite your fear and disgust, your body responds. You hate yourself for it, but you can't deny the desire that courses through you. He notices and smirks, knowing that he has the upper hand.
He runs his hands over your body, his touch rough and possessive. You feel like you're nothing but an object to him, something to be used and discarded.
He shoves you down into the ground, and you let out a cry as the impact jars your body. He doesn't waste any time, climbing on top of you and pulling your legs apart.
“Lo’ak, stop!” You struggle, but he's too strong, and you can feel the panic rising in your chest.
“Stop pretending like you don’t want it.” Lo’ak growled
He enters you with one hard thrust, and you gasp in pain. He doesn't give you a chance to adjust, instead setting a punishing pace as he pounds into you. You can feel every thrust deep in your core, and despite your fear and disgust, your body responds to the pleasure.
He grabs your hair and pulls your head back, forcing you to look him in the eye. You can see the hatred and anger burning in his gaze, and it only makes your fear and arousal heighten. He leans down to whisper in your ear, his voice dripping with venom.
"You're nothing," He snarls. "Just a worthless slut who deserves to be treated like this."
His words cut deep, and you can feel the tears prickling at the corners of your eyes. You don't want this, don't want him, but you're powerless to stop him. He's in control, and he knows it.
He continues to thrust into you with brutal force, and you can feel your body nearing its breaking point. Your mind is screaming for you to fight back, to get away from him, but your body betrays you as it responds to his touch.
You can feel the familiar coil of pleasure building in your stomach, and you try to fight it, not wanting to give him the satisfaction.
“You’re gonna cum for me, aren’t you? Such a nasty little slut, cumming in my cock like you’re in heat.” He degraded
“No!” You cry out a lie
But he's relentless, and with one final thrust, you shatter under him. Your body convulses with pleasure, and you can hear him laughing triumphantly above you.
“It’s my turn. This sweet little pussy is gonna make me cum right now.” He groaned “Gonna cum inside!”
Like it was instinct, your legs wrap around him, completely preventing him from pulling out even if he wanted to.
“Giving in? You want me to pump this pussy full of my cum, don’t you?” He grunted, and finally spilled into you
Tears stream down your face as his body collapses onto yours.
“You’re mine now, you hear me?” He growled into your ear, “And I’m gonna make sure of that.”
You two lay there for what feels like hours, tears streaming down your face as you try to process what just happened. You hate him, hate what he did to you, but a part of you can't help but feel a twisted sense of pleasure at the thought of his rough touch.

Heyyy so I saw your requests post and I’ve been dying to get this one off my chest, so how about a neteyam x omaticaya! warrior! reader where reader’s a fierce warrior (maybe a protege of one of the higher ups). And we all know Neteyam (the mighty warrior lol) is strong and also one of the best their age, but what if Neteyam had such intense feelings for her that all he wants to do is impress her but whenever she comes around he gets all klutzy and flustered? And of course she finds it funny and cute and all that jazz. Just fluff I NEED FLUFF
P.s. The decision to fulfill this request is yours and I won’t be upset if you decide you don’t want to. As long as you’re comfortable, all’s fine by me.
But yeaaa have a good day/night :)
Authors note:
Hi babes!
So I loved this request so much! So I decided to make my very first actual long series! ‘Virago’ is going to be an original work and one of my first long projects. Unfortunately, I will not have a TON of time to do smaller requests in between chapters but i will def try! I’m very excited for this and i wouldn't have even considered this without the request so thank you so, so much.

Neteyam and reader having a sun x moon relationship (hello 'diaphanous’ readers <3)

Extra info:
Y/n is one year younger than neteyam, the first part of this chapter is a flashback to when y/n was 15. Kiri, Lo’ak and Tuk are the agesthey are in atwow for the first part of the story. They age up in part 2 (in story)

☾𖤓✮⋆⁺₊⋆ ☾𖤓 ⋆⁺₊⋆☾𖤓✮⋆⁺₊⋆ ☾𖤓 ⋆⁺₊⋆
To some, surrender was a comfort. A sanctuary of softly spoken submission.
To Y/n? It was a ‘bitch move’
Day the sky people returned.
Y/n is 15-16
The Na’vi say, every person is born twice.
That we can redeem ourselves in the eyes of the great mother.
That being truly evil doesn't mean just craving the pain of others.
That the life of a single diseased root does not kill the whole tree.
That darkness is deadly, because like the brothers and sisters of bountiful green that dwell in the great mother’s garden, we too need sunlight to grow.
Your mother always told you monsters aren't born from a seed.
They grow when they are deprived of light.
But sometimes, we find solace in even the darkest of places.
That sometimes there's comfort in the dense night. Where others see hell, you build a home.
Sometimes we thrive in darkness because we feel we do not deserve the glory of sunlight.
Is it wrong? Is it terrible of you?
To see light where the great mother’s grace and the violence of the sky demons collide?
Things that were not meant to tear the ground of our great mother’s delicate skin.
Their metals and turning wheels, their combat boots and weapons that scream and spit fire.
But did it belong in your hands?
Your father would say,
“Each person is a thread, weaved within a tapestry that tells a story.”
The thing about stories is that sometimes, they may not always end well, or worse, they end too early. Some people stretch the thread as far as they can, too unsettled to be spread too thin, too soon.
Change is fundamental. Mo’at reminded you “there is no death, only change”
A moral structure that refuses to be severed. You believe that's whats what distincts na’vi from the sky people. Humans are quite flawed creatures. Humans love to dream and dance about stars and rain because their planet refuses to cry for them any longer. Humans dwell with memories that are haunted with light that only exists in the past, lingering behind desire to relive. Humans are afraid of grief, or loss. Of the empty void that lingers behind the shadows. Humans love to selfishly cling to the fantasy they don't live in.
You will never understand why they put themselves through such violent tendencies. To torture themselves. To provide reach towards an unseen daydream just to rip it out of their hands.
Humans remain. Na’vi evolve.
Na’vi find solace within the endless sky. Burning with color, blazing infinite. Na’vi dance on the precipice of the clouds.
Grief came over like the waves grazing the tide, promising reassurance and return.
Violence was never a necessity. A lingering intrusion of a spark that refused to become a flame.
But what lies beyond the sky? Was there truly a shadow behind the sun?
When the embers refused to settle.
You found yourself infatuated with open spaces. Abundance found within indecipherable notions.
Cracks in the mountains. Small tears in the tapestry where light leaked through the canopy of the trees.
Nothingness was never a threat.
Not when the promise of warmth remained.
☾𖤓✮⋆⁺₊⋆ ☾𖤓 ⋆⁺₊⋆☾𖤓✮⋆⁺₊⋆ ☾𖤓 ⋆⁺₊⋆
Y/n met grief when she was only a child.
When she was 15, the RDA returned.
The day the sky turned red was the day the air smelled of sulfur and blood.
Gray and red were never a pretty combination.
The demon ship’s wings stirred the trees and a storm of dust arise,
Screaming, everyone running, the distant screeches of ikran and war cries.
The night your parents went out to gather some herbs, and never returned.
When the pale light of the moon became a blazing, scorching, blanket of blankness that simmered into a forest engulfed in white flames.
You found your mothers songcord on the ground the next morning.
Her body stained with red.
You stood next to Neteyam at your parent’s funeral.
You watched as Mo’ats hands guided the delicate floating Atokirina to rest upon your mothers chest as she murmured a prayer.
People have this inherent conception that the hardest part of grief is change.
The loss of warmth in the safest of places, when the shadows loom rather than live.
In reality, it's this unnamed feeling of a void.
Love is the amplification of a connection. Love distracts. It paralyzes you within its sanctuary of promises.
Grief feels like a shield with a hole blown through the middle. When the connection is shattered, and the sky is no longer protected without the scattered solace of the stars to veil the blank spaces.
Emptiness no longer infatuated you.
The sky without the stars is not a mystery anymore.
Neteyam held your hand. It didn't aid the hollowness within the cup of your palm. Guilt revenues in a realization, that even the great mother’s solace could not soothe this wound. This ache. This pain.
Neytiri’s soft sobs scorch the air with a soreness, the morning mist. Her fingertips, victims of bow strings and arrowhead edges gently brush the flowers placed around your mothers body.
Neytiri was your mother’s sister. Not biologically. Preservations in our blood don’t always remain unsevered when a bond is born.
Your mother sobbed with her when hometree collapsed. Helped unbraid her hair for her night with Jake. Your mother had saved Neytiri’s life.
All those years ago when the RDA invaded Grace's school. When her body trembled at the sight of sylwanins blood that painted the floor and the walls, your mother walling as she desperately tried to drag Neytiri away.
To have such a bond. The heartbeat of one another emplaced in your bones, to sing a goodbye song with cruel unmeasured melodies.
Jake held neytiri, gently rubbing circles onto her back, his own grievances had been paid due to earlier.
Kiri’s tear stained cheeks didnt go unnoticed. She stood close to her father, Tuk’s tiny body squished between them as Kiri sobbed into Jake's shoulder . Kiri had always admired your mother. Chasing her shadow like wisp catching the breeze ever since she was a child. A woman of eywa. A healer. A hunter. Her heartbeat reserved for her home. Her people. Her daughter.
Lo’ak had placed his own tribute to the small spread laid out before the gently laid corpses.
A small carved arrowhead.
Your father took over your mother’s job when she had other jobs to attend to, as being the one who trained a young group of warriors. Lo’ak included. He was patient with Lo’ak. Never discouraged him. A father liek mentorship had bloomed. So when his time came to join the great mother, Lo’ak contributed his own item of remembrance.
Lo’ak gave his arrowhead.
Tuk gave a small flower.
Kiri gave a small bundle of herbs the omaticaya believed was to aid the departing spirit on their journey.
Neytiri added a few carved beads from an anklet she wore. One your mother, Neytiri and Sylwanin had shared over the years, each of the three contributing beads or small trinkets to the piece.
Jake gave some beads as well. From a necklace your mother helped him make Neytiri when he struggled with the stringing of the oddly-shaped beads back when Jake was training for iknimiya, attempting to woo the young blue-skinned warrior he knew as neytiri.
All the omaticaya came to bear their gifts. Neteyam included, who gave you the gift of his warmth.
He cradled your hand in his, he raised it to his chest when the roots covered your parents bodies.
You’ve loved Neteyam for many years now. Watching him grow from a boy to a man.
You grew up next to the sullys. Your heights measured next to theirs as a child. Neteyam, Lo’ak, Kiri, even little tuk had built a circle around you. You were a part of their lives. They were  piece of yours.
You found him in an irregular-shaped void in your heart that only he could fit in. Nights were filled of him. His voice. His eyes. His hands. The curve of his nose and the coves of his lips.
His voice was made of tender summers. His eyes were liquid gold.
You saw him. You truly, truly saw him. Not the evascent shell of the perfect warrior or son made of stone.
You saw him in the bleak day and in the night. When reality rivaled your thoughts of him, when the warmth of his touch seemed ephemeral, the invisible interstellar you swore was not a figment of your fantasies. You settled yourself from afar. Sullied yourself with stains of shame from the secrets you kept from him. The thousands of words you harbored, right next to the stars you swore you would steal for him.
This unrepeatable pattern became tiring, something you yearned to touch but your hands couldnt reach.
To tug on the silver string that dangled from this disguise he wore. This mask. This ruse of your heart.
He was to find the perfect mate. The perfect woman, A women to be the closest to an eywa incarnate. That wasn’t you. That could never be you.
Perfect with no edges. No uncalled for curves ad no outward coves.
So you settled once again with the itching of your palms and the aching of your heart.
He was not yours.
Distance became a familiarity because distance was safe.
There was a time where the itching in your palms screamec for his. Now, his had felt hollow as it held yours now.
Grief was a funny thing.
You stood here, your skin feels more like a shell. Your mirror feels more like a window.
Staring at yourself with pity.
Such a weak thing she is.
Sobbing.
What once was warmth and abundant is now hollow and overcast by anguish.
You start to resonate with the corpses that once rested in your line of sight before the roots of the tree engulfed them.
Why is it that the sunlight denies you shelter?
Why must your whole become hollow? The ashes of what it once was line a new path.
Is the sun falling? Have the stars collapsed? Will anyone catch them for you?
What is this? This pain? This agony? Why must it overcast your morals? Your rationality of peace? This homage harbors the resdiual of what little warmth is salvaged from this sunset of black.
You feel the merciless fire in your veins. You want revenge. The cage of a Phoenix becomes an eternity of warmth.
Even with neteyam at your side, the stars are falling. And the sunlight feels cold.

Later that evening, the clan settled after Jake announced that his clan had to relocate to the Hallelujah mountains, where everyone would rebuild a stronghold and dwell with the loyal humans. To avoid any more bloodshed, Where the humans couldn't find you.
You sat in the Sully’s Marui, Neytiri behind you as you sat infront of the fire.
She rebraided your hair. You had mo’at and kiri unbraided for the funeral. Neytiri’s soft humming soothes you a bit, but your hands haven’t ceased their small tremors of shaking.
She gently runs her hands through your locks, placing a few beads on each braid.
Th hut is silent, Neteyam sits in the corner, he hasn’t spoken since after the funeral.
Tuk perches on Jakes lap asleep, Kiri at your side, rubbing your back. Lo’ak sat on the other side of you, resting his head on your shoulder.
“My sweet”
Neytiri’s melodic whisper whisked through the heavy gray.
“We leave in a few days time, at first light for our new home,”
She paused, her thought lingering behind a wall of hesitation, she exchanges a look with Jake, who nods at her, gently taking tuk of his lap for a moment,
“Y/n, hon, with what's occurred..-”
He waved one hand around, flicking his wrist against the air to try and demonstrate some kind of invisible concept.
But you know he was referring to your parents deaths.
“We don’t think you should be alone.” Jake adds. Neteyam nods with his dad’s words, attempting to gain some kind of partaking in this conversation without speaking.
Neytiri rests her hand on your shoulder, making Lo’ak lift his head to peer at you.
“What are you saying?”
It comes out as a breath, the unveiled remnants of the traumatic experience you had endured still fresh on your still-processing mind.
“Ma yawntu…We want you to stay with us when we settle in our new home. To stay in our home. We can take care of you.”
The warmth of the fire feels pale for a moment. I’ts vulnerability. Its shallow. Yet, Its deep, and dark, and you can’t see the bottom. Your’e left unguarded for a moment.
“I’ll be fine on my own-“
You pause when you realize how hoarse your voice sounds. you clear your throat, your gaze meeting Jake’s. His eyes soften a you an you can tell its pity. Something you would have considered affection becomes an insult. A weakness.
“I’ll be okay. I’m not helpless. I can provide for myself.”
Jake sighs and shakes his head, his words calm.
“Y/n. I know you are strong. Hell, youre one of the strongest i know, kid. But This is not something we’re going to let you carry alone, I made-”
He pauses, taking a breath, his head tilting down a bit and his eyes squeezing shut before he raises his head to continue.
“I made a promise. To the people. To the clan. To keep everyone safe. And to your parents, we would look out for you if anything ever happened.”
The lump in your throat is dry as you swallow.
Neytiri kisses your head gently.
“Ma yawntu, we will look after you..we will guide you on this path.”
She gently guides you to look at her bow in the corner.
“My father. He gave me that bow as he laid dying.”
The air becomes thick, even the moonlight seems to freeze with its slow creeping up the wall.
The only sound is the soft 3-beat melody of Tu’ks soft breathing as she sleeps, but her heavy eyes flutter open now and then as she nuzzles into jakes side.
Neytiri squeezes her hand on your shoulder to keep her voice from breaking, her chest tightening.
“He told me to protect the people.”
The pain in her voice breaks through the cracks in the walls that kept the shadows out, cages that kept the anger in.
“I owed your mother my life. I could not protect Zensira.
I have let the demons take another from me.”
The red in her voice stained the shadows behind ehr words, the sharp syllables in ‘demons’ evident, Kiri closed her eyes and winced at her mothers words, still holding your hand.
She took a breath and gazed at you.
“But yawntu, i will not let them take you. I will protect you. You have always been one of my own at heart. The skyships will not take that from us.
The familiar sting you felt only a few hours ago returned to your eyes along with the ache in your chest.
Jake nodded.
“We can be stronger together, Y/n. Let us look after you.”
The wisp of shallow aches still burn behind your heart but you nod, silently.
Lo’ak smiles in an attempt to lighten the load.
“Just like old times, sis. We used to have sleepovers all the time, now we get to have them every day.”
Neytiri was about to scold Lo’ak for his bluntness until she heard you chuckle,
Tuk’s big eyes blinked open as her tired voice mumbled.
“Now you can play with me more..and braid my hair..”
She mumbes as she smiles to herself. Jake chuckles and ruffles her short braids.
Kiri squeezes your hand and Neteyam’s gaze hasn’t left you since the beginning of the conversation.
You took a walk that night, creeping around the hammocks of the sleeping sully family as you quietly ventured outside the small camp village.
You stand under a tree, the moonlight leaks through the canopy as you start to count the stars. You wondered how the sky and the heavens could still be standing when your whole world had collapsed around you just earlier that day.
When you were small your mother wouldtell you not to pull pn the loose thread of her tapestries she wove. Because the more you pull, the fasfter it will fall apart.
Thats how you felt. One loose string being mercilessly tugged and and all the colors were fading away, you chased them, you chased them along with the falling stars but no one caught them for you.
Your heart has been thieved. Your light has been stolen.
Sin and soul seem to have a war under your skin, and the soft lllabies of the creatures of your planet seem to have more of a shriek-like quality.
Why did the colors go away?
Did they chase you to the place i cannot follow when you went away?
“Y/n.”
You jump slightly, the chill in the pale air becoming a prick of awarness as you reach for the knife on your hip, turning around quikcly.
Neteyam stands before you, his wooded-honeyed scent fills your nose, you blink as a breath of his name leaves your lips.
“Neteyam-
Oh Neteyam you scared me, you asshole.”
Usually he would have laughed. But not today, not with the shadow that looms.
He gently touches your arm.
“I’m sorry, truly-
What are you doing awake? Are you hurt? Are you in pain? Did something-
Did someone-”
You laugh at him. But its bitter and its thin. Its forced.
“For eywas sake why does everyone think i am the weak link suddenly-
I am fine. Stop looking at me like i am wounded-”
Neteyam cuts you off.
“Y/n, i would never think such a thing about you, ever. You know this. I want you safe, you can’t expect me not to be concerned when you wonder off in the middle of the night, syulang”
The nickname from whe you were children is a warm familiarity at the least.
You huff and lean against the tree bark.
“I just needed air.”
Its small and muttered.
A shaky breath left your lips.
“I’m trying to find ways to endure my own thoughts.”
Neteyams eyes soften as he steps forward, he gently takes a place y beside you, back against the tree as he stands next to you. Your hand brushes his, but your fingers refuse to interlace.
The two of you stared up at the stars for a moment.
“Teyam?
“Yes?”
“Do you think it’s ungrateful to feel as if you have nothing, even when others orrond you with love and promises?”
“I’m not sure I follow…”
“Is it wrong to feel alone when your in the arms of others?”
As it falls into place for neteyam, he gazes at you as if you were a mystery in the moonlight.
He tries to see past your walls, to place himself in your shadow.
He glances at you, then back up at the sky.
“No. It’s not ungrateful. I think we’re all born with some sort of circle around us.”
You pause for a moment, looking over at him.
“A circle?”
He nods.
“A circle. The people we love and care for? the people we would do anything for? The people who make our home, they all belong inside our circle.
My father, my mother, Lo’ak, Tuk, Kiri, they're all a part of my circle.”
He pauses for a moment, his tail swishing behind him.
“And…you are too. You’re apart of my circle, Y/n.”
You gaze at him and he withers under your eyes, averting his eyes and fidgeting with his necklace.
After a moment, he speaks again.
“I can’t imagine loosing people in that circle…things must become so…empty. As if the world seems too small all of the sudden.
So no, it’s not selfish to feel alone when that circle is gone.”
His words spark comfort. The hollowness within your palm seems less heavy.
“Thank you.”
You whisper, and he nods at you.
“You don’t have to be alone, y/n. My family…when they spoke to you tonight about staying with us when we travel to the mountains, it was not because there’s a need to replace what you once had. Y/n, we want you to embrace this new circle-“
“What if I’m not ready to find a new circle?”
The vehement tone you were bearning stunned neteyam for a moment.
“Your mother was right. The sky people will take, and they will kill, and they will hunt, until everything under the sky of pandora is either dead or theirs..”
Your eyes hardened for a moment and Neteyam was still as he took in your words.
You look up at the moon once more; taking a breath.
“I do not wish to fear them anymore, Neteyam.
I want them to be the ones who fear us.”
There was a new found devotion in your heart.
A bitter song of  fire and desolation.
Vengeance.
Each note a new mockery of blood and ash. Every chorus an unfamiliar revelry of hunger.
That night, under the fallen stars and the cold moonlight, the inextinguishable plotted purpose was born within you.
Neteyam sighed; his gaze fitting back to the moon.
“And so you will..”
No.
Don’t.
I don’t want to loose you in the fire.
But he didn’t dare speak it aloud.
After a moment, he spoke again.
“I have something for you.”
He felt his heart flutter when your eyes met his.
He reached into the pocket of his loincloth.
“It was a gift I planned on giving during the ceremony.”
You felt twitch of anguish as you recalled the memory.
“You already contributed your gift..you gave that armband my father taught you how to weave.”
He gave you a tender look. The kind whispered in the solace of summer and soft secrets.
“It is for you. Not for your loss.”
His words unclouded a new warmth in your chest.
For a moment, your anger ceased to simmer.
“I made this, for you a long while ago..but I never found the right time to give it to you.
Then..the incident happened and I knew it wasn’t a good time..I was planning on giving it to you on this day..but the plans changed.”
He opened his palm to reveal a small carved wooden spiral, polished and smooth. 3 strings with little charming dangling.
The first charm was 2 purple colored crystal, the second was a wooden bead that wore a Maude color, with a tree carved on it, the last was a stack of small purple beads with marbled colors.
He placed it gently in the palm of your hand, and you cradled it with such delicacy.
“Oh it’s beautiful…”
Your breath truly caught itself in his trap.
“When we were young your mother made you that necklace out of those crystals and small jeweled beads, the one she found in the river?..you were so happy to wear something so colorful..I remember the purple ones were your favorite. You always placed them so that they were in the middle. I’d thought I’d add them as a small bonus.”
He smiled at the memory.
You hugged him, your cheek pressed against his chest, he was stunned for a moment but hugged you back, you looked up at him and your breath caught for a moment, your faces mere inches apart.
You both Depart slightly and avert your eyes.
“Thank you. It’s lovely, Neteyam.”
You said softly, he nodded and smiled at you.
“The spiral suits you. Even now with this great loss you bear. It’s a connection. Even to those who are no longer with us.”
You smiled at him back, and the two of you started to walk back to the village.
How could you not see it? The spiral. A sign of support? Of friendship? Of trust?
No my dear Y/n.
It was how he felt like his soul was steadily orbiting around you. Thoughts of you never ended.
His circle.
His spiral.
You were the center.

Years later….(y/n is now 18.)
(her code name is “X” neteyam’s name through comms is canonically ‘pathfinder’)
Jake yipped to Neytiri as she raised her bow and looked over her shoulder.
Her face is adorned with war paint, much like yours. She had painted you for the day. Red, purple, blue, the colors of your ikran worn proudly like a hyde of victory.
“Remember the plan.”
Jake says through his throat comms, his volume fighting the wind. You held your two fingers to the small mic on your neck so you could hear through your earpiece.
“Neytiri and I will strike from above, X, you're my Archer. I want you to hit em’ quick and move out fast. Eagle Eye, pathfinder, you two are spotters. Do not engage in close range, or air combat, understood?”
You heard lo’ak groan through his comm.
“Bro, why does Y/n get to have all the fun!?”
You felt a tinge of pride. Knowing you were Jake’s right hand out in the field. Higher ranked than either of his son’s. A skilled Archer.
“Because I'm older and I have more fun.”
You quipped back, unable to hide the smile in your voice.
“Ya know what'd be fun? If you were to crash straight into one of those mountains and fall in your cocky as-”
“Both of you! No arguing on the comms!”
You refocused as the smell of ash and metal was fast approaching. YOu and the war party arrive on the scene right on time
You flew up above the train tracks and watched as the vehicle crashed into a collision of smoke and ash on the derailed tracks.  The air scorched to sting your flesh with an uncomfortable heat.
Neytiri let out a ululating sound to signal to you as she flew down to help Jake. Behind you were 3 smaller aircrafts.
You grabbed your bow from the side saddle, mentally commanding your ikran to dive.
Everyone who witnessed Y/n fight swore the wind under her ikran’s wings were grazed with fire.
She was made of red-ribboned rainstorms in a scarlet blaze of uncharted wind and wildflowers.
For a moment it’s all too real. The encore of your arrows, the satisfying stretch of your bow string, Like the last note before the chorus. You dive down, sliding down the neck of your Ikran ever so slightly as the wind stings your cheeks, the sunlight strong. You draw back, a loud call escaping your throat, and the arrow flies.
Its in a blink of an eye the cockpit window is shattered, the pilot now sporting an arrow of yours through his neck as the metal gray bird ceases it’s flight and collapses in a cloud of smoke and sulfur.
You’d usually be celebrating if two bastards weren't behind you.
You grasp two arrows this time, the long wooden shaft in your clutch as you line them up properly for the next shot.
The pilots pathetically attempt to surf with the wind beneath you, scattering your duo targets into far off spots.
Thats the thing about humans. They tiptoed on the wind as if it was uneven ground. Na’vi warriors like you danced upon airstorms and harsh rains. A swirling spiral of helix grazes your skin as you feel one of their shots fly past you the heat just missing your ikran,
You soothe him before regaining your position, you mentally make a new command to your ikran.
‘Drop’
In a moment, the settled feeling of security that once shaved your bones seems to wither away.
Your ikran free falls, rolling against the wind that whips and wails. Your chest heaves as you ready your shot, the reverberation from your bowstring sings to your fingers as the two arrows fly, hitting both pilots as your irkan regains a flying position instead of a falling one, all adrift in a fleeting shot.
The aircrafts fall together, crashing against the ground.
The ground team jake had arranged comes into view frm the side forest clearing, all watching in awe as if you were the embodiment of phoenix.
They raised their bows and let out warcalls, you pridefully returned, raising your bow above your head and releasing a war call of your own.
Neteyam watched from afar. His ikran synced with Lo’aks as they circled the scene below, na’vi led by Norm gathering all the weapons they could.
But he couldnt let himself focus on the world below when all he could see was the woman made of exquisite inferno and grace was scorching the sky with her blaze.
Neteyam felt the wind brisk through his braids as he looked up, squinting against the sunlight in hopes to catch another glimpse of you.
The light of day made you seem grazed with gold that brushed the cobalt hues.
He watched as you shot down the aircrafts, he watched you shoot two arrows.
To Neteyam, you were made of fire.
Remnants of moonlight and high-tided sea storms. A hellish radiance and a scarlet soul.
Neteyam remembered the night he saw the flame embed itself in your soul. The night he gifted you that carving that was now a charm that rested tied to the long expanse of your bow.
He hated it. How inconsolable he feared you were, how he feared this new alit flame would burn his touch away from you. Useless was an understatement, of how he felt that night, even the stars above refused to guide him down teh right path.
He knew you were angry.
He was angry too.
He wanted to fight just like you did. His hatred for these sky demons simmered beneath his skin. He was a warrior. He wanted to fight next to you and his father. He was a protector of the people.
He had seen what they had taken from his home, from his parents, his family, from you.
At first, he thought it was jealousy.
The way Jake encrusted you to be his main archer. To shoot down sky ships.
Neteyam? He wasn’t anywhere near the fighting. Not anywhere near you.
He knew his father thought him and Lo’ak were “too important” to be fighting.
Jake was trying to salvage the sons made of stone before the heat of war can melt the rock.
Were you better than him?
Stronger than him?
Why did his father trust you more than he trusted his eldest?
As he watches you now, the archer who had her arrowhead aimed at his heart from day 1.
He knows its love. It must be.
It keeps him awake at night. The devoured feeling that gnaws at his heart. You were the center of his sky in all your celestial glory and he wished he would have gifted you the entire universe but instead he gave you that carved spiral.
He loved you because where other struggled to see in the dark you danced with dusk. You were a paradox. Detached, but focused. Because you somehow made the most dissolute and reckless seem graceful. You were real. Imperfect. Unconfined hunger bordered by each beautiful bruise blemish and scar that covered your skin.
You haunted him.
“Bro!”
And funny enough, it seems eywa created little brothers for a different kind of haunting.
Neteyams eyes flickered to where Lo’ak circled around him on his ikran.
The cold colors tattered across the ikrans purple and blue skin, trapping the yellow large speckles of shapes of the banshee’s skin.
Lo’ak’s echoes dwindle in the gust of wind, the war paint he wore proudly on either side of his face, Neteyam had watched Y/n paint Lo’ak after his begging back at high camp.
Something about Lo’aks smile in situations like these always found ways to disquiet Neteyam.
His eyebrows hover above his eyes as his fangs bare through his smile.
“Bro! We have got to get down there!”
Neteyam shakes his head, a warning look traces his features.
“No way! Dad will skin us!”
Lo’ak shakes his head, the wind uplifting his braids as he dives.
“C’mon! Don’t be a wuss!”
The flushed first notes of an uncertain heartbeat ablaze neteyam’s mind as he dives as well.
“Shit! Lo’ak! Get back you dumbass!”
Lo’ak dived blow into the musk of what might as well be no man’s land. The air wailed and whipped around him as he hopped off his Ikran. Yanking his kuru from his banshees and running towards the chaos in question.
He looked over his shoulder to see Neteyam following suit. He laughed, waving his hand through the dust and smoke.
“C‘mom bro!”
“Lo’ak!”
“Lo’ak come back!”
Lo’ak faltered momentarily when he saw Norm directing some navi’s into a brigade to gather all the weapons from the train’s supply cart. Swiftly swerving to stay out of the dream walkers sight, he joined the forming crowd where around where Tarsem had just opened a new cart of guns.
“Here boy- take this weapon! Go!”
Lo’ak let put a silly war cry and puffed up his chest,
Neteyam came to a halt.
“Lo’ak, you don’t even know how to use it.”
Lo’ak waved the gun around like it was weightless, handling it like one of Tuk’s toys.
“Nah bro. Dad taught me!”
Neteyam rolled his eyes, done with Lo’aks bullshit.
“I’m sure he did-
Let’s go-“
He grabbed lo’aks bicep but Lo’ak shrugged him off.
“Or maybe I’ll just be like y/n and shoot down some sky demons!”
Above the clouds, you circled the ensuing hustle below. Watching the brigades, monitoring the ground team. Your bow at the ready in its position on your saddle sheath.
And then you saw them.
“Son of a bitch!”
You hissed quietly, swiftily diving down to where the duo of your headache embodied currently argued about something stupid.
Lo’ak smiled as he saw you, but it faded as he watched the shadow of your Ikran (which was larger than the average Ikran, granted)
Loom over the both as you hopped down, glaring at them.
“What are you two shitheads doing here!?”
The feathers on your raid top gently shook in the breeze, a few of your beads clanking together in your braids as you made your descend.
Neteyam seemed to straighten, but his breath seemed to form a blockade for his own voice.
Maybe it was the way the brightly covered beads and feathers of your top accentuated your skin. Or maybe it was the way the fathers in your braids matched your waist beads Kiri had made you.
Maybe it was the way your loincloth seemed a bit more perfect than usual as it hugged your hips.
Maybe it was the way the red, blue, and purple war paint on your face outlined your eyes like wings and shed down your cheeks like tears, sorrowed in starlight for you had just been warrior of the wind.
I guess we’ll never know.
Lo’ak spoke for him.
“We wanted to help! C’mon, we have the ground team to be spotters! They don’t need us! I’ve been practicing the trick you taught me with the bow, just let us fly with you- we promise we’ll-“
You shot Lo’ak down before the words flooded further, the scarlet hues ablazed and begged for nothing but obedience in your voice.
“Kehe! You will do nothing-! Go back to your post. Both of you, now!”
You swatted Lo’ak with your bow, hissing at him, Neteyam tried to drag Lo’ak away.
“Bro let’s go!-“
The sound of heavy mechanical whirring instilled the heightening of your awareness in the moment, your ears pining back as you saw the larger ship approach.
“Gun ship inbound!”
Jake shouted, you saw neytiri hiss and take off on her Ikran.
“Shit! Run!” You cursed, shoving Lo’ak and Neteyam in the opposite direction and making a break away from the approaching enemy.
As it would seem time was not in your favor, your Ikran had already been spooked away by the blast, Neteyam grabbed your hand before you could run,
“Come with us, now!
Go-!”
He shoved Lo’ak ahead of him as they ran, Neteyam’s hand clutching yours as you kept pace with the two.
The 3 of you climbed over the derailed debris, Neteyam and you scaling the bright yellow RDA logo train doors,
“Bro come on!” Lo’ak called.
A flash of light invaded your vision, the scorching heat of the blast incircled you.
You feel Neteyam attempt to reach for you, but instead all you feel is a tug on your wrist as your senses start to numb.
Your airborn for a moment, then your body collides with the uneven ground, the rocky surface below.
You groan, your vision blurring. The embers and ash clash against your skin in the harsh sting of the hot air.
You winced in pain as the adrenaline started it’s course of abandonment. The aching sensation swallows your body.
Scarlet etched its way in a jagged scratch on your side. The world seemed to darkn as the scarlet hues slowly faded to black. The sky’s golden and blue game of chance changes its rules as your eyelids become heavy.
Neteyam’s eyes shoot open as his vision readjusts itself clearly.
Lo’ak is above him, shaking him awake. Panic in the half-notes of his jagged breaths.
“Bro!? Bro! C’mon, get up we gotta go!”
Neteyam stands to his feet, groaning, but quickly regaining his senses.
He looked down at his hand to see where something small and beaded made its home in his clutch.
A bracelet?
Your bracelet.
It hit Neteyam like a tidal wave.
“Shit! Y/n-“
Neteyam tried to run past when his body collided with a taller one, Jake stood looming over his son’s, placing one hand on each of their shoulders “Hey! Easy, easy, where’s Y/n?! Are you hurt?!”
Neteyam tried to speak but all it was met with is stuttered breaths and a poor panicked exclamation.
“That way! I meant to grab her arm and I grabbed this instead-
The blast-“
Jake didn’t hesitate as he started running in the direction you were in, Lo’ak seemingly still in shock and Neteyam following his father without missing a beat,
“Stay behind boy! Get your brother out of here!”
“But sir-“
“That’s a direct order!”
Norm, quickly dragged Neteyam and lo’ak away to the sidelines of the forest to make their quick escape.
The sound of a screech flooded your ears, the footseps barely audible over the smoke and wind.
“Y/n! Oh child, Eywa no.”
You reached for your knife with the last ounce of motor control you could muster, before a hand gently lifted you on your back, the sun’s blinding silver line halo of heat scorched your eyes, you hissed and winced in pain.
The hands were familiar, it calmed you rather quickly.
You knew it was neytiri when the blurry shape of gray purple and green, faintly recognizable as her bone collared-top.
You groaned, the raw rushes of pain encased your vision.
“I’m sorry-”
You mumbled.
“Shh. No apologies, my dear girl. Come, we must go. Quickly.”
The last thing you remember is the gently shrill of her Ikran and her hand around your waist was she settled you in front of her on her ikran. The Scarlet hue no painted the wind.

When you awake, its to the sound of herbs grinding soflty in a boil. The reverberations of the grinding tool against the small wooden bowl make your ears twitch.
Your vision settles. Mo’at sits infornt of the small fire in the tsahiks tent, Tuktirey by her side.
Her big eyes blinking at her grandmother’s handy-work, her much smaller tail swishing to the beat of each sound.
You sat up slowly, with a small wince. But the pain was significantly better.
Tuk gasps
“Y/n! You're alive!”
She wraps her arms around your waist, nuzzling her little head into your chest. You smile at the smaller girls, roughly a few of her braids, kissing the top of her head.
“of course I’m alive, yawntu! It would take a million Sky People to take me out.”
You teasingly mocked the position of an archer, holding a pretend bow and arrow made out of thin air as Tuk laughed.
Mo’at gently cleared her throat, making her way to you as she placed a hand on your shoulder.
“ Child, your wounds were deep, but they shall heal quickly with the salve. Kiri shall be back with more herbs soon. But please rest, simply until the bandages are removed.”
You nodded greatfully, squeezing her hand in a gesture of thank you.
She was the closest thing you would have to a grandmother, even before your parents began their journey with Eywa. You never got to meet your actual grandparents. They died in the attack on hometree. The only memory you had of them was through the clans' stories.
You wore a choker that was strung with river pearls and brown leather, a small navy-blue colored stone in the middle. A treasured piece your grandmother once wore.
Tuk snuggled up to you in the hammock, and you gently rubbed her back.
A soft rustling made your ears perk up when Kiri slipped through the tent flap with a basket of herbs.
“Tsmuke, (sister)
You are awake.”
Her expression softened, as if tensed up since the moment you returned unconscious. It probably was.
She handed the herbs to Mo’at and kneeled at your side, gently brushing a few of your braids away from your face.
“How are you feeling? Better? I used yalna bark when grandmother wasn’t looking. Was it Lo’ak again? It’s always Neteyam getting in trouble and you getting hurt when that sxkwang gets bright ideas-“
You gently stopped her mid rant. Holding her hand gently to your chest.
“I am fine, Kiri. A few scratches and bruises has never done much harm.”
She chuckled softly, standing back to her feet to assist Mo’at with the rest of the preparations for other wounded warriors.
As the hours passed, and the sun started to set, Kiri had to drag Tuktirey off to bed and Mo’at left the tent for the night. Leaving you alone to find sleep.
Mo’at had insisted you sleep in the Tsahik’ s tent tonight. Get some extra rest.
You didn’t argue. It was better than sharing a hammock with Lo’ak. The boy snored more than what you were almost certain was normal.
It was an understatement to say you nearly killed someone when you heard the tent flap rustle. You jumped, instinctly reaching for your knife.
It was well after hours.
Everyone should be asleep.
Who was it? Were you followed when you left the train?
Was it a sky demon? An animal?
You slowly felt your heart steady once again when you saw a small pale figure enter your tent, the small glimmer of his mask dances in the firelight. Lo’ak is behind him, looking less hyper than usual. Instead, a subtle tinge of gray flickered past his eyes, but it quickly gilded itself to green and gold once it settled on your form. He released a breath of relief and spider smiled.
“See? I told you she was okay.”
It took you a moment to realize that Lo’ak was worried about you.
You gave him a small smile opening your one arm that wasn’t aching, and he slipped himself under it, sitting next to you in the hammock, resting his head on your shoulder.
Lo’ak was your best friend. But really, he was so much more than that.
He was your family. Your ride-or-die.
Your right hand.
It made you feel a bit guilty, that Lo’ak seemed to prefer you over Neteyam sometimes.
Lo’ak wanted you to be his teacher when it came to his archery training and sparring. Lo’ak wanted it to be you who he went on hunts with.
Yet again, he also only lets you braid his hair because apparently neytiri pulls too hard and Neteyam doesn’t know how to tie them off properly.
Spider was a bit of a different case.
As you grew older, you realized how much you envied your motehrs sense of lightness.
Her entire being seemed to be made of golden hour gardens and softly whispered summers.
She was strong. The strongest woman you knew.
But she was kind.
She wasn’t like Neytiri in the sense that she resented all humans.
Your mother always felt a sense of protectiveness over Spider. A small, pale boy who used his heart instead of brain, chasing shimmyflys and tripping over vines that were larger than him. She welcomed him into her circle. She shielded him from the storms of strange staring and pesky fears.
Your mother always cared for Spider. Helped him re-twist his locs and make him new loincloths and hair beads. Some of your earliest memories were you and spider playing with the small carved toys in your family’s tent, or giggling after dark under the blankets after your father told you both to go to sleep.
She argued when spider had to go back to his foster family, and ended up making bargains with him to stay overnight every few days.
You’re almost positive it’s the only motherly love spider has ever known.
He cried when your mother died.
You think he might have cried more than you did.
Sobbed for days with you, and it brought you closer together.
You smiled as Lo’ak fidgeted with one of the bracelets on your wrist.
When you were about 8, Lo’ak was 7, spider was 9, your mother carved you these special beads for the three of you to use.
You three decided to make bracelets and your father helped you string them together, all collecting charms and gifting them to one another to add.
The two biggest stones were carved river crystal the two boys collected, Lo’ak rolled the beads between his two extra fingers, sporting a bracelet of his own you and spider made him.
“So, I heard you got your ass kicked.”
Spider snickered. Sitting down in front of you.
You whacked him with your tail.
“Fuck off. Those sky demons ate my arrows.”
Spider groaned,
“I’m so pissed. I heard you fell down in a explosion and ate shit-
And now one took a picture for me!”
Lo’ak threw and arm around your shoulder and wiggled his eyebrows.
“Oh yeah. And her Romeo was panicking because he didn’t save her in time”
You flushed, shoving him away.
Spider laughed, standing up.
“I can only imagine-“
He cleared his throat, before making his voice go an obnoxious pitch higher, twirling his locs around his fingers and batting his eyes, mimcmking what was supposed to be you.
“Oh Neteyam! My big strong warrior man! Come save me!”
You hissed in annoyance, but couldn’t help but bite back laughter at the back of your throat.
Lo’ak stood to his feet, puffing up his chest and taking his braid out of the way he tied them back, letting them hang, deepening his voice and stomping towards spider, dramatically holding him in his arms as spider collapsed with a loud rehearsed sigh.
Lo’aks Neteyam imitation sent you over the edge, you were now cackling and had rolled out of your hammock.
“I’ll save you from the demon ships with my bow and arrow!”
Lo’ak, you, and spider all break into a fit of laughter, rolling around on the ground. Lo’ak steadying himself by burying his face in your shoulder as spider banged his fist on the ground, finally, as the laughter died down, the three of you stared at the top of the tent, out of breath, the only sound being the gentle wheezing endnotes of your breaths.
“Glad you kicked some ass today. Those fucking RDA pilots didn’t stand a chance against you and that bow of yours.”
Spider whispered. Nudging your shoulder gently.
You smiled at him, Lo’ak squished in between you.
The three of you said your goodnight s, and you watched the two missing parts of your circle leave the tent before they could get caught after lights out.
You nestled back into the hammock, staring up at the ceiling.
The aching in your arms hasn’t completely vanished it’s fortification of pain in your shoulder.
You gently rub circles around the small carved spiral you untied from the long shaft of your bow when spider dragged it inside.
You played with the small crystals and the beads, gently humming to yourself.
Your fingers traced along the shape, Neteyams eyes invaded your mind.
It was fascinating, really. How a warrior such as yourself had won today's battle and yet the one thing you truly yearned for was still not within your grasp.
It hurts sometimes, to think about how beautiful he was.
The way his irises encompassed golden hour in all its starlight sessions.
The air was thicker in the mountains like this, up here in high camp. Perhaps that’s why the sweltering residual warmth that rippled across your skin like lillies to a pond every time you thought of him
You wondered if he tasted like the sun. Sweet, possibly bitter. Bleak and addicting, such a delicacy deserved to never touch your lips.
Alas the stars did not align for you.
Not tonight.
You trace the spiral one last time before letting your eyes flutter closed.
Your tail flicked as you heard yet another rustling.
The sound of footsteps, slightly heavier than last time.
You groaned.
“Spider did you forget something again?..”
When no answer was heard you grumbled. Standing to your feet and untying the tent flap, only to be met with two two golden hour orbs that had just plagued your mind.
“”Neteyam?..”
authors note:
I’m finally done! I haven’t slept in two days but I’m finished. I can’t decided whether I like the way this turned out but I LOVE some of the smaller little details. Y/n is such a badass and she’s in her reputation eraaaa. We love to see it 😩👏 this first one was a lil angsty but I PROMISE y’all, this series is NOT angst. I’ve got a ton of stuff planned. I’m thinking maybe a little bit of jealous Neteyam? Some humor? Spider and Lo’ak being the captain of the ship? Mo’at being a sassy Granmda? Maybe some sister bonding with Kiri? AHHH IM SO HYPED. I, about to pass out and I can’t feel my fingers but that’s it for now! Stay tuned for part 2 🏹

Big Brother | Neteyam
Tumblr media
pairing: Brother!Neteyam x sister!reader, Brother!Lo'ak x sister!reader summary: A day in the life of older brother Neteyam Sully w/c: 613 notes: i recently hit 100 followers while i wrote this little drabble!! thank u all so much >.< i hope u enjoy this xD im on a streak w the sibling fics and drabbles its just so much fun to write!!
It was not uncommon that you and Lo’ak would get into arguments, almost always they are about petty things, who was the fastest, who’s better at hunting, who makes the better meal, etc. So it wasn’t rare that the Sully family would walk in on your childish arguments, though unfortunately, it was Neteyam who had the luck to run into the both of you.
“Lo’ak just admit you’re a pussy bitch and this can be over.” You rolled your eyes.
“No way in hell! I told you, we need a rematch and it’ll be fair,” Loak grunted, crossing his arms over his chest, turning away from you.
Neteyam sighed. He really wasn’t in the mood to play ‘most responsible person in the world’ right now, but duty calls.
The eldest Sully approaches the both of you, “Hey, hey, what’s all this fighting about?”
“This skxawng and I did a race of whoever got the first kill and I won but Lo’ak says it ‘cuz he heard a thanator and had to hide for the first few minutes.” You whined to your older brother, earning an appalled gasp from his brother.
“Hey! You can’t go sucking up to him just ‘cause you’re his ‘little princess’!” Lo’ak mocked in a high pitch tone, his hands flying around wildly.
“Listen, listen, I’m not taking anyones’ side, both of you are skxawngs.” Neteyam exhaled, crossing his arms over his chest, “Now, no more fighting, or I’m telling mom and dad.” The eldest says, mostly directed towards his brother.
“Ya, you skxawng, scurry off.” You scoffed, sticking your tongue out at your brother, playfully poking at his torso.
Lo’ak hissed at you, brows furrowing.
“Princess, you’re provoking him,” Neteyam shook his head. Yet you paid no mind, continuing with your teasing.
You poked Lo’ak once more before he hissed and pounced at you. The two of you begin fighting, with Lo’ak pulling at your braids and you pulling on his ear. Grunts and whines bounce against the leaves of the hometree, the pair of you rolling around and knocking into the bark of the tree.
“Ow! Bro she has my ears! She has my ears! Get her off!”
“Let go of my fucking hair!”
Neteyam sighs once again, he can never have just one peaceful day, can he? He struts over to the two of you. At this point you’re now straddling Lo’ak, pulling on his hair as he throws meek punches to your torso.
Neteyam picks you up without a second thought, “No more fighting, please.” you squirm in your brother’s hold but ultimately cannot fight against it. The eldest Sully reaches out a hand and helps Lo’ak up.
At just the right timing, Kiri walks in. She pauses to observe the scene, before shrugging and going on about her business.
“My ears really hurt,” Lo’ak muttered under his breath, a stupid pout forming on his lips.
“Okay, go ask Kiri for help,” Neteyam nods his head in his sister’s direction. Lo’ak begrudgingly struts over to where Kiri is.
You remain beside Neteyam, eyes wandering to the ground, which was suddenly so interesting.
“Now you, I don’t know why you continue to cause trouble baby,” Neteyam points, looking down at you with disappointment. You shift from foot to foot. Luckily enough, his soft side for you remains, the slip of a pet name indicating he’s not entirely mad at you.
Yet you chuckle nervously, “I won’t anymore, promise.”
Neteyam rolls his eyes at your promise. As if you hadn’t said the same thing a few days ago. Though he takes a look at your disheveled state, and decides to let it pass.
“Come, I’ll fix your braids.”

What if the sickly born reader went behind her families back and bonded with an ikran and maybe got hurt in the process. What would they all do after finding this out?
I love the ideaaaa! Let’s do this!
Caught red handed (Yandere! Platonic! Sully family x sickly born! Sully! Reader). [ Our baby part 2 ]
General warnings: Yandere! Behavior, cursing, violence, all the yandere warnings you can imagine, guilt tripping.
Content warnings: English isn’t my first language and this hasn’t been proofread yet
Tumblr media
[ 3rd Person POV ]
Eclipse had fallen upon Pandora, the bioluminescent plants shone with their bright colors.
Y/n had planned this for a while. She felt tired of having her family always with her, treating her like a baby. The real baby was Tuk not her.
She sneaked around her house. Trying not to wake anyone up. She didn’t want to imagine how her family would react to this. She went towards the Ikran hive, determined on getting one. She didn’t want to always fly with Jake or with Neteyam.
She tried to be silent, some of the Ikran were sleeping and probably startling them wouldn’t be the best idea.
Walking around she found the one, it was a beautiful (your favorite color) tone. The Ikran was wide awake but unmoving, looking at her closely.
Soon he started running towards her, she had been chosen. This is something she hadn’t planned. The part were you have to fight the Ikran to be able to create a bond with it.
She rushed through the hive trying to avoid getting bitten. She jumped and squirmed. Once she didn’t move so fast and the sharp fangs from the Ikran pierced her thigh. “Shit!” She wailed. She felt pain go over her, but as the Ikran was moving his head, she formed the bond with it. “Ha, gotcha, bitch!” She laughed wholeheartedly while softly whining. She got on top of it and it took a few minutes to be able to have a connection with it.
She flew until dawn. “How am I going to hide this?” She thought to herself while looking at her leg and stoping her ikran close to the hive again. She went to her grandma’s, the Tsa’hìk would help her.
“You shouldn’t be here” her grandma hissed as she fixed Y/n’s leg. “Your mom will skin you, then skin me, then skin you again!”.
Y/n smiled softly at her grandmother. But suddenly, the tent flew open. “Y/n!” Neytiri’s voice sounded strong and terrifying.
Neytiri hissed at her daughter “where have you been? All of us were worried sick” she hollered when she saw the bandages on her leg. “Y/n!” Jake screamed too. He came in and scooped his baby in his arms, angrily.
“You shouldn’t have done that!” Jake said, looking at her. “What have you done!” He was really mad. It scared Y/n. “Dad, please don’t scream at me”.
Neytiri hissed “it is making me use all of my strength not to pluck your eyes out!”. Y/n shut her eyes close, a few tears sliding through her cheeks.
“She bonded with an ikran” the voice of the Tsa’hìk took both adults by surprise. “Grandmaaaa” Y/n whined.
“She did what!?!?” Neytiri hollered, Y/n retracted more into her dad’s arms, trying to hide her face on his neck. “We will talk later” Jake said, his voice dangerously low. Y/n shivered as Neytiri walked past them hollering blasphemies.
Once they got home Y/n whined. “Hey guys, where were yo-“ Neteyam cut himself mid-phrase when he saw his parents’ faces. “What happened?” Lo’ak asked.
“Your sister bonded with an ikran and hurt herself in the process” Jake said coldly. Neteyam’s and Lo’ak’s looks darkened as they heard that. Where was she trying to go? Did she try to escape? Would this all end?
Neteyam decided on taking a soft approach, seeing how scared his sister was. This would give him point with her and maybe she would come to him instead of taking an ikran. He could almost imagine how it would feel to have her undivided attention.
Once Jake put Y/n down on the floor, Neteyam went and hugged his sister. He didn’t say a thing, knowing full well that their dad could find a way to blame him. Y/n sniffled softly and tried to hide her face in Neteyam’s chest. Even though she was scared and the situation was not good, Neteyam felt satisfied seeing her reaction.
He knew she would always count on him.
Jake grunted and hissed before leaving the tent and talking outside with Neytiri. “I am so sorry! I just wanted to have an ikran like all of you” Y/n sniffled. Neteyam patted her hair. “Hush now, Y/n. I am here with you” his sweet tone and soft touches made her feel better.
Lo’ak hissed under his breath, muttering insults at hos brother before he got up and also hugged her. “We are here for you”. The girl was startled by the sudden voice behind her but she turned around a little bit to hug both her brothers.
“Y/n, are you okay?” Kiri appeared. “I heard mom and dad talking about you right now”. She went straight to her sister, pulling her in a hug and trying to calm her completely around. “The world out there is dangerous, they are so mad because you know how fragile you are! They don’t want to loose any of us.” Kiri explained, making Y/n’s behavior change.
She suddenly felt guilty of causing pain to her family. “I am so sorry” she started crying again. Kiri smiled at her brothers knowingly. Neteyam nodded while Lo’ak didn’t understand what was she doing.
Later on, all of them expressed their fear of loosing her, making Y/n feel more and more guilty. She wouldn’t plan on doing anything anytime soon, that’s for sure.
Jake and Neytiri, once they calmed down, saw what their kids had done and they were very proud. Neytiri still punished Y/n with doing more chores and Jake also guilt tripped her into feeling bad for what she had done.
