Something I do admire about Amanda and todays 2T1L really drove home is that like. At least part of the reason she's so disconnected from online shit is because she's just too busy being outside doing shit. Like drunkenly stealing pineapples. Partying. And having 3 million jobs. Living her life. etc. She really was "outside talking to trees" and thats why she didn't know who Harambe was.

Don / Timeline Mobius' kids are coded as Lokis.
This does NOT mean Mobius = father figure.
More so that Mobius' previous wife was probably a mischievous scamp, and... jet-skis also relate to Mobius' true passions.
What will HE want?
Let me explain :)
First: look at the kids.
Kevin = Sylvie.
That's a minute man ^
Just like Sylvie burnt in season 1, episode 1 – and everything she used (the lamp and the reset charges) was stolen, just like Kevin's matches.
And the other kid?
Sean = Loki.
"Don" gets him to help in the same way Mobius got Loki to help catch Sylvie in season 1.
This tactic...
...is the same as this tactic.
The exact same method, on full display! Very amusing to me personally.
Aside from the fact that his kids are, hilariously, little hellions and perhaps take after their wayward mother (who maybe ran away in typical Loki fashion, if she wasn't snapped by Thanos? 👀)… and that that gave Mobius the unique ability to know how to "handle" Lokis, even subconsciously…
We see towards the end of the episode that "Don" cares about his kids, yes; of COURSE he cares about them! They need him!
But.
Being a parent reallyyyy isn't his passion. The work (in this case, jet-skis) is his ACTUAL passion.
He drops everything kid-related to talk about jet-skis... and also drops everything kid-related to talk to Loki.
These 2 things explicitly criss-cross. Deliberately in the context of Don trying to get Loki to fill the role of his new romantic partner.
Plus, y'know, there's the fact that Don immediately flirts with Loki at the store by telling him his entire schedule and announcing to him that he's single. Which is fucking amazing.
Yeah, that's the actual dialogue.
So, I'll spell it all out:
Don's kids are mischievous scamps, and his wife probably is/was too.
Loki is Mobius' ideal partner (which we already knew, but this is another fun detail to enjoy!) – and Loki will actually STAY. He'll REMAIN, if you will.
Mobius' ideal life involves focusing on work that he's passionate about, not being a parent. And it's OKAY for him to want that! Especially in the context of his TVA life. He has purpose-driven work; he's not "abandoning" his kids. And he's helping others.
Loki's conversation with Sylvie is a whole other post to unpack, but: what's wrong with wanting something?
Or: what's wrong with wanting SOMEONE?
It's about "who."
If you're very lucky... the where/when/why AND "who" align.
At the TVA, for Mobius, they do and they will.
Oh, that's lovely.

Villainous Observations: Miss Heed giving Anana the Middle Finger And Her Habit of Taking Credit for Other People's Work
Miss Heed tends to make holiday themed posts on popular holidays such as Valentines Day and Halloween, so it's a little out of character for her to make a post for an obscure holiday like Community Manager Day unless it's for a "good reason."

And I theorised that the reason that Miss Heed just had to find the most obscure holiday involving community managers*,
(*Community Manager: The person responsible for building and maintaining a brand's community, both online and offline and it's public perception)
(Note: Also, I love the subtle future foreshadowing with the pineapple pen, on the bottom right, hinting that Anana is her actual community manager)
Then probably made her two assistants write down the most brag worthy things on her white board and sticky notes,
(like saying she contacts the mayor, might get a reality show, and is besties with the popular hero Omega)
And overcompensating lies to make herself look like a good person,
(like saying she feeds stray cats, consistently sends love to her followers that she had to write it down twice, and and actually cares about world peace 😂)
Then afterwards, she probably just opened up her laptop to her Instagram account to pose for a photo, faking it to make it look like she was typing and thinking "that's what my annoying community manager does right?"
All this just to rub salt in Anana's face, not giving her credit, by saying she is her own manager and independently does all of the work managing her brand on her own without anyone's help, all by herself.
And Anana, seeing this post will be like "This ungrateful spoiled bitch that I have to work for..."
But she is probably not surprised that she does this..., as she worked for her for many years since the early days of her heroine career.

I theorised that Miss Heed and Anana have an "I hate you, but I have to work with you, relationship" 😂
For Miss Heed, despite what Anana has done to build Miss Heed's brand to make her a popular heroine and help clear her name, she probably still hates Anana due to her still not meeting all of her demanding and spoilt requests, probably because it can do more harm to her brand reputation in the long run.
(For example, not allowing her to use social media until her reputation is cleared, as it might raise some questions.)
Leading to both of them having a heated argument and a yelling match as shown below.
(I wonder if Miss Heed posted that Community Manager post after an argument with Anana out of spite and petiness 😂)
For Anana, because of this she sees Miss Heed as a "spoilt, demanding and ungrateful brat" but tolerates it because it is her job and since Miss Heed's dad signs her cheques, she would listen to her father over Miss Heed any day.
And also I theorised she knows that having to deal with spoilt heroes is the price to pay for being on the "winning side" and profiting out of it which is why she formed "The Sisterhood of The UwU" Superhero fanclub when she met other women in the hero industry who share the same experience and goals, benefitting from having heroes having a good reputation, despite knowing that they are not actually good people.
Hence creating this "sisterhood" which allowed her connections to help each other by making the heroes, beneficial to each member, look good by any means possible.

Aside from this, looking back at Miss Heed's Instagram again, after Chapter 10 of The Risky Heist, now knowing she didn't do anything herself is hilarious 🤣
And seeing as how Miss Heed tends to take credit for other people's work as her own, like claiming be to her own manager and claiming Flug's formula to be her own.
I wonder if all the other stuff on her Instagram she claimed that "she's done" was also a lie. For example:

Wow, I'm mad at myself for being late to the favorite fic subject coming up /j
Personally, I'm a huge sucker for cya and have itysg as a second(however, if we decide to count your other fics then... itysg would be third while your smile makes me smile would be second). I think it's the amount of world building that makes it so interesting for me along with the fact that it takes place before the archon war. Like, there hardly passes a day where cya doesn't just... scoot right over into my thoughts making it kinda hard to reread cause it know it so well </3.
I am sad to say that I haven't checked out BitA yet. When I first saw it while looking for some other fic of yours to read, I didn't really like apocalypse stories much. I might check it out though cause I'm a lot more open to those kinds of stories now. I also remember starting every good intention, but I don't remember why I stopped... I think I had to get off my phone for a bit and just... forgot to continue? Idk I really should check those two...

I remember reading one of genshin that was also mixed with a time loop and I just ate it up-(it was sadly discontinued and then deleted from ao3, but not before I managed to download it for future offline reading-) I'm honestly interested in those wriolette ones you mentionned, may I have a few recs if you don't mind? A Match Made in France by oooohscar - not a murder mystery per se but it does contain mystery investigations. it's basically furina trying to matchmake neuvillette and wriothesley and she quickly discovers they work well as investigation partners? and so she starts trying to get them to investigate things together, but then shit gets out of hand. it's so fucking good and so fucking funny. like it's pre-reveal furina but i can forgive the mild ooc and- y'know, furina portrayal pre-trauma-reveal (?) just because it's so well written and hilarious (and also she's not portrayed entirely as a brat, i find her more absurdly histrionic than anything). also it's not just furina pov, it switches between all of them. it's incomplete but updating, and absolutely worth a read
The Gambler's Debt by Marsrevale - much more serious than the one above, this one is a murder mystery through and through. the mystery is still only starting, so it probably has a long way to go, but i'm patient so i'll keep up. it's basically neuvillette and clorinde going to investigate a series of murders in the fortress of meropide (this is a sort of modern au so meropide is a gambling house / hotel i think) and wriothesley is the main suspect, but there's also stuff going on between neuvillette and wriothesley bc they knew each other long ago but only wriothesley recognizes him. idk how else to describe it, it's really intriguing so far, i hope the mystery pans out nicely
Hold my hand, never let me go by Jinnmi - also a proper murder mystery, this one is about what is essentially a branch of fontaine's police force for criminal investigation led by wriothesley and the many interconected cases they have to solve. neuvillette is sent as a consultant to keep an eye on them, but ends up basically joining the team as they all try to solve a big case that seems to threaten the country whole and is also somehow connected to wriothesley's past. this one is very good, the murders might be a bit too gruesome for sensitive people? but still, really nice. i love the unsettling vibe of whatever the one behind this all is planning, the suspense is also really good. still updating and i rush to it every time a new chapter comes out, it had me in a chokehold when i first found it.

Re: R posting T on social media. He's hilarious, oh T you hypocrite. So we've established they are so ying&yang, and the pillars to support their relationship are COMMUNICATION and COMPROMISE! That last answer was beautiful. Perfectly said at the end, it was very uplifting to us. A reminder to all of us that deep connection that RT shares. The toeing of the line, makes me smile.
They have many long and deep conversations. Shared secrets and good times! T feels R is very different from anyone’s ever met and adores her. The potential will always be there for him. He will always love her and fears he will never feel this way again. No matter how many times they fight and argue, they will always have each other’s back.

He's busy af at the moment in life but he's worth the wait. I love all the muses of his that I write with, but my special faves are his Thor, his Clint, his Scott, and his Geralt. For Loki, ofc. I have faves in Jade and Nate for my pirate boy and X/Theta for my time travelling XI. Why? I'm terrible at explaining. He gets the characterisations spot on and he's willing to explore so much range with his muses.

Psychonauts/Transformers OC
Just a heads up my Transformers knowledge is very rusty and I'm just starting to get back into it but if I don't write this out now I will take psychic damage.
Name Psychout
Faction Psychonaut, formerly a Decepticon
Alternate Mode Psi-Jet
Specialties Confusion, hypnosis, invisibility
How is she psychic? Got ejected into space during an explosion on her ship and ended up debris on the meteorite that would end up crashing in Whispering Rock. Several thousand years stuck in a meteorite of basically pure psitanium and then being buried on earth with a large chunk of it led to the psychoactive mineral growing inside the cybertronian. Not only did this just barely keep her from going offline but it also imbued her with psychic abilities.
How is she a Psychonaut? During an excavation for psitanium in the off season the staff at Whisper Rock Psychic Summer Camp found what appeared to be a very large and very badly damaged robot embedded in a massive chunk of the mineral.
Otto Mentallis, in his usual hubris, worked with now lab partner Gisu to rebuild the bot. It was long and difficult but he wasn't considered an expert engineer for nothing... also... the psitanium in the bot almost seemed alive. Touching it he could swear he caught glimpses of how to put her back together, pieces that shouldn't have fit would be modified when their backs were turned... it was as if the psitanium wanted the bot fixed.
When she was first reactivated she didn't do much of anything expect study what was around her. Her cerebral processor had been badly damaged, leaving her memory core almost completely wiped with only brief flashes of her past left. She was almost like a child and had to be taught a lot by the psychonauts, think the Iron Giant. When it was discovered she was psychic she went to Whispering Rock to learn (the campers were thrilled to have a giant robot amongst them), switched out her old damaged mesh with a sleeker design and scanned the Psychonauts' jet (The Pelican) for her alt mode. Now she usually acts as the transportation on missions as well as crowd control, also volunteers at Whispering Rock as security in the summer.
What's she like? As she had to relearn a lot about living and was surrounded by humans at the time she has a lot more human way of thinking, the fact that she's 1000s of years old almost seems like a joke now that she has a human mind's frame of time. Interning with Helmut Fullbear while she was sort of still emulating personalities she thought were cool lead to her becoming a big fan of the arts, especially 60s psychedelia and the theater. Not the greatest with tech she will admit, any cybertronian terminology would probably go right over her head. These combined with a naturally laid back, lazy and slightly spacey personality may lead other bots to think that she less than bright. They shouldn't be fooled, she's good at reading (Books? Minds? People? Situations? She ain't telling.) and is a very quick learner.
What little she does remember from her pass gives her quite a bit of guilt towards using violent methods. She hits like a crashing plane but due to this guilt she utilizes stealth as much as possible, even specializing in the stealth side of psychic powers rather than more battle based ones. You shouldn't push her though, she still has a mean streak buried somewhere deep down.
Above all else though she's caring and trying to make up for the sins of a past she can only glimpse shadows of, the her before as much a stranger as any she'd pass in the street but still laying unbearably heavy hands on her shoulders.
Relationships?
Otto and Gisu: As they were the ones who rebuilt her and were the main interactions she had she sees them as family. Otto finds the fact that a 1000s year old robot views him, a man at best in his 60s, as a father figure both hilarious and endearing. Gisu and Psychout have a strong sibling bond and are often exchanging gossip or doing levitation tricks around the Questionable Area.
Sasha and Milla: Were away on a long mission when she was being rebuilt and didn't hear much about her. When Sasha returned he thought she was a very impressive invention of Otto's and that the talk of her being from space was a joke. Geeked out hard when he realized everyone was being serious, while it was disappointing that she didn't remember anything of her culture/people she was still living proof that aliens were real! Milla was also amazed by proof of aliens but she was more so interested in the new point of view a robotic organism could bring. Found her journey into the world of art fascinating, even if the bot's singing left a lot to be desired.
Raz and Lili: They were still kids when Psychout came onto the scene and like many kids to them nothing is cooler than a giant robot. They were also the first to get over the awe and treat her more like a person so they hold a special place in her heart. Let's Raz climb all over her for acrobatic stunts and does a lot of gardening for Lili's more dangerous plants.
How does she feel about the Autbot/Decepticon conflict? Mixed. On one hand that's her species and she feels like she should be learning about both sides, on the other hand she feels like since her past was wiped out of her that she doesn't have a horse in this race. Is quite aware of how fragile humans are compared to cybertronians and how many tend to end up squished in battles so if she does show up its mostly to get humans out of the path of tumbling bots. Though the first time she was directly engaged by other bots she ended up headbutting Megatron right in the chin and putting Bulkhead in a trance while trying to save a bus full of people so she's not sure she has a choice in sitting out the conflict much longer.

i think that one of my all time favorite OCS might be my dangan oc; Kristabelle Nakanishi
I've been roleplaying for like years now, but we first got into Danganronpa roleplays in like 2021-2022, but it was before I knew anything about it fr (fun facto; Oliver enters fandoms without knowing anything about said fandom, that way they're more like to get more into it by reading into the lore as time progresses)
I'm pretty sure the story was changed around a bit, because we soon started a childhood server, which is where we roleplayed our ocs/characters stories and developed the lore
Kristabelle was traumatized obviously like she's my OC she does NOT get a pass tf
ahe had a younger twin sister, and an older brother, who "died" in that same server, and she also had a girlfriend, who she ran away from because of something she was forced to do
her and her siblings were like test dummies for their father (Oliver stop projecting your daddy issues onto all of your ocNO.) BUT they were also raised assassins at a young age, this adding onto the trauma and abuse for obvious reasons
there was this orphanage that all the kids would go to to hang out, and that's where she met kokichi (and his twin sister, played by the same person), who ended up being her best friend and bonded through the trauma !
there was stitch, mia, sparks, mazuko, charlie/ollie, and kristabelle, as the og original character cast
eventually some bad things happened, and everyone separated, and kristabelle ran away, but not before getting to spend some last times with kokichi, who gave her a matching hairpin to remember each other by
now, this wasn't canon at first, but I had went offline for a bit and came back to the server (killing game) spamming me, like, "KRISTABELLE AND TOGAMI MAKE THEM FOUND FAMILY"
I was like lol why

so I did !
obviously they weren't fond of each other at first, but eventually they actually did become like an amazing fucking duo
again this was an alternate universe with a somewhat changed story, not everything will be entirely lore accurate <//3
they both fucked up trials, and almost found themselves being executed because of misunderstandings, took no one's shit fr
i think we merged killing games in this ⁉️ because we didn't wanna do separate ones for every game + we didn't want to necessarily have us in every game, so we put all three together, and oh my god it was so chaotic in the best way, everything was harder and much more hilarious but like traumatizing too

It’s honestly hilarious watching people who say they do not like him anymore continuously commiserate about him and his current relationship because it’s playing out in a healthy normal way. like I truly do not care about those people but I’m a bitch so I’m going to say this. Whatever It Takes: A Degrassi Season 10 Retrospective (You Don't Know My Name, Pt. 2)
Remember that HBO Degrassi reboot that was supposed to happen? It's cancelled, just like my interest in this episode. Let's get this out of the way so I can talk about things that actually facilitate entertaining commentary beyond making fun of the word "hoedown" (who am I kidding, I'm not getting any wittier than that).
Back at Degrassi, Drew struggles to write his own essay. His brother Adam snarks that maybe Drew should've turned in the paper Alli wrote for him after all. Drew is offended at the memory of Alli's betrayal, saying he doesn't appreciate being called stupid. What he's really saying here is he hates honesty.
KC runs through the list of different cliques Drew should consider picking a new girl from. Are cliques a real thing? In Catholic school, we just had a) popular girls b) semi-popular girls and c) girls like me, who didn't even make the senior year class montage slideshow. Drew likes the sound of a cheerleader and hits on Marisol, which is hilarious when you remember how he ends up hating her guts just one season later.
Meanwhile, Fiona attempts to give Holly J an intervention in the hallway after Sav calls her "hot stuff." Holly J denies she has any feelings for him. Fiona reminds Holly J that she needs to marry Declan so they can become sisters--fitting, as Degrassi Takes Manhattan taught us that Fiona is rather fond of incest.
Sav has a very different version of what's going on between the two. Peter, holding a rather negative view of Holly J (which isn't altogether unwarranted), grills him as to whether their kiss was "tight," "hot," and involved slapping. I think he's getting a little ahead of himself there.
Love is also blooming amongst our Three Tenners (for one of them, at least). Connor defends his online girlfriend, saying she's just as good as a real life one. Dave needles him into trying to move the relationship offline, which Connor eventually agrees to--just so that Dave can find out what a real date is like. Haha, fuck you Dave.
Drew and Marisol's date isn't going so well. Drew quickly realizes Marisol is just copying everything he does, including liking the band Hot Chip. I don't think that's a real band even in the context of Degrassi. He further tests this theory by ordering a tuna wrap with strawberry ice cream and garlic salt, which she also orders. Peter walks away in disgust, probably thinking these two were made for each other. Marisol tops it all off by literally saying "It's easier if I don't have to think for myself!" You know, maybe these two are made for each other.
The Three Tenners arrive at the steakhouse for Connor's date with LoveQueen16, looking for a girl in a Realm of Doom shirt. In walks what appears to be a woman who looks more like a LoveQueen46. Connor wants to talk to her, but Wesley and Dave quickly drag him out.
Speaking of romantic failures, Drew immediately runs back to Alli after realizing Marisol has the depth of a sheet of paper. He tries to win her back, but she's rightfully unmoved by such charming lines as "You win. I'll go to the dance with you" and "Does 'ugh' mean 'yes' in Hindi?" Alli's face says it all.
Things are going a little better for Sav and Holly J. She arrives at the Dot to check out how Hoedown (.......ha) decor is going, and is so wooed by the wagon wheels and cowboy print tablecloths that she forgets everything she said about not liking Sav. This Hoe is Down bad.
Later, she gazes wistfully at photos of the two of them posted publicly on her FaceRange. Fiona warns Holly J that's she's probably just rebounding from Declan, which she denies. She then gazes wistfully at a photo of Declan.
Drew, meanwhile, has devised the perfect plan to woo Alli: have guys on the football team enact a skit in the hallway about how great he is. No one but Drew is impressed, and he is left to forlornly fondle his football.
Having come Down from her Hoeing high, Holly J realizes what she needs to do. She returns to the Dot where Sav has been decorating by himself for hours instead of going to class. She tells him she’s not over Declan. He’s sad but unsurprised, but at least he has Jones Soda to comfort him.
Later that evening, it’s finally times for the Hoes to go Down to the Dot to party. Drew is staring at Alli dancing with an NPC when Marisol pops in to flirt with him. He asks if it would be weird to request girl advice from her. Yes, yes it would be.
Sav publicly thanks Holly J for making the dance possible, which is weird to me because it seems like he’s done 99% of the work. Holly J mostly just showed up to either kiss or dump him. Either way, she’s impressed by Sav’s farmer hat and flattery. They decide to have a casual thing for the six months to graduation. What’s really optimistic here is to assume a Degrassi relationship will even last six episodes.
Meanwhile, Adam lures Alli to the photobooth. She’s annoyed to find Drew in there, which is the natural reaction. He finally tells her what he actually likes about her, which is basically that she’s smart in every way he isn’t (and that’s a lot of ways). Alli tries to say he’s people-smart, but I’m not sure about that after the whole self-aggrandizing football fiasco earlier. But whatever, they’re back together now. Woo.
Things wrap up the next day with Sav and Holly J in the student council room. They’re stunned when Fiona and Anya walk in, even though they weren’t doing anything particularly scandalous. They all stand around awkwardly with coffees until Sav asks if Fiona and Anya will help them count change from the dance. Fiona refuses because she doesn’t like touching Coynes. Not after last summer.
And that’s it. You know what? Fuck the long-winded analysis this time. I can’t pretend to care about this episode enough to act like there’s anything warranting me acting like I remotely know what the fuck I’m talking about. Drew and Alli are a bad couple. Holly J and Sav will—by their own admission—end their relationship by graduation at the latest. The only plot that comes close to being interesting is Connor’s middle aged cyber gf, and it barely gets any screentime here.
Enough. It’s taken me nearly a year to scrounge up the motivation to do this, and it’s solely so that I can move on to the rest of the season.

The interior designer and social commentator Nicky Haslam has just released the latest annual version of his fabled tea towel, on which he lists some more of the things that he “finds common”. (This year’s entries include Bond Street, coriander, divorce, porn, Stanley Johnson, hydrangeas, foundations and side plates.) Far be it from any of us to suggest culprits for the next one, but I do think “being angry with Meghan and Harry” should be a contender. Let’s be honest: there really isn’t much more desperately naff than allowing oneself to be conversationally infuriated by the commercial behaviour/comings-and-goings/mere existence of “the Sussexes”. It is hugely infra dig.
And yet the couple continue to drive swathes of people quite mad. For a huge throng of the vicariously enraged, this week’s release of the cover of Harry’s forthcoming memoir has once again proved a ticket to near-apoplexy. The book is to be called Spare – a hilarious and brilliant title, despite kneejerk criticism of it from people whose own books are called perfectly gopping things like “Diana’s Babies: Kate, William and the repair of a broken family”. Given Spare isn’t out till January, we’ve no idea yet of the quality of its content, though I note Harry has benefited from Andre Agassi’s ghostwriter. So we could be in for more unforgettable and award-winning sections on hair loss in the public eye.
We hardly need to recap the backstory with the duke and duchess, but for the sake of form let’s go once more round the houses/palaces /mock-Mediterranean Montecito mansions: Harry and his wife were made so clearly and understandably miserable by royal life that they resigned from it, and have since become a pair of frequently unbearable Californian wellness bores wafting round the same ghastly smalltown farmers’ market as Gwyneth Paltrow. Hey – it’s a living. I’m sure we’d all cross the street to avoid having a pint of improving green juice with any of them. But ultimately, so what? If the Sussexes wish to continue living their life as a lucrative soap opera – and you surely wouldn’t be publishing yet another version of “your truth” in book form if you didn’t – then it isn’t really the worst thing in the world, except arguably for certain members of their families who their haters don’t know socially.
Quite why Harry can’t simply be shunted into the “annoying, but amusing” category that Gwyneth herself has long occupied is unclear, even if he hasn’t yet suggested past lives therapy or popping the Koh-i-noor diamond up your fanny. Instead, the Sussexes draw more online and offline ire than homicidal and genocidal dictators. This feels somehow … uncool, on the part of the irate.
Perhaps, like me, you can’t quite work out in whose service the extreme anger at Harry’s every move is now unleashed. It supposedly used to be on unbidden behalf of Queen Elizabeth II, but now she is “sadly passed” (a phrase which also features on the Haslam drying-up cloth this year), it’s hard to decide for whom all this category-5 curtain-twitching fury is occurring. Is it for King Charles, who graspingly accepted literal suitcases of charity cash from a former Qatari prime minister, with one such holdall containing more than a million euros? The new sovereign also gratefully received – against all advice – a £1m payment from a member of the Bin Laden family. Yes, perhaps it is on Charles’s behalf that people are against anything that feels like an absolute pisstake by someone who is already beyond super-rich.
Either way, one does start to drift off a bit when people suggest the Sussexes are not very talented and should not have this path to vast unearned wealth. Perhaps not. But life isn’t fair. Most importantly, can royalists ever really get into the deserved-riches argument? The British royal family’s stupidity has been internationally reputed since at least George I. In an actual meritocracy they’d probably be unemployable, or podcasters. Instead they cut ribbons several days a week and lead an obviously straitjacketed existence of public duty, in return for living like kings. Sorry – living as kings. I can’t help feeling that those who are more angry than anything at Harry and Meghan’s pathway to vast unearned wealth are so close to understanding why they’re really angry – and yet, still so far away.

RETRIS: Despite his everything, he’s pretty chill! We’d probably get along! Also he makes, like, so much fucking money, so it’d definitely be a comfortable arrangement. He’s a very, very good friend, too, and very caring.
AJAX: Cool dude, seems genuinely fun to be around. Movie nights will be a blast. I will have to force him to pay for the holes he punches in the walls at random, though.

I’d be functionally immune to her penchant for Psychological Warfare. Also, she’s cool, and I’m supporting her journey into therapy.
RUFIOH: He would watch TikToks out loud and maybe have a few annoying opinions but otherwise would be a pretty ok roommate. Hard to keep settled down though, which isn’t an issue for me. He would barely ever be home.
PORRIM: Genuinely a very accepting person, but knows when and how to put her foot down, and get shit in order. Very good person. She’s incredibly offline to the point where it’s both hilarious and soul-healing. Ultimate grass-toucher. We love her. She knows Queer History + Theory that you couldn’t even imagine. She’d teach me Knitting. But most importantly, she’d have a Driver’s License.
ARANEA: We would be so fucking annoying if we shared a living space. We’d just fuel each other’s Stage 4 Autism. The essays would be severe in length, niche as hell, and possibly unhinged. She’s very well read, too, and knows what she’s talking about, so I trust her thoughts and opinions on things. It’d be exactly what she needs, and exactly what I need.
MEENAH: She is such a recluse that I would probably barely notice her being there. Pays her rent by leaving an envelope on the counter with a wine glass on top so I can’t miss it. It’s got “RENT, BITCH.” written on it in cursive with a hot pink glitter gel pen. Sometimes she barges into my room and starts bitching loudly about some random bullshit I’ve never heard of. it was by mistful/maya/sarah rees brennan, who took all her fic offline when she went pro, but if you ever want to read it, googling "complete works of maya" should bring up the PDF. i never read it when it was actually posting (i think in like 2006?? i was a child lol) but it was still recced enough years later for me to find it and read it. it's like, very of its time and fanon-y and ridiculous and i think AU because it was written before the last book came out.

People really thought that a mainstream show about a woman who have sex outside marriage, natural children, a man passed over in favor of a woman (even thought she’s the eldest child), and her rivalry with a religious, traditional, and dutiful woman wouldn’t attract incels, men’s rights activists, male supremacists, and conservatives. I admit confusion:
One--have I been exposed to something by this Duxbelisarius person?
Two--are you saying that it's useless to castigate greenies for their misogyny when they, in real-time and real life, attack real women online and offline and I or others do nothing about it? Or are you saying that it's, in general, useless to expose and attack greenies for their misogynist takes?

I mean, I wasn't shocked by the misogyny and awakened incels as I personally rebuke people for their misogyny. If a story has feminist roots (as Rhaenyra's story is a feminist concern), yes there will be incels and misogyny, just as there was for Daenerys Stormborn. And misogyny has always been a central focus in ASoIaF and the tv show GoT, even if not properly criticized regarding sexual violence and such by GRRM himself.
This goes back to the two things I was confused about. Are you saying that it's useless for me to point out misogyny without doing anything else simultaneously?
As for this Duxbelisarius guy, thanks for alerting me and others who might be reading this. I'll keep this person on my list for people to avoid or call out. We shall see.
