It's just the thing to do.....

My daughter has a chair that she rents at a salon, and she's been trying to build up clients. Being a new stylist in a college town isn't easy at all.

I did some work helping a friend backup and transfer his hard drives and got paid $100. I asked my daughter if she had time on her books for me today, and she does. So, I'm going to cycle that money directly into her business. Sure, I'm getting my hair done- believe me, I've been needing it done long enough that I've buzzed my own undercut at least once since I had a proper hair cut. But, this is so great. Because I'm getting to support her business and add another photo to her portfolio of clients to share with Facebook and Instagram. My son is going with me and wants her to line him up as well.

I'm excited. I get to see my girl, all grown up, in her element, doing what makes her happy. 😍 and, she's gonna play with my hair! 15 years ago, she was playing with my hair as I held her brother in my arms.

Life is wild, man. I'm so glad I got to stick around.

A year ago, I did not own a laptop or a working keyboard.

After a cuh-razy health year ...and FINALLY bonus at work, I was able to rebuy the tech I had sold a coupla years ago, and it's in the mail!!!

My designated "personal" office space had been collecting dust, and it collected even more dust post-heart wonkiness.

Yesterday and today, I cleaned it out. Joining a fandom for this stupid TV series has cheered me up so much! I'm creating graphics again, and not just in a burnout-hustley way. I even picked up writing, and it seems like it's gonna stick!

Life is wild. Who says fandom can't improve your life???

Sometimes, I remember I spent a large chunk of my education homeschooled and it's a fever dream. And then it's even MORE wild, because I think about it and I'm like "why weren't there more rules?" because my mom had an MA in teaching and a whole career of experience before homeschooling me, but then I ran into other kids whose parents had no qualifications and no accountability.
