I have another outing tomorrow. Been avoiding outing myself to this friend for far too long out of fear it might change our relationship. But he deserves to know - and I gotta put some trust in the fact that he cares about me enough to support me being trans. It's so nerve wracking though *screams*
#personal posts#trans stuff#we are way too close for him to not know this important thing about me#he already knows me under my chosen name (like everyone) but it's a gender neutral name so he doesn't know I identify as a dude#today i texted him to say that i have to tell him something about me when we meet tomorrow#and he said that he's always there for me and open for everything#which felt nice#but ahh#i'm nervous#why is being trans literally the most emberrassing thing in the world#so much shame shame shame#i feel like i have way too much going on in my life rn#i'm so overwhelmed#but this needs to be done to get rid of the guilt and shame#also#my therapist will be so proud of me if next session i can tell him i finally came out to this friend#because he's been like... 'do it'#and he's right#it's long overdue
