Here me out...
I want more content with little's and caregivers who have little to no reason in canon to care about each other.
Perhaps a villain taking care of a regressed hero.
Characters who only ever interacted a few times in their media yet seem to have the best parent + child vibe to them.
Characters who clearly care about each other but in canon wouldn't be considered good "parental figures"
Characters who haven't interacted in a positive light canonically but it just makes sense that one would be a regressor and the other looks after them little
Characters who just don't make sense but it's a cute idea therefore it works.

Okay, it's like 10pm on a work night and I haven't had any coffee today so my thoughts are a little scrambled BUT. I WAS THINKING.
(About In Stars and Time of course I'm always thinking about that game)
A couple of years ago, at the height of Steddie -my sister was big into it and recced me some fics okay- I read this fic about Steve dealing with time loops ("The one in which a time loop is fucking exhausting" by badpancake) and there was this specific detail about the epilogue that stuck with me.
It was the idea that, once the time loops were done and over with, people would slowly start to remember bits and pieces of what happened in earlier loops. After being fractured for so long across dozens of timelines and experiences and outcomes, time was finally healing, and broken shards of lost memories would find their way back into people's minds.
And that got me thinking about a post-game what-if scenario where the same happens to the gang as they travel through Vaugarde.
Like they still don't remember everything -just bits and pieces. Experiences so emotionally charged that they found a way to cross the sands of time and reach them again.
The question is, what would those memories be? The first answer that comes to mind is some of Siffrin's deaths, of course. I can't imagine watching your friend get pancake-d by a boulder would be pleasant, nor witnessing them turning their own dagger to themselves. Or offering him a slice of your favorite snack only for him to go into anaphylactic shock in front of your very eyes, for that matter!
But there would be other instances too, wouldn't they? Death is not the only thing that shook them to their core. What about their first death to the King? Or Bonnie's fate at the end of Act 3? What about basking in the blissful feeling of victory against the tormentor of your land only to turn to look at your friend and know something is very, very wrong?
What about fighting through the House with a party of 4 instead of 5, bloodied, confused, staring in the face of the King knowing you're about to die and wondering why your friend left you all when you needed them most?
I honestly have no idea where I'm going with this, but I've been rotating this concept in my head since this morning and thought I'd get it out on here so y'all can suffer with me tehee

TWSB is a romance novel isekai subversion story. You know, the escapist genre that there r 2353533535 kr webtoons/novels for... i got reincarnated in my fav romance novel as the villainess yadayada THAT genre. but a twist on it!!!
TWSB is for fujoshi(fudanshi/fujin) who would rather ship the 2 male love interests in a romance than have a love triangle with the female lead... TWSB is also for poly/throuple/trio enjoyers (whether platonic or not ur choice). And old women yuri enjoyers. And people who enjoy novel isekai subversions like orv and surviving romance (and SVSS? i havent read but ive heard comparisons)... /ppl who think novel isekai premises Could be interesting but find so many of them boring cliche or wasted potential... and people who like fun worldbuilding... or ppl who r interested in the premise "typical shoujo romance novel plot gets derailed and ends up accidentally becoming a non-romance action fantasy which is also highkey extremely gay"..... *dangling a chocolate croissant in front of u* ooooh u want to read twsb so bad wooooo is it worki

when the final scene of stranger things is a grown-up will byers at his kitchen table, drawing, and he calls out “hey, sweetheart? can you bring me my good eraser?” his husband walks out of their home office with the eraser in his left hand, wedding band glinting, wordlessly handing will the item.
will smiles up at him. “thanks, michael,” he teases, and mike leans down to kiss him. “you know, you still need to finish your part of volume 5 before we can send this out.” mike stands up, huffs a laugh and gently rubs will’s shoulders.
the camera focuses on what will’s been drawing—the first draft of a graphic novel. will reaches forward and flips from the early page he’d just been sketching on, which depicts the dnd campaign from s1e1 and will getting captured by the demogorgon, and flips to the end, which depicts the Party saving him in s5 (which we’ve just seen earlier in the episode).
“remember?” will points at empty speech bubbles on the page. “this was all happening in your perspective. i was literally in a trance. i can’t fill it in for you,” will laughs, a mirth-filled sound that radiates through their cozy kitchen and living room.
“oh my god, and especially this part.” will flips back to volume 4 of their comic, showing frames of will and mike in the pizza van. “you left all your thought bubbles empty, babe. lucas and dustin are brutal when they edit our shit, you know they won’t let it slide—”
“yeah, yeah,” mike smiles. he sighs as he reaches down and traces his fingers over the thessalhydra on the final pages of the novel. “will?”
“yeah?”
“this is gorgeous.”
“oh, stop.”
“…and i wanted to ask you—“
“yeah?”
“do you think anyone will believe us?”
the room falls silent. will knows what he means—are readers going to believe that this really happened to them and their friends, that this is really their love story? or are they going to think it’s pure fiction? just a metaphor, maybe? and the bigger question hangs between them: do they want people to believe them?
mike clears his throat and continues. “i guess i should ask you what i’m really worried about. do you think people will… like it?”
finally, will’s face breaks into a beaming smile. “oh, yeah. the smart ones. the ones who know what it’s like to be… different.” will leans back into his husband’s arms. “it’s late. we should sleep. el is picking us up early tomorrow, remember?”
“oh yeah, that’s right. she’s really excited about teaching that yoga class.”
they laugh together and roll their eyes lovingly at the thought of their best friend, and will gets up from his chair. he starts to follow mike into their room, but gets stuck on the image of the whole Party physically pulling him from vecna’s clutches on the final page.
mike notices and peeks out from the hallway. “hon, you coming?”
“yeah,” will says, and he smiles fondly, thinking about how lucky he is to have the people that he has, and to have been to hell and back with them. “yeah, was just looking at a couple things.” he sighs and closes the book, and follows mike. his voice trails off as he says “you know, i’m still not sure about the title…”

In Stars and Time AU where Siffrin finds a cat. and the cat is looping with him. so like, the cat remembers stuff and Siffrin can bond with the cat over the loops and the cat can join battles and level up just the same. like imagine. in one of the loops Bonnie yells at the cat so in the next loop the cat is scared even though Bonnie doesnt remember what happens. idk just. in stars and time but theres a cat looping with siffrin. idk man i think that would be cute.

pretty sure you said that doki doki literature club was an inspo for you at one point, so what do you think would happen if redacted met monika?
✦゜ANSWERED: Yeah!! I really liked the general vibe of how creepy-cute DDLC felt and wanted something similar for 14DWY... Aaaaand because I'm into the gurokawa art style >:3c
But canonically, [REDACTED] probably wouldn't even acknowledge Monika's existence if I'm being honest ^^; She's just another insignificant roadblock to him, and he wouldn't care whether or not they have gamebreaking abilities or yandere tendencies.
But in saying all of that, I don't really feel comfortable with others comparing 14DWY with other games/characters unless I bring it up first. It's purely out of respect for both creators (imagine building a passion project only for everyone to talk about something bigger/better/unrelated) — and also because it usually gives people the wrong idea about my characters ;v; (I can't tell you the amount of times people have asked me about Hannah being in a cult; all because they thought Ren was similar to 707 T_T)
#The last part isn't aimed at you at all btw!! I just get a lot of comparison asks involving my inspos and it's tiring /lh /nm#People don't seem to realise that taking inspiration from something doesn't mean taking the entire concept#707 was an inspo for Ren because I liked how he broke the 4th wall#But everyone assumed it was because he was a hacker with a twin#I stopped talking about Ren wearing glasses because of this too T_T#If I could make one wish; it'd be to ask people to stop comparing characters and start seeing them as their own standalone person instead#Like imagine if I compared you to your sibling/friend/role model because I saw one single similarity......
