My Top 10 Favorite Breaking Bad Universe Characters
1. Howard Hamlin - this one is kinda silly bc he is much less developed than other characters, but I can’t help it. His tragedy hits so hard, it took a character whom I didn’t really care about and made him my absolute #1 fave. Rest in peace Howard you deserved better🥺💔
2. Jimmy McGill/Saul Goodman - Gilligould really took a look at their whacky comic relief lawyer in Breaking Bad, and said “hmm, what if we made him the absolute most complex and fascinating character in our entire fictional universe”. And then they did.🙌
3. Jesse Pinkman - God his story hurts. He had one of the best hearts in the whole show, yet he suffered more than ANY other character. His character goes from loveably silly to absolutely heart shattering. I hope he found some peace in Alaska.❤️
4. Walter White - I just can’t help but love this horrible horrible man. He’s goofy and ridiculous, but also insane and egotistical in the most entertaining way. What a great protagonist, he’s compelling when I am rooting for him and compelling when I am praying for his downfall.
5. Chuck McGill - IMO, the best antagonist in the whole BrBa universe. The Jimmy vs Chuck storyline was TOP TIER, Chicanery was a masterpiece of an episode, Lantern and Winner are just dripping with tragedy and sorrow and what-if's. And it's all because of Chuck. Rip Chuck, you may have been a prick but damn if you didn’t make this show the brilliant piece of television that it was.
6. Kim Wexler - no character gives me more mixed feelings than Kim. I always liked her in the early seasons, then I despised her in s6a, then my heart broke for her in s6b, and now I retroactively have so much more love and sorrow for her earlier self because there was so much good there and she could have been so much better and GOD Kim is such a tragic, amazing, well written character.
7. Skyler White - oh my god, my poor wife. You deserved so much better than what the audience gave you all those years. You were a queen, and so right about everything, and I am so sorry I didn’t see it before but now I will defend you until my dying day❤️❤️❤️
8. Lalo Salamanca - he’s just so insane and silly and entertaining. He steals every scene he’s in, and in my opinion added some desperately needed charm and charisma to the cartel side of the show. Legit was rooting for him against Gus, even though he killed my boy Howie and I knew he was doomed to fail.
8. Nacho Varga - Like Jesse, he went through so much despite having one of the most decent hearts on the show, and it all culminated in such a tragic yet powerful death scene. And I love love love the idea of the curse of Nacho Varga dooming Gus, the Salamancas, and the Cartel for their sins. His ghost looms over Breaking Bad, and makes both shows much richer as a result.
9. Cheryl Hamlin - she fascinates me, we see very little of her and yet I loved her scenes and want to know more. I'll also not tolerate Cheryl slander, we don't know what was going on in her and Howard’s marriage, and in the end she stood up for him when nobody else did.
10. Mike Ehrmantraut - to be honest, I'm not the biggest Mike fan. Not because there is anything wrong with his character per se, but I find it a bit annoying how the fandom idolizes him as a loveable grandpa/moral criminal when he actually is kind of horrible and not all that different from Walter. That being said, I do love what they were going for in BCS, showing his slow corruption as he keeps going back into the world of crime to avoid dealing with his grief for his son's death, culminating in that amazing scene where the show calls him on his hypocrisy and Manual Varga tells him 'you gangsters and your justice, you are all the same'. I just wish it was explored more explicitly in the narrative and fandom the way that Walt and Jimmy's moral corruptions are.

I really liked this episode. It was just a fun action one with some nice emotional lines sprinkled in. It feels like we still have a lot to wrap up by the end of the season though so I hope they can pull this off.
"No-one knows the coordinates" is not really something we need to be dropping 3 eps before the end of the show but I trust the showrunnners to handle this

I'll start with @shyranno, whose art I absolutely adore. her style is so clean and expressive and colorful, and she makes amazing comics. the TBB Downtime series is exactly my kinda Clone content, filled with lots of fluff and feels. the "baby" batch ones are my favorite, but I'm also fond of this one where Tech gets teased from not being able to grow a beard 😜
another artist I really love is @zaana! she also draws a lot of really sweet and funny moments with TBB, and I'm super fond of her more sketchy style of drawing. she's got a "Crosshair defects the Empire" AU about Cross rejoining TBB sometime during season 2 that I love soooooo much. honestly, all her stuff with Crosshair (especially the ones with Omega) is top tier. although I think my top favorite is this one with Hunter and Crosshair (which @questforgalas also wrote an amazing oneshot about!); it's so simple but so sweet, and I automatically love any wholesome content between these two 🥰
then there's @lightspringrain, who makes beautiful portraits of TBB. I've been wanting to buy some of her prints (and will absolutely do so once I have the money!!) because they are seriously gorgeous. her "Crown" series is the best, it's so lovely! and she does an amazing job capturing the style of the show! to no one's surprise, my favorites are the Hunter and Omega moon crowns. the Hunter one is legit one of my favorite art piece ever; it's been my lockscreen on my phone ever since I saw it 💙
someone I recently started following is @thattoothpick! after seeing her "TBB Happy on Pabu" comics, I had to see more. the best way I can describe her style is "soft". everything is just so soft; the lines, the colors, all of it. it just makes me happy 😊 I have two favorite pieces; the first is this one about Hunter and Crosshair from the Pabu series. literally made me cry. I need this to happen SO badly 🥺 and then this one that I refer to as "the Sad Batch"... oh man. also had me crying (but also simping for obvious reasons LOL) 😭
now for a big one. I can easily say my favorite SW related artist of all time is @lornaka. her art... holy crap y'all. it's so freaking good. she makes everything from simple portraits to stunning dynamic pieces, and I'm obsessed with all of it. she even was featured during SW Celebration last year!! she's that good!! \o/ I have a few favorites of hers. which obviously includes the TBB poster she made for Celebration. still sad I couldn't get my own copy of it 💔 then there's this... lovely portrait of Hunter from behind. oh Lordy 🥵 and finally, my top favorite is actually this simple portrait of Hunter. I had it as my lockscreen for a LONG time. it's just... so good. the colors, the stars, his expression... I'm still obsessed 😍
finally, I can't talk about amazing artists without mentioning my sister @jam-n-ham. her art account is @joyjababanoid. y'all. please just scroll through her TBB art, you will not regret it. I've always adored her cartoony and expressive style, and it makes for hilarious Clone content LOL. she did a bunch of drawings for Inktober last year, solely focused around TBB. she's also done some comics that I've had a part in helping her develop (specifically the Padme pin-up art and the AZI going on a mission). but my absolute favorite is by far the Valentines collection. y'aaaaaaaall. I had the Hunter one as my phone background for over a year haha. she knows how to personally get to me, let's just say that 🥵
oh, and one last thing I wanna mention is that the one thing these folks all have in common, aside from being fantastic artists, is that I love how each of them draw my bae. seriously, y'all draw Hunter so good, and I'm smooching each of your different versions of him 🥰😘

I know I haven't made a whole "my thoughts on -insert star trek episode here- for a while [I've been so busy and surprisingly to me doing a sport for two weeks straight will murder any energy I have]
BUT THIS WEEK WAS THE SNW SEASON 2 FINALE AND I COULDN'T NOT TALK ABOUT IT.
FIRSTLY. Chapel, babes. GET THE FUCK OVER SPOCK HOLY FUCK. Spock, babygirl, GET THE FUCK OVER CHAPEL. You two are not soulmates, you will never be soulmates. I am tired of watching you two hold hands and look in each other's eyes while you could be GOING BACK TO THE SHIP HOLY FUCK MOVE.
SECONDLY. WHAT THE FUCK?!?! The Gorn are shown to be a highly advanced society capable of fucking WARP. What the actual fuck is SNW doing trying to push a "they're monsters that eat humans and babies" narrative. YOU MURDERED A CHILD. NO FUCKING WONDER THE GORN HATE YOU.
THIRDLY. Batel and Pike are kinda cute together I can see how they're meant to be together. Kinda weak making Batel get bitten by a Gorn but go off SNW- make some decisions. Would've been way fucking cooler to have Batel get into more action without getting bitten just so Pike can have some sad man moments. But what do I know? I'm not even out of high school, I cannot possibly fathom what is going on in these people's minds.
SPEAKING OF WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON IN THESE PEOPLE'S MINDS- WHAT THE ACTUAL FLIPPITY FLAPPING FUCKING HELL ARE Y'ALL DOING ON A COVERT MISSION WITH SEVENTEEN MILLION LIGHTS ON YOU. THE COLONY IS BURNING AROUND Y'ALL- THAT'S ENOUGH LIGHT HOLY FUCKING SHIT IF YOU DON'T WANNA BE SEEN BY THE LIZARDS WHO YOU DECIDED ARE CANONICALLY SENSITIVE TO LIGHT DON'T WEAR FUCKING LIGHTS.
Also Chapel uselessly looking out the window to stare at the Enterprise was so fucking stupid. I get her flashlight didn't work but also like- she had an HOUR until she ran out of oxygen/life support. Where is the hustle? Personally I would be having an actual legit panic attack as I searched for a spacesuit and extra flashlight instead of just staring at the Enterprise and calling Spock's name.
ALSO [In my opinion that means nothing] THE "TO BE CONTINUED" SCREEN FUCKING SUCKED. The ending was not satisfying at all in an "I wanna see more!" kinda way. It was more of a "LET THIS "ADVENTURE" FUCKING END" kinda way.
In my opinion the only thing that saved this episode was Scotty, my role model and the biggest reason why I wanna do aerospace engineering. That man was amazing and stole the show for me, every single time we had to cut away to see Spock and Chapel be annoying I just wished I could see Scotty again. He was so fucking cool and so fucking nerdy and just the coolest man ever.
Speaking of introducing legacy characters: next season they have to bring in Bones McCoy. And I guarantee it's gonna be top-tier because SNW seems hellbent on just ruining Spock and Chapel atm. But if they touch the grumpy country doctor and don't give him and Spock the stupidest yet so in character reason for them to just start bickering like two old woman at the bazaar I will riot.
All in all- a "what the fuck was that" episode. Loved Uhura, Pelia, Scotty and everyone else but Spock and Chapel. Their actors I have no ill will towards [I think they're both super cool and I'd love to meet them someday] but I just cannot actually stand their characters in scenes together. That's just me tho!!

i often feel sad with the results in this first half of the season but today was the first time i felt legit offended. anger, really. the highlights of the races have no longer been about how the person who won it deserved it, but how ferrari’s fuck up led to the results. iñaki rueda has been for a long time lacking, and in 2020 we had the excuse of the car being shit while in 2021 the gap between ferrari and the rest of the field (from both sides) was enough that the results weren’t noticeable, but now that we have the best car on the grid, the fact that his mistakes haven’t been nipped in the bud a long time ago makes the difference now. i can’t be mad at charles losing the rear on france because it’s an on track mistake that can happen and it’s part of the sport, but 4 stops with hard tires are completely insulting, especially when there is a radio to charles just a few laps prior saying that hards were a horrid choice. they have no idea what they’re doing and it will be a slap on all of our tifosi faces if the same team comes back from the summer break. if i am embarrassed and i’m just a fan, this shouldn’t go lightly to mattia binotto and john elkann who at this point are the laughing stocks of the grid.
and don’t even get me started on how i pray that charles isn’t having second thoughts about ferrari, which he should be by now. while every driver dreams of joining ferrari, especially if they have enough of an ego to think they will be the ones to win with us, there isn’t a talent in the current grid or upcoming that matches what charles has, while there are at least two top tier teams that would gladly empty a seat for him. can’t even blame him if he wanted to go either

Yes. All of the above. OKAY as true as that is, really? The vibes are immaculate. The aesthetic, the attitude, the style, hell- even the Dominoes Sponsorship /j Everything about Nathan is just chef's kiss. I love how they are just unapologetically themselves. Like UEGH even in… the Rising movie when they're going through that dream/memory/nightmare sequence and then snap out of it at the end by like hugging that younger version of them. Like it legit makes me tear up cause I see it as… Nathan being the version of herself that she needed back then. To just show herself a little bit of self-love. And it's just beautiful to me! Nathan Seymour is beautiful inside and out for real.
5. What's the first song that comes to mind when you think about this character?
SAME AS YURI I'M SO SORRY-- THE FIRST THOUGHT WAS "GIRL IS ON FIRE"
I promise I understand fire motif characters have more depth and that I'm just a slut for Alicia Keys, but TBH it completely fits Nathan a whole lot better.

Also "She got her head in the clouds, and she's not backing down." Like not to talk about Sky High but like! Sorry I'll just never get over her riding on Sky High's shoulders as he flies around okay.
12. What is a headcanon you have for this character?
I'm not too sure how much of this is actually considered a headcanon but I definitely believe that Nathan and Kotetsu have had a fling before. Super casual, no hard feelings afterwards, just a super cute temporary fling. A flame, if you will xD Like, maybe they one of them needed a date for a wedding or a plus one to some fancy event and they just had a really really good time. It's silly but their friendship just means a lot to me yes.
18. How about a relationship they have in canon with another character that you admire?
What if I sat here and sobbed about Fire Emblem and Sky High for ten years? What if I laid on the ground and made you a sweater of my tears?
Like not even just because FireSky is a top-tier ship for me romantically but like? Even just their partnership as buddy heroes is just so wonderful and wholesome like. I love that in their episode in season 2, their "conflict" is… Thinking the other one is too perfect. And too good. That's just? It's so sweet and I can't handle it. They're so different from each other but in the best way possible. Like peanut butter and jelly. Different but they go together so so so well. Nathan is sassy and fierce while Keith is golden retriever goober man. They compliment each other so so well.
One day I will finally finish (start) the one shot idea I have for them but sadly I fail at completing things fjao;efi

This is hard because Nathan is so freaking iconic but like…. if I had to pick one out…..
Okay same as the last ask I'm having such a hard time but! If I had to shove them into another fandom that I love, I think they would fit So well into Ace Attorney (Imagining her as a witness or even a guest prosecutor would just be so much fun) or into Jojo's BIzarre Adventure, Part 6 Specifically (I would just love to see them interact with some of the Stone Ocean ladies.)

I don’t want to be negative for the sake of being negative, goodness knows there is enough of that shit online as is, but what Viv did with Helluva Boss really pissed me off. And I’m not even a fan of the show.
She spent months hyping up the epic two part season finale only to then turn around and say “Actually you know what? Episode seven was the real finale and episode eight was pointless filler. Please watch season two in July!”
Just.....wow!
But wait, it gets worse! For you see, “episode eight” is just going to a glorified animation reel.
Because in Viv’s world, breathtaking animation = great show that is completely immune to any and all criticism.
You wanna know why so many people liked Arcane? It’s because the show was well written. People gave a shit about the characters and story, it wasn’t just “Oh this show has amazing animation 10/10!”
Helluva Boss’ biggest problem is that it has nothing going for it outside of its animation. It’s the textbook definition of style over substance.
Yes, it’s always great to have top tier animation quality but no amount of pretty images can hide shitty writing and characters.
This whole thing wouldn’t have pissed me off so much if Viv’s fanbase wasn’t so goddamn annoying. They really cannot stand the idea of someone criticizing Viv and her projects, because in their minds she’s the only one who can save the animation industry, when in reality the animation industry seems to be doing just fine.
I legit feel sorry for all the animators whose talents are wasted on this show.

I didn't know that slow horses were books until i read your pinned post! do you think that the tv series has done them justice?
Yes it does, anon! Highly recommend giving them a try.
And if you're willing to bear with me, see below for my personal journey with Slow Horses show and how it got me to the books~
It all started with seeing a mutual on Twitter talking about the show. We usually have similar taste in stuff we watch, but seeing the title "Slow Horses" made me think of a cowboy drama sort of thing 😆, so I didn't really pay mind to it. (Slice of life dramas and such aren't really for me 😆✌️)
Eventually I got curious and checked it out on TV Time and lo and behold, it was a spy show!! (Context: spy genre legit my top fave heh)
Add that to the fact that I am a huge Alex Rider fan, and I've seen this fancasting of Jack Lowden's Slow Horses character as Alex's father (shout-out to weak-hero !)
So I decided to check the show out one late Friday evening. Told myself I'd only see one episode, but man, it hooked me in so well, ended up finishing all six 😆
I got so into it, that I wanted more, so that's why I went into the books. After all, it was stilm a few months before season 2, so I had time for that. And no regrets 'cause the books are phenomenal!
Season 1 has to be the one of the best book-to-screen adaptations I've ever seen. They changed very little and the changes they did make, just made the show more cinematic.
By seasons 2 and 3, they made way more changes but you know what, I don't even mind. What I love about the show adaptation is how faithful it is to the energy and themes and tone of the books.
The Slow Horses continue to be bumbling fools that end up with the most absurd and dangerous missions. It's such a unique perspective to focus on the losers instead of the best super spy yada. And the fact that they are a "not found family" haha, like, they are forced to work together despite how much they hate each other is so amusing.
Each characters are so unique in their voice and motivations (shout out to Sean Barrett for his excellent audio book narration!) and grounded in their own ways, and by grounded I relate it back to the popularity of super spies, who can come off more superheroic in their talents. But no, Slow Horses loves their failures and so do I.
The dark and sarcastic comedy is top-tier. Jackson Lamb's lines alone are a feast of laughter. The political intrigue will grate on you for how annoying people at power are, playing with lives of people just to get what they want. It really has all the elements I could possibly want from the spy genre, and the show managed to capture the essence, which for me is the most important thing in making adaptations.
In conclusion, if you loved the show with its tone and themes, there's a huge chance you'd also enjoy the books, so give it a try! And if the books aren't for you, that's okay too. You will always have the show.

I'm rewatching Friday Night Lights....
And I swear I find myself crying every episode. Idk why lmao I just start crying at almost every scene. Even when something sad doesn't happen, I still cry. The theme song even gives me the feels. I also just finished the episode where Smash finally gets an offer to play, and he's playing his last game with the boys on the Panthers football field. I legit started bawling my eyes out. It gets me every time. And seeing Street become a father and fight for his family and their financial situation, I'm crying anytime he's on screen singing and talking to his baby.
Don't even get me started on Matt Saracen, aka QB 1, aka the loml. He forever has my heart. The way he cares for everyone, especially his grandma, ugh it destroys me. When he pretended to be his grandpa to ease his grandma out of her dementia episode. A king.
Riggins is so fucking hot. Like fuck.
I also see so many parallels between this and One Tree Hill. Maybe it's because OTH is my all-time favorite show, but so much of what I see on FNL. I find myself saying, "Didn't OTH do something like this?" lol. Smash reminded me so much of Nathan. The whole fighting to be a professional athlete despite their struggles. Chefs kiss.
Coach and Tammy, being so supportive of one another, feels so much like Naley (another top tier fictional couple).
Season 2 Julie/Matt = season 2 Naley lite. There are so many damn similarities, lol.
Anyways, watch Friday Night Lights if you love small town vibes and feeling nostalgic. Also listen to Scott Porter, Zach Gilford, and Mae Whitman's podcast covering FNL

Legit, I always love reading your thoughts on Steek and seeing the ideas you have for them, whether it be your mood boards or playlists, I enjoy your ideas! You are THE Steek shipper to me so I really value your perspective on them and keep some of your posts in mind whenever I try to portray them!

To answer your questions, I’d say Tweek is my favorite from the show, but Stan had definitely settled into also being a major fav of mine! When I was first watching it, I went into season six a bit bitter about Tweek taking Kenny’s spot but… he’s just a little dude :3 Simpsons Already Did It is one of my top favorite episodes lol Stan was a surprising favorite but I guess following him and his friends around the most, I really liked the way he was characterized and the struggles he deals with? I also love Kenny content 🥺🧡 Anything and everything for Kenny lol
Anyways, here are some of my top favorite ships!! As you can probably tell, my sisters and I have a lot of overlap in the ships we like, and tend to influence each other a lot lol I’m a multi-shipper who generally likes a ton of ships and also really enjoy crackships and rare pairs cuz of the untapped potential of interactions that could happen! I also enjoy polys but for simplicity I’ll put just pairings here! I had tried organizing them in a tier list but… it ended up as a ranking list anyways so…
Stenny - I actually surprised Kim a lot when I first brought up that I liked her old flame lol My first and my fav ship, there’s something about them that makes me extremely happy and I can’t quite explain it. It probably has to do with their personalities and interactions, but I can’t really articulate it into words haha I also love all the fan created content of them! They’re lovely and adorable 💖
K2 - The OTP of my sisters means a lot of amazing fics recommended to me that makes it hard to not love lol I’m not picky about how the dynamic is portrayed, I’m always down for these two together! They baby 🥹
Steek - <333 SO much love for these two! Like I had said you were definitely a big reason for it. Plus why NOT ship your favorite characters together? They both have a tendency towards destructive patterns that I think the other could relate to, especially with seeking validation on their feelings? I think potential interactions between these two are severely under explored so I’m always searching for more Steek content!
Revin - OKAY. This one was definitely a ship I shipped from the show before looking at the fan content lol Constantly seeing them together in the background just reminded me of playground crushes, and their moments were small but cute. AND THEN WHEN THEY BROKE UP I WAS DEVASTATED. CONFIRMATION THEY WERE DATING AT THE COST OF THEIR BREAK UP AND NEVER SEEING THEM TOGETHER AGAIN 😭 We’ve also headcanoned their personalities quite a bit and so I like to think of them both being a bit airheaded? Kevin constantly thinking about his sci-fi and Red seemingly not pay attention to things around her? Kevin calling their fruits sandwiches and Red just going along with it was also funny even if it’s just an animation error lol ALSO KEVIN BEING SO SAD AT THE BAY OF MEMORIAL PIGS DANCE AS RED DANCED WITH TOLKIEN I CAN’T 😭 I love little background details the most when it comes to characters, I think.
Crenny - Again, Kim was a big influence in me liking Kenny ships, also Crenny has some of the most beautiful and heartfelt works I’ve ever seen and read? I think things would be pretty easy with these two and they’ve had some good moments together!
Cryle - I know people say they don’t interact much but when has that ever stopped me lol They’re both stubborn in different ways, Craig more passive and Kyle more confrontational, I think? Like, I really liked the scene in Fishsticks where they’re both advising Jimmy. They were basically indirectly arguing against each other and I think that’s such an interesting and fun dynamic lololol There’s enough there for me to enjoy them together!

Creek - Just LOOK at them lol. I do admit I like them a lot in the show but don’t seek them out in fanworks but they’re great <3
Stendy - I HAVE A LOT TO TALK ABOUT THEM TOO. Like Stendy is complicated but they’re also elementary school kids, of course they’re not gonna know how to relationship properly. But they’re still so messy?? And it’s just on their personalities mannn. I think Stan very much takes his friends for granted sometimes and especially his girlfriend. And Wendy isn’t a part of his friend group enough to really be comfortable discussing their faults? Like obviously he’s done some things and she has as well but things are always resolved offscreen or brushed aside so we never really see how they get over it. Basically they’re cute when he’s pining or when they’re domestically together and supportive but when they’re just not paying attention to each other they’re difficult lol
Stolkien - Another ship from the show, I think their interactions are always so fun, especially in the later seasons 🥺💕
Staig - I love rivals lol I think fandom plays up their hatred for each other a lot but Scauses really convinced me that they do notice each other lol That and Craig likes stirring the pot a lot XD

HIIIIIMEEEE-SAMAAA!! I've only barely found you by accident (totally was not even expecting anything even remotely this amazing cuz I'm fucking picky af lol) and I am LEGIT OBSESSEDDD! Your content is PURE JOY/TOP TIER and has made my day/week on several occasions and bruhhh life has been roughhhh this year so that says a lot! I've only seen season one of MHA but now I'm in love with these characters, your portrayal, and hands down spot-on embodiment of them, that I want to go back and watch more! Your Bakubrat is growly fiery perfection in every way (looove his loud, harsh, desperate sneezes <3) and soo fun and hilarious with all of his angry snarky comments/insults/banter which is why he makes the best victim and just my absolute fave lol your recent wav Harpy's Prize was such a masterpiece but I love and listen to all of your content on fucking repeat because you're seriously soo talented at voice acting and creating these immersive, enjoyable, and engaging scenarios/scripts and dynamics with all the sound effects, characterizations, and everything! There was so much to love about how Ted Lasso ended. There's one thing that seems like it might be a minor detail for some, but to me was just great. (Spoilers, obviously)
This was one of my favorite things about the finale. It's a demonstration of Ted's "It's not about me" sentiment writ large for the whole team. The fact that she still keeps the majority of the shares tangibly shows that Rebecca still cares about the club despite her thoughts about maybe pulling out when Ted left. And it hits me personally too, because it mirrors the real-life English football team I follow, AFC Wimbledon.
There's a whole story, but AFC Wimbledon was founded by the fans/community after their old team was moved to a different town, and to this day they are a fan-owned club, currently competing in League Two (The fourth tier of professional football in England, because Ted's right the names make no sense). Hearing their story is why I started following soccer ~10 years ago, which is why I developed an initial interest in Ted Lasso last year. And now it's come full circle in a way that legit just kind of, to quote a certain youtuber related to the other major 'sport' I follow, "Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy in my tum tum."
I don't know if it's a deliberate reference or not, but I love it all the same. The Dons unfortunately finished this season in 21st place, just barely escaping relegation down to the Semi-Pro level, but they're still here and damn it, I believe they can pull off the dream.
Meanwhile, the US-based team I simp for is at the top of the table. Go Sounders!

29. Favorite film?
This is also hard because nothing immediately springs to mind. Movies I’m always down to watch include Princess Bride, Mad Max Fury Road, and literally this is not a joke - Shrek (both one and two). I also really love LOTR but not in a crazy way, just like I can throw that trilogy on over the course of the day and get sucked into just watching all of them in one go lol.
30. Favorite TV show?
My comfort show has been futurama since the dawn of time but I also like parks and rec a lot, bojack horseman fucked me up. My brain meat is so overloaded with anxiety that I really only watch weird competition shows anymore.
43. Favorite song?
December 1963 is legit one of my all time fave songs. But I also really really love Poke and I Wish I Was Sober by Frightened Rabbit, Shrike and Would that I by Hozier (basically hozier as an artist lol) and a lot of glam rock, surprisingly. I’m also like a sleeper Panic at the Disco fan because I wouldn’t actively say I’m a fan but I also know all of their songs and enjoy listening to them. MCR will also always hold a place in my little emo heart. This was not the question but that’s my answer.
56. Favorite foods?
Ice cream is top tier in any form. A well seasoned and well cooked steak with a simple butter sauce and garlic mashed potatoes, scallops rule, breakfast food is so good, especially pancakes and French toast and the sweet stuff, nachos and tacos, sushi, lol I am a fan of food in general, especially stuff I haven’t tried or stuff that is creative or super homey and comforting.
