Many ways exist for one to start a story.
They can write a duel. A confession. A query. A mansion. Or even introduce a character if they wanna.
But no.
You don't start your story any of these ways.
You start it by screeching. Then fainting.
If not totally, quite a bit– oh, who are you even kidding– you're totally freaking out, girl.

Sadder if you're dying with so many dreams unfulfilled.
Saddest if you're dying in one world, only to find yourself in another world, before realising you'll die [again] in this new world.
Sounds like one hell of an overdramatic overreaction, right?
It won't when your eyes open to a person with black eyes and black hair and bangs. Next move to the 2014 in bold on the wall calendar. Then finally fall on the traditional Buddhist monk robes worn by him... Oh, no way in hell—
A terrified shiver racks through your body; you try your best to hide it as you smile politely at the man.
"Um, hey."
Geto looks at you blankly for a while longer, before cracking a genial smile. In another universe, he would have made an excellent actor, you're sure.
"How are you feeling now?" he asks warmly, moving from the sofa to the chair beside your bed; you really wish he didn't, "You sure do look much better than when I found you."
"I'm better now," you reply, still smiling despite not really wanting to. Then add, wanting to continue your tirade of politeness as a survival tactic, "Thanks for bringing me to the hospital, by the way. I'm sure I would've bled out from my injuries if not for you. Thank you, Geto-san."
Whatever response you might have expected, a pair of wide eyes certainly wasn't a part of them. Geto looks at you, baffled, for another moment, before coughing up a visibly startled chuckle.
"Ah, there's no need to thank me, Miss. I was simply doing what I deemed right. Though I must say..." He trails off for a beat, before resuming, a smirk playing on his features, "I'm pleasantly surprised to see you interact with me so freely. I was thinking you might run for the hills on waking up and seeing me the first thing, from the way you screamed at me earlier today."
"Haha, sorry," you say sheepishly, not knowing how to form a seemingly legit reply.
You definitely cannot say you were scared shitless then, seeing a 2D character in the flesh. Even more for it being the genocidal villain from your favourite anime movie. No, you definitely cannot even utter that.
You ultimately decide to settle for something half-truth-y, "I was terribly shocked then, I think. Not in the right mental space after being hit by a vehic–"
A ringtone cuts you off in the middle of your strained apology. For the first time in your life [lives?], you feel happy for being interrupted while speaking. The man plucks his phone out, wrinkles folding his forehead as he glances at the screen. Only to cut the call in the next instant, shooting you a contrite smile as he rises from his seat.
"Sorry to cut short our little talk, Miss," The man sounds genuinely apologetic; you know better though, "But I'm sure we'll meet again. Soon enough. There are many questions I need you to answer, you see."
"Of course, Geto-san," you chuckle, sagging in relief inside when he finally, frigging finally, steps towards the door. And quite possibly– no, definitely out of your life too. 'Cause there's no way in hell you will let him meet you again. New world or not, you know you have to AND YOU WILL get as far as possible from this–
Geto pauses. One hand on the doorknob. Head twisted slightly to show you a closed-eye smile.
"I never introduced myself once tonight," he hums, "nor did I find you on a road. I found you in the middle of a deserted forest."
A second passes. Or maybe ten. Or maybe sixty. You don't know. You're too busy panicking to know.
Your savior's [more like, future slaughterer's] smile grows impossibly wider. The air feels impossibly colder.
"Goodnight Miss," he says, opening the door. The lights from the room spill into the dark corridor outside. "We will meet again."

Okay. *inhales and claps hands together* I just got done finally catching up on things. Spoilers under the cut. :)
my thoughts. Are ALL over the place right now. I have words do describe how absolutely gobsmacked I am, but don't have a planned way to put everything so bare with me. So with that said.

So many things about dragons holy shit you guys holy shit. Can I say how absolutely GORGEOUS the two teacher dragon designs are like on god?? I forget their names but the purple one is so freaking gorgeous and the black one. Is so complicated.
Like in general everything about this season just absolutely screams to me anime like. dude??? When they showed the Five in their prison thing??? That was some freaking anime shit right there. Literally had like flashbacks to that one dangerous group in Naruto that had nine people in it but this was five but s t i l l
There were so many shots where I wanted to take screenshots because oh my god they were so pretty but Netflix doesn't allow that (fuck Netflix for that personally) but dude the Fighting too?? The animation and lighting and lore and story building and ho ug h/pos
Also holy shit I'm so glad that Jay isn't being portrayed as hiding from the others so he doesn't have to do his job like I feared he genuinely forgot and that's so sad because Nya misses the love of her life (SHE ACTIVELY CALLS HIM THAT TOO AAAAA) and the fact that Lloyd got panic attacks??? The amount of dragon lore we are FINALLY getting is so much and so sudden it's hurting my brain but I am not at all complaining right now this was the level of story telling that I absolutely adore it's so full of stuff and it's a goddamned lego show. "You sure you wanna go? I get a little intense at these things," Jason says with a laugh, wiping off the lenses of his glasses on his hoodie.
"What makes you think I don't wanna be able to cuss in public and not get stared at for it? I'm all about it."
Jason chuckles and watches as you put on your New York Liberty t-shirt, affixing a NY Liberty temporary tattoo on your cheek.
"You are goin' all out, aren't ya?" he asks, coming up behind you with his hands on your hips, watching you peel off the paper.
"Oh yeah. This is gonna be great."
...
You make your way to your seats, low near the floor, and you meet Jason's friends who are sitting next to him. They smile seeing you're as invested in this game as he is.
The first quarter brings excitement. Jason's on the screen, along with some other celebrities in attendance. You smile proudly at him.
"Is that ever weird for you?" you ask during a timeout. He shrugs.
"A little. I'm just a fan like anyone else here, really..."
A steal by the Liberty means you're both on your feet, clapping, shouting. When one of the women gets a foul that doesn't look legit, you're back on your feet.
"Fuck that! Where are your eyes, ref?!" you shout, and Jason chuckles.
"She's... pretty into this," he tells his friend, who smiles and agrees positively to your enthusiasm.
You open a pack of candy and without taking your eyes off the court, offer the box to Jason, who takes a few pieces.
"You like Sour Patch Kids, too?" he jokes, smiling at you.
"Duh! The best."
Another incredible steal and a three-point shot by the Liberty and you're on your feet, jumping up and down and clapping.
"Yeah! Hell yeah!" you shout, and Jason's right there with you, shouting and clapping. When you sit back down, he leans in and gives you a quick peck on the lips, smiling brightly.
Fans are taking photos of the two of you, splashed across social media.
Always love seeing Sudeikis at the Liberty games. Looks like he's got an enthusiastic friend to join him!
Got a run for your money, Sudeikis! She's as into this as you are!
TFW a couple enjoys the same things with the same enthusiasm.
Jason's friend shows him the last tweet and Jason blushes and smiles. "That's my girl."
"GO GO GO! Yes!" you shout, clapping and keeping your eyes trained on the action.
"What do you wanna do after this?" he asks you, leaning into your ear. You don't let your eyes leave the court.
"Whatever you wanna do, sweetpea," you answer. "GO! Yes! Make that three!"
He can't stop laughing. Every time he tries to get a moment with you to himself, you're back on your feet.
...
The game ends and Jason gets photos with the team, and one of the women asks him who you are.
"Love seeing fans like her," she says, and Jason smiles.
"Yeah, she's a pistol!" he replies.
"We could hear her. She's got a set of lungs on her!"
Jason laughs again. "That she does."
When you leave the stadium, your voice is cracked from yelling and cheering, and he smiles at you as you make your way back to his Brooklyn home.
On the way up the stairs, he gives you a kiss.
"I was hoping to be the reason you lose your voice," he murmurs to your lips, his hands finding your hips under your t-shirt.
"Well, well, well. Looks like you'll just have to be the one to finish the job then, eh?"
Jason tugs you inside and closes the door.
"Is that a challenge?" he asks while he lifts up your shirt and walks you backward toward the bedroom.
"I dunno, you gonna call a technical on me if I say yes?"
He growls as he kisses your neck, your hands unbuttoning his jeans.
"I could be persuaded to let that one slide..." he murmurs against your neck, his greedy hands tugging you closer and leaning you down on the bed.
"Well let me see if I can convince you then, ref."

CLONE HIGH (2023) EP. 8 SPOILERS
Okay, I know I’m opening up myself to a bunch of arguing but like... We need to have a talk. I should preface this by saying I’m not a die hard fan of Clone High. I only caved into watching the original series a few days before the reboot dropped despite hearing about it for years. I think they’re both good but I have my problems with both.
But I wanna talk about Topher Bus, a Christopher Columbus clone in a Gen Z world. He’s kind of taken over the role of Ghandi as Abe’s best friend in the revival, since the creators don’t want to bring him back unless they know they’re gonna be able to make more seasons. He hasn’t had a lot of screen time or development because the abundance of characters in this version. However, him becoming somewhat close with Abe has resulted in some fans shipping them.
So imagine their surprise when Topher tries to blackmail (or white leverage) Abe at the end of the final episode because he is attracted to Joan as well. I’ve seen so many people actually get angry about this. Many found themselves disappointed that Topher wasn’t straight or that he’d do something so terrible to Abe.
To which I say... Why would you expect anything else from this guy?
Topher’s whole thing was that he was an asshole who tried way too hard to convince people he’s progressive or an ally or “woke”, a term he unironically uses. He goes on and on about how he’s looking out for poc and women because he’s just trying to survive in a world that has flat out rejected his clone father.
“But he has a ‘Everyone is Welcome Here’ rainbow flag in his room!” Yeah, he does. He also has a co-exist poster, too. Good for him. Except there’s also a poster that says “Not a paid activist”. It’s a front! That’s the point!
“But he keeps trying to drill it into everyone’s heads that he’s straight, like a closeted person!” Yes, he does. But it’s not just closeted people who do that. I went to a Catholic school and I also live in the real world. I’ve seen dudes be afraid to drink tea or hug because it might make them look “gay” or “feminine” or whatever bullshit.
“The way he said he liked Joan and white women in general was so exaggerated that he must be forcing himself to say it!” This is Clone High! Everything in this show is so exaggerated. From the very beginning, it’s been a parody of teen satires. It was created by the duo that would go on to make Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, 21 Jump Street and The LEGO Movie. This is their style.
“The episode would have been better if he blackmailed Abe into not confessing to Joan because he had a crush on Abe.” So you’re saying you would have liked the episode more if Topher had gone “Abe, the reason I almost got you molested by a teacher was because I’m in love with you”? I need you to realize how fucked that is.
Topher is a weasly little shit who tries to convince everyone how progressive he is when he’s actually a total asshole. That was the point. Y’all thinking he was in love with Abe or that he had Abe’s best intentions at heart just means that it worked. You took the bait. I’m not saying shipping Tophabe would be immoral (okay maybe after the whole statutory rape thing but that’s just for right now). There’s a solid chance that their friendship could be salvaged after this. I certainly never thought I’d ship Cleo with anyone but know she and Frida are my OTP. But you gotta stop pretending that this character is someone he isn’t.
I might delete this because I’m just trying to get my feelings out. I’m not calling anyone stupid or whiny just because they got upset by the new episodes. (Shoutout to my boy, @warcrimetime. Sorry they took JoanFK from you so soon). This is just another case of me getting annoyed by people calling queerbait just because a ship didn’t become canon and me getting everything out of my system. (But also, if Joan does see Topher’s blackmail and her reaction is anger at Abe and not “HOLY SHIT YOU WERE MOLESTED?!” then that would actually be legit bad writing).
TL;DR:
Although, maybe I’m just not upset because I got Kahlopatra and you guys lost your OTP and I just don’t understand, I dunno.

Life is Strange 2 thoughts/feelings/review
So, Life is Strange 2. I finished the game yesterday and watched the other endings today. Things are not as fresh in my mind as if I had just finished and I talked a bit about it in other places so this feels a bit hard, but I'll try to lay down all my thoughts...
First of all... All my homies love LIS2, fuck you if you don't like LIS2! Seriously though, for years I've seen people say that the game wasn't good, that the characters weren't as good as the ones from the first one, that the Sean/Daniel relationship wasn't that interesting... I kinda did suspect it was just nostalgia goggles or whatever, but now I know for sure. I don't think there's anything wrong with connecting more with LIS1 and having a deeper relationship with it, but in this case I think you shouldn't even be comparing them and expecting the game to live up to that to you in the first place.
Now, onto the actual game. God, this was so fucking heartbreaking. I think I cried in every single episode. The very core premise of the story is just so sad, so unfair, and despite the powers so rooted in reality that it left me legit feeling uncomfortable with how fucked up their whole situation was. There are good moments, sure, but honestly every single thing that happens from the moment their dad is shot is just... Not how their life should've had to be.
Sure, LIS1 and BTS had dark themes too. But here, it's like, they lose everything from the beginning. Sean doesn't get to go to his party, to hang out with Lyla, to continue his normal life in any way. Daniel loses a part of his childhood. They're both forced to grow up so much faster than they should. There's a line Sean says in episode 3, and it's just a little idle VO, but it fucking crushed me, "Stop overthinking. You're not a teenager anymore". Even though he's fucking 16... He's 16 and he has to essentially become a parent. I knew what the game was about and lowkey followed it a bit when it was releasing, knew a few spoilers, but that didn't make anything any less heartbreaking.
I thought it was beautiful how the game took the opportunity to showcase and celebrate alternate lifestyles. The "family", Away, their freedom and how they interacted with society brings so much into perspective. I'm still a bit conflicted about Karen tbh, but I'm glad that at least they did show something beautiful through her story.
My biggest problem overall is probably how they handled the Finn romance route... I knew back when the game was releasing that despite adding a male LI, they pushed the female one more onto you and gave her more content, while locking the option to kiss him with a "bad choice" (I didn't know what exactly it was). And yeah, that is still true. I still think it was a mistake to lock the kiss with accepting the heist, and while I kinda understand the writer's explanation for that, I still think it could've been handled in another way, or they could've just let him kiss you and "betray" you by doing the heist anyway, since he still does that when you're friends lol.
I see people complaining that because they moved from place to place each episode, there wasn't enough time to connect with the characters... Idk if I'd say I disagree, but it just wasn't really the case for me. I was very invested in all the relationships, in Finn, Cassidy, Jacob, Chris, Karen. Everyone at the farm was cool and everyone in Away too. Lyla. You get so many tidbits about the characters even when they're not there on screen. The only thing I have to say which is kinda related to that, is that I think the time jumps were maybe a bit too big, and that the way they handled Mushroom was... weird.
I got the Parting Ways ending, and I'm satisfied with it. I kinda planned to get it, but only in the sense that I was spoiled that you get with Finn there. I didn't know that the whole morality thing had anything to do with it, and I played the first two episodes without even knowing that there was a points system about that and about brotherhood. I just made all the choices that were high morality (besides killing the cougar and the heist) because it was what I would do, and tried to be a good brother for Daniel. I figured that choosing to cross the border would most likely give me that one, but I just couldn't accept Sean having to go to prison for 15 years for something he didn't even do. If we were able to choose between Parting Ways and Blood Brothers, then I would actually be conflicted about which I wanted.
With the way the game's system works though, where you need to have low morality to get Blood Brothers, I couldn't really do it. I can't imagine myself teaching Daniel to be selfish and not care about killing people. I actually think it's super cool to watch Daniel use his power offensively and fuck shit up, but it just wouldn't be my version of the story. It's funny because, if we just played as Daniel, I wouldn't mind going that route. But since we play as Sean, with it being our job to raise Daniel, I feel a different kind of responsability towards leading him to become a good person. I also think it's beautiful that he gets to have the rest of his childhood, teenagehood, and live a "normal" healthy life with his grandparents. He does it in the redemption one too, but as I said, that just screws up Sean too much.
So, I'm a little disappointed that they're separated (and maybe can't ever see each other again? I'm a bit confused about Daniel's situation and whether he could visit), and that it's a bit shorter than the others (at least than the redemption one), but it IS the ending my playthrough led to and in that I'm satisfied.
I think this story is just incredible. It touched me so much, and the fact that some people can't see it genuinely frustrates me. The people complaining it's too political in particular can just go fuck themselves. It might not be perfect, but like with all things I appreciate, I'm just so glad it exists.

A/N: I legit have no idea if I have ever posted this. I couldn’t find it anywhere on my blog but I loved it, so here ya go. :)
Pairing: Santiago Pope Garcia x F! Reader
Warnings: 18 + for language, light angst, fluffy ending.
You slumped into the chair and sighed, mentally preparing yourself for the afternoon of work. It was hard to concentrate, but you did your best and reached for the power button on the laptop, hand freezing at the flash drive sitting on the top with a sticky note. Watch this.
You hesitate for just a moment before the curiosity gets the better of you, and you put it into the computer and load the video. You watch your mouth open as the video shows your boyfriend, Santiago, pacing in front of the television at Frankie’s house. You want to turn it off; the fight you two had three days ago is still fresh in your brain, but something stops you.
“I’m a fucking moron,” he runs a hand through his curls and tugs, “she will never take me back. How the fuck could I say that to her?!”
“What would you tell her if you could talk to her right now,” Frankie asks, and you watch with bated breath.
Santi pauses and turns toward the camera, “I would tell her I love her. I’m sorry; I don’t want her to leave me.” He growls and turns away, “Fuck!” he shouts, and you jump, reaching to turn down the volume. “I would tell her I didn’t cheat on her.”
“How is she supposed to know that? You didn’t call for a week, she was terrified something happened to you, and then when your phone does pick up, it’s another woman.” Frankie knew everything you had come over sobbing the day it happened.
“It was my informant! I tried,” he sighs, “I tried to explain that to her, but I was just so angry and defensive about being accused of something I didn’t do. I fucked up Frankie, I yelled at her. It made her feel like she had done something wrong. I love her so much. This woman is my world. I want to marry her, have babies with her, get a dog, and now I’ve lost her.”
“Maybe not pendejo,” Frankie stands and claps a hand over his shoulder. “Let me talk to her, convince her that you are sorry about getting mad at her and that you are innocent. Anyone can see that you love her Pope, and she loves you too.”
Santi nods and rubs his eyes before walking off towards the kitchen. Frankie watches him walk away and then comes back to the camera staring straight into it and smirking. “Did you hear all that? He’s sorry and an idiot, but he loves you. He needs you, and you need him. You know where to find him.” The screen fades to black, and you wipe the tears from your eyes and reach for your purse and keys.
You open the door and run out to your car, hands shaking as you pull out of the parking lot and over to Frankie’s house. Santi is the only one home, the others out at work or daycare. You run up to the door and knock loudly, and after a moment, when no one comes, you knock again insistently. “I’m coming!” Santi shouts from the other side, and you tremble. He opens the door and freezes, “Querida?”
You don’t wait and throw yourself into his arms; holding him tight, he returns the embrace, almost bruising you with how tight he holds you. “I love you,” you cry, the tears staining his shirt, “Frankie left me a video of you, and I am so sorry I didn’t let you explain.” He pulls you back, and you see the tears in his own eyes as he rubs them from your cheeks, drawing you in for a kiss.
“I’m so sorry, Querida, I love you so much,” he chants against your lips, intermingled with his kisses. Everything felt right back in the arms of Santiago, and at that moment, you knew everything would be okay.

Hello all Happy Tuesday. We venture towards the end of S1. Thank you all for the love been getting makes my whole day/week. This episode is a gif desert legit one I can use haha So it'll be all screen-caps with my phone except one gif and this desert one haha My assumption is this will change as we get into later seasons. This one was lacking for sure in the gif dept.
1x17- The Shake Up.
This episode has Chenford separate which explains the lack of gifs tbh lol It's still a really good Lucy wise. We get a look into her family dynamic by meeting her father. We also get to see Nolan get the Tim treatment LOL Off we go.
Cold open gets me right in the feels. Nolan spotting Capt. Anderson’s grave during an arrest in the cemetery. Talia gives him a moment to pay his respects. A really nice scene. God she was so young. Love the nod to her after last ep. She deserved it.
A opportunity comes up during roll call to watch a protected witness. Nolan jumps on the chance. Talia instantly shuts it down. Says it's like watching paint dry. Grey tells him he's out of luck. Then Tim jumps in. Surprises the hell out of everyone. Says he'll go with Nolan to protect this witness. Heh you know Tim’s doing this to get a rise out of Nolan. Test him see what he’s made of. He’s ridden with the other two rookies and not him. John seems nervous af LOL it makes me laugh so hard how uneasy he looks.
Tim’s face LMAO I can not. Disgruntled with him from the get go. I’m fairly certain he doesn’t think much of Nolan. It has nothing to do with his age. It has to do with his personality I believe. Its the rambling he can't stand the most. I think he wanted to test drive Nolan see how he would do cause well Tim be Tim. He is going over the acronym and procedure with him as they’re leaving. Instantly thrown in deep in with Tim. Nolan goes on a rant and Tim just cuts him off by getting in the car LOL
They arrive on scene and meet with the DA. Tim is slightly offended when Delmonte thinks Nolan is in charge haha Let’s him know right away he is a rookie. Also cutting off Nolan’s convo with the DA about Jessica. It’s funny Tim is such a hard ass with everyone except Lucy. Now that is much more true towards the later seasons but still holds true in S1. He's softer with her than he was beginning of the season, but you can see the contrast between Lucy and anyone else easily. Watching Tim with John total night and day difference in his demeanor.
Also needs to be noted how vastly different these two are. This shot alone shows they're complete opposites. Their outfits show this more than any words ever could. John is dad clothes all day and Tim is a sight to see let’s just say that. Heh.
Something that is a plus about this ep is Talia/Lucy riding together again. I do love seeing them being paired up. This is a much better result/dynamic this time around. More of a mutual respect there. No Nolan garbage looming over them. On their first call they rescue a teenager from his mother. His girlfriend called it in concerned and rightfully so.
His mother had been torturing and dehydrating him in order keep him from his girlfriend. Doing some religious ritual or exorcism of sorts. Pretty damn awful to watch. Lucy asks if he’ll be ok. Talia says physically yes but mentally not for a long time. Good setup for the rest of the ep Lucy. Bit of foreshadowing with her father being brought into the picture.
As they're walking away she gets a call. Lucy asks if its ok to take it and Talia seems more than fine with. Its about her father. Talia overhears Lucy was going to wait to end of her shift to see him. She lets Lucy go right then and there. Talia is pretty great about it. She is the entire time for Lucy. Tells her it’s family when Lucy asks if it’s really ok they go and see him. Much more redeeming pair up this time around.
We get a first look into Lucy’s dynamic with her parents and it’s not a pretty one…Her father is a therapist and was attacked by one of his patients. Lucy naturally wants the guys name so she can go arrest him. Her first instinct is justice for him. He fights her on it says was just a dissociative episode. That his patient didn't mean to hurt him. Lucy battles back and says thats irrelevant, the law is clear and she should arrest him.
He doesn't respond well to this....Tells Lucy that the law is broken. That she is working for a broken system. Very combative with her from the jump. Lucy tries to use some reason. Tells him this isn’t the solution though. To pretend he didn’t break his arm. He goes on to say this is better this than arresting his patient for it.
Then after he's insulted her profession does a one-two punch to her gut with his words. He knows this is going to hurt her and it bugs me to no end. The guilt trip being laid down here. I have parents like this. When you aren't doing what they want they do this. The way he tears down her job and her concern for him in response angers me. She isn’t doing this to upset him but to help him. (not that he can see that) Lucy is a loving and protective person. She wants to do right by those she loves. What should be received as her caring is defensive in return. He’s attacking her every step of the way.
Melissa kills me in this scene. Honestly the entire episode with all her interactions with her dad. That look of devastation on her face ugh. I can relate. That emotional dismissal and really almost abuse she’s taking from him. That hurt she’s feeling in his disappointment. I just want to hug her. I too have parents like this so it hits home with me little harder.
I said back in 1x14 with plain clothes day how it seemed Tim was the first person to really fight for her. Believe in her. Support her. Why it meant so much that he did what he did that day. Tim probably has no idea the impact that made on her. By standing by her side the way he did. She obviously has little to zero support from her father in the career she’s chosen. That much is very clear in this exchange with him.
Even Talia can sense the tension from outside the room. Makes a comment to Gino while looking in. Its very evident you can feel chills coming in waves from her father. Lucy is still such a good daughter and stays anyways. Not that he deserves it….
We head back to Tim and Nolan. They have a credible threat for the safe house. Their witness Hayes starts to give a little mouth about his safety. Tim gets into ultra hard ass mode. I don’t hate it not gonna lie haha Doesn’t let this guy get under his skin. Shows no sign of backing down. Mmm. Don’t mess with my Tim.
The episode title lives up to its name and an earthquake ensues. Rocking the hospital in a bad way. I admire Lucy’s gut reaction to cover her father. I just love her so much. So loyal and willing to protect family even when they really don’t deserve it. This resonates with me so much. I too am the same way. Have that Italian familia loyalty drilled into to me. Taking care of family even when they really don’t deserve it.
Shortly after the quake the safe house is under fire. Something about watching Tim in action is so sexy. It’s like watching confidence in motion. Especially in this scene. Also very commanding and sure of what he wants to do. Tells Nolan to take their witness out back. If he doesn’t they’re sitting ducks. Nolan asks what if there is a shooter out there too? His reply is the best. ‘Then you’ll shoot them.’ LOL love this man.
They make it out and head to the beach. Assuming this is a good a hiding spot as any. This is such a good scene. Apart from fact Tim looks fine af just leaning against that railing. Its not long before they're found. They soon figure out Hayes has a tracker on him. That the men that attacked the safe house weren't there to kill Hayes but to rescue him. Hayes makes a crass comment about Capt Anderson. How they should just let him go or they’re gonna lose another buddy in line of duty. Tim knocks him out instantly. Get em' Tim! What a schmuck. Tells Nolan hook him up for them to find as a lure.
They dispatch of the rescue team fairly quickly. Once again love watching Tim in action. There’s a nice little nod between Tim and John once they’re done. Nice to see. He knows how to reward good work. He was crucial in their take down. Tim makes sure he gets a little attaboy hehe Lucy has softened him up a bit for sure.
We go back to Lucy at the hospital. She breaks my heart in this scene. Melissa crushes this 110 percent with the way her voice breaks getting emotional. Telling her father how she was taught to be true to herself. That this job is who she is, that it makes her so happy. (that should be enough) She goes on to say she knows he hates the system. That it’s designed to punish people and not care for them. Then strongly defends herself as a person. Basically pleading with him to accept/and understand her and her job.
I commend how strongly Lucy backs the fact that she can make a difference. That the system can't change unless there is someone in it to fight. After this statement her dad relents a little. Earlier he heard her talking to the victim of that first call her and Talia took. He was in the hallway listening. He heard how the kid's mother was going to face charges but her frame of mind would be taken into account.
That if the son could be a character witness on her behalf they could get her the helps she needs. He tells her she was honest and kind. That he was impressed. You think hey we’re making progress. He’s finally understanding her and her choice in career. Won’t be going after her so much now. Hoping his perception of her has shifted a little.
Then his patient who broke his arm walks in….At first Lucy has no idea who this guy is. Her father keeps trying to shoo him away. Then Lucy being the smart cookie she is puts it’s together. Immediately she has to do her job and arrest this man. You can see the regret on her face but it’s her duty to arrest him. She has no choice. Something her father is failing to understand.
It’s insane to me he could use logic just moments ago. Then turn on her so quickly. He could do the same thing that mothers kid is going to do. Be a character witness and get him the help he needs in the system. He’s so cold to her when she says she’ll be back after his surgery. Tells her not to bother. He would rather her compromise her own ethics and morales for his needs. Sacrifice his own daughter and her career for his patient. She like Tim has a moral compass she refuses to corrupt even for family.
That heartbreak on her face devastates me though. Now don't get me wrong, I’m with her dad with the system being broken. It is. Mental health needs to be addressed more especially in situations such as this. What upsets me is how her father treats her the entire episode. He should be proud of the fact that her morale code is so strong. That she isn't willing to be compromised. Instead he scolds her. Ridicules Lucy. Making her feel small and shameful for her job. When he's just upset she wouldn't bend the rules cause it was his patient.
Basically saying Lucy is part of the problem when she takes William away. When she is one the most empathetic humans to wear a badge. She’s desperately trying to reach out for him to understand. To accept her. All she gets in return is discouragement and emotional abuse. I know that intense reception of disappointment/guilt/shame you get from your parents. It guts you. When they should be building her up and supporting her they do the opposite. She’s so resilient and then you meet her parents and see why she is.
The look of utter devastation as she leads this guy out. Logically she know her father is in the wrong. But that emotional part of you that wants that approval so badly doesn't care about logic. Worst part of that scene is she had it for a split second till it was about HIS patient. When the same procedure can be followed for William. Will it be easy? No but it can be done, things put in place to help his patient. But he can’t see it that way. Only see how its affecting him. Then just like earlier casts her away because he disapproved of her decision.
Talia see’s Lucy writing up the arrest report and checks in. Lucy says she wants to add a mental health report addendum to it. Talia asks if she really thinks that or trying to get back in her fathers food graces? Lucy is firm in her reply. Says she’s pretty sure that’s impossible but knows he’s not wrong. That this guy doesn’t need prison he needs help. (she knew this before and helped out that kid's mother same way but Talia doesn't know that) Tells her was she’s going to do whatever she can to get it for him.
Talia approves and tells her 'Good' Once again being a good person despite her parents. Lucy then asks was that a test? Her reply is too funny haha As I said earlier this pair up was much better second go around. Not dominated by the Nolan BS. They had good rapport and even got a “test” she passed. Rough rough episode for Lucy emotionally though. She at least gets to end it with a laugh and a smile.
This ep gave us some insight to one of her parents. Little bit of her upbringing. We can see why she’s so damn driven to be a good cop. That instinct to prove your parents wrong can be a great motivator. You want to show them how capable you are. So they can be proud of you. Sadly despite her best efforts they seem to only feel disappointment.
Or as we see later with Lucy's mom her thinking this is a 'hobby' for Lucy. Like this was just dress up and a game. She wants her to come back to reality. Once again belittling her dedication and passion for her job. That's a discussion for a later ep though. Sucks when it’s both parents and not just one. Something I can also relate to. Both discouraging and not supportive whatsoever. Trivializing Lucy and her life choices just because it’s not what they wanted for her. Fastest way to drive your kids away and have them never return.

Side notes- Non chenford Didn’t really have much tbh. Whole ep didn’t have them lol I was just hot for Tim this whole ep hahah What else is new I know. They both had really good SL's in this one, but I always miss them when they’re apart the whole time.

My first antihero, and we started YOUNG on that, I was reading these books premiddle school. I was obsessed with these books as a kid, and I'm still obsessed with them today. There's rumors of a third, more adult series when Artemis and Holly may get together and I will EAT THAT SHIT UP I LOVE THEM
2. Vexen, Kingdom Hearts
I Legit think this man primed me to enjoy Hux as a character. Like, I'm not kidding, I was obsessed with him as a kid. I'm 90% certain I wrote deviant art fan fic, but I have since abandoned that account so it's hard to know for sure if it ever got published. I was definitely roll playing at age, like, 13? way too young but god I loved him he was BATSHIT
3. Ianto Jones, Torchwood
Man, I can't really explain how much Ianto Jones as a character, he and Jack's kiss on screen, their relationship, and the events of the 456 changed me? It was DEEP though, I woke up the next day a different person, with much less trust in television writer's and their good intentions.
4. Desmond Miles, Assassin's Creed
We have to jump a few years to mid high school, because no joke I was on that Kingdom Hearts train for a WHILE. I love him, he was probably my first blorbo, before the term was invented. I tried to play the games after (MAJOR SPOILER) but I just couldn't do it. They didn't have the draw without him.
5. Stiles Stilinski, Teen Wolf
Now we've hit late high school, arguably my second blorbo. As a kid with ADHD, he was no joke valuable representation to me, even if it was sometimes played for laughs. I was also the least athletic kid on multiple sports teams who still tried really hard, so I got him, yknow?
6. Will Graham, Hannibal
It's legit tough for me to chose if I like the Will Graham of the books or the TV show better. (Don't ask me about the movies, I haven't seen them, and I probably won't. Movies and I have trouble. See: ADHD.) I'm not sure if he's a blorbo or just like, a regular character I like? My hannibal phase was my last 8 year ship, so the line is pretty blurred.
Now we've reached the part where I dived into a lot of fandoms at once, because I dropped out of college and kind of did a weird spiral? Idk, we've lost chronology is what I'm saying
7. Artemis Crock, Young Justice
god I cannot say enough good things about her and I also cannot express how much (MAJOR SPOILER) made me mad FOR HER. Like it was cruel specifically to her and we should talk more about that, honestly. She was definitely a blorbo, but we're still PRE blorbo as a word in my vocabulary.
8. Darcy Lewis, MCU
My first real fandom bicycle, I ship her with everyone from Loki to Agent Coulson to Natasha. As someone who often feels like the comic relief character in their own life, I appreciate her.
9. Kent Parson, OMG Check Please
My sweet, sweet disaster son. My emotionally constipated hockey boy. The reason captain america is my SECOND favorite character with a birthday on the Fourth of July. I love him, he was amazing, and also my first experience with like, really toxic fandom was being so mad when people tried to equate his canon mental health issues with a noncanon, imagined abuse?? It was wild, I ended up so distressed about it i did have to leave the fandom.

Of Fire and Snakes
Bruh I’m so late today
Pairing: Loki x Reader
Word count: I’ve started putting these in a document after I’m done in my notes just to see how many words there are ⭐️2116⭐️
Notes: Legit I’m behind I should already be writing tomorrows I’m so hurt by my own self. P.s I never made those cookies I forgot to
⭐️Day 21: Handcuffing⭐️
Loki is standing in the middle of the training room. You walk in quietly, watching him. He’s blindfolded as Thor walks around him slowly, Mjolnir sitting off to the side waiting to be called. Thor stops just to the side of him, Loki’s daggers slide slowly from his sleeves and he tosses one straight at Thors head.
Thor shrieks and dodges it, a decidedly ungodly noise. But you’re getting a knife thrown at your head so?
Loki comes at him full force while he’s distracted, jumping at him to stab him in the neck. You lean against the wall and shake your head trying not to giggle. You’ve learned not to interrupt him when he’s sparring with Thor.
Thor rolls out of the way, bouncing up to his toes as he calls Mjolnir. Lokis head snaps in the direction of the wind and he points a knife right at Thor.
“You agreed you wouldn’t use that. Brother do not test me!” You watch as Loki growls in frustration, shooting him straight in the chest with a bolt of green magic. He cracks his neck, walking towards him slowly, he starts to speed up into a sprint as Thor gets up off the floor, swinging Mjolnir. You get pushed flat against the wall with the pressure of the wind as Thor throws it at him. He jumps on it, riding it backwards for a bit before he backflips off of it, tossing a knife straight into Thors bicep. He falls to his knee, using his other hand to call Mjolnir back and crashing into Loki causing him to fall to the floor. Thor pulls the dagger from his arm and throws it down on the floor as Loki pushes himself up, pulling another one from a sheath on his thigh.
“How many of those you think he’s go-“
Tony is standing next to you, sipping a cup of coffee and you look over to him. A dagger comes flying towards his head and your arm shoots out and grabs the handle, turning it around and throwing it back towards Loki, he pulls off his blindfold and catches it, putting it securely back in its sheath.
Tony’s mug is at his feet, shattered on the floor, he looks down slowly, the coffee spreading out on the floor.
“Thanks” he nods at you and you salute him
“Anytime boss”
You smile as you walk over to Loki, a skip in your step. You wrap your arms around his neck and give him a kiss. His hands immediately go to your waist as he kisses you back. Ever since you’d gotten together and Loki had given you his mark you’d both been almost inseparable. You had already fit into each other’s routines as “friends” but now dating you hadn’t realized how much closer you could get.
Loki takes your arms from around his neck and pecks your lips, looking at your wrists. You’re still wearing the golden bracelets he’d given you a few weeks ago, you never take them off. He’d already shown you a couple things they could do. When you were away on longer missions you had the power to call him through them, he’d show up on a little hollo screen and you’d talk for hours until you fell asleep and he shut it off himself so as not to get caught. All of his phone calls were to be monitored and this was a way for you two to have some privacy.
You also had access to his magic through them, not anything crazy because you weren’t a sorceress. But sometimes during a fight you’d call on them to form quick weapons or add a little extra oomph behind a punch. He’d always encourage you to take more, that you’d had no idea how much magic energy he truly had but you were still weary, taking from him in that way.
“I have something I want to show you, maybe we can go somewhere private?” He eases your arms down, and your cheeks heat up and you bury your head into his chest. He smirks deviously and you feel a little zap through the bracelets
“Darling I wasn’t talking about that…though I wouldn’t be opposed.”
You punch his chest and he laughs, holding your hand “Come with me”
He leads you out of the training room, Tony is helping Thor patch up his arm as they leave.
“I demand a rematch later Brother! We were interrupted”
Loki rolls his eyes as he leads you into the fourth training room, there’s five total and this one doesn’t get used as much. It’s more for Wanda because it caters to her magic but she’s off on a honeymoon with Vision and she made sure no one would be bothering them for a good long while.
He sits down on the floor and you sit across from him, your legs crossed.
“Do you trust me, beloved?” He asks as he takes your hands in his. You nod at him, smiling.
“Of course I do”
Your hands start to glow, green sparkles falling from them and you giggle. He’s been slowly getting you used to his magic over time. You’re not sure why he wanted you in the training room though, it’s normally in bed at night when you can’t sleep. He’ll make little creatures for you or project stories for you.
You start to feel a bit weird as they glow brighter, the bracelets warm up a bit as they start to glow as well. He looks concentrated as he holds your hands.
“Do you remember that story I told you? About Thor and I when we were kids?”
You laugh “you mean the one when you shape shifted into a snake?”
He snorts and nods his head “that’s the one…you think you could make one?”
“M-me??? Make a snake? Honey I have the power of a Phoenix remember? I’m not..I’m not sure I-“
“I have the power, Y/N. Come on I know you can do it.”
You sigh, and close your eyes concentrating hard. You feel him get closer to you, his breath fanning across your face as he kisses you, you sigh softly, kissing him back.
“Come on” he whispers “For me?”
Your body feels cold, it never feels cold. Not with the power of Hephaestus burning within you. Your eyes shoot open as a snake comes from your hands, wrapping around both of your hands, it looks like it’s on fire as it slithers around. You stare in awe at the little guy. He seems sweet when he looks up at you.
“I-I oh my god… I” your voice trails off and you gently pet its head.
“You think you could make it bigger?” Loki asks. He’s positively beaming, you’d only ever seen him smile like this once before and that was when you said you’d be his girlfriend, you’re absolutely giddy he’s so proud of you.
“How do I do that??” You ask eagerly and the little snake looks to him.
“Just imagine it bigger, maybe the size of a small canine?”
You close your eyes tightly, taking a slow deep breath. “Alright alright I’ll do a chihuahua. I know I can do this!”
You open your eyes and see the beautiful snake slithering around you, its bigger now its flames glowing as it moves. You squeal and fall backwards kicking your feet in the air.
“Ooh my god this is the coolest thing in the entire world!! Can you believe this?!” Your arms are laid out as you sigh happily and kick your feet again. You hear Loki chuckle as he gets on his knees, he slowly opens your legs and crawls between them.
“I told you that you could use my magic Y/N…. I- I wanted you to be able to connect with me like this” His eyes are glowing green as he stares at you lovingly
“I know Loki.. I was just nervous I’d hurt you. I was nervous I’d take too much.” You go to put your hand on his cheek but you can’t. You look at your arm and it seems perfectly fine it’s still lying there. You try again but it won’t move
“Loki- Loki I can’t-“ you try the other one, trying your best to move your arm. You start panicking as you look at him, a mischievous smirk on his face. He tilts his head at you before your arms move, your hands crossing above your head and locking back into place.
“You little shit you’re doing this aren’t you!”
He chuckles evilly as he leans in closely, kissing you lightly.
“So what if I am?” He asks as he kisses your neck, nuzzling his nose against you.
“H-have you always been able to do this?” You sigh softly as you arch your back into his body and he nibbles at your neck leaving little love bites. You bite your lip as his hands slide up your body grabbing your hips and pulling them against him.
“Yes”
The look he gives you melts your core right there, he’d had the power to trap you like this the entire time and he didn’t. Your cheeks heat up as you tug at your wrists a little and they still don’t move.
“I’m so proud of you” he whispers against your neck as he bites down, a dull ache forming in his path. “I knew I loved you Y/N… but watching you use magic? And not just any magic but my magic?”
He shifts your body a bit and your heart skips a beat. You can feel him against your thigh and he’s big. You gulp and turn your head, looking into those glowing eyes.
“Let me show you just how much power I have, darling.”
Loki has his hand over your mouth, and two more hands on your hips as he plows into you. Your hips are lifted off the ground as he fucks you, his hair falling in his face. You stare up at the second Loki above you, covering your mouth and cooing over how blissed out you look. Your eyes roll back in your head as Loki thrusts into you, moaning and letting his head fall back. Another Loki is leaning against the doorway keeping watch, tossing a knife in the air.
You stare at your Loki, he runs his fingers through his hair as he moves his hips and you have to hold back from cumming right there. He’s gorgeous as his hands grab your ass giving it a squeeze.
“Fuck you’re tight” he hisses as you try to get out of the cuffs to hold onto him, he’s relentless with the way he fucks into you, your tits bouncing provocatively, your wrists getting slightly bruised from the pull of the bracelets. He starts touching your clit, his fingers rubbing hard circles over it and you scream into other Lokis hands, your hips fucking yourself on your Loki. His breathing is ragged as his thrusts become messy, fucking you in time with his fingers. Other Loki leaves your mouth to pull your knees up to your chest, you cry out as your Loki cums inside you your body feels like it’s melting into the floor as you arch off the mats. Let's make Moon Girl's inclusion to the show of the year list legit.
First, let's make this official. Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur is a must watch series. It is so fun, the characters are likable, the Glow Up of the Beyonder, the music is great, and that last episode setting up next season is a real nail-biter. I hope it gets that second season and does well to continue from there. It was not originally planned to be in One Shot because I was planning to watch and love the series as soon as I saw the preview for the opening theme. But then Superman showed up and made it seem like the #1 spot in the end of the year review will be a no brainer. So I’m putting in Moon Girl so there could be competition. And maybe I jumped the gun thanks to this...
For those who don't know, Tiny Toons Adventures is a series about a young set of toons going to Acme Looniversity to learn to become toons. Thing is, you don't really see that story. The first episode focused on the creation of the series. Episodes have them going to school being a plot of a short or the surrounding segments. But ultimately it is a bunch of shorts with Looney Tunes expies. Fifi does Pepe's bit but with boys instead of girls. Plucky does stuff Daffy would do. And for some reason Elmyra got the most screen time despite being an antagonist. She also got a pilot episode for a spinoff series, a full crossover with the Warner Siblings, and said spinoff series with Pinky and the Brain.
Tiny Toons Looniversity is a complete reboot. While they share similar traits, it is its own thing. For starters, there are five main characters to the originals' "it depends on the shorts": Buster and Babs Bunny (yes relation), Sweetie T. Bird, Hamton J. Pig and Plucky Duck. Plucky is the most similar to his original, as he's still an egotistical duck who thinks mostly of himself and at times wanting to make money. But it's a modern egotistical trait. Hamton is the second closest, just remove the cleaning obsession and crank up the anxiety. The other three, they're drastically different.
In the original, Buster and Babs Bunny were not related. So their interactions range from "hummina hummina hummina" to "they're basically siblings". Buster is a Modern Bugs Bunny, which makes him now a Bugs Bunny with 90s mentality for the cool kids. Babs were the best of the two since she got a great gimmick of being an impressionist. And Fields of Honey is my favorite episode. So how does the Reboot treat these two as siblings? Honestly, I really love their interactions. They really do sell a brother/sister vibe and that first episode really sold me on them being siblings but willing to be separate to try new things. Buster is also a great improvement because he gets to be more emotional. Babs doesn't do the impressionist bit, but between her relationship with Buster and her relationship with Sweetie, and even that one time with Plucky really shows she's great as part of any duo.
And Sweetie T. Bird is a HUGE improvement of the original. The original is basically Tweety Bird but louder. Sweetie is a rocker who is ready to cause chaos when needed. She bounces off Babs really well and seeing how fast they became friends really sold me on this series. She's like the perfect foil for the more professional Babs Bunny. She's messy when Babs is clean. She's physical when Babs is more methodical. She enjoys Plucky's Gossip Magazine when Babs saw it as a rival to her newspaper. But they're still friends because there are plenty of things they have in common. Sweetie is also very supportive. She helped Babs try to get a room with her brother even if it means no longer being her roomy. She joins Babs' newspaper. They even enjoy Vintage Clothing after Fifi Showed them off.
As for the rest of the characters, some are basically the same (Dizzy and Max), others have some differences (Fifi no longer being boy crazy), and some very different (Furball talks more in this series than his one voice role in the original). This show also has more appearances from the Looney Tunes cast. Bugs interact more in this than I can recall in the original. Daffy teaches the hardest class, we even got appearances from the Dark Age originals like Merlin and Cool Cat. And while they used Space Jam's version of Lola, they made her Looney in her own way. And with Death Battle having Tom Vs Wile E. on the Tournament of Champions Poll, it gives Wile a new dangerous weapon against his other toons.
Regardless if you like the original or never heard of it, I recommend Tiny Toons Looniversity. I can already tell you it's at the top of the list since I saw all the episodes. And I still need to see the rest of Superman and Fionna and Cake.

Tintin and the Cigars of the Pharaoh
Ok so Ik I’m not one to really make a typed blog post but imo I just really wanna let out my review so far about this game
And honestly it’s not even like a story wise problem, so far it’s all mostly technical
So firstly is the graphics, tbh the graphics for the game are alright since I see they’re lowkey going for a look similar to the film but still stylized , the shading could be a bit better and lighting but again that’s just imo
Next is the mechanics of the game, the game just kinda throws you in there without fully explaining the controls, not only that but it immediately bombards u near the beginning with QTE which ig is balanced out with no big punishment other than starting the sequence over still even so it’s a WAY too much for it to be at the very beginning with multiple buttons used in the sequence.
I personally want to note a moment where I was stuck in a part where you play as snowy and I swear I was there for at least 10 minutes trying to figure out how to exit the area to continue, which I only found out how by opening up the settings and looking at my controls where I found out that snowy could jump then I was able to move on, this might not be the fairest comparison, but I’m also playing Lies a P, a game genre known for its hardships to the player, Lies of p still took the time to explain and go through a route where it showed me the controls on screen and allowed me to practice them.
Controls aside, my main issue with the game is the bugs that I’ve encountered, there have been times where icons pop up even after passing the area that they were in, objects literally disappearing but u can still interact with them, bugs with the cutscenes, and honestly the lipsync in the cutscenes need some tweaking cuz the way they play out is a lil awkward and sometimes out of sync.
Another instance of a problem was were I was playing and it got to a point that Tintin holds a torch and for some reason when you run with it the game just starts bugging out with Tintin, my assumption is that the game suddenly thinks the torch is an object on the area and continuously pushes Tintin back with each move forward, it was quite the bug but luckily it would somehow fix itself after just walking around with it
That could honestly be a soft block if it was worse cuz it’s such a nuisance when it happens
Sorry this is so lengthy and probably rough to read but these are just legit my thoughts I’ve had with the game, like the puzzles are nice cuz it gets my brain working it’s just literally optimizing the game and fixing those technical issues for it, the studio behind making it claim this is suppose to be like a game for newcomers but idk they should’ve at least checked for bugs and such before releasing it
Also this is super small but I don’t like the fact they claim Tintin is 15 in this which tbh his age is ambiguous and this is literally one of the later colored comics which imo at that point he’s at least 18

This has been bothering me since forever... I think one of my biggest problems with Will's character is that the writers are making him an almost complete traumatic/tragic character.
The problem here isn't that Will is tragic or traumatized. The problem is that he is that and only that, without given any legit happy moment. That is weird compared to say, El's character... El is heavily traumatized but the show gives her actual happy moments, so it is balanced out in the writing. She goes through harships in S2, but then she is happy at the Snowball and dancing. In S3, she goes through traumatic experiences, but you can count many happy moments she has with Max in that season that we later see in S4 flashback scenes.
I am not saying this to just compare Will and El. I just gave only one example. I mean, if you sit and think, you can find many 'happy memories' with any other character... with the exception of Will, if I am being honest. So my problem is... Will is given pretty much zero happy moments on the show. If I wanted you to name them, you probably wouldn't be able to. I cannot remember any moment where he is genuinely happy without it being bittersweet, sad or tragic in some way again. I mean, his hug with Jonathan in S4? That was about Jonathan's acceptence but also Will feeling sad and bittersweet because of the situation that he is gay and still cannot admit. He was also heartbroken because of his feelings.
I really cannot remember any happy moments he has with the party members. In S2, he could not even enjoy the Halloween because he was being bullied, seeing the UD and the MF was chasing him constantly. Cannot say he was happy at the Snowball while being pushed to dance with a girl while being gay. Him playing D&D at the end of S1? It is immediately ruined when Will goes to bathroom to throw up slugs and has a vision to the UD. It is once again ruined a second time in S3 when Will has a breakdown and destroys the Castle Byers and has a flashback to the scene where he played D&D with the party in S1, that memory is tarnished and doesn't hold happiness anymore. Just like how the Castle Byers doesn't, because it is ruined. And honestly? What is the reason? The kid has zero genuine happy moments that happened on screen. Maybe you can count 2 moments if you reach.
Music cannot save Will if he gets Vecna'd (not sure if it will happen but i am just talking about a potential S2 scenario and a similar situation might play out to that maybe). What saved Max wasn't only music, it was also the memories/flashbacks. I guess they can bring certain memories with Joyce and Jonathan if Will got Vecna'd. But like. Those moments would be reaches at best, because I am pretty sure those moments involve some sort of a sad, bittersweet background moment or reason behind it in some way.
Well, I do think he has his happy moments even if they are short lived or tarnished later.
Even though his memories are tarnished years later, Will did have a fun d&d game with his friends after coming back from the Upside Down. The game was perfect. His friends supported him and didn't argue and his fireball hit, allowing him to beat the boss. Nothing interrupted the moment at the time, it was pure joy. Yes later that night he gets sick and has a vision, but that is hours afterwards.
In season 2 before he goes to school, he genuinely has fun in his Ghostbusters costume his mom handmade for him. Jonathan the professional photographer took cool pictures of him and had him posing while his mom watched with joy. That was a genuine happy moment with his family. Nothing ruined the moment or interrupted it. It's not until school and later that night when shit hits the fan.
In season 3 maybe you can consider Will helping surprise Dustin as a genuinely happy moment. He's cheesing really hard as they wait to jump out and surprise him. When Dustin is excitedly telling them all about his projects, Will is interested in every single one of them and happily goes along to meet Dustin's girlfriend on his custom radio. Nothing really tarnishes this moment of time. Not till much later when they're almost there and Mike and El ditch all of them.
But it's true. These moments are fleeting and as the seasons go on, it gets harder to find these glimmers of light among the shadow. There is no genuinely happy moment for Will in season 4. Everything from school, to Mike, to Jonathan to Hawkins is bittersweet. I suppose his reunion with his mom could be a genuinely happy moment even though they don't focus on it much.
We must also remember although Will's life was not great leading up to season 1, El's life was.... absolutely horrific. We can assume Will had great times with his friends, cool birthday parties, and dad not withstanding, many happy moments with his family. El doesn't have any of that until she is 12 years old. That's the first time she starts having genuinely happy moments.
I've always felt that Will and El are like yin and yang. Or their lives are almost mirror opposites. El's life started in the shitter, the lowest if the low. The worst. But as she gets older, things finally start getting better. And upward tragectory.
Will is the opposite. His life started sorta ok. His dad was a shithead but you could still say his life at least wasn't supernaturally terrible. But since the day he was kidnapped, his life has been in a free fall. A constant downward spiral where happy times are hard to come by. A downward tragectory.
If this is all intentional, then the writers have purposely created a heaping pile of shit the rest of the characters will have to climb over if they ever hope to save Will one final time. And same for Will himself. He must sort through all his complicated emotions and not let Vecna warp him further if he hopes to escape whatever Vecna has planned for him.
It's almost like a "no one wins except Vecna" situation.
To finish off, I'd like to say, Will's happy memories don't have to be tarnished forever. Right now he looks back at his childhood memories with sadness and distain. But he doesn't always have to feel that way. Maybe he'll be able to look back when he played d&d with his friends and be glad it happened. He'll be able to remember his mom made him that Ghostbusters outfit. He'll remember his big brother has a full catalog of every Halloween costume he's ever worn.
He'll remember the in between moments we didnt see, like going to the arcade to hang out with his friends without having visions. Hanging out with El in California at the skate rink without bullies. His mom giving him a new bowl cut with a brand new bowl she bought in California.
I think there is a lot they can do with this. If they try.

Ignoring Jehtt's parody for a sec
-It was 200 years of Iblis. I legit don't think there's a profit to scamming people into thinking they can save the future. 2-3 gens directly tied to the Great Disaster already are dead, and GUN seems gone too
-We already beat Iblis only to see him reincarnate again. We can already infer Silver beat him many times with no difference. In fact, he legit considers giving up in frustration
-Mephiles wouldn't even be the first suspect. Blaze's fire powers scared survivors, but Silver stood by her (sadly this is in bios)
-The intro CG cutscene notes the generational divorce from the event. No one knew where Iblis came from cuz it's been so long, only that it ravaged the planet for eons. Silver is noted to question the origin, getting nothing
So yeah, I'll take hearing this shifty stranger's new theory, cuz repeatedly killing Iblis 3 million times is doing nothing but exhaust me, regardless if I die to this stranger or not. It's not like I can make this worse (in my context)
Other things;
-Silver's reaction to Meph saying to time travel:
Not "oh yeah I immediately believe you" like 90% of parodies, it's him gauging interest after dismissing the first prompt
Even to Meph saying "Oh yeah, I can time travel" it's more dismissal (though tinged with amazement)
when Meph notes the Iblis Trigger the first time, both Blaze and him just ponder a sec before hesitating to ask if killing him would save the world, their first true mistake. But again, better than just mindlessly killing Iblis over and over
Then Meph bothers bringing articles on screen showing the Egg Carrier's crash and release of Iblis, then the Emerald showing Sonic's visage in the fire (glares slightly more angry), Blaze being perturbed cuz she knows of one, and Meph immediately time traveling them before much of anything can be said in protest
If it were me, I'd have them question how he found this info, with him revealing that he stumbled upon a Chaos Emerald that showed him the image of a blue hedgehog (which he'll show to Silver like OG, only with Sonic expressing better than wood), leading him to do research on him, and finding the article of Elise dying in a crash despite his chase. He'll then note research of time travel done in GUN logs of when they checked Eggman's base after the crash, noting the process being risky. Silver and Blaze can ask why he can't do it, which...I mean look at him, he's deformed and barely hobbling (interestingly nowhere as much as the Shadow release scene, or later twirl), likely frail as heck (we know he isn't if we the audience played Shadow's story first). He'll attract unwanted attention outside supposed fraility, vs how the powerful Blaze/Silver look a smidge more stable. They'll admit having nothing to lose/repetition, then Meph warps them
But otherwise, I feel the Silver bias is glossing events a wee bit too much, and parodies aren't helping. It's legit wanting to break useless repetition that drives most of Silver's hasty actions
"But he looks evil"
The entire world is homeless. Being remotely not brazen is an anomaly if anything (Blaze at least has an excuse)
Also what's he gonna do, jump the guy that has psychokinesis? He looks weak as hell
I still think that Silver shouldn't have jumped to follow Mephiles so easily when the latter spouted out shit about 'Chickens and eggs', especially since it seems he and Blaze just willingly follow Mephilies into his crack den of info he shouldn't have. I'm sorry, but I feel Silver just hopped on a little too quickly. If there was a scene of him and Blaze arguing with each other about going to follow, I'd buy it a lot more than it is now. However, since the cutscenes skip that moment and have Silver and Blaze immediately follow Mephiles to his crack den without thinking, it still comes across to me as Silver and Blaze being stupid, not naive.
I appreciate you trying to help clear out some aspects of this, but without the key moment of Silver and Blaze arguing about going to listen to Mephiles or not, it comes across as an idiot kid being taken by a guy with a white van to me, especially since the only time Silver stops to consider his decision is when Amy tells him to not kill Sonic and dashes off. After that, he doesn't ever really question if he's doing the right thing, and just blindly trusts the guy that showed him a vision of Sonic in fire with a really pissed off look, and not much other information besides anecdotal evidence.

Favorite Movies Ramble: Exorcist III
THis is where I take a movie I love and ramble bout it
In this case we shall look at one of if not the best horror sequel ever (Sorry Bride of Frankenstein ) at least to me :Exorcist III
Before we get into the film lets get into what I think of Exorcist 1 and 2
The Exorcist is a legit great movie though it has taken a while to grow on me .At one point it was considered the scariest film a monicker that has seemingly gone away ,and honestly I am glad that perception of the film as the best of the best made the film less enjoyable cause NOTHING can live up to being called the "Best"and now people can just enjoy it as a very good horror movie .
Exorcist II The Heretic.....Is awful.Possibly one of the worst horror films I have ever seen by the simple virtue it actively refuses to be scary .Thankfully III is a direct sequel to the first film,so II is easily skipable

This 1990 film follows Lieutenant Kinderman (George C Scott ) as he investigates a series of killings similar to that of the Gemini Killer (Brad Douriff ) ,a killer executed 15 years prior ,leading him to a familiar face from his past ....
Where to start? WEll as a horror film.....Its scary .Unlike the original Exorcist where the horror comes from how grounded it is,this film is a bit off ,and I applaud William Peter Blatty's direction .I also like that all the kills are off screen ,cause it makes them more disturbing to hear them DESCRIBED ,the best case of how telling can be better then showing . The film also happens in my oppinion the scariest jumpscare I have seen .I also think the dialogue is very engaging
The acting is all top notch .Now this film had a big hurdle to jump because it follows two characters from the first film:Kinderman and Father Dyer,played originally by Lee J Cobb and Father William O Malley,the former of who had passed on and the latter was a bit busy due to being.....Well a REAL priest ,so recasts were in order .As Father Dyer we have Ed Flanders,who while looking nothing like Father William O'Malley ,still delivers a solid performance.The casting masterstroak however is George C Scott ,who is not only a great actor in his own right (Which I shall go more into ) but he also looks like/is a very similar actor to Lee J Cobb ,I totally buy its the same character. I love the chemistry between George C Scott and Ed Flanders ,they are believable as old friends united by shared tragedy and a love of movies .I also think that Scott really is the right lead for the movie ,as a tough guy cop but a sense of warmth and humanity .OF course,like any Scott performance ,the shouty scenes are the most famous ("ITS NOT IN THE FILE! ITS NOT") but honestly my favorite moment from him is one of subtlety ,when he learns of someones death where he is holding it together but you can tell that if he was alone he would collapse into a wreck
Ah but what is a good horror film without a great villain and in this film we have The Gemini Killer played by TWO great actors :Jason Miller and Brad Douriff .Jason Miller reprises his role(Kind of ) of Father Karras ,the protagonist of the first film who sacrificed his life to take out a demon.See his body is now the home to the spirit of a serial killer played by Brad Dourif ,and we the audience will ocassionally see the killer as Karras or as his true face .Now the reason for this is very complicated so I wont go into it , but suffice to say it works . Miller plays the killer very cold ,and comes off quietly menacing ,while Douriff plays him like a wannabe artist as he gleefully discusses his art and raves and rants about his purpose and his master . The combination of the two performances makes for chillining villain and are easilly the best parts of the film .Also Douriff just describing hi9s murders is simply horrifying
Now while this is a personal favorite of mine,I do have some issues:the studio wanted an exorcism scene so forced Blatty to add in the character of Father Morning played by Nicol Williamson.I like the exorcism scene itself but Father Morning is basically a non character and a waste of a good actor.Also there is a scene in a heavenly train station which is just....Weird
Overall I think this is a very underrated horror film and if you have seen the first it is worth a watch
