since we are sharing things in your inbox: went to a local festival where a band called Faux Fighters played and yes they’re a Foo Fighters cover band
and also there was a country festival in the middle of nowhere in France and it made me cackle but i also learnt how to country line dance?
Lmao did you know i was in a foo fighters cover band? It's been fun but ill take writing original songs over that any day, still I've learned a lot about songwriting from having to learn their stuff. They're very very good at doing choruses that use the same chords as the verse but somehow sound like a completely separate part. I just used the same technique in a recent song i wrote!

i can’t wait for you to watch daredevil season 2 and the punisher and to fall in the Kastle hole (it’s probably not the right way to say it but you get it) with Kelly and I.
ME TOO. I am so impatient, anxious, and excited to get to s2 so I can meet Frank and get into the Kastle of it all. If I’m going to fall into a fic-writing hole for any of the characters/ships on these shows, I feel like it’s going to be for Frank and Karen, for sure haha.

i am actually SO EXCITED for the last of us that i am scared to be disappointed
Well the good news is the source material is A++. At this point it's just about how you condense moments in a 40 hour or so videogame (I can't remember) into a show without losing the character depth and poignancy.
Editing and scene choice will make this shiw. Too many action scenes and it will be run of the mill Hollywood. Too few and the stakes aren't there.
Edit I didn't realize this was going to be a show!
