And into the forbidden bath she goes. My favorite scene in book 4 was when Viper and Flame are trying to nab Starflight and Viper accidentally falls into the lava and Flame gets all scarred. It was a brutal way to go, even if Viper was a right bitch. And I thought the graphic novel page showing it was pretty wicked too.

I actually really like the cannon colors for Viper, the yellow-ish base with grey belly and super dark sail. I headcannon that SandWings and MudWings are both very into tattoos, make-up, and piercings. It's integral to their culture. However, Viper was denied access to a lot of the supplies needed for this. She would see Talons of Piece SandWings with cool tattoos and piercings and be pretty upset when Morrowseer said no (why, because he's a dick). She was able to get some reddish pigmentation from finding some clay near one of the older camp sites she lived at. So she uses this to make a red make-up that she wears often. Much to Morrowseer's annoyance. ( I just think he'd be like a really conservative old man who wouldn't want to besmirch the perfect prophecy dragons).

Messed around with perspective here. Not sure it worked to well.

I actually had a mental image of Knux keeling over dying alone on Angel Island and his bod being left at the same spot he fell for weeks,months or even years. Damn that is what I call angst😭

like... oguhggh.... what if it happened somewhere the animals don't visit. like down in lava reef or hidden palace. no one but the animals of this small isolated landmass even know he exists, in order to notice him disappearing. they couldn't help him if they wanted to...... the animals would never know what happened. no one would ever know. and no one else in the entire world is looking for him.....
