The biggest names in late night have turned their private group chat into a Spotify podcast, Strike Force Five. All the proceeds will go to support their staff during the writers' strike.
I present to you all the solution to the depressing state of late night television:
Weak British man (John Oliver) vs the elderly (Bill Maher) hosted by John Stewart, Stephen Colbert, and Conan O'Brien. It's literally just the two boxing. This would 100% save late night tv.
The aptly-named late-night TV show. Watch nine episodes of its weirdness here.
This show featured a serialized version of Shadoe Stevens' bizarre 1986 sci-fi TV special SHADOEVISION - here it is in its entirety: parts 1, 2, 3 and 4 - and bonus expansion pack parts 5, 6 and 7. He was also the man behind the popular Federated Group Fred R. Rated commercials, the best of which are included in two documentaries about the campaign (one short, one long).

A promotional taste of Shadoevision to prepare (or test) you:
In the very early ‘90s I spent every Friday and Saturday night with Rhonda Shear and Gilbert Gottfried, watching totally awesome bad movies on USA Up All Night. A teenager couldn’t have asked for better hosts, and in the case of Rhonda, she was my first regular Friday night date—in my mind, at least!
