i’m reading bad reviews of the album and i feel insane because you guys know i will critique taylor all the time like without hesitation to the point where some people get upset with me over it but these reviews feel like they completely miss the mark they seem to miss all the irony in the album and the tongue in cheek and sarcastic moments??? like yes i agree its a little overly self referential and it’s not groundbreaking for her and i too tire of the jack antonoff shtick but she’s not actually calling herself a tortured poet? on the title track she’s calling her and matty IDIOTS for thinking they are? idk yall i feel like it’s a great album, while not perfect, i just can’t believe some of the critique im seeing it seems so half baked!
