Quick Question:
Ok I feel a little dumb asking but where do you guys think Lark was gonna go with that starting statement/question when he said 'You and Kane?' Cause technically speaking, Lark already knew at that point what was about to happen regarding Selwyn.
I feel like I was just overwhelmed with all that was already happening and then the events after made me forgot to circle back to this. Thoughts?

Just thinkin about Lark & William, don’t mind me 🥰
William has definitely noticed Lark’s blushing (bc of course he has) BUT he’s been a bit preoccupied
He does acknowledge that dating only outside the Order hasn’t been the panacea he thought it would be (moment of silence for Dylan)
He does not want to acknowledge that dating a Merlin from out of town who isn’t part of the Southern chapter is a nice middle ground btwn mundane Onceborn & another Scion or Squire who would come with lots of baggage (& potentially contrary loyalty issues)
My fav thing about these two is that their values are so aligned 😍 like Lark talks about how he was trained by his da in “the old ways” & William refuses to entertain any thought of unfairnesses regarding his rank, but what those both really mean is that they are ready to show up for their king come hell or high water— I am sooo here for both of them realizing this & understanding that they get to begin their relationship on a deeper level than they ever have with anyone else
Lark actually allows William to do what he can when Lark is hurt which Sel never does, & Will loves this
William’s favorite thing about Lark is his freckles, Lark’s favorite thing is how cool William’s hands always feel to him
William has never personally found out if the infirmary beds hold two 😉 but that’s about to change
Lark’s favorite color has always been Gawain green but it’s so lurid he’s never told anyone this before due to embarrassment lol
William has carefully avoided anything physical at noon & midnight with folks he’s dated previously; it breaks his brain a little when he realizes this isn’t necessary with Lark 🫠
That was kinda random but would love to hear your thoughts on these two cuties!!

Is it just me or does Larkin give golden retriever vibes? Always wanting to keep everyone’s moods up and positive? I absolutely believe that he and William would be perfect for each other. William hardly ever puts himself first. He is constantly making sure everyone is healthy and happy. He is this glue that tries to keep everyone together. He deserves a partner who watches out for him too. To make sure he is also healthy and happy. I think Larkin can be that kind of partner for him. The same goes for Larkin. William would do the same for him as well. I think they would look out for each other. I think they would be such a cute and wholesome couple. 💚

What do we think is the deal with tattoos on Merlins in the Legendborn universe?
Is it just a style* thing? A rite of passage? Do you design them yourself or are they just given to you by a Master? Are they some visual representation of one’s affinity to aether? There’s the one on the left forearm that Lark & Sel share but otherwise they all seem to be different.
(*I think the undercut is purely a style thing but if you disagree I’d love to read that too)
