Review:
A dragon who just wants to spend his days baking but is suddenly stuck (literally) with a hunter who wants his hoard... but the real treasure might be right in front of them. Milo is a dragon who is living a peaceful life, protecting the small town he lives in and running his own bakery. One day a new stranger, or rather hunter appears in town and suddenly before Milo knows it he is handcuffed to said stranger. Xander is a hunter, Xander wants and needs this dragon’s treasure because its what hunters do and what their family expects them to do. Xander needs to secure the treasure but the charming dragon accidentally makes them lose the key and now Xander and Milo are handcuffed together and things are about to get complicated. Xander has only ever wanted to fit in and their family is the only one that has accepted that they are a nonbinary individual, but then there comes Milo, who instantly accepts them, who is sweet, and pretty, and kind... and now Xander doesn’t know what to do with their feelings. Milo has always loved collecting treasures... but now he can’t help himself with wanting this very hot hunter despite everything. Both Milo and Xander were never really meant to fall for each other but the more time they spend together the more they are beginning to realize that the only treasure there is, is each other. This was seriously such a cute story!!! I absolutely adored the couple and how sweet Milo and Xander were for each other. I have adored this series and I can’t wait to see what couple Lana does next!!

Review:
When your rideshare is a griffin rather than a car things get weird, but what’s even weirder is said griffin is actually a very handsome and charming guy who ends up taking you on the best date of your life.... and to throw in the mix your family business is the one hell bent on shutting said griffin dude’s restaurant down... oops. Nolan hates his job, he’s constantly seen as a disappointment by his dad and wishes he could just escape. One day while being almost late to a company meeting he see’s that theres a rideshare option from a griffin and takes it.... and said griffin is named Reid who just happens to be handsome as hell. When Nolan’s meeting is cancelled, Reid offers to take him out to his favorite places because Nolan’s only in town for a week, and what starts off as just a bite to eat turns into something more as they spend more and more time together. Yet when they both discover that Nolan’s father is the one trying to buy out Reid’s small restaurant things get complicated. Both Reid and Nolan can’t stop thinking about each other but with both their jobs on the line and only one week to sort out the feelings between them, can they really make it work? This was such a sweet and cute read, I adored how much Reid and Nolan cared for each other. Their romance was so sweet!! Seriously this was such a cute book and I can’t wait to read more from this author!!

in no particular order:
Severance by Ling Ma (@lingma) - slow burn, melancholic, drifting, hazy, & nostalgic. i wouldn't call it a "sharp takedown on capitalism" as reviews have put it but i did enjoy it. interesting take on the zombie apocalypse
The Masterful Cat Is Depressed Again Today by Hitsuzi Yamada - think way of the househusband x totoro vibes manga series. v heartwarming. all cat owners should read it!!!
The Witch's Throne by Cedric Caballes - RPG-based found family graphic novel series with great art. you can read it for free on Tapas! (warning, it's been on hiatus for over a year on Tapas)
Yellowface by RF Kuang - a take on book publishing and racial dynamics. all the characters are unlikable but i kinda like that it's very plot driven and centered on watching the main character fuck up continuously
Knot That Serious by Lana Kole (@lanakoleauthor)- cute polyamory omegaverse with two bakery co-owners, an architect, and a sales dude. and the men kiss!! very important to me in polyam dynamics

Tutto gira intorno al f1sting (an4le), c'è però amore (?) a prima scena insieme e personaggi un po' poco sfumati. È stata comunque una lettura particolare.
The Deep End – Kristen Ashley
Contemporary romance.
Quando sopra mi lamentavo degli alpha sub, ecco, l'autrice deve molto a Hill per quella visione e non ho finito di leggere 'sto libro perché non sopportavo lui e lei era un po' (troppo) fredda? E perfetta, con forse delle vaghe insicurezze messe lì tanto perché è un romance e bisogna superare le insicurezze.
Può essere una questione di gusti, però.
E con questo, direi che è tutto! Ho cercato di censurare parole che potrebbero triggerare qualche algoritmo, perché non credo che come anon si possano vedere i post nsfw.

Technically, I started this trilogy on the 31st, but I finished it today. And, you guys? IT WAS SO GOOD. I've read two previous rock band reverse harems before: "Lilac" by BB Reid and "Lyric & the Heartbeats" by Lana Kole (the latter is also an omegaverse novel). I liked them both, though I liked "Lilac" a bit better.
But this trilogy, the "Rock-Hard Beautiful" trilogy? Holy fucking shit. It blew me away. It was better than both of the previously-mentioned books, almost combined.
On the absolute worst day of her fucking life, Lilith Tempest Goode has no home, no job, no friends, no money, and no family left. It's vital as fuck she get to New York ASAP... but she's in Phoenix. The only thing she has worth selling is two tickets to a rock concert her cheating asshole of an ex left with her. She figures she can scalp them to at least try and get on the road. She scalps the tickets but somehow ends up spontaneously winning a backstage pass to the show. She isn't a huge fan of the band like her ex was, but it's raining outside and she figures she can dry off a little, wait out the rain, and have some beer.
The beer turns into a visit to the band's tour bus.
That visit turns into leaving her car alone too long and it gets trashed, leaving her with no way to get to New York at all.
And that... turns into a kind offer to let her ride along with these five rock stars as they proceed with their US tour, who are all just as broken and damaged as she is, even if they're all torn apart in different and very painful ways. If Lilith were a cup, they fill her up continuously with their love, their desire, their warmth, their caring, their thoughtfulness, their generosity, their pain, their sorrow, their hurt, their dreams, their nightmares... and she takes it all. She lets it fill her. She adds it to the whirling maelstrom that is her emotions and lets it help heal her, guide her, and to let go of who she thought she had to be. She takes what's left and uses it to soothe each man's demons, massage every last ache, and tend to every last broken piece of them.
These books didn't make me cry, but they DID make my soul ache. But in the best way. Sex is up-front and CENTRAL in these books. If the sex weren't so vital to the plot, I'd say there were too many sex scenes; but Lilith, her body, her sexuality, her ownership of herself and of these men and their sexual relationship(s) is absolutely vital to understanding these characters and who they are and why they do what they do. These characters are ALL extremely fucked up, and they have seen and experienced some of the worth shit life has to offer. Sometimes, their bodies need to do the talking.
And I'm not even mad, because the sex scenes are SO well-written. Even in group sex scenes, Stunich manages to give us a good mental picture of where everyone is without losing the spice of the scene. That's achieved with a lot of showing and not telling, and I appreciate that so much when I see it!
