just pulled this shawl off the blocking mat!

super in love with it, the only thing i would change is that it’s a little smaller than i hoped. i think i should have used one needle size larger. for some reason i have trouble trusting that looser gauges will look right even though i love them when blocked and finished lmao
also this thing had like. a billion ends to weave in because each of those little points created 2 ends so it was a bit of a slog however i think the end result is worth it!

Halfway done, half to go! I blocked it loosely, but it'll need a more aggressive block once I'm done.

This is a pattern I have wanted to knit for years but was intimidated by. I finally decided to cast on and learned a bunch while making it. Now I'm going to wear it everywhere.

I’m so happy with this gradient it’s soooooo smooth. This shawl is a real challenge to knit both because of the structure of this yarn and the actual pattern itself is written in a way that’s really frustrating, but at least it’s beautiful enough to only be slightly extremely annoying.

Shawl #1 is done! And it just so happens to be done on a Friday, so a happy Finished Object Friday.
I had a lot of fun knitting this shawl and learning how to do lace, albeit on dk weight yarn, but it makes me want to cast on another lacey pattern!
Pattern is Seaweed and Sand on Ravelry and yarn is Malabrigo, but I lost the label a while ago.

New made lace, of my own design. If you start from the middle you can go with the flow.

I’m in love with this spring scarf!! It was intended as a shawl but it’s a little small to be comfortable, so I’m wearing it as a lovely little triangle scarf.
Yarn: Try as I might, I can’t figure it out!! I don’t have the label and I just can’t seem to source it. It was hand-dyed, so if anybody in the south-west area recognises it… let me know :,( I’d love to find where it came from because it’s very soft and the colour is so gorgeous.

Slow progress. A simple lace, but the start made fiddly by very light yarn.

Plyed some lace weight together and I’m going to make another lace shawl for a friend to match my brown and teal one. Purple is her favorite color so I got a medium purple and a lavender and look at how good these look together! I’m loving it theses colors.
