Sw Modern AU The Fett Family 1999 edit
Jango's children (whit Jango)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Jango have so many children.
So Alpha is the oldest one and he used to the help Jango with the little ones (and the house), until Cody comes. And he started to help too. Then Alpha left the house and Cody was the one in charge of the little siblings (and the house). He's still in charge. Is the curse of the good kids.
Jango likes big families. Jango's favorite is Boba. He put a lot of pressure in his children.
Alpha don't want more little siblings. In this point this is ridiculous. He almost hace a heart attack after Wolffe and Cody accident. Good father.
Wolffe is a sweet baby having a really bad time. He's having a life crisis.
Everyone is having a hard time (they almost lose Wolffe and Cody)
Alpha and Wolffe are great big brothers.
Fox studies to much. He cares for his siblings.
Fordo wants to be a good father and brother.
Rex is a great brother. He's worry about Cody and Wolffe (specially Cody).
Cody's name is Kote. He wants to be a good son and brother. He should put himself first sometimes. He's afraid to disappoint Jango. Loves his family. He loves grandpa Jaster. He's Jaster favorite. Jaster choose his name "Kote". The inspo for Cody´s name
Since all their big brothers left the police Cody and Rex are the only one left following Jango and Jaster steps.
Bly is stressed. He want to date Aayla but a lot of things are happening.
More things are going to happen.
Boba wants to conquer the world. He doesn't like to share and is jealous of Omega.
Omega is a sweet baby.
The big refernce a family tree with the names and all link inside.
Jaster´s children Jaster, Arla and Jango
Arla´s children Arla, Gregor, Keeli, Waxer an Boil
Alpha´s children Alpha, Howzer, Trooper the dog and Jesse
Fordo´s children Fordo and Ponds
The cousins Hevy, Hardcase and Kix

The Great Escape
I'm kind of having a writers block at the moment, so I decided to put a few chapters of some of my fics here in hopes of getting a little feedback. I don't mind criticism so please don't hold back
Ca’nara at slanar- Time to Go
The waves of stormy Kamino battered the smooth-edged platforms which made up the Prime Minister’s cloning facility. Inside, the facility remained unshaken, the bright white lights illuminated halls whose inhabitants moved like clockwork with every hour of the rotation. Battalions of Fett clones marched to the simulators, or drills, or returned to their barracks when they’d finished with either. At the head of his battalion, Cody, a tall, amber-eyed youth, like all of his brothers, did his best to march in step as he returned from drills, though his mind was occupied elsewhere.
Two weeks, Jango had told him, when even a month wouldn’t be enough to pull off something of the scale he had in mind. Often, despite being the man’s genetic clone, Cody still found himself surprised by the bounty hunter’s recklessness.
“Kote!” a little voice drew him out of his thoughts, accompanied by a tug on his sleeve.
“Me’copa’ni*, Boba?” he asked without looking. There were only two people who still called him by his given name, though he preferred his nickname many times over..
“A Jetii came to see Buir,” the boy whispered in a voice heavy with fear, “He sent me to tell you, Ca’nara at slanar**.”
“What!”
Cody nearly stumbled into the the vod’e behind him.
“That’s impossible” he whispered, crouching nearer the boy’s height, “We were supposed to have two weeks at least!”
“The plan’s changed,” Boba shrugged, “Buir says now.”
As they rounded the corner into the armory, Cody pulled off his helmet, and reached up to ruffle the mess of sweaty hair beneath,
“Kriff!” he murmured under his breath. In comparison to this, two weeks to plan seemed like a lifetime. Why couldn’t the jetii di’kut have held off just a little longer? Cody drew a long breath and leaned back onto the wall of the armory. Jango would tell him he couldn’t change the past, only learn from it. The Jetii had come, and there would be no turning back.
“Boba,” he sighed as he crouched to the boy’s height. This had better work, or they’d all be karked, “Go on, and find Omega. We’re getting off this dump.”
Boba nodded and hurried cautiously away. Cody stood, watching him until he’d turned into the hallway, before returning a few of his brother’s curious glances with a nod.
“Ca’nara at slanar,” he whispered the phrase they’d learned from Jango, and listened as the vod’e to his left and right took up the whispered cheer as they set their armor away.
*What is it? or What do you want?
**Time to go

I have reminded you
Introducing someone to caf for the first time is always a nerve-wracking experience.
For one, you need to make sure that they aren't allergic. It won't do to accidentally murder someone.
And then, when you actually give them the cup, you need to make sure it's loaded with whatever you think will suit their tastes best.
Obi-Wan, only five months into raising Anakin, found himself preparing a cup of caf for the boy to try. There were many reasons behind giving a hyperactive 9-year-old Human a cup of caf.
One was that he was tired a lot, still on the path to adjusting to a Coruscanti Human's sleep schedule. He had insisted on doing so, as it was the same schedule Obi-Wan used.
A second reason was that Bant suggested trying it, as he might have Dopamine Attention Variability Executive-Dysfunction and caffeine tends to help Humans combat that.
The third reason is that Obi-Wan downs caf every morning and Anakin wants to try it, too.
So he prepares two cups in the morning and pours a copious amount of sugar into both. Anakin smiles broadly as he accepts the cup, drinking deeply from the cup. Obi-Wan smiles as he watches the boy drain the entire thing in one go, smacking his lips in the same way Vos does.
Then he takes a sip of his own.
He holds it in, trying to keep smiling.
How did he pretend so well? It's black caf loaded with salt!
/ / /
It doesn't come up again. Anakin starts preparing his own caf eventually, and Obi-Wan is so busy he doesn't pay attention to what goes in it.
That is, until his commander comes up with a haunted look in his eyes.
"Kote? What is it?"
"...Your ad just poured salt in his caf. A lot. And downed."
Obi-Wan frowns. He really hopes this isn't what he thinks.
/ / /
It happens again the next morning, this time with the Master accompanying the Padawan.
"Anakin, that's-" He's too late, as the salt is poured in and the very tired Anakin moves to drink some. Upon feeling Obi-Wan's eyes, he doesn't chug it, just sips.
"I wish you would just admit when you've made a mistake."
"I prefer it with salt."
"Why?"
"Well, in addition to salt being vital on Tatooine, you made it with salt the first time, so I prefer that."
/ / /
"Skywalker here."
"WHAT THE KARK DID YOU DO TO MY GENERAL‽"
"In my defense-"
"HE IS SOBBING ON MY SHOULDER!"
"... then just ask him out, tuck him into bed, kiss his forehead, and finish some paperwork. He could use the sleep."

Boba is small and obnoxious, in a way only small tubies can be, squirming and thrashing around in his crib as he wails. He’s been told that Boba is denominated “a toddler”, by nat-born standards. CC-2224 is not impressed.
“What does the word ‘Boba’ mean,” he asks. The word has been bothering him for some time now.
Jango doesn’t raise his eyes from the datapad he’s frowning at, “It’s an old family name.”
CC-2224 considers this. Boba continues to wail at the injustices of the world. CC-2224 is sympathetic to that, at least.
And then the question pops in his head like an armed grenade.
“Can I have a name?” he asks.
Jango looks up at him, both eyebrows raised up to his hairline. There's a considering silencie, and then he says, like he's already regretting it, “You could.”
CC-2224 stares at him expectantly. Boba wails, mostly ignored.
Jango snorts and shakes his head, letting his attention fall back on his datapad, “You’ll have to come up with one on your own, kid. I’m shit at naming things,”
CC-2224 frowns, looking down at Boba, who’s finally beginning to realize no one paying much attention to his crying and he might need to adapt his strategies. He makes grabby fingers at CC-2224, who watches impassively.
Making an impulsive decision, he reaches into the crib and pulls the baby out, holding him at eye level like a hide up for inspection.
“I like the word kote,” CC-2224 says.
“Very modest,” Jango snorts, but he sounds approving. Newly christened Kote thinks he wasn’t looking for approval, but its nice getting it anyway.
Boba sneezes on his face, and the universe shifts.
Kote's never seen the sun, but someday he'll understand this moment feels like sunrise.

New word idea ! Candies
(I don't know for the genre tho humor ? Or just a classic hurt/comfort ? What inspires you the most)
Another candy sails through the air and hits the back of Kote’s head. Wolffe sees his batchmate’s hand twitch but still not turn around, and so he discreetly gives Fox a thumbs up.
At the next hit, Kote snaps; he grabs as much candies near him that he can and launches them at Fox, watching in horror as his twin ducks and it hits Jango Fett in the face instead.

My two favourite HCs for how Kote becomes Cody that I use in my stories and bounce between…
1) Rex loses some teeth either in training or because he’s that age and can’t pronounce Kote with the lisp and everyone just jumps on that and it sticks but it was Rex’ika so Cody doesn’t mind.
2) Jango names him Kote out of love but when the Kaminoans realised Jango was too attached to the clones and reconned him, Cody was furious. As the weight of now being the eldest and having to look after his batch who are all also grieving losing their Buir piles up he just refuses to be that liars glory. He’s so betrayed because Buir said he loved them and nothing could stop that but the Kaminoans and Tyranus did and now he’s gone and Cody had to keep everyone on track.
Or 3) both. He doesn’t want to be Kote anymore and then Rex says Cody and that replaces it.

I read somewhere that Cody was the most similar to Jango personality wise (it's Canon for me now). That would probably yank some heart strings if Jango was dead... And be cosmic karma if Jango was alive, maybe a little taste of his own medicine ;)
t H o t s ?
thankfully jango in my "jaster lives" au is *not* dead but it definitely does tug on jaster's heartstrings all the same
It's interesting, I'd never really considered jango and cody to be similar, but now that you've got me thinking about it..... hmmmm... I vibe with it. Cody is hidden under about seventeen layers of professionalism but I always think of him as just having a little bit of Simmering Rage underneath it all LMAO, which is very Jango. I always think of them as butting heads bc of their similarities and the little differences - Cody see's Jango as both a terror and an oathbreaker, while also being the reason he Exists, and Jango see's Cody as everything he was meant to be and failed to (re: leadership, caring, etc).
this seems like a good time to bring up the little headcanon @ujalayi and i talked about, how cody got his scar and name (it involves Dred Priest's Battle Circle from the republic commando novels if you are not familiar kljskdljfas tldr asshole trainer beats up cadet clones for fun, makes them fight etc).
Cody (or rather, 2224) wasn't yoinked out of his bed into a battle circle like the others (priest knows 24's inserted himself into Jango's line of sight, which means he can't touch him) Priest did however, yoink 24's batch's adopted CT, 67 (rex!). 24 marches himself down to the battle circle, fights priest to buy time until the rest of his batch can get Prime or Tervho or whoever the hell they think can help. Priest gives 24 the wound that becomes the iconic scar before Jango breaks this up.
24 wakes up in medbay, Prime standing over him (!?!?!). Jango just sighs and says: "You're going to get yourself killed one day, sticking your neck out for your brothers like that, Kot'ika."
24 asks him what Kot'ika means. He says it's short for Kote, for Glory. Kot'ika is 'Little Glory".
24 becomes Kote. But only for his brothers.
this got out of hand but lmao enjoy my little novel. It sounds all very nice but cody is also doped up on painkillers and starts mouthing off to jango as soon as the tender moment is over

Commander Cody finds himself in a galaxy that is not his own.
(Okay I had to repost this because my dumb butt deleted the original 🥲. If people don’t mind reblogging this post again I would really appreciate it.)
Ficlet under the cut.
The moment he had realized this wasn’t his galaxy, his dimension, Cody knew this meeting was inevitable. He’d hoped to avoid it, but that feeling in his gut always loved to prove him otherwise.
Standing before him was his face. And no, not the face of a brother. This wasn’t just one of the millions he had grown up with.
This was him. He could feel it.
An alternate version of him, with colder eyes and harder expression. But still, he was Cody. Or rather, he was Kote.
Cody swallowed down a dry lump in his throat, not allowing his own gaze to falter under Kote’s scrutiny. “Please,” he started, hoping that his voice didn’t waver. “I’m not supposed to be here. The Jedi… Our brothers are in danger.”
“Your brothers,” Kote shot back, eyes narrowed. The way he spoke the words sent a chill down Cody’s spine, as though being a Vod was something beneath him. “Why should I care what happens to them?”
Cody’s thoughts froze for half a second, then he blinked hard and shook his head to push pass the shock. Never in a millions years would he dream of hearing a clone say anything along those words, much less from himself.
But this was a version of him. This was Kote Fett, and he was obviously raised under the guidance and views of the Prime. Cody briefly wondered if Boba existed in this dimension before forcing his thoughts back on track. He needed to convince Mand’alor Kote, somehow.
“Look,” he half whispered. “You don’t have to help me. I can find my own way back. You’ll never have to see me again.”
Kote slightly tilted his head, and with it, Cody felt a sharp spike of heat in his head. He gasped and dug his nails into his palms, strengthening his mental shields at the same time as throwing back a spike of his own, causing Kote to stagger one step back.
“Kote,” Prime chided from the side wall, unmoving. It was short and clipped, but his tone carried a low warning with it.
Cody bit back a groan, the sudden headache making him lose focus for a moment. He breathed roughly past the mental pain, instead concentrating on the feel of the cuffs holding his arms up, digging into the skin of his wrists. It was something physical. He could deal with physical.
Kote let out a grunt in acknowledgment, making a quick cut sign with his free hand, the other holding his helmet. He gazed back at Cody, a glint of intrigue now in his eyes. “Huh,” he breathed out.
Cody stared right back, blocking out whatever feelings were suddenly directed at him. “Just… just let me go.”
Kote’s brow furrowed, just enough for Cody to notice. He stepped closer, until they were less then an arm’s length away, face-to-face. His eyes rove over Cody’s face, and Cody could feel him prodding at his shields for a weak point. Cody built up another layer, shutting Kote out.
The Mand’alor blinked, a flash of surprise there and gone. His eyes suddenly grew cold. He spoke, and his voice was barely above a whisper. “Now why would I do that?”

CC Aurek Batch + 1
wanted to write some command batch shenanigans with a side of Just Slightly Weird. are they force-users? fae? eldritch creatures? i have no idea!
obligatory mandoa meanings, tho I use them as names so it doesn’t really matter, and it’s clarified who is who later on:
Mirdala: clever, smart
Edee: jaws, teeth
Kote: glory
Buirkan: responsibility
Gettse: courage, nerve
---
"Why is it," Alpha-17 sighed, "That whenever stupid shit happens, it's always you five?"
Every member of CC Batch Aurek blinked at him in unison, wearing the same identical expressions of innocence.
Creepy.
"Sorry, sir," Mirdala lied, like the little liar that he was.
"Didn't mean to cause problems, sir," Edee also lied.
Kote opened his mouth but Alpha held up a hand, stopping him from speaking. Kote was a terrible liar. It was embarrassing. Alpha had completely failed in teaching that one any kind of subtlety, and did not need a reminder of the reason for Fordo's constant mockery.
"Alright," he said, "Show me the poor cadet you kidnapped."
"I wasn't kidnapped," a young, mulish voice said from behind the perfectly-arrayed line of teenage CCs. "I came on purpose."
"Yes, I'm sure they gave you the option of refusing," Alpha drawled. He glanced pointedly toward Buirkan, who at least had the decency to look somewhat guilty about it. "Go on, move."
The quintet shuffled uncertainly, holding out just a little longer before finally parting to reveal the cadet tucked behind Kote and Gettse, gently pushing him forward. Alpha'd had his suspicions about why Aurek decided to openly lay claim on a CT, and the blond roots in the kid's hair certainly explained some of it.
"CT-7567, sir," the cadet said, snapping to attention. His salute was a little shaky, but Alpha didn't often interact with the CTs, and the rumors of him being an asshole were--well, true, but at least a little overblown.
When the cadet stopped there, offering nothing else, Alpha turned his attention to Aurek with a pointed, judgemental frown.
Kote stepped forward and wrapped an arm around the kid's shoulders.
"His name is Rex," Kote said proudly, with the smugness of someone who'd clearly won naming rights, going by the disgruntled looks from his batchers.
"He's one of Us," Edee added, belligerent, as if that was enough to excuse the five of them causing chaos and abducting a CT from the cadet barracks in broad fucking daylight. But Alpha heard the emphasis, and--
Well. That was enough.
The thing that not a lot of people knew--or if they did, they shut their damned mouths about it--was that the very first batch of CC-class clones decanted came out...odd.
'Unsettling,' had been the word Mij Gilamar used, said without rancor, unlike the reactions from some of the other trainers. 'Unnatural,' was what Walon Vau called them. Isabelle Reau said that they were 'horrible little abominations', and while Alpha cared exactly fuck-all about what Reau and Priest had to say, he still made sure that Aurek never ended up near their illicit battle circles.
Jango Fett had watched them for a single training session, face growing steadily darker as they demolished the shooting range, and then he'd turned heel and left without a word.
Alpha was pretty sure that was just because they were already close to beating his scores. Sucks to suck, Prime.
There was nothing psychologically, physically, or genetically wrong about Aurek--that the Kaminoans could prove, anyway--and all five were clearly on track to be high-ranked soldiers whenever the war finally started.
But they were, admittedly, really fucking weird sometimes.
"That true?" Alpha asked the cadet. "You're one of them?"
Now that he looked, he could see the similarities between Rex and the rest of Aurek: the little CT was already synced with them, breathing and blinking in time. His eyes bore the same unnatural intensity, and Alpha wondered if he would also be able to locate the others no matter how far away they were.
Rex nodded, a pleased smile breaking across his face. It didn't seem like he smiled that often.
"Yeah!" he said enthusiastically. "I'm one of them, and they're one of me, and we're all gonna be together now."
Rex looked up at Kote, who smiled besottedly down at him.
"This is Cody!" he said.
"And this is Gree," he said, patting Gettse's arm.
"That's Bly," he said, nodding toward Buirkan.
"And those're Fox and Wolffe," he said, pointing at Mirdala and Edee.
Alpha took in the newly-named Aurek batch with raised eyebrows. They couldn't quite mask their happiness at the new monikers, and Bly stepped forward, meeting Alpha's gaze.
"We will always treasure the names you gave us," he said earnestly, as if Alpha was some tubie in need of reassurance, "But we gave him his name, and he wanted to give us something back."
It wasn't as if the clones had possessions, after all, and names were one of the few things that the Kaminoans couldn't take away.
Alpha scoffed and cuffed Bly in the side of the head.
"I'm not offended, you little brat," he said, "And I'll still call you what I damn well want."
Bly just beamed at him, pleased, and Alpha rolled his eyes. He pushed Bly back into the circle of his batchers and their new plus-one, and if there was any kind of gentleness in his touch, he would deny it until he died.
"Meet up for training tomorrow at the usual time," he ordered, "And bring the kid with you."
Grins all around.
"Sir, yes sir!"
