Nicolas Bahamon, 11 year-old author
Click, Post, Succeed Social Media and Digital Marketing for Kids.
Tumblr media
Nicolas Bahamon is a talented and well-rounded individual. Writing a book at such a young age is a remarkable accomplishment, and it's even more impressive that it's about social media and digital marketing. It's not often we see kids taking an interest in these topics.
Being a soccer player, a violinist, and practicing jiujitsu, Nicolas seems to have an adventurous and diverse set of interests. It's wonderful to see someone exploring multiple areas of interest and developing a wide range of skills. Soccer requires physical agility, teamwork, and perseverance, while playing the violin demands discipline, dedication, and musical ability. Jiu-jitsu, on the other hand, requires mental and physical strength, flexibility, and strategic thinking.
Nicolas is shaping up to be a true renaissance kid! It's exciting to think about the path he might take in the future, perhaps even combining his different passions or exploring new ones.
With its release on November 24, 2023, 'Click, Post, Succeed: Social Media and Digital Marketing for Kids' is now available for purchase. Youcan find the book on Amazon, where readers can embark on this enlightening journey and gain insights into the world of social media and digital marketing.

Personal opinion: I love that little kids get to be inspired by the women in the pwhl but when there’s four minutes left in a period and their parents let them run down to stand near where players come out and in doing so they make it so all the people sitting nearby can’t see half the ice? That needs to stop. The game is still BEING PLAYED and some people paid good money to be here to watch it. You know what else needs to stop? Kids begging players for pucks and sticks and not even knowing who the player they’re talking to is. One girl last night in Toronto got a puck and a stick just because she kept running back and forth in the arena from the side of home players tunnel to the side of the away players tunnel and begging for stuff. Can we NOT enable this?
In 2022 I was at the PWHPA all star game in Ottawa and this group of girls was shouting at players in the tunnel, repeatedly asking for a stick or a puck or even their jersey and then saying “wait. who are you?”
I understand wanting a cool keepsake but it should just be a fun thing if you’re lucky enough to be given one. Please don’t shout at players and beg for something because eventually, they won’t want to interact with fans at all.

1, 3, and 8 for the fun things to be asked
001. what are 3 things you’d say shaped you into who you are? rather than just link you to my other answer, i will provide more (non-trauamtic) defining facets of my life: 1) my parents being almost 40 by the time they had me (38 and 39 respectively); 2) not getting my drivers license until i was 23 (follow this experience through the tag #kat learns to drive); and 3) my school in germany only having a mixed gender soccer team when i moved there in 4th grade
003. 3 films you could watch for the rest of your life and not get bored of? i feel like this is more difficult to just limit myself to 3. here's 3 random ones off the top of my head: eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, apollo 13, and the cutting edge.
008. any reacquiring dreams? unfortunately i don't, so i WILL be linking to my original answer here :)
ask fun questions!

LO had his first soccer practice today. He was so excited. He usually wears Kearny and soccer shorts to preschool. But today he wanted ‚normal clothes‘ as he wanted to change into his soccer gear right before practice 😂.
Hubby went with him - he was excited too ;). I went donating blood in the meantime.
It’s from 5-6pm so we have to speed up the dinner/get ready for bed process. But that worked out good today.
I‘m thinking about sending him to swim practice too (he can swim now but not for long stretches and he loves the water). But we already have so much stuff we attend to. We‘ll see…

How Kids can be Safe Online
Tumblr media
Ensuring the online safety of kids is crucial in today's digital age. Here are some tips for parents and caregivers to help children stay safe online: 👀
Open Communication: Establish open communication with your child about their online activities. Encourage them to talk to you if they come across anything that makes them uncomfortable.
Educate About Online Risks: Teach your child about potential online risks, such as cyberbullying, inappropriate content, scams, and the importance of protecting personal information.
Set Age-Appropriate Boundaries: Determine age-appropriate limits on the types of websites, apps, and games your child can access. Use parental controls to restrict access to inappropriate content.
Supervise Online Activities: Monitor your child's online activities regularly. Be aware of the websites they visit, the people they interact with, and the content they consume.
Teach Privacy Protection: Instruct your child not to share personal information online, such as their full name, address, school name, phone number, or any other sensitive details.
Encourage Strong Passwords: Teach your child the importance of using strong, unique passwords for each online account. Ensure they understand not to share passwords with anyone, even friends.
Be Wary of Strangers: Emphasize the importance of not communicating with strangers online. Teach your child not to accept friend requests or engage in conversations with people they don't know in real life.
Check Privacy Settings: Adjust the privacy settings on social media accounts and other online platforms to limit the sharing of personal information. Regularly review and update these settings.
Use Parental Control Software: Consider using parental control software to help manage and monitor your child's online activities. These tools can assist in blocking inappropriate content and managing screen time.
Teach Critical Thinking: Help your child develop critical thinking skills to evaluate the credibility of online information. Teach them to question and verify information before accepting it as true.
Promote Healthy Screen Time: Set reasonable limits on screen time and encourage a balance between online and offline activities. Encourage physical activities, hobbies, and face-to-face interactions.
Model Good Behavior: Be a positive role model for your child by demonstrating responsible online behavior. Show them how to use technology responsibly and respectfully.
By combining these strategies, you can create a safer online environment for your child and empower them to make informed decisions when navigating the digital world. Keep the lines of communication open, stay involved, and adapt your approach as your child grows and gains more independence, for more information visit https://book.chainzd360.com/ or buy Click, Post, Succeed Social Media and Digital Marketing for Kids on Amazon. 👀

YUP. This transcends women’s football as well. I’ve been to so many women’s hockey games where I’ve witnessed fans SHOUTING at female hockey players, “can I have your stick? can I have your stick?!” as they step off the ice.
At one game, a girl was literally yelling at a player, begging for her stick or her hockey gloves, before asking, “wait, who are you again?” She was pleading to get a piece of equipment from a player she didn’t even know the name of and that player was two time Olympic medalist for team USA, Megan Keller.
Just think, wouldn’t it be better if an athlete decided on their own terms to make someones day by choosing to give their kit to a fan in the crowd who looked passionate and thrilled to be there rather than giving it away because they were shouted at and pressured into doing so?
There is this aspect of women’s sport where fans sometimes seem to feel like they DESERVE a piece of the game because they’re there and female athletes are almost expected to comply. It’s not cool. Just have a good time and enjoy the game!

Dante IS a tiktok fuckboy. He looks like he either posts thirst traps or he’s one of those niche content creators where if something specific happens everyone who knows of him summons him like beetlejuice.
Dante is a tiktok fuckboy who claims he doesn't look/act hot on purpose yet he definitely does. He probably makes tiktoks about something kinda boring (like idk chemistry or something) and all the comments are just like "damn 😍😍😍😍"

(Image: Handshake meme template. One arm is "Deucalion in season 5", the other is "Beacon Hills lacrosse refs". Where they're shaking hands is replaced by the "I pretend I do not see it" meme.)
#look I have a lot of thoughts about teen wolf lacrosse. feel free to send asks/dms if you have questions I love talking about this#sorry in advance for the essay in the tags#I was suddenly possessed by the need to make this as quickly as possible#this is going to be funny to a small sect of people but I hope it will be as funny as I think it is#the refs fr be like -_-#you are not doing your job. why#the players will be fouling + illegal checking + stabbing + breaking bones + turning into wolves on the field and the refs are like#(looking off into the distance) hmm did I leave the stove on?#this is what I get for playing lacrosse in high school#I am one of 4 people who understands a sport that is a great metaphor aside from how much the refs ignore shit#ONE OF THE PLAYERS STABS SOMEONE. THIS HAPPENS IN S4#if you can't follow play fast enough to see the most obvious foul in history why are you coaching#I know it's an aggressive sport but I coached middle schoolers as part of my longstanding high school detention#and as a lax ref the first thing you learn is how to break up a fight#bet these mfs on the sidelines have never gotten stick checked in the throat by an angry 13yo#like when they do break up a scuffle they do it so limp wristy#'are you gonna do that again' 'no' 'sure thing kid'#even if cody saintgnue was the one blatantly fouling like that I would still call that shit! you can't body slam someone! that's not legal!#ffs tv acts like ANYTHING is legal in lacrosse and it's basically soccer with sticks#checking is not targeted harassment (at least that's not legal play) it's only allowed when someone has the ball or is picking it up#and if you keep body checking someone when you can get by with less you will get called#in fact you get preemptively fouled for body checking too often even when it's entirely legal#+ most body checks are shoulder bc it's way easier to dislodge the ball without breaking someone's back#teen wolf#teen wolf memes#you ever think there's a watermark on your meme but then realize it's just tumblr text editing icons all over the place? good times
