I was flipping through the January/February 2019 issue of @menshealthmag and came across this tidbit in the article “Transform Your Body and Mind"

Now this little tibit stood out to me. I’ve always said that people find ways not to utilize Social Media in a positive fashion. We all like watching funny videos on all forms of social media, but the gentleman quoted chose to use his IG account in order to transform himself. I also try to do so myself in between family, work and beer tasting posts.

There’s enough negative and wasted energy out there on social media and the internet. I just try to keep it positive for myself on my little corner of the web.

KIP- positivity in the real adult world

Yup... adulting is awesome and horrific. It is the craziest emotional rollercoaster you will ever be on... your 20s. I turned 30 this year. Living by the rules as much as seemingly possible. Highly skilled professional during the week and a warrior on the weekend. Work hard play hard right? Sweet baby jesus....this transition from I think my life is hard to..idk wtf... the adult life?

At the end of the day we have to remember life is amazing. Live. Try anything and everything. When you feel worn out from trying so hard...try more. You might feel like too much shit keeps happening. Life is throwing rocks at you. Loved ones and best friends are dying. Parents are disappointed. Where did all your likes go? You’re not where you thought you be... KEEP TRYING. You will figure it out. Enjoy the smell of summer, the beautiful house you finally were able to buy. Try hard to focus on the good things you have accomplished. You’re doing your best and you should love yourself for that attempt.

This post is my attempt to Keep It Positive and to keep trying. I am recognizing life is hard, but constantly trying to remind myself how beautiful it is. Trying anything and everything to keep yourself happy and mentally strong. You got this! 💃🏽💪🏽
