love the idea of jock steve getting beefed up after high school and manhandling eddie around. the visual of steve getting beefy in 80s work out clothes like cut off hoodies and little shorts and a sweat band on his forehead and coming home sweaty to eddie who loves when steve tosses him on the bed ohhhh my god i have to stop typing

okay so time to come clean - as someone who grew up with 60′s batman comics and S1&2 of Young Justice (I’m not old my dad is just an old-school comic book collector and so I only read stuff from 70′s or older), I was a hardcore Dick Grayson purist in my fic-reading habits.
That has changed, because y’all are SO GOOD AT WRITING OMFG, I have been GUZZLING Jason and Tim fics like water and this has caused MAJOR ISSUES for my own fanfic ideas.
I wanna write about them so baddddd, but I don’t know shit about the comic book canon and literally everything I know about current (or like pre-New 52) Batman lore is almost entirely from the fanon, aside from the bound graphic novels I share with my dad.
Idk where I am going with this post, but if someone could point me in the right direction with regards to getting up to speed, I know the broad strokes of whats been going on through my crippling fic addiction, but i’d appreciate a nudge in the right direction.
Either that or I’m just gonna write stuff in my own dubious mish-mash of canon and fanon and dcau elements lmfao

Dramatic irony is such a good tool in ttrpgs. Especially when the player knows things that their characters don't. It's wild how some games I know/been in try to steer far away from that for sake of player "immersion"
