An Ice Cream Cake?
A/n: Anon requested dad to be Justin!
Disclaimer: this is a work of FICTION, the characters are fictionalized versions of real life situations and real people. It’s all based on my imagination.

“Well, as much as it hurt me to do this…I got your cheeseburger and fries. And the pink lemonade you wanted.” He sighs, setting down the bag.
You wrap your arms around him as much as your new bump allows, having ‘popped’ a few weeks ago. Baby Herbert was definitely making their presence known and you both have been trying to get used to it. “Thank you for putting aside your disdain for In N’ Out for me. I know it must’ve been really hard.” You soothingly ran a hand along his back as he smiled at your joke.
“Only because I love our baby and that’s what the two of you were craving. Doesn’t mean I have to enjoy it.” You laugh as he shakes his head in disappointment.
The offseason has always been more special. You get to see Justin more and actually spend time together instead of seeing glimpses of him either on his way to the facility or on his way to the home office to watch film. But this offseason was even more special because it would be the last one before the two of you became parents. There was so much uncertainty though. What kind of mother were you going to be? The good cop or bad cop? What about your privacy? It was nice now because you were back in Oregon and no one bothered you here, but would that change when training camp rolled around in two months? And what if—
“Babe? Did you hear what I said?” Justin asks, pulling you out of your trance. You shook your head no and took a bite of your food, waiting for him to repeat himself. “Where’d you go just now? What are you thinking about?”
You offer him a fry that he happily accepts as he sits down next to you, placing a hand on your leg. “I’m thinking about how we’re going to be in charge of an entire human being for the rest of our lives. We’re gonna have to protect them and guide them through life and…potty train them. Justin, how are we supposed to teach a child to use the bathroom and—don’t laugh,” you tell him, even though you’re holding yours in. “How are you so calm about this?”
He takes ahold of one of your hands. “You know why I’m not worried? Because I know that you’re going to be an amazing mom. This baby and all future Herbabies are so unbelievably lucky to have you.”
You snort. “Did you really just say Herbabies?”
“Yeah, that was bad,” he sighs, “I knew it was terrible the second it came out of my mouth. But you get what I mean.” He shrugs nonchalantly, secretly proud of himself because he knows he just got you out of your head.
“I do,” you giggle, shaking your head at him. “Terrible dad joke aside, I needed that. I think the cake I picked up today just made it feel more real.”
Earlier in the day you’d picked up the little gender reveal cake for you and Justin to cut into. The idea of having an entire gathering with phones and a potential invasion of privacy did not sound like the best idea. So you and your husband decided to make it a moment just between the two of you.
Not to say you’d been thinking about it all day but…you’d been thinking about it all day.
Silence washed over you as you were about to get up to throw away your trash, but Justin stopped you and did it himself. You were starting to wonder if you’d ever lift a finger again.
Not that you were complaining.
He stood across from you at the kitchen counter, tapping his fingers on the marble. “Can we please cut this cake? The suspense is killing me.”
Rolling your eyes, you stood up to grab the cake out of the freezer, Justin’s eyes going wide.
“You bought an ice cream cake?” He sounded like a little kid, his smile reaching his ears with the dimple in all of its glory. You hoped your baby would have one too.
“It’s mint chocolate chip too.”
He lets out a deep breath and lets out a hum…looking right at the cake.
You clear your throat with a laugh, “should I give you two a minute?”
“No, we're good. Let’s do this.”
With his shaky hand enclasped in yours, you sliced into the cake together.
After you set down the knife Justin delicately tilts your chin up to pull you in for a kiss. His lips touch yours with so much love and tenderness that you almost feel weak in the knees. You return the gesture with as much intensity as you can muster up, all of the emotions wrapped up in this moment were hitting you both at once. The nerves you had earlier, to the joy that is now filling the entire room take your breath away and you pull back from the kiss, staring into his glossy eyes.
He wipes at his eyes with a wet laugh, still in disbelief—until he remembers the ice cream cake.
“We should probably have some of this before it completely melts. Do you and baby girl want a little slice or a big slice?”
“A little slice please.”
“One little slice, coming right up.”
He was going to be a girl dad and he couldn’t wait.

author's note; i neeeeed to write for hockey but he is the only thing on my mind i can't help myself summary; a kid was all the two of you could think about for ages- but now that your daughter is officially in the world, the late nights and early mornings aren't exactly easy. word count; 0.9K warnings; mention of vomit, pregnancy + babies, mention of sex, unedited characters; Reader x Justin Herbert
Having a baby with Justin was one of the best decisions you had ever made. It fell right in front of marrying him in the first place. And both of you had reaped the benefits of your pregnancy. Attention and gifts made the sore back and swollen ankles worth it. Justin had even been stopped by a few players he looked up to to be congratulated and given tips. Hell, Jason Kelce had reached out, which sent you into a bit of a fangirl fit. And while you had found Justin sexy as hell before hand, nothing made him more beautiful to you than watching him with your baby. He could be covered in her vomit, for gods sake, and you'd still be convinced he was the most gorgeous sight you had ever seen.
He still had football, though. He spent as little time at practice as he could, but the chunk of the day he was gone had led to a firm agreement: he dealt with her at night. "She gets me all day," you told him. "I will put milk in a bottle and you will let me sleep through the night." Which never fully worked out. You were easier to raise from sleep than he was. It got to the point where exhaustion crept up on you and you were snappy and annoyed all day. You would stomp around the house, calming yourself only for the baby or Justin. Once, his brother had made the mistake of saying the house was a mess and Justin had to laugh and put his arm around you to stop you from throwing a dinner plate at his head.
So this time, when the sound of her crying woke him, Justin told you to go back to bed and that he would deal with it. He groaned as he padded across the room and took her out of her crib. His height was not an advantage when it came to leaning over it. "Hi, pretty," He greeted, taking her out of the room with him. The pet name had come to him out of nowhere- as a family of all boys, neither he nor his brothers had ever been called 'pretty'. But by god, was his daughter beautiful. She coughed with her mouth open, threw up on him, burped, and did all other bodily functions with no shame, but to him she was perfect because she looked like the two of you. Which sounded insane- she was three months old with barely a hair on her head, but he could feel the resemblance in his soul more than see it. Sappy. He was becoming sappy. He cooed to her and bobbed her in his arms to calm her down as he looked in the fridge for the milk you had put aside. "You hungry baby?" He asked when she finally stopped crying. He groaned over dramatically as he put her in her high chair to amuse her. The giggle that came out of her sent his heart soaring.
Warming the bottle usually took a while. So he moved her chair to where he could see her and the water. "You wanna hear about how me and mommy met? Or my teammates?" The second one elicited another giggle. "I would obviously rather tell you about my wonderful wife, but sweaty guys work too," He joked. He explained football to her, as he had done before and would continue to do. His daughter was going to grow up to be as big a football fan as he could get her to be. He continued on, talking about recent trades and injuries, inside jokes, the ones he was sure she would like when she started being able to really comprehend what was going on around her.
"Did you know, when you came, I had the doctors convinced your mom had an affair?" Justin told her. She looked up at him with big blue eyes and it was almost as if she wanted him to continue. "There's this quote from the Grinch- you'll start quoting things, soon- where he says 'Hey, honey! Our baby's here! He looks just like your boss,'" Justin laughed to himself at the memory. "I said it to your mom, you see, when you popped out of her. And the nurses and doctors were mortified- they thought I was serious! It was so embarrassing to have to explain to them I was quoting the Grinch." Her bottle was ready, and so he scooped her back up and began to feed her. "If you throw up on me I'm going to have to show up to practice in one of your mom's blouses- I am fresh out of clothes," he warned. The food went down smoothly, thank God.
He rocked her until she fell back asleep. When he turned to walk back into your room, you were standing in the doorframe. "I told you to go back to sleep," Justin said softly. You smiled and padded over to him. "You're very good with children." "Thanks. I practiced on my hamster," Justin finished the quote. He pressed a kiss on your forehead when you reached him. "You're so handsome," You told him, "I love watching you with her." "Careful," Justin warned, "we have a roommate- no sex, I'm afraid." "Mmm," You hummed, "She'll get a sibling as soon as she moves into her own room."

Fallen For You ✧
WC: 1093
Pairing: Justin X Female Reader (Y/N)
CW: Kissing
A/N: I’m sooo sorry for the long wait! I unfortunately got sick again recently and have been recovering. I also know most of you love friends to lovers so… I hope you enjoy reading this!
Disclaimer! I do NOT own the Los Angeles Chargers or Justin Herbert and I am NOT affiliated with either of them in any way. This is simply fiction! Enjoy reading.
The warm California sun lazily streamed through the window, casting a golden light across the cozy living room of Justin's house. Justin, the handsome Los Angeles Chargers quarterback, was flipping through some different game tapes on his computer, his brow furrowed in concentration.
“Hey, Justin,” I called out as I entered the room, a gentle smile playing on my lips. Justin looked up, his eyes lighting up at the sight of me. “Hey, Y/n, what's up?” he replied, setting down his computer aside.
We've been best friends for years, sharing laughter, secrets, and adventures. But lately, i felt that something had shifted between us. Something unspoken lingered in the air, a subtle tension that left my heart racing whenever he smiled at me.
“I just wanted to hang out!” I said, flopping down on the couch beside him. Justin chuckled, his deep voice rumbling through the room like a soothing melody. “Well, you're always welcome here no matter what, you know that.”
As we chatted and caught up on each other's lives, I couldn't help but steal glances at Justin. His easy charm, his infectious laughter, the way his eyes creased when he smiled—it all made my heart skip a beat.
Suddenly, Justin's phone buzzed, breaking the peaceful silence. He glanced at the screen and his expression softened. “It's my agent,” he said, regretfully while looking a bit hesitant. “I have to take this, I’m so sorry, give me a few minutes.”
As Justin stepped out of the room to take the call, I couldn't help but feel a twinge of disappointment. Alone in the room, I let out a soft sigh, the sound almost a whisper in the quiet space.
Minutes ticked by, and I couldn't shake off the feeling of longing in my chest. I knew I had to tell Justin how I felt, but the fear of losing our friendship held me back like an invisible barrier.
When Justin returned, I gathered up the courage to confess my feelings. “Hey, Justin... I have something to tell you,” I muttered out, my heart threatening to jump out of my chest.
Justin turned to me, his eyes searching mine with a mix of curiosity and concern. “What is it, Y/n?” he asked, his voice gentle like a soothing breeze.
I took a deep breath, the air catching in my throat. “I... I think I've fallen for you, Justin,” I confessed, my voice barely above a whisper. A deafening silence hung between us, filled only by the sound of my own heartbeat.
Justin's eyes widened, a look of surprise flashing across his face. “Y/n...” he began, his voice a mix of emotions. We locked eyes, and in that moment, I felt the weight of my confession, heavy and daunting. I began to regret confessing my feelings, thinking I completely ruined our friendship.
Suddenly, Justin's expression softened, a smile tugging at the corners of his lips. “I think I've fallen for you too, Y/n,” he whispered, his words washing over me like a warm, comforting wave.
A burst of joy erupted within me, and a delighted laugh bubbled from my lips, the sound ringing in the air like a melody of pure happiness. Justin's smile grew wider, his eyes sparkling with newfound warmth.
Without another word, Justin leaned in, his eyes locked on mine, and pressed his lips against mine in a soft, passionate and tender kiss. My heart soared, the sensation electric and sweet, like a promise of new beginnings.
And as we pulled away, a sense of serenity settled between us, the unspoken words now tangible in the air. Justin cupped my face in his hands, his touch gentle and reassuring as usual.
“I've always loved the way you make me feel, Justin,” I confessed, my voice filled with sincerity and affection. Justin's eyes held mine, a silent understanding passing between us.
“And I've always loved the way you sound in the morning,” Justin spoke, his voice a quiet hum of adoration. “We're on the phone and without a warning, I realize your laugh is the best sound I have ever heard.”
The memory of those words wrapped around my heart like a warm embrace, a reminder of the love that had bloomed between us, sweet and tender like the morning sun. Justin's hand found mine, his touch grounding and comforting.
“I like the way we can't keep our focus,” Justin continued, a soft chuckle escaping his lips. “I watch you talk, you don't notice... but all I can think is we should be together.”
A surge of affection and gratitude flooded through me, and I leaned into Justin's embrace, feeling the beat of his heart against mine. In that moment, the world faded away, leaving only the two of us, tangled in whispers of love.
Days turned into weeks, and our bond grew stronger with each passing moment. We shared laughter, dreams, and quiet nights under the stars, savoring every precious moment together.
“Every time you smile, I smile,” Justin murmured one evening as we strolled hand in hand along the beach, the sound of crashing waves a soothing backdrop to our conversation.
“And every time you shine, I'll shine for you,” I replied, a soft laugh escaping my lips. The cool breeze tousled our hair, and a sense of contentment settled within me, a feeling of being exactly where I belonged.
Our journey from friends to lovers felt like a natural progression, a seamless transition from shared glances to stolen kisses, from playful banter to whispered confessions of love.
Justin hummed, his voice a soft melody in the twilight. “Don't be afraid to jump then fall... into me.”
The words hung in the air, a silent promise of unwavering devotion and endless love. I squeezed Justin's hand, a smile tugging at my lips, my heart overflowing with gratitude and affection.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, painting the sky in shades of pink and gold, Justin pulled me close, his arms wrapping around me in a warm, protective embrace. The world felt still, as if holding its breath in anticipation of what was to come.
“Babygirl, I'm never gonna leave you,” Justin whispered, his words a solemn vow. “Say that you wanna be with me too... so I'm gonna stay through it all.”
And in that moment, surrounded by the beauty of the setting sun and the promise of a future filled with love, I looked into Justin's eyes and knew that this was where I belonged—by his side, as his girl, forever and always.
Thank you for reading, I hope you enjoyed!

i have you
As soon as Justin appeared at the door, you stomach knotted, and sadness spread all over your chest. Watching Justin looked defeated was something you dislike so much. You werenever going to get used to it. It was unbearable, for him and for you. He put his hoodie on covering his sandy hair and got into the car in a quick pace. You grabbed the steering wheel tightly, biting your lips nervously. He left out a tired sigh, without looking at you. You turned on the engine, insecure of what to say.
"Let's just go home. No need to talk" he said, sensing your internal battle. You nodded and drove in silence until you got home. You helped him to get his things inside. You noticed he touched his arm, opening and closing his big hand. An injury?
"What do you want to do?" you asked him. Standing close to the door of the living room.
"I wanna rest" he said, walking toward the couch. He didn't turned on the lights "If you are hungry..." you started. "Nah, come and sit with me" you obeyed, sitting with him, you searched for his hand. "This sucks" you whispered more for you than him. His little sad smile made you look at him. "Justin..." you started, his eyes were filling with tears. His face was tense and his jaw clenched, his pretty eyes staring at the floor.
Oh, you had never seen him cry before. And the ache your felt, you hugged him in response, speechless. "I... I'm tired. I try my best every time" he started in a shaky voice. He rubbed his face not-so-gently, showing how frustrated he was. "And it's never enough. What am I doing wrong?" you bite you lip hard, not able to speak. Because yes, he always tried his best, fighting until the last minute, working through injuries, and more. Since the minute one until the last seconds, he was fighting. "Justin, I... I'm sorry. I know you always do the best. And you played great... but" you made him look at you by grabbing his chin and lifting his face gently. His red eyes reflecting the sadness he felt, but he obliged paying attention to you "You know, is a team sport. It's not about Justin is about the Chargers. You know once a man said to me the faster you realize giving you all doesn't equal winning or achieving things, the better you will deal with those things. It doesn't mean to give up, just to be real"
He just stared at you, thinking about what you say. You were about to said "forget it" when he nodded. "You're young, and have a great career in front, please keep it up" you finished. He touched your hand, counting the fingers, and then intertwined your hands. "Thank God I have you" he whispered, pure devotion coming from his tone. You heart ached, and you felt so much love for him. "I love you Justin, through wins and losses, no matter what" he closed his eyes, and inhaled deeply.
"Thank you, that means a lot to me" he said and briefly brushed his lips against yours.

Can I request one of Justin Herbert where you’re comforting him after a tough game, with lots of fluff, and it’s more of a night routine where they have dinner, watch tv, get ready for bed, cuddle! Thanks ☺️
I’m proud of you - Justin Herbert
Summary: Justin has a tough win, y/n will always be proud of him no matter what
notes: THIS IS SO EXCITING i don’t pay much attention to justin (being a bengals fan) but i do very much enjoy watching him play, so this should be fun:)
Tumblr media
y/n turned off the TV with a sigh. she had just watched an absolutely devastating chargers loss. she couldn’t make it to the game, due to working late, and she knew it would take a toll on justin.
immediately y/n stood to start her after loss routine. knowing he’d be home in about two hours she began a quick meal.
she gathered every extra blanket in the house and sat them on their couch. she placed candles and the food on the coffee table. she grabbed his favorite pair of comfy clothes and set them beside the blankets, finally she put on his favorite movie, pressing pause, and awaited his arrival
when she heard keys in the door, she walked into the kitchen to greet him at the door. the door opened and justin tossed his duffle bag next to the door. “i’m home!” he called, a tired sound to his voice. y/n pulled him in a hug before he could even look up to see her. he smiled, taking a breath and instantly relaxing under her touch. “you did amazing justin, absolutely amazing im so so proud of you”
his hand rested behind her head and gripped her hair softly as he pulls her tighter into a hug. she knew he didn’t think so, but he wasn’t going to argue with her. he loves her and doesn’t want to hurt her “I love you” he whispers, rocking them side to side. “i love you too” she smiled, loving the hug. justin lifted his head, suddenly realizing there was a nice smell coming from the stove
“what is that smell?” he made his way into the kitchen with a happy smile on his face. “your favorite” y/n answered, holding his hand as he discovered a meatloaf in the oven, pieces already cut out of. “y/n, baby you didn’t have to” he looked as he was about to cry.
football meant a lot to him, he wanted nothing more than to bring his team to victory every game. but unfortunately it didn’t happen. the standard he held himself up to really hurt his ego sometimes. but every time without fail, y/n is at home, with his favorite food, his favorite clothes, and his favorite movie. she’s always there to take care of him, she’s his favorite girl.
justin grabbed the clothes off the couch and instantly changed like a kid ripping open a Christmas present. his smile got even bigger when he realized y/n was wearing matching pjs with his own. “oh my goodness” he said, picking her up and spinning her around in an excited happy manner. “i love you till the ends of the earth” justin held her so tightly, plopping them both on the couch.
“i love you justin, i love you so much it hurts” he kissed all over her face. y/n reached up to turn on the movie, high school musical, and they both leaned back on the couch.
justin held her to his chest as he recited the movie. he has seen this movie a million times and knew it like the back of his hand.
y/n traced hearts on his arms as she layed on his chest. justin kissed her head over and over in between every pause to sing the songs. justin stands up excitedly
“we’re sourin!” he pointed to y/n
“flyin” she started quietly
“there’s not a star in heaven that we can’t reach”
justin picked y/n up and sang to her like some stupid cheesy romance movie.
even though he lost his game today, he had his girl right by his side. he could care less, win, lose, he did what he loved to do and he had the girl of his dreams.
after the movie was over, y/n yawned, curling into justin’s side. “tired?” he asked, looking over at his girlfriend. she shook her head, barely able to keep her eyes open.
justin laughed, scooping her up into his arms much to her protest. she wiggled around in his arms and giggled. “put me down!” he shook his head, and ran up the stairs. he sat her on the bathroom counter and kissed her forehead “get ready for bed” he said, walking away and shutting their shared bedroom door.
“justinnnn!!!” she called, slouching in a pouty mood. “brush your teeth!” he called, presumably busy with something unknown.
y/n did as told, brushing her teeth and washing her face, she put her hair up and ran to the bedroom door, knocking like a mad woman “justin! i’m done and i’m tired let me in” justin waisted no time in letting her in, and she was met with blankets apon blankets stacked on the bed in a cozy nest, her favorite cartoons on the TV, and her favorite stuffed animals in the nest.
y/n squealed, running and jumping into the nest. she cuddled herself into the blankets, leaving justin at the door. “your such a jerk” he laughed, crawling into the blankets with her.
“i love you sweet girl” he said, kissing her face
“i love you too justin” she smiled, “oh and,” she turned around to face him
she placed a kiss to his lips with a soft
“i’m proud of you”

Can I request one where you go to pre season practice with Justin. While you’re watching him play, you get all flustered and turned on seeing him in his element and wearing his uniform. He starts to notice and once your back home things turn spicy 🌶️ lots of fluff and smut please ☺️
Practice and Perfection| Justin Herbert X Reader
Warning: Smut!!! Minors do not interact!! (18+)
A/N: Hi anon! Im sorry this took forever I just started school this week, and my room flooded with all this rain in Cali. I hope you enjoy and I’m sorry if it’s not the best or what you wanted.
~~~•~~~•~~~•~~~🪷~~~•~~~•~~~•~~~
Waking up early in sunny California is beautiful but truly not for everyone. For some like your boyfriend who had gotten into a steady routine, you bugged for him to let you tag along to see him in action.
You loved watching him on the field during games, it wouldn’t be that different seeing him on the practice field. As you got closer to the field and waited on all the players you sat scrolling on your phone. Hearing a few conversations of the players coming out the locker room, you knew the guys were about to start.
After a while of scrolling on your phone, sitting in whatever shade possible. You decide to look up and capture your man at the perfect time. Mid throw with his helmet off you couldn’t help but stare him down.
Looking him up and down. Seeing every vein in his big hands and his muscular arms. Watching all the sweat being sucked into his uniform. You couldn’t help but ogle his body and squirm to shake what you were feeling off.
Eyeing him more and more didn’t help you. You just kept imagining him shirtless, like if he was at home during your intimate time together.
As he ran off the field to switch with another quarterback he found you in the stands looking at him. He turned his head waving to you as he seen your face and smiled brightly.
Oh that man and his stupid smile made you gush. You felt almost ashamed to have thought of your boyfriend as the sex god he was. Especially when his face doubled as the adorable squish you liked to grab onto and squeeze.
When he noticed you still staring off into space after he waved to you. He noticed you weren’t staring at something random it was him you were staring at. He seen the heavy amount of blush and decided he’d take an earlier break and come check on you.
As you noticed him walking towards you all you felt was butterflies. His long legs bringing himself to you at a faster pace most people walk. Trying to gather yourself quickly, he couldn’t help but smile when he stood over you. Holding a hand up to block the sun from you so he could see your face more clearly.
God you loved the height difference. Him being this close and sweet made you want to climb him and never get down. Lost in your thoughts Justin shook you out of it asking,
“You okay Sweetness? You’re really red.”
Feeling caught you made it a point to bring up the heat and lack of shade where you were,
“It’s just really hot and there’s not much shade right here. Speaking of that you need some more sunblock Sweets, especially on your neck”
You felt relieved when Justin just looked around for your purse and told you to grab your things and move somewhere better.
Just when you were getting situated, you hadn’t noticed that Justin ran off to get some cold water for you to drink and cool off.
Thanking him and leaning in to peck his lips you couldn’t help but place your hands on his shoulders feeling the heat and stickiness of the sweat on his uniform.
God he looked and felt good. From his greasy hair, chubby cheeks, and the veins and muscles showing through his uniform you couldn’t help but give in and look deep into his eyes hoping he’d see the way you felt without having to tell him.
Looking down at your big needy eyes it was like he could feel your wetness and sensed your need. He felt bad work got in the way of taking care of his girl. He loved you and wanted to help get rid of that issue right of way. The way you smelt, the way you looked right now, completely clouded his mind and wore off the second they called him back on the field.
Looking over to see who called him, then turning back down to look at you he moved his hand to caress your jaw and stroke your cheek with his thumb.
“Later sweetheart, I know what you want, I’ll take care of it when I’m done. Just be patient.”
Gosh that man had you swooning and feeling messier by the second. You needed him bad. Feeling like time moved slower since he checked on you, you couldn’t help but grow moody. The heat not helping you one bit.
Once all the coaches drew the players in, you felt relieved and eager to see your man.
Once he was free he trotted right up to you big smile on his face. With his gear in one hand, he wrapped his arms around you lifting you slightly to kiss you and rock you side to side.
“ I need you bad baby,” you whispered. Liking your tone and reminder all Justin could say was,
“I think I can fix that, come on.”
Leading you to a private room with all the extra equipment Justin also felt as eager to please you. He loved being there in any way you needed him.
Lifting your dress up as he squeezed thighs and ass, you started to unhook his tight pants desperate for anything.
As he pushed you to a near by table lifting you up he grabbed you chin to press a kiss to your lips while moving your panties to the side. As you slowly pushed his pants and compression shorts down, you two continued making out while he circled your soaked folds with his skilled fingers.
Moaning into each others mouths, you began pumping him while he stood between your legs.
Finally growing tired of your hand he stepped as close as he could inserting himself into you. Groaning at your tightness he had to stay still to let you adjust. After all it was you who gave the word not him.
Growing impatient, you whined telling him to move. Doing as you told you couldn’t do the slow pace he needed to work through for himself. As he tried his best to meet your demands and his needs. He sped up a little bit in hopes to get you to be a little more quiet.
When he felt stronger to please you he started speeding up and pushing himself deeper, all while squeezing your hips and thighs.
Not caring if anyone heard you, you continued moaning and crying out even loader, throwing your head back. Justin lowering his head to kiss and suck at your neck he felt himself twitching inside you, emptying his sweet filling. As he got into a sloppier pace, you couldn’t help but feel so full growing closer. Clenching harder around him.
Hearing your moans grow loader and closer together, feeling just a little bit guilty for coming before you, he pounded you with the best amount of force that got you to come around him harder than ever before.
Kissing each other and taking deep breaths he stepped back admiring your pussy leaking with his load. He loved seeing your frizzy hair, naturally blushed cheeks, and your sleepy, fucked out appearance.
He looked around and seen a few fresh towels to clean you off.
Tucking himself into his pants and helping you make yourself look presentable, he kissed you once again before you two left the room. You were happily pleased with your man. And him high from your time together.
Roads Less Traveled
A/n: I am working on some anon requests but I figured we could use a little fluffy pick me up after the loss yesterday.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
“Are you sure you’re ready for this? It’s a 13 hour drive.”
You laugh, watching him put your bags in the trunk. “Yes I’m aware. You’ve only mentioned it 100 times.”
He takes his hat off, running his hands through his hair and firmly placing the Nike cap back on his head. “I just want to make sure you know what we’re about to get into.”
“I’ve made it through watching your finger explode on national television and now I get to meet your family during bye week. This is the longest time we’ve ever spent together consecutively so I’m excited and totally ready for this.”
Your boyfriend opens the car door for you with a knowing look, “you just want my mom to pull out the photo albums don’t you?”
“The only baby Justin pictures I’ve seen are from the Chargers TikTok babe, it’s not nearly enough. You were so adorable.”
“Were? As in past tense? Ouch.” He pressed a hand against his chest, biting back a smile.
“I mean you can still be adorable if you wanna be. Personally I was leaning more towards extremely handsome, maybe even…sexy?”
His face is turning more red by the minute and you can’t help yourself from digging a deeper hole, pinching his cheek as he jokingly whines for you to stop. “My handsome, gorgeous, adorable man. Come here.” You lean over the console and he closes the distance between you, immediately smiling into the kiss. He outwardly hated compliments but sometimes you swore you could hear his heart sing when you praised him in any way, especially his looks. It not-so-secretly made him feel giddy inside.
“You’re not so bad yourself.” He whispers, pulling away from the kiss and starting the car. “Okay let’s go over who you’re going to meet. This is the big test.”
One of his hands finds itself resting on your thigh, leaving you to peek at the splint on his middle finger on the hand that was still on the steering wheel. Sometimes you wondered how much it must hurt after every game, the constant physical contact with so many weeks in the season to go and your boyfriend’s determination was only growing by the minute. He had no plans of slowing down.
Bringing yourself back into the present moment, you wracked your brain trying to remember all the names.“There’s obviously your family, your mom and dad. Patrick and Mitch. Then your friends Tate, Charlie and Jack, who will be at Charlie’s football game.”
“That was perfect, you’re definitely ready for them. I do apologize in advance though if my parents are overwhelming. Haven’t exactly brought anyone home in a while, well since high school really. And now they’re convinced I made you up and I’m on my way to dying alone.” His smile reaches his ears, exposing a dimple.
The fact that he was bringing you was a big deal already but to know that he’d only really done this a couple times made you feel special. Even if he didn’t really say it, he was falling for you just as much as you were falling for him.
Justin pulls you out of your thoughts when he asks “are you hungry at all? Because I’m thinking about stopping somewhere. I’m starving.”
“Oh yeah, lunch sounds good, I think I saw a Wingstop sign towards this next exit but I can look it up.”
You opted to sit in the car and eat, talking about what you wanted to do and see in Eugene.
“I want the works. Walk me down memory lane and definitely take me to Nike. Feels illegal not to go to a Nike store where it all started. I’m sure you’re looking to add to your endless collection anyway.”
He gives you a pointed look. “It was an endless collection until I met and started dating a thief. Do you know how many of my sweatshirts I found in your closet this morning helping you pack? I was looking for the purple one for weeks.”
That one makes you cackle as you force him to switch you spots so he can get a driving break. “Well I’m sorry! It’s not my fault your clothes are so big and comfortable. And anytime you’re gone I just throw one on and it’s like you’re always with me.”
“Nice save…Catwoman.”
You scoff. “I prefer Robin Hood actually, you know take from the rich and give to the poor. You’re rich so I take from you and give it to myself, the poor.”
“That would work better if I didn’t get most of that stuff for free but that is a pretty solid comparison.” He chuckles softly, nodding his head along to the song. “I didn’t know you were an 80s rock fan.”
“I didn’t either but you played this a few weeks ago while we were making dinner and I’ve been listening to it ever since. You know…I won’t tell anyone if you sing.”
Justin immediately starts shaking his head, “no shot. You’re not doing this to me.” He groans as you turn up the music, singing along to lyrics as he looks on, seemingly unamused.
To your surprise he matches your volume at the chorus, both of you screaming out the words to Pour a Little Sugar on Me by Def Leppard.
“What happens on the road trip stays on the road trip,” he makes you pinky swear.
A few hours later he motions for you to take the next exit, claiming he wants to show you something. It was the perfect time to watch the sunset with a view of Mt. Shasta in the distance. His non-injured hand held yours, walking out to see it while also stretching your legs.
“This is the most beautiful view I’ve ever seen.”
He turned to you with a warm smile, taking it all in. “Yeah...me too.”
You smacked him on the arm without turning to meet his gaze, already feeling his eyes burning holes in the side of your head. “Justin focus. You’re not even looking at the scenery right now.”
“Sorry I just got really distracted by the view right in front of me, it’s kind of become my favorite.” He wraps his arms around you, resting his chin on the top of your head. You were still getting used to the “beard” he’d been sporting.
Turning around in his arms, you finally look up at him, the sight still taking your breath away. “You’re my favorite view too. Wouldn’t mind waking up to you for a while. The rest of my life even.” The last part comes out as a whisper you hope he didn’t catch.
But he did.
“Really? You—you see us doing this, like getting married and spending our lives together?” His lips crunch into a half smile and you want to kiss him senseless.
“Yeah, I do. Which is funny because I’ve never actually been with someone that I see a real future with.”
“Neither have I.” He holds your face in his hands, bringing your lips together softly, the kiss left his entire body buzzing. “Until now.”
justin herbert winning superbowl and proposes to y/n on the field
Tumblr media
author's note; oh ABSOLUTELY anon u ate with this idea!!! singlehandedly bringing me out of my writing slump summary; the superbowl was supposed to be justin herberts biggest win of the day- but he can't help himself from making it just a little better. word count; 5k warnings; mention of underage drinking, nsfw joke Lol! unedited characters; Reader x Justin Herbert
There was no world in which you weren't shaking with nerves and anticipation. You had grown up watching the Super Bowl on television. You had honestly never really paid it much mind unless your local team had made it through, and even then it was usually your teenage excuse to have a few friends round and sneak a few drinks. In the past couple of years, however, football had become integrated into your life in the form of a 6'6, 236 lbs sweetheart. When you and Justin had begun dating, the idea of it lasting had been far from your mind. You complained incessantly to your girlfriends about his schedule. "He's always busy!" You had whinged to them, far from dramatic. He always had practice or a game or team bonding. Finding a time he could carve out for you was hard. But damn, did he try. And it worked. Three years later, you looked forward to the familiar thump of his football bag hitting the floor on a Sunday to alert you to his arrival. After a win, he'd come to find you with a grin on his face and wild eyes, usually peppering you with kisses. A loss, however, meant he immediately took a solemn shower and put all that gentle giant weight on you to lie in your arms and soak in your affection. This year had been filled with wins. After two losses at the start of the season, the team managed to turn the tide and keep a strong string of games going. The result was enough to put them head-to-head against the Kansas City Chiefs in this year's Super Bowl.
And the Nevada heat was not helping you stay calm. You half wanted to peel your Herbert jersey off and stand in a refrigerator until the game was over. You were nervous for all sorts of reasons. Firstly, you wanted Justin to win. Secondly, you wanted Justin to get through the game without getting injured. The injury to his ribs last year, he liked to joke, had scared you more than it had hurt him. You would be happy with any result as long as he left the field in one piece.
So far, it was a close game. 21-31 in the fourth quarter, with the Chiefs leading. You couldn't figure out how you felt. You were bursting at the seams with pride as is, but you were desperate for Justin to win what he had been working towards for so long. Justin had played an incredible game so far. You and his family kept repeating so to each other, like a mantra that he would continue doing so. You wanted nothing more than to see them win this game, even if watching was growing more difficult with each passing second. Mitch and Patrick, his two brothers, watched standing up. They either perched, staring and analyzing the game in a way only a football player could, or paced whatever stretch of ground they could, discussing their conclusions. "He's doing great," Holly said, not really aiming the words at anyone. Your hands were clasped in hers, and you gave her a squeeze. The sweet moment was interrupted by Patrick's yelp. Your gaze snapped back to the field, and Holly let go of your hands as both of you stood up. There was a wide opening, where Keenan Allen was waiting. Justin's snap made it to him, and Allen set into the most determined run you had ever seen. He dodged defense, with help from Chargers players doing their best to block them from his path. And then- "Touchdown by Keenan Allen! The Chargers are beginning to close the very small gap between them and the Chiefs!" The announcer called. You and the Herbert family erupted in glee (as you had with every previous point.)
With just under a minute now left in the last quarter, 28-30 was beginning to seem like it would be the final score. Both sides were not letting anything or anyone pass. You could practically feel the tension radiating from the players. No one had sat down since Keenan's touchdown. The electricity in the box was too much for anyone to stay stationary. Your hands were clasped, pressed to your lips as you watched your boyfriend set up. He got the ball, pulled back, and paused. "Go!" Mitch yelled like Justin could hear him. And then, like he could, Justin started running. They had set up close enough, he could make it- you could see he was going to make it. You had never heard louder yells than in the second Justin made it to the endzone. The clock after that ticked down painfully slowly. But second after second, the Chiefs were unable to score any points that would put them back in the lead.
Then the game ended, and the Los Angeles Chargers had officially won the 2024 Super Bowl. You were right behind the Herberts as the four of them rushed out of the box and down to the field, Patrick dragging you next to him with a handful of your shirt. "Slow down!" You laughed at him. "You're dating a Super Bowl winner, there's no slowing down now!" He exclaimed back at you. You felt the warm flush of giddiness and pride. Justin was a Super Bowl winner. Your boyfriend. Your lovely boyfriend. When you made it down, the field and sidelines were already flooded with family and friends. A sea of red and blue. You were sure the pure, unadulterated joy radiating off of you was salt in the wound for the Chiefs players, but the moment you locked eyes with your boyfriend you didn't care. In a surge of energy, you raced towards him, your large smile somehow growing even bigger. When you reached him, you didn't even care that he reeked or that his pads were wet with sweat. He picked you up on impact and twirled you around. "You won," you told him. When he put you down, he kissed you quickly but passionately. "I'm so proud of you, babe." You said. "I love you." "I love you too." He said, smiling down at you. That damned height. His family caught up, hugging him and crying and showering him with love and congratulations. Once their excitement had faded a little, Justin wrapped an arm around you and pulled you into his side. He pressed his lips into your hair and mumbled something. "What?" You asked, pulling away. "Marry me." He said clearly this time. You froze. His eyebrows lifted as he waited for your answer, a shit-eating grin uncurling on his face. You couldn't think of what to say except for "What?" "Marry me." He repeated. His words sounded so sure, and the way he was looking at you- You reached up a hand and grabbed the front of his pads to pull him down to kiss you. This time not short, but definitely just as passionate. "Yes," You told him against his lips, "Of course I will." "Woah! Slow it down on the PDA, Justin." His dad laughed. Justin pulled away from you. "Sorry, dad." He apologized, "Just excited." "Don't let the Super Bowl get to your head," Mitch joked, reaching up to slap his little brother lightly on the back of the head. "It's not just that," Justin began, "I just kind of.." he scratched the back of his neck, unsure how to explain it. He looked to you for help. "I think we just got engaged?" You said, not breaking your gaze away from his. Holly let out a yelp of excitement, but Patrick beat it by a mile. "I call best man!" He yelled without missing a beat. From near you, Sebastian's head turned. "What did I just hear about a best man?" He asked. Justin rolled his eyes and groaned like the question annoyed him. Underneath it all, he was bursting with the anticipation of telling everyone. He had been pondering when to ask for months. There was a ring in the drawer of his bedside table that had been waiting for him to finally propose. But of course, he had to choose the spontaneous moment that felt right. He wished you had a ring to show off to the boys, but instead, he just had to tell them, "We're engaged!" The team exploded with cheers and congratulations, all still riding the high of the win. Still under his arm, you looked up at your now-fiancee with a sly grin. "Go shower and get changed. You and I are in for a very fun night." You told him under your breath. His eyes widened and his eyebrows raised in a cheeky expression. "You're on," He retorted, beginning to walk away. "But don't forget baby, I'm a Super Bowl winner! It'll be a fun month." You ignored the curious glances his family and teammates gave you at his comment and tried to hide your bright red cheeks.
You Came Over Just To See My Cat? ✧ (Justin Herbert)
Prompt 50. “You came over just to see my cat?”
CW: Fluff, Kissing
WC: 2047
A/N: didn’t mean for this to get so long i got a little carried away, i hope you enjoy!
It had been a long day at work, filled with endless meetings and tight deadlines. As I finally stepped through the door of my small apartment, all I wanted was to unwind and relax. But then, out of nowhere, a thought struck me - I missed Nova, Justin's adorable Bengal cat. Without another moment’s hesitation, I grabbed my keys and headed straight to Justin’s house.
I knocked on his door and waited for a response. After a few moments of me standing there, the door swung open, revealing Justin standing there with a quizzical expression on his face. "Y/N, what are you doing here?" he asked, raising an eyebrow. “I came over to see your cat," I replied with a mischievous grin. Justin chuckled. "You came over just to see my cat?" “Of course i did! Look at her," I said, gesturing towards Nova who had just appeared at the door, rubbing against my legs.
"She does seem pretty smitten with you," Justin remarked, a hint of mock jealousy in his tone. "I told you she likes me more," I said triumphantly, scooping up Nova into my arms and giving her a few affectionate scratches behind her ears.
"I can't argue with that," Justin conceded, stepping aside to let me in. "Come on in. I think she's been moping around the house ever since you last visited."
The warmth of Justin's home enveloped me as I stepped inside. Nova immediately made herself comfortable on my lap, purring contentedly. Justin led me to the living room, where we settled onto the couch and caught up on each other's lives. "So, how's work?" Justin asked, leaning back against the cushions. "Oh, you know, the usual chaos," I replied with a wry smile. "But enough about that. Tell me about your latest football adventures."
Justin launched into a series of hilarious anecdotes about his teammates and the ups and downs of the season. His eyes sparkled with excitement as he recounted the thrilling victories and the nail-biting matches. Time seemed to fly by as we laughed and chatted, with Nova nestled between us, occasionally swatting at Justin's fingers playfully. It was moments like these that made me grateful for our friendship and the easy camaraderie we shared.
Out of nowhere, Nova jumped off my lap and dashed out of the room, her tail held high. Justin and I exchanged a puzzled glance before we heard a loud meow, coming from the kitchen. "What the hell?" Justin muttered, getting up from the couch with me following close behind. We found Nova perched on the counter, batting at a vase that teetered precariously on the edge. "Nova, no!" I exclaimed, rushing over to scoop her up before disaster struck. She wriggled in my arms, protesting against being removed from her newfound plaything. "I swear, she's more trouble than she's worth sometimes," Justin said with a chuckle, shaking his head. "Oh, hush, you love her and you know it," I teased, giving Nova a gentle scolding before setting her back on the floor.
As I turned around, I caught Justin watching me with a soft look in his eyes. It was a look I had seen countless times before, but this time it lingered, making my heart flutter inexplicably. "What?" I asked, feeling slightly self-conscious under his gaze. "Nothing," Justin said with a small smile. "It's just nice to have you here." "I wouldn't miss it for the world," I replied, the words slipping out before I could stop them. I mentally kicked myself for the slip, but Justin's smile only widened.
We returned to the living room and settled back onto the couch, the comfortable silence wrapping around us like a warm blanket. Outside, the sky darkened and the first stars began to twinkle into view.
"Remember that time we went stargazing?" Justin suddenly said, breaking the quiet. “How could I forget?" I laughed, the memory coming back in a rush. "We ended up getting lost on our way back, and you were convinced we were going to stumble upon Bigfoot." Justin chuckled. "In my defense, it was dark, and the woods were pretty spooky.” “sure, blame it on the spooky woods," I teased, nudging his shoulder playfully. Our laughter filled the room, light and carefree. It was moments like these that made the world seem a little brighter, a little kinder.
As the evening deepened, Justin fetched a few snacks from the kitchen, and we indulged in a mini feast, trading stories and inside jokes. Suddenly, the doorbell rang, shattering the cozy atmosphere that had settled over us. Justin frowned, glancing at the clock. "Who could that be at this hour?" “I'll go check," Justin said, getting up from the couch. Standing on the doorstep was one of Justin's teammates, Keenan, looking a little out of breath.
"Hey, sorry to bother you, man, but the coach needs to discuss the game plan with you. It's urgent," he said, between breaths. Justin's expression turned serious. "Alright, I'll head out now." "I can wait for you to get back," I said, reaching for my coat. Justin shook his head. "No, it'll probably take a while. You can head home. I'll see you tomorrow?" "Yeah, of course," I replied, attempting to hide the disappointment in my voice. "Good luck with the meeting."
Justin walked me to the door, giving me a quick but sincere hug. "Thanks for coming over. Nova always brightens up when you're around." "Any time," I said, managing to put on a small smile. "Take care, okay?" With a final wave, I stepped out into the chilly night and made my way back to my apartment.
But no matter how much I tried to shake it off, a sense of unease lingered in the pit of my stomach. The next day, I couldn't shake off the feeling that something was bothering Justin. He seemed distracted and preoccupied during our conversations, and even Nova's antics failed to bring his usual cheerfulness back.
"Is everything alright?" I ventured, as we sat in the cozy comfort of his living room. Justin hesitated for a moment, as if weighing his words. "I'm just really anxious about the upcoming game. It's a crucial match, and I can't afford any slip-ups." "I understand," I said, reaching out to give his hand a reassuring squeeze. "You've got this, and I'll be there cheering you on the entire time." Justin gave me a grateful smile, and for a moment, the heaviness in his eyes lifted.
As the days passed, Justin threw himself into rigorous training, leaving little time for anything else. I tried to be there for him as much as I could, providing encouragement and a listening ear whenever he needed it. Finally, the day of the game arrived, and the stadium buzzed with anticipation. I sat in the stands, my heart pounding with nervous energy as I watched Justin lead his team onto the field. The game was intense, with both teams locked in a fierce battle for victory. Every touchdown, every interception sent the crowd into a frenzy, and I could feel the tension mounting with each passing minute. In the final moments of the game, Justin found himself with the ball in his hands, the fate of the match resting on his shoulders. The air crackled with expectation as he surveyed the field, searching for an opening.
Luckily, he spotted an opportunity, and with a determined gleam in his eyes, he launched into action. The stadium erupted into cheers as he flew across the field, dodging defenders with effortless grace. And then, with a powerful throw, the ball soared through the air, landing squarely in the waiting hands of his teammate, who sprinted towards the end zone, securing the winning touchdown.
The roar of the crowd was deafening as the final whistle blew, signaling the chargers victory. On the field, Justin was embraced by his teammates, his face beaming with joy and relief. As the crowd began to disperse, I made my way down to the field, eager to congratulate Justin on the hard-earned win.
He spotted me from a distance and made his way through the throng of well-wishers, a radiant smile lighting up his features. "Y/N, I can't believe we did it!" Justin exclaimed, enveloping me in a bear hug. "You were amazing out there," I said, pulling back to look at his beaming face. "It's all thanks to your support," Justin said earnestly. "I couldn't have done it without you by my side." I laughed, feeling a spark of pride. "I told you I'd be there cheering you on. I'm just glad it all paid off."
As we made our way out of the stadium, the air was alive with jubilant energy. Justin's teammates clapped him on the back and offered their congratulations, and I couldn't help but feel a swell of affection for the camaraderie that bound them together. We headed back to Justin's house, where a small celebration was underway.
His teammates and a few close friends had gathered to toast their victory, and the sound of laughter and clinking glasses filled the air. Nova weaved her way through the crowd, basking in the attention and occasional ear scratch from the guests. Justin and I found ourselves caught up in the revelry, exchanging stories and reliving the most thrilling moments of the game. As the evening wore on, the guests began to filter out, leaving only a few close friends behind.
Justin and I found ourselves in the quiet of the living room, the remnants of the celebration scattered around us. “I can't thank you enough for being here today," Justin said, his expression earnest. "I wouldn't have missed it for anything," I replied, giving his shoulder a friendly nudge. "You're my lucky charm, you know that?" Justin said, a twinkle in his eye. "I think I need you at all my games from now on." I laughed. "Well, if it means witnessing more victories like today, then I'm definitely up for the challenge."
Justin leaned back against the couch, a thoughtful look flitting across his features. "I've been meaning to ask you something." “What is it?" I ventured, suddenly feeling a flutter of nerves in my stomach. "Well, with everything that's been happening, I've been doing a lot of thinking," Justin began, his gaze fixed on mine. "Thinking about what?" I prompted, my heart pounding in my chest. "About us," Justin said, his voice steady.
"I know I've been caught up in football and everything, but I've realized that having you by my side makes everything better. You're my best friend, Y/N, and so much more." I felt my breath catch in my throat, my mind reeling with the weight of his words. "Justin, what are you saying?" "I'm saying that I love you, Y/N," Justin said, his eyes searching mine. "I want to be more than just friends. I want to be with you, if you'll have me." My heart swelled with a mix of joy and disbelief. I had never dared to hope for more, but here was Justin, laying his feelings bare before me. "I love you too, Justin," I whispered, feeling tears prick at the corners of my eyes. "I've always loved you." And then, without another word, Justin leaned in and pressed his lips to mine in a gentle, tender kiss. It felt like the world around us faded away, leaving only the warmth of his embrace and the promise of a future together.
From that day on, Justin and I went through the ups and downs of life together, hand in hand. Our love only grew stronger with each passing day, and Nova remained a steadfast presence, ensuring that our days were filled with laughter, joy, and the kind of love that lasts a lifetime. And as I looked back on the events that had brought us to this moment, I couldn't help but feel gratitude for a certain Bengal cat who had unwittingly played matchmaker, bringing Justin and me together in the most unexpected way imaginable. As the days turned into weeks, and the weeks into months, Justin, Nova, and I found ourselves woven into the tapestry of each other’s lives, and i wouldn’t want it any other way.
I hope you enjoyed reading! Thank you to the anon who requested this. (I had a draft for this but it disappeared so I had to rewrite it, sorry for the delay!)
A gift
Justin received a meaningful gift on his birthday.
Tumblr media
After a nice dinner with family and friends, and now in the house quietly sitting eating his favorite pastry you made from zero. You could tell he was happy, and you were happy for him too. You love him so much you wanted him to feel that love.
You approach the table with a black box between your hands, when he saw you his eyes light up.
"Oh, more gifts?" he said, finishing the pie.
"The best for the last" you sang, putting the box in front of him and bending to kiss him on the forehead. "Happy birthday, Justin. I love you" you whispered.
He smiled like a little kid, and started opening the box happily. There were several gifts there: the first was a grey cap that he put over his head immediately. Then a smartwatch, the lastest version, he raised his eyebrows in a silent question
"I know you don't like a spent money on you, but it's your birthday, so just say thank you"
"You have give me more of what I deserve" he explained, opening watch's box, he stopped for a second. The design was simple and effective, exactly what he like it. "Ok, it's nice" you laughed, and he turned a little bit red in the cheeks. Finally, it was a book, there was only his initials on the cover, the green leather smelled so nice. "A book?" he asked, looking at you.
"A very special book" you said, excited.
It was the most expensive gift of all. You spent months doing it. Inside the book, there were letters from his family, friends, coaches and teachers since elementary school until now he was in the NFL. All of them telling Justin whatever they wanted to tell. You didn't read so much to keep the privacy. Some of them even include photos you've never seen before. It was a heartwarming gift.
He read the letter of his parents first. It was kinda long, but it was worth it to see his expression. He was holding back tears. When he read the letter Mitch wrote, he started crying a little. He flipped through the pages reading all the signatures that came at the end.
"Wow, everyone is in here" he said, in a shacky but impressed voice. "Even people who live far away"
"It took a little bit of work, but I feel it was important" you explained, holding his hand and squeezing it.
"I...I don't know what to say" he wiped away the tears, suddenly shy "Thank you"
"I'm glad you like it" unconsciously he held the book against his chest.
"You wrote me a letter too?" he asked, putting the book on the table a looking for your letter.
"Yes, you can read it later. When you are feeling sad or stressed. You can read any letter when want when you're feeling down"
One tear stared running across his cheek. He wiped immediately. "Fuck, I wasn't planning to cry"
"It's ok" you stood up to hug him, and he rest his face between your breasts, inhaling deeply. His big arms surrounded your waist, and you gave him tiny kisses on his forehead.
"I love you " he mumbled so low you almost didn't hear it. But your heart started beating faster.
"I love you too"
He looked at you from his wet lashes and brought you towards him to kiss you eagerly. He tasted sweet, and made you clench all your muscles. When you felt his tongue making his way, you stopped to take air. You were sitting across his legs, holding on from his thick neck...dazed.
"Why am I sitting?" you asked with a chuckle.
"This is your place" he said, looking for your mouth again.
Christmas Day
Justin Herbert x Reader
Requested: yes
Warnings: none. Just fluff. Sorry it’s short.
You and Justin have been dating for a few months now and you both knew the relationship is getting serious. You guys see a future together. Getting married, having kids and just living a happy life and having Justin do what he loves to do at his job. It’s Christmas Day and you both were excited to open presents. “Babe wake up. It’s Christmas and I wanna open presents.” He says shaking you awake. “5 more minutes babe.” You say still half asleep. About 10 minutes later you both went downstairs and opened presents. You got another Herbert jersey but in a different color, jewlery, and clothes. Justin got some stuff for football and clothes. He had one last present for you. “Hey babe, there’s one more present I have left for you.” He says. He runs upstairs into the bedroom and gets it from his bedside table. He comes back down with the wrapped box and hands it to you. You slowly unwrap it and open it. There’s a promise ring inside the box. You look at him in shock. “It’s a promise ring. You’re the best thing that’s happened to me and we’re in a serious relationship now and I figured to get you a promise ring.” He says. “Awe baby. I absolutely love it. It’s beautiful.” You say taking it out of the box and putting it on your finger. You walk over to him and sit in his lap and give him a big hug. “Thank you baby. I appreciate it. I love you so so much.” You say. “You’re welcome princess. It’s my job to keep you happy and treat you like a princess. I love you so much baby.” He says giving you a kiss. You guys had gotten some movies also, so you guys watched those movies the rest of the day and cuddled on the couch. You guys left the couch when it was time for bed but that was about the only time you both got up off the couch all day. “Ya know, I can’t wait for the day you become my wife.” He says smiling down at you. “Oh baby.” You say blushing like crazy. “I can’t wait to become your wife either honey.” You say. You both stay cuddled on the couch with a blanket over both of you and his hand running up and down your legs. He looks over at you admiring you while you’re watching the movie you guys have in. “What?” You ask seeing that he’s been staring at you. “Nothing. Just admiring how beautiful my girl is. I love you babydoll.” He says. You blush a little and smile a little. “Awe baby. I love you too baby.” You say cuddling more into his side.
It was your favorite time of year. Football and preschool was over for the year and Justin hadn’t reached the point where he was ready to head back to California for workouts, because OTAs were coming up. He opted to stay in Oregon with you and Remi, presumably until baby number two decided to make their appearance. You got to sleep in, lounge around a lot more than you ever would during the season and still try to keep up with your hyperactive daughter.
You sat up in bed, finding the spot next to you cold, and gingerly walked downstairs to see what was going on.
“Morning mama!” She runs up to you to give your body a squeeze, anywhere she can reach.
“Careful mini,” Justin warns, “we have to be gentle with mama remember?”
She nods and holds her arms up. Justin is about to pick her up but you tell him you’ve got her. He gives you a look but you wave him off, letting Remi attach herself to your shoulder as you run your hand down her back. It’s like she subconsciously knows that she’s not going to be an only child anymore and is savoring every moment.
“How was your sleep, sweets?” You ask her when she picks her head up.
“Too short.” She whines.
“I hear you cupcake,” you laugh at her struggle. “What do you say we take a nap today?”
“No thank you.” She says with a laugh and Justin joins in, shaking his head and saying “of course”. Her napping days are probably over. You set her down and she walks off, into the living room to do whatever her heart desires.
Justin looks at you with a warm smile, sleep still lacing his features, reminding you of a tiny human that just left the room. It takes him about two steps before he’s standing inches away from you, leaning down to place a kiss on your lips. “How are you feeling this morning?” The concern in his tone isn’t missed, it’s been there since about month six, when your center of gravity changed significantly.
“How am I feeling? Large and…not very in charge.” The joke gets you a pity laugh and a forehead kiss.
Before you can even ask he turns away to grab a glass of water and your prenatal vitamins and you swallow the lump in your throat, not wanting to cry first thing in the late morning. Something about seeing Justin in dad and/or caretaker mode just really made you understand how you got here in the first place. You never had to ask for the dishes to be done or the trash to be taken out. If Remi needed something, it was done, especially now that he felt like you were going to pop at any moment.
“Are you sure you’re up for this today? I mean we can always ask them to come over, I can throw something on the grill and we don’t have to go anywhere.”
He saw you reaching for the chair and pulled it out for you, “as much as I know you’re dying to use that Traeger today, I feel great. And it’ll be that much better if we bring the gift to your parents instead of them coming to us.”
“Fine,” Justin sighs. “But you promise to let me know if you’re feeling off or tired or anything, okay?”
“Yes, I will let you know immediately.”
He gives you a look like he knows you’re not being serious and kneels down to talk to your belly. “You better not be in there giving your mom a hard time because we both know she’s not going to say anything. So you’ve gotta be on your best behavior all day. Can you do that for me?”
A thumpy kick on the left side of your stomach makes you laugh. The baby actually responded like they were having a conversation. “I love when that happens,” He beams at you.
“When what happens?”
“When you laugh, your belly moves up and down. It’s crazy that there’s a person in there,” he notes. “And I definitely think they heard me and are going to do what I said.” He places a hand across your protruding front and waits for another series of kicks, his heart threatening to beat out of his chest at the movement.
You should’ve known this would happen. Anytime you left the house, it was like your husband was preparing for war. The baby bag was packed and placed in the trunk, Justin decided to add an extra onesie, “just in case.” Remi has her overnight bag ready to go and he made sure that your stuff and his were triple checked with his extensive checklist.
Remi sighed, sitting on the couch next to you, watching her dad bring down the last bag. She tapped you on the arm and you leaned down to let her whisper in your ear. “Are we going to Mimi and Papa’s today? Daddy is taking a very long time.”
“He is sweets but daddy is just making sure we’re ready in case the baby decides to come.”
She looks between you, the door and then your belly. “Baby not coming today, promise.”
“I hope you’re right sister. Let go sit in the car so he knows we’re tired of waiting.”
The drive to his parent’s house wasn’t far and Remi was practically jumping out of her car seat to get to the door and run into Mark’s arms.
“Hi Papa! I missed you.” She giggles as he squeezes her tight after scooping her off the ground.
“Look at you peanut, it’s like you’re twice as big every time I see you!”
She bursts into another fit of laughter when he tickles her, bringing her into the house. “I wanna be big and strong like daddy. To play football.”
You laugh at her confession, nudging Justin. “Your daughter wants to be an NFL quarterback.“
“If that’s what she wants then I’m going to do everything in my power to make that happen,” he hums, placing a hand at the small of your back to steady you as you walk through the door.
Remi is already making her rounds, giving hugs to Holly and Patrick and giving them the rundown of everything that’s happened in her life like she hasn’t seen them in years when in reality it’s only been a couple weeks. Somewhere along the way she convinces Patrick to take her to the park, creating the perfect opportunity to present Justin’s parents with their gifts.
“So the two of you are having a baby, but you’re bringing US gifts?” Holly quips from her spot on the couch.
“We wouldn’t be able to be do this without you,” you assure them, “between you guys and my parents, we owe you lots of presents.”
Justin nods quietly, feeling a smile reach up to his ears. “She’s right I mean, you guys have always been there for me but now, having a family of my own I appreciate you all even more. So this is just a little something as a token of our endless appreciation.”
He grabs the box and hands it to his dad, sitting back down to watch them open it. Holly’s eyes well up with tears almost instantly, before she’s even opened the book.
“It’s a memory book, I know you guys love pictures and you can keep everything in one place and look back on it as many times as you want. And obviously the blanket is yours to keep.”
“There is a little surprise on the first page of the book that I think you should take a look at.” Justin chimes in.
His mom tentatively opens it, gasping and running her hand over the page.
“Are you—are you pulling my leg? Is this real?” You’ve only seen Mark tear up a handful of times but you knew this was special. You even caught Justin wiping a tear away as he nodded.
“There’s no better man in the world than you dad. So why not set my son up for success by naming him after the greatest man I’ve ever known?”
Mark stands up and wraps him up in a hug that spoke volumes. You and Holly stood next to them arm in arm, wiping at your own tears. “This is incredible, we can’t thank the two of you enough. This is so special.”
“Camden Mark Herbert, how about that?” Mark says, patting his son on the back and giving him another hug.
There’s nowhere else you’d rather be than in this in moment with them and you wished that you could keep this feeling in your heart forever. Just goes to show…there’s no place like home.
