#alright i suppose i should tell what's up lately! im mostly posting this like a mini update or whatever haha#so - since i made that last post on my disappearance i worked endlessly to finish my animation project and thank goodness it's finally over#i had to take a break from trying to be social here and just stay in my own space and i did that by having a smaller side blog to ramble#the project was very... tiring - definitely took out so much energy from me post physically and mentally and i was just frustrated everyday#so i just took my time to be alone with a few close people and i like to think im okay now?#i like to think so - since i was able to deliver a few commission drafts today so i'm relieved that im back to my usual pace#I'll post a few of my doodles here i did during my project just to fill the void haha#i've acquired a minor familial from another video game and i care for him a lot :] idk ill bother to talk abt it here but yeah thats funnn#also indulging a lil bit of t.n.m.n content as of late also thanks to my friend who knows abt it hehe#soo yeah! What if i surpise dropped the first 8 pages out of nowhere and then didn't update for months would that be a bad idea
#it's makin me anxious#and i might be losing interest#so posting it could give me motivation and help lower the worry#but once i post it i cant change it 😔#and i still havent finished the draft of the last like 40 pages so the story is unfinished#it turn out to have about 50 more pages than the previous one#too long too long#well i could just post the cover but then i wont be able to post in 8 pages each because the places it cuts would be bad#also that would be like hyping it up i dont want to hype it up i would die#also who knew story writing was so tiresome

i know aging isn't the end of the world and 24 isn't that old and life isn't a race etc etc etc. however,
#i think a big reason i feel so bad abt being this age is ppl told me this is when things start to get better#and i still feel the same way i did as a teenager so. well. is it really 😐#(being on t probably isn't helping but it's been over 3 years already so... not an excuse i think)#but I'm also physically aging like the reason i barely upload selfies anymore is i see myself getting uglier every day#despite fighting for my life to at least take care of my face and hair...... can't fight the passage of time 😔#+ ofc. my (younger) friends being way more sorted out than i am on every level#again ik life isn't a race but. it can't help but hurt to know I'm still behind literally everyone i know#and my excuses for that aren't even good. bc other disabled ppl my age are also more sorted out than i am#other depressed ppl other borderlines other autistics etc etc. hell these are also my irl friends 😭#and it's dumb. bc feeling like i wasted my life isn't really pushing me to change that now. just makes me want to die even more#(bc i mean what's the point. i will never catch up. #threading the 2nd wing and didnt stop only until i had to heat up a rat for my snake#and now i really don't feel like going back to it now lmao; tomorrow i can hypothetically finish threading it#and line the last piece with wire and then run them through my sewing machine; I'll need to cut the dart for the coat as well#and figure out how to make the sleeves more comfy.. iron down the seams maybe? or cover them with cotton..#might do yarn for the antennae bc that's easier to get ahold of.. as soon as i figure out the tails I'll go back to the fabric store#and try to find more of the specific yarn i used for my plushie bc that might be my best bet rn#i doubt I'll get the antennae exactly as ive been drawing them but i just need them to be long if i can 🥺#might have to compromise between size and fullness ://// depends on how much yarn I'm willing to buy lmao#need to get some boots and spray paint them.. style and dye the wig 😔 looked at it and briefly considered using it for pouf#bc i don't have bangs but i love using my actual bleached hair for him lmao; i do need to bleach my roots again#i need con tickets i STILL havent bought those and it's in like 2 weeks#shai speaks

Correct!#Now granted it's only been since 2021 that I fixated on it - which is actually double funny to me since I was going back through my backlog#And I found some doodles of Max and Dex from 2019 - before I ever drew ZEX! - but I just never finished them lol#Very funny to me that I drew them first but then went in hard on ZEX and then SCII in general and /then/ circled back around lol#I know they weren't my in but dang what a quick turnaround in both directions lol#Well anyway the point is I love them and I love Helix <3#Jump to Japanese! While ''rereading'' my Japanese KoiBo volumes I'll occasionally pause and see if I can actually read something#I have a very loose grasp on Hiragana at this point - needta get back into practice to refresh - but context clues are my friends!#I think it's cute how Souichi just says ohayou but Morinaga says the full ohayou gozaimasu hehe <3#It's not so much that Morinaga speaks politely (although he does) but that Souichi speaks casually/disrespectfully! I love him <3 <3#I do get mixed up between su and tsu quite a lot - I know they don't look similar but I use a pneumonic for た (ta) that contradicts su :P#I'll get there! having to work on short notice again was actually nice today \o/ ended up pondering EOTA while i bagged coffee and now im finally editing the draft again after 2 weeks of no motivation
#os: entrails of the animals#pointing at myself in the mirror like 'draft 4 WILL be finished before 2023 is over'#altho i defs need to stop beating myself up for not working on it as much lately#like yeah i edit 60k words + wrote an entire 40k more in the span of like ~3 months last year#and towards the end of the draft i was writing 4k to 6k words each DAY#but also i think that has burned me out to a degree and ive struggled to do any major editing since then#i need to just let myself work on EOTA at my own pace.....but also i want it to be published already :(#lowkey its my own fault im burned out this time#i was writing 4k words a day and internally going 'hey we should pace ourselves so that this doesnt become overwhelming'#but instead i just kept writing like a maniac bc i was so excited to have the first draft done#now i get to pay the price 🤟😔#having to drag any amount of focus i can to the laptop kicking and screaming

I've just been playing the new cotl update for most of the day and I'm so so close to being done with the main new story bits I think but it's also past midnight but also I'm so excited idk if I'll be able to sleep but also god damn do I need to sleep
#rat rambles#and I know I wont have long to play when I wake up tomorrow since my friends will probably wanna continue our dont starve save#and I wanna too which is why I wont say no if they do but also aghhhhhh#Ill be able to finish it once they have to go to bed but thats so long Ill have to wait 😔#anyways I saved kalamar for last since hes the hardest originally but based off my current load out I think Ill be fine#aka literally every other bishop died in seconds due to my bomb demon being over level 30 lol#Im so glad they seem to scale further now its soooooo funny walking into a room with a boss and just watching them immediately explode#also Ive been using the golden fleece more and its been going pretty well#I got up to over 500% damage one run that was cool#Ive barely been touching the heavy attacks tho but tbf thats partially cause of keyboard mapping#Ive been having so so much fun with this update tho even if Im not a huge fan of a few aspects#this has brought so much more life to the combat portion to the game for me I havent had this much fun with the combat in a while#I do still need to collect all the rellics tho Im working on it#I also feel like I should buy all the new cards but man. none of them seem very appealing to me tbh#that is one of my big problems with cotl in general getting new cards can make it harder to get the more fun or useful ones#most of the actually useful cards are the base ones or ones given to you mostly for free#everything else is mildy useful or at least fun at best and actively useless at worst#like. ooo drop ichor on hit. wow. honestly give me deaths door at that point like jesus

why do the majority of social reality tv competition shows have to be dating based…..i’m like i want competition i want ppl fighting no i don’t want to watch the worst heterosexual ppl on the planet make out…..i don’t want to watch regular reality tv bc i enjoy the competition aspect but then if i just watch a competition show there’s no fun social aspect to it…….and i’m like i COULD watch the international versions of big brother but i don’t want to bc i don’t feel like it……..basically i want to keep watching the circle but ive almost finished the last uk season and the france and brazil versions don’t have an english dub & i like to watch while doing other things ie not looking at the screen……i’m cursed and i’m going to scream and cry abt it forever……..
