Uh. Well with the Monkey King's whole 5+ immortality and enlightenment deal, probably none of them XD. As is--and while I am very much aware that this is going against macaques' usual structure of most young directly inheriting their status-- I imagine that SWK would take a little more of a background role to the politics of day-to-day living on Mt. Huaguoshan after he becomes the Buddha Victorious in Strife, and spends more time on that side of things ensuring that the relations between the monkey yao and other beings in heaven and earth stay amicable. So who's officially "in charge" of Mt. Huaguoshan is a pretty fluid thing that can't be completely pinned to one specific individual, but is rather made of a loose coalition between SWK, the immortal monkey generals and marshals Ma, Liu, Beng, and Ba, and a large collection of frequently shifting yaoguai and even a number of humans who specialize in different necessary fields like agriculture, masonry, and medicine.

That said, SWK IS Mt. Huaguoshan's official figurehead, mostly because of his long history as the official communal grandpa and protector of the Fruit and Flower monkey yao, and because of his status as a being who's both monkey, man, and buddha all at once. But less fortunately, there's also the fact that his raw power more or less makes him a living WMD, as proven to heaven all those centuries ago when he havoced through the ranks of the deities and other immortals. So while most are on board with keeping up a good or at least civil relationship with the Mt. Huaguoshan yaoguai now, there's also that background threat of what could and did happen when they're attacked.

So with that kind of situation, Quidou, Luohou, and Yuebei Xing are left in this kind of weird and sometimes frightening place. They have a lot of freedom to choose what they want to do with their lives since Sun Wukong had them not because he needed heirs but because he wanted biological children to love and encourage in their passions. But they are also living in the aftermath of the war with heaven, the burning of Mt. Huaguoshan, and the years-long massacre of monkeys at the hands of hunters which only stopped because SWK massacred said hunters in turn. Things have stabilized significantly since the days of war, genocide and famine, and their father constantly emphasizes the need for diplomatic solutions. Yet there's also always that sense that things could in fact go very bad for them and their loved ones if they aren't able to back up their words with legitimate threats. And they only have to look at the human world to see how often that's the case, even between nations :( Plus while they may also be stone monkeys, Quidhou, Luohou, and Yuebei Xing are also a LOT less immortal and invulnerable than their famous father.

But to give a quick summary, as adults Quidou does find contentment in acting as a Mt. Huaguoshan guard and a shifu for many young monkey yaoguai in the martial arts (he's actually the most skilled fighter out of the three), Luohou becomes an interesting mix of a court painter/traveling diplomat who's frequently on the move, and Yuebei Xing, while more of a homebody and scholar than her brothers, out of the three Sun children ends up gaining the most fame and notoriety mainly because of her vast knowledge of curses, especially one that can condemn even immortals to a painful death.

It's no wonder that a number of deities are regarding the existence of even more dangerous stone monkeys with concern and fear. But the truce between Heaven and Mt. Huagushan still holds.

SUN PARAMITA!!

I made Paramita, the first born, off Hero is Back 2015 Wukong. I thought that HiB Wukong gave off great Big Brother vibes.

Paramita is based off (fire) and (fire) when it comes to the 5 elements and the 8 trigrams. He is Red and I've made him to look nearly identical to Wukong. He has a deep Copper fur but he has a long wavy main that reaches beyond his waist. He's a BUFF dude, and is def the warrior of the family. He takes his whole as being the first prince very seriously and considers himself the most responsible of his siblings, taking on the most royal duties so that his younger sibs could enjoy themselves.

As a young kid he really looked up to his father and still does but he does come off as a ruler follower and a bit more intense than needed. He wanted to grow up to be just like Wukong even when he wasn't sure what that included. He puts his dad on a pedestal which strains their relationship as he wants to be like his dad but also resets how he is never going to be his own individual person but always "the monkey king's son." And what makes it worse he feels guilty for his resentment because he loves his dad and his dad loves him so he chooses to never talk about his feelings and just buries them until perhaps a very emotional confrontation.

He has a self-sacrificing nature that he feels he has to be perfect for the family. As the oldest (despite them all being the same age) he felt he needed to be the responsible one and therefore took on his training in combat the most seriously. He tries desperately to give all a laid-back attitude to imitate his dad but honestly, he is an anxious mess one minor inconvenience away from a breakdown.

He's a sweet boy that is too mature for his age and grew up too fast. Wukong worries about him a lot as he wants his boy to feel comfortable to be himself. Also he looks up to Shancai a lot because while his siblings see Paramita as the oldest, Paramita sees Red Boy as his own big sibling that he can rely on.

You know I find it funny people complain about something so small as Wukong giving up his Buddhahood for your OC when canonically Wukong has a unnamed wife and like 18 kids as stated in the JTTS story. Ether way love your story Sophie is so cute and her and Wukong deserve the world.

That's what I am thinking too. But I also understand that JTTW is an important part of Chinese culture, history, and part of them. So I understand that the Lego Monkey Kid has raised a lot of questions and even hate, but I also understand that there are 100,000 billion people, and even if I change my AU or even delete this blog it won't change anything.

I think people need to find a better approach if they want their voices to be heard and not come to individuals. People have different views and not every single Chinese person agrees or disagrees with the last Anon. I think there are more serious things that people should be focused on. Edit: I also want to point out that my Wukong is a fictional character and I don't view him as THE Wukong, the deity that is worshipped! That's why I don't bring worshipping Wukong in this AU! I draw a line on that one!

Here are the other two Shadowpeach kids I designed. These two Jidu and Luohou, the other two children of Monkey King's from JTTS Link. Face markings are based on the lunar node symbols. For the AU I came up with they would be born sometime after Wukong and Macaque reconcile, so either after season 3 or 4 (haven’t decided which yet).

Jidu is like the Lunar Eclipse. He's an optimist that likes to bounce from one thing to another when it interests him. Even if he's not good at something he'll continue trying it as long he enjoys it. Looks mostly like Macaque but with Wukong’s gold fur.

While Luohou is like the Solar Eclipse. Usually great at anything he tries but tends to hyper focus on minor mistakes. Gets easily frustrated when something doesn’t go his way. Looks mostly like Wukong except with Macaque’s dark fur.

When it comes to powers I haven't really decided yet, except that Jidu has Macaque's hearing and Luohou has Wukong's gold vision. I made the twins younger than Yuebei Xing but l actually don't know which of them are older.

Any Journey to the West AU's or iterations you particularly enjoy/like?

I’m a big fan of the Wukongverse! I would have to say that’s probably the most obvious AU that I really enjoy seeing.

As for other AUs I can’t really say like much considering that either they are very niche or just barely deviating from the original stuff. If anything, I just like seeing other artist interpretations of Xiyouji and what kind of creation come from the imagination from there.

Particularly at the moment I really like any AU with the Supplement or JTTS children and how Wukongs handles being a single dad/being in a found family. Those are probably my biggest comfort.

Stefan scraped knee is everything- they probably hate (and love) that their Stefan instantly heal because they can’t take care of bruises. and M2D Enzo fussing over FASFTS!Stefan because his never actually seen his son so little- (My heart literally grew when you mentioned it as ‘his son’, IK is the Au but I still smiled stupid because I love that so much-)

What would FASFTS!Damon think of IRH & M2D Stefan being vampires? I know you’ve mentioned Stefan will become a vampire in FASFTS but that hasn’t happened yet. Like he gets to see how Stefan will look like when his older, but Stefan won’t grow up further than that-

F!Damon would be sad to think that the other two Stefans were vampires. It's the last thing he wants for his brother. Even though more than anything he wants Stefan to stay little, he wants him to have a future too. Live a life that Damon can't because he's a vampire now.

He'd definitely find it weird with the contrasting time periods. Ask them truly what it's like to live so long. Especially as in his mind, he won't have Stefan by his side as long as they will. It'd definitely be bittersweet for sure.

Not my type of fic to write haha, I'd prefer them to stay separate. But it is fun to theorize!

What is Journey To The Sun?

Journey To The Sun is currently an original fantasy story that I am planning on writing and publishing, though it was originally an au about the newscapecrew and a few other youtubers.

Where?

Journey To The Sun(JTTS) takes place in a fantasy setting. As such, there are many different species and creatures that exist in this world(including humans) that may seem familiar, but I have decided to take my own spin on some of them.

In JTTS, there are 7 main kingdoms, 6 of them each made for one particular species. Of course, other species can live in these kingdoms, even if the kingdom isn’t made to house them. However, they are usually forced to live in small restricted areas due to the fact that the kingdom isn’t designed to suit them.(this will make more sense when I start to explain each kingdom and all the different species). There is one kingdom that allows all species to live there, and it is absolutely hectic. Though, those who live in that kingdom have claimed that it is a paradise.

Since 6 of the kingdoms are made only to house 6 of the 15 species existing in this world, the rest of the 9 species either live in the 7th kingdom, or in small towns and villages. Some of the towns and villages are only made to house one particular species(similar to most of the kingdoms), though other species can live there if they want to. Most of the towns and villages allow all species to live there.

In JTTS, there are 15 different species.(There are three more ‘species’ that I have included in the list that technically don’t count as species? But they appear in the story and play a role in JTTS, so for now they are here.(Purple-Has a kingdom, Red- Technically not a species, Black- The others, ✅- My own creation)

Story?

And now, we have come to what JTTS is going to be about.

Here’s the thing; Misno doesn’t remember his past. He knows that he and 5 others had been kidnapped by a strange group at a young age, and that that group experimented on them for at least a year. He knows that they were eventually rescued by 3 strangers who told them that the group was evil(yeah no shit). He knows that his name is Misno. Other than that? His family, age, birthday, friends, birth place? No idea at all. Not a single clue. And after 10 years, he had come to accept the fact that he probably would never know any of those facts ever again, and he had been fine with it.

That was, until a strange man came up to his door and claimed he knew how to get his, and everyone else’s, memories back.

And, well, who would turn down the chance like that?

(Old description)JTTS centres around 7 main youtubers, aka, the Newscapecrew (Newscapepro, Ashlie9596, JonJon/ToiletJon, FrozenGargon, Shootzki, Unicomics, DawnOfRiku). 6 of them were kidnapped when they were 15 and don’t remember anything from their past. All they know is that, one day they woke up in a building, it started to explode, then some people offered to help them start new lives. They all agreed and were sent to wherever they chose to go(a kingdom, a town, some random place etc.), with the people helping them settle down and build their lives from the ground up.

Most of them are still pretty upset about the fact that they can’t remember anything from before that day, but there are at least 2 of them who have accepted that fact. So imagine their surprise when a random guy comes up to them and claims that he can help restore their memories, they just have to come with him and help him gather the rest of the group.

JTTS starts off with only 2 of the 7 characters showing up, but that number slowly increases as the story progresses. Many other youtubers(mostly minecraft youtubers and gamers) will show up throughout the story, either as side-characters or as ‘villains’ , though the story will mostly centre around the Newscapecrew.

(Edit: Ok, although all the characters are now original, some of the names might still have some resemblance to the original youtubers that had their role. I’m changing most of the names, but you might see some similarities if you look at my old drawings and how I named them. Despite this, these characters are not the youtubers. They are still their own characters. 👍🏻)

Technically, there are still a few parts of the story I haven’t fleshed out yet and this story has changed from what I originally had in mind when I drew the first few character sheets, but I’m gonna work it out as I go along. I have the main outline of where I want this story to go and a few specific details I want to include, so all I have to figure out is the rest of the specifics.

Also, this story is going to be mainly written down, but occasionally I will include some drawings to help people better picture the characters or the scenes.

Jaccob Twotwo - A rare male Jadeblood, he was sent away from the caverns with the rest of his hatchmates at an early age, probably because the Higher-Ups don’t trust male Jadebloods all that much, but not enough to cull them. Jaccob has a cyclops lusus (Like Sollux) and wields pistolkind. His trolltag is ‘doubleSleuth’ and he “speakS iN A reversE kanayA waY. alsO repeatS himselF, himselF.’

Buford Pewugh - Tealblood. Unlike most of his kind, he isn’t too into Alternian Law or justice, he’s more into just being... there. He’s basically stoned Gamzee but not exactly stoned/sopored up, that’s just how he is. He wields axekind and his trolltag is ‘clockworkGalaga’ and he speaks ‘actually ju2t liike 2ollux, but 2toned.’

Renegh Ratele - Mutantblood but she masquerades as a Cerulean blood. For all her smarts and general highblood attitude, she’s actually carrying a deadly secret, one which prevents her from fully using her supposed ‘rank’ on the Hemospectrum. Only Jaccob and Buford know about her... ‘secret.’ Wields Cleaverkind and her trolltag is grimGimmicks, she speaks ‘8asically like ze French equivalent of Vriska.’

Relationships - Jacob and Buford are moirails, though one or both might have flush crushes and Jacob and Renee? Honestly, who knows. One might assume it’s a kismesissitude, but they’re somehow all the quadrants at once, all of them.
