i kinda was having a hard time looking for fanart of the mr dice guy and now im wondering if theres any at all
i also didnt actually grasp how the roulette board thing looked (tbf ive necer been to a casino or gambled, simply cause i legally cant) so now im gonna just go through the episode again to actually get an idea of how it looks
it pains me to know how this is the last episode with clorten because they had such good chemistry with him and they all seemed to have fun with ranboo on the show
my initial thoughts going in were that clorten was kinda a villain here who owned the casino but i still enjoyed this
my god i want clorten and gillion to reunite they just are 2 loveable idiots together
im gonna guess jay fucked herself as she just left her weapons there lmfao
i could just keep going on about how much i love ranboobs character and that i love the chemistry he had there and that ill miss him a ton so instead ill make an au in my head where he just joins this pirate crew

i miss early campaign chip. literally he tore off his pants in a casino then got surprised when he was naked. why don’t we talk about that more he used to be so stupid. he was such a fucking bastard. in episode 8 when gillion entered niklaus’ cottage chip was literally like “well!” and was ready to leave him cause he was hungry. he literally rolled so low on his own medicine check that he thought he was dead. he’s still an idiot now but he used to be such a uniquely special kind of stupid before

while i know the dash has been talking abt the guest characters already personally i love to think abt every riptide guest all somehow getting together and joining the same crew(?). like they're all hanging out together in the background. maybe not as a pirate crew but they're there.
upon leaving seamart clorten immediately got lost again and just kinda floated island to island. at some point he ran into la alma while grocery shopping and after discovering they both knew the riptide crew they decided to stick together for a bit (clorten hoped having la alma guide/sail would make them less lost. it does not. his helplessness knows no bounds)
eventually the two sail up upon dooke and meet duke dukem who invites them to live w him (bc like dooke is chill but all the living plants and shit are kind of annoying and he doesnt like them and hes going a BIT mad here alone). they just like shrug and accept it.
after like a month together tastrius washes up on their shore, like full family guy death pose covered in seaweed (dooke picked him up and put him there). duke is like "hey dude welcome to my island. whats up." and tastrius gives this big long and elegant story abt how hes cursed to live forever and he's been drifting in the sea currents but at least he could finally set his crew to rest and after theres this heavy pause and duke is like. "cool wanna join my town theres 3 of us" and tastruis just goes "....yes".
so now they're all just living on dooke and its a semi-functional group situation they're like a sitcom
#la alma is the only reason they have Not Starved#(clorten before was living solely off fantasy cups of ramen)#(duke just had a massive horde of pretzels stashed up. he was running out and was like. 'well thats going to be a problem' then ignored it)#la alma and tastrius get along best#duke and clorten also get along p well (in the sense clorten awkwardly plays along best to dukes demands)#duke and la alma butt heads a bit#and like you'd think duke and tastrius is off but duke just puts off tastrius So Much it cancels out the tension. he keeps him off balance.#anyway. yes this has been living rent free in my head for like the past week and a half theres a lot of thoughts on em#jrwi#riptide#og post#clorten#la alma#tastrius#duke d dukem

they emerge from the Black Sea depths and just on top of the waters is clorten in a dinky ass little raft and they stare at each other for a good 5 silent seconds before clorten just goes “i got lost again.” they never elaborate further as to how clorten got there.
he's holding his shopping bags from c-mart too. never elaborates on what he bought just that he has everything; the running bit is whenever one of the albatrio needs some weird ass elaborate ass item he will just stick his whole arm down one of his briefcases and just have it. he never explains why, just he bought it before he got lost.
