you loved cheerleading, it made you feel like you were in a typical teenage movie. strangely enough, standing on the sidelines shouting your school name and looking at the basketball players on the court brought you happiness.

the reason for you joining was quite simple, it looked fun. but now, your reason for cheerleading had changed. you had a big crush on a basketball player.

the tall and handsome player jo had caught your eye at the first game. of course he stood out, he was taller than almost every player.

he laughed like he had so much fun playing basketball, it made you smile as well.

another game meant another chance to talk with jo. you always looked forward to it.

there he was, your crush. your whole cheerleading team looked at you with anticipation. their eyes saying go up and talk to him!

you would have to do it one day, you had promised them.

"it can't go that bad, it's a conversation not a confession," the cheer captain reminds you.

"okay, i'll go." how long would you postpone talking to him if you didn't do it right now?

whispers and murmurs come from behind you, your beloved cheer team had your back.

"hey, jo!" you exclaim as you run up to him.

"y/n, right?" he says. he stops dribbling the basketball.

"yeah! i just wanted to wish you good luck,"

"uh, thanks. good luck cheerleading?" he says awkwardly. you chuckle and he relaxes a bit. luckily you hadn't noticed how nervous and surprised he was.

if jo was being honest he had joined the basketball team in the hopes of being asked if he played basketball because of his height. if that were to happen he would just casually say yes. instead, he ended up falling in love with the cheerleader on the sideline.

they're cheering for you, he would think everytime he was playing. it helped a lot, he always did his best with you around.

"well, the game is about to start, i'll do my best cheerleading." you joke. he laughs again as you're about to run of to the sideline.

"hey y/n!" he shouts, his voice echoes through the gymnasium. you turn around, surprised yet full with hope.

he runs up to you, basketball in his hand.

"let's meet up after this game,"

"good luck, y/n~" your cheer friends exclaim as they leave the changing room. your cheeks heat up and you feel your heartbeat in your head.

there he is at the exit. a big bag over his shoulder, and a big jacket over his jersey.

"hey," you call out. he turns around and a small smile forms on his face at the sight of you.

"hey!" he happily replies. "you cheering definitely helped us win."

"well it was you on the court scoring all those points,"

"i wanted to ask you something and i promised myself to ask you the moment you came up and talk to me,"

"what is it?"

"can i have your number?"

« what is love? » he asked you quietly, his face bathed in the moonlight passing through your window. jo was currently slumped against your mattress, his ebony hair spread carelessly on your pillow while you were lying next to him, belly against the bed, chin resting against the palm of your hand. a smile took place on your lips at the sound of his question, his soft voice destabilizing the quiet silence that had previously occupied the room.

pretending to think, without your eyes ever leaving his, your index finger pressed against his pale skin, tracing the curve of his jaw to his chin with your fingertip. « love is.. » you began to say, the sound of your voice echoing in his head like the most bewitching of melodies, « love is your voice. »

he didn't seem to understand, looking for the slightest innuendo in your words to find any clue as to the meaning of your sentence. but jo didn't have time to think as you spoke again, « just hearing your voice can give me butterflies in the stomach. » — you wanted to explain things as you felt them, so you continued your confession, bringing your index finger up to trace the outline of his eyes delicately.

« love is your eyes, » you declared, as he watched you with as much adoration as possible, and this simple little thing caused your heart to miss a beat, « the way you look at things is unique, the gleam in your eyes always makes me feel like i'm even more precious than the biggest diamond. »

jo could swear he'd never enjoyed listening to someone talk so much. he loved that little crackle in your low voice, the way words roll off your tongue like poetry. you were like a sweet dream he didn't want to wake up from. it's thanks to the way you talk that he started to take an interest in you — your voice was the sweetest and most captivating among the whole class. he watched you change position : your right hand previously scattered over his face, now resting against his chest. for the left hand, you moved it delicately so that your fingers intertwined with jo's, suddenly stopping his delicate caresses on your cheek.

« love is your hands, » you resumed, pulling his hand to your lips to place a warm kiss against its back, « when they touch or intertwine with mine, a gentle warmth can't help but permeate my whole being. they are reassuring and comforting, like the ultimate cuddle you need during hard times. »

jo didn't know how you made him love you even more than he already did. nor did he know how his heart managed to beat so fast in his chest. much less how you could refrain from commenting on his flushed cheeks.

« and finally, love is your lips. » you continued, in the most sincere voice in the world, bringing your hand up until your fingers lightly brushed his lower lip. your smile was even sweeter, your eyes filled with stars, and you breathed joy, which filled him with happiness. « jo, every time you smile.. oh gosh, i swear the ground caves in on me. i've never felt my heart race so fast. » you explained, and he could hear your smile in your words. you were so pretty, you were the prettiest in his eyes. no one had ever shake him up as much as you — and he wouldn't lose the love that bound you together for anything in the world.

« love is you, asakura jo, » you end up saying, your voice growing weaker, as if you were sharing the most confidential of secrets with him, « your whole being makes me discover a little more every day what love means. »

unlike you, jo wasn't good with words. but instead of talking, he could act, even if it took him all the courage in the world to do so. then, after a moment's thought, the boy sat up, his warm hands caressing your face in the most delicate of ways. it was as if your cheeks were caught between two cotton fields, and in front of you, the most radiant, comforting and warmest of summer suns appeared. his smile filled the light that was missing from your night, shaking your whole being, giving your heart uncontrollable palpitations. you knew jo was the answer to all your questions about love — and this was confirmed once again when he placed the most unforgettable kiss on your lips.

« i love you, » he murmured against your mouth just as your fingers grasped his sweatshirt, « i love you more than words can ever describe. »

and he was right : because no words could describe the love you meant to each other.

your biggest passion was sketching.

no matter who it was or where you were at, you loved sketching the most beautiful things out there.

that including your classmate and partner, asakura jo.

“and lastly.. y/n and jo! you two will be partners!” your art teacher had smiled at the two of you. you turned around to look at jo, who sat at another table, and smiled at him. he looked at you and gave you his soft smile.

as everyone was walking to their partners, you grabbed your stuff and walked over towards jo, “hi jo!” you said to him. “hi y/n.” he replied back in his soft deep voice. “so do you wanna get started?” he asked you as you nodded.

“we have to make a small sketch of each other, right?” you asked him as he nodded his head, you both grabbed your sketch books with your pencils, getting ready to draw each other.

“okay, do you want me to draw you first?” jo asked politely. “if you want to, i don’t mind.” you told him. you stayed still as jo started to sketch you, it was pretty silent between you two before jo suddenly came closer to you.

his hand went and removed a strand of hair that was near your face as he tucked it behind your ear. “sorry, it was impulse i guess.” he shyly said as you laughed at his action, you didn’t care, it was cute anyways.

he slowly but surely finished drawing you, “okay im done, do you wanna see it?” he asked you as you nodded. he showed you his paper with the drawing of you on it. “woah jo! that’s so pretty, i look better on there then in real life.” you joked as he smiled at your joke.

you two switched places as you started sketching him, as you were drawing him you couldn’t help but notice the little details about him, you didn’t realize you were staring at him until he said something.

“is there something on my face?” he asked as he took you out of your trance, “ah no! i was just looking for your details.” you shyly said as he paid no mind to it. you quickly finished your drawing as you noticed the bell was going to ring soon.

“and.. done!” you showed him as his eyes widened. “woah.. this is really good, thank you y/n!” he replied as you felt your face get hot, “your welcome jo.”

“oh and class! before you leave i’ll mention that the partners you have now are the partners you’ll stick with for the rest of the school year!” your teacher yelled out as the bell rang, signaling everyone to leave.

you and jo packed your things and walked out of the big art room together. “i’ll see you around then y/n.” jo softly said, smiling at you as smiled back at him.

you were going to sketch him more often, and you didn’t mind that at all.

...Finding the big dining tables was easy, your only concern was that by now much more people seemed to have gathered around it, than at first when the venue opened.

But it looked like the unofficial club for the lonely attendees of the prom, just munching and drinking in silence, distracting themselves from the happenings on the dance floor.

So in this case, right now this was the best place for you to be.

...And in case your partner comes, you will be able to see him from afar.

Just in case.

At first, you circled the tables from a bit further away, trying to seek out a free corner, and the different delicacies displayed on countless plates.

You ended up standing in front of a tray of light champagne bottles, the strawberry-frosted chocolate cupcakes a bit too far away from you for your liking.

You casually took a glass, lifting it close to your mouth to take a small sip.

You let your eyes travel through the other residents around the table, staring at some of them for longer seconds.

None of them talked, everybody seemed to be lost in space, eating and drinking.

A couple of minutes later you noticed that only one was left from the strawberry-frosted chocolate cupcakes, and you knew you desperately needed that last one.

So taking swift action you stretched your hand out to grasp it but you ended up touching a random person's hand, on top of the dessert.

The owner of the large palm turned his head in your direction, he was standing exactly beside you, but he was so tall you hardly noticed his face when you first came here.

He was wearing a light gray cotton suit and had graceful, calming features, very cute out-turned ears, a button nose, and doe eyes which held yours in confusion because of the situation.

Realizing your mistake you pulled your hand back, letting him have the cupcake.

You reassured yourself you'll be fine with the honeybuns too, embracing the fact that tonight you're quite unluckily with everything.

But moments later you felt a tap on your shoulder and you saw the same peaceful boy turn to you, and hand you the last cupcake.

"I've already eaten two of those, so you can have it... you deserve it more than me." Then he gave a shy smile.

You took the dessert from him with slight surprise but quietly thanked him for his kindness, and just a moment later you saw him go for the honeybuns, just like you had planned before.

You couldn't help but giggle as he instantly put two on his plate and bit into a third one.

'He must be a big foodie, no wonder he's so tall.' You thought as you watched him eat happily.

It didn't take him long to notice you and your giggle and hand you a plate too, out of embarrassment.

"I planned to go with the honeybuns too if you wouldn't have given me the last cupcake. They must be very delicious." You said, addressing your previous reason for giggling.

"I find everything delicious. Sweets are my favorite, so I tasted every one of these." He said and cutely showed you a thumbs-up while swallowing.

"You seem like you came for the food." You giggled again and took a bite out of my cupcake.

"Not at first... But we both ended up abandoning each other with my partner. I don't know how it happened, but she drifted away from me and then I found myself where the food was." He answered shyly, shrugging his shoulders and averting his eyes for a moment.

This information just proved your guess further, the food tables being the unofficial gathering of the lonely ones around the party.

"Well, I have to admit I'm in a similar situation as well..." You trailed off, admitting slight defeat to your neverending spark of hope in case your partner shows up.

"Even someone as pretty as you..." He muttered but then he gazed at you intensely for a moment.

"Y/n." You felt like you should say your name, so you did. The strong urge to introduce yourself to him caught you off-guard, but you did it anyway.

"...I'm Jo." He reciprocated after a slight pause and gave another cute smile while eating.

It felt right to talk with him, even between bites.

For the first time in the evening, you felt a bit of peace making its way into your heart.

You felt relaxed and calm, maybe it was the bubbly champagne or the sweet food, eating mostly in silence felt good, sometimes exchanging heartwarming words with Jo.

synopsis: you and your friends are playing the pocky game, but you get paired with the guy you're secretly dating.

a/n: i lied guys sorry there's another old request after this and then i'll get to the prompts :>

you take a seat on the floor of your friend wonyoung's living room between yuma and wonyoung herself.

there's eight of you there: you, yuma, jo, ricky, gyuvin, wonyoung, rei, and liz. you're all sitting in a circle on the floor because you were all hanging out and liz suggested you play the pocky game.

gyuvin and rei go first. they get up to the last bit of the strawberry stuff on the pocky before gyuvin gets flustered and backs away.

everyone giggles at them as yuma taps your shoulder. "____, do you wanna-"

"____, let's go next," someone says from across from you.

you look up, shocked at jo's boldness, and kind of send him a look that says 'what the hell are you doing?'

you've both been doing a good job at keeping your friends unaware of your relationship, as yuma had recently confessed to you right before you and jo got together, and you didn't want to hurt him even more after rejecting him.

jo just smiles sweetly and tilts his head, waiting for your response. everyone in the circle has their attention on the two of you now, and you sigh quietly before moving to the middle of the circle.

"fine."

jo catches yuma's defeated look for a split second before he reaches into the bag to pull out a pocky. he reaches to put the stick between your teeth and you panic slightly, backing up a bit.

jo cups your face in his hand. "open."

taken aback, you open your mouth for him to wedge the stick end into your mouth. he then moves closer to you and begins biting off the strawberry flavored end slowly. the closer he gets to your mouth, the more your panic grows.

as he reaches closer to your mouth, he tilts his head sideways so your lips don't touch, but reaches up again to cup your face in his large hand.

then, he does something unexpected. as you lose your cool and drop the stick, he moves as close to you as possible, fully pressing his lips to yours in a sweet, strawberry flavored kiss.

realizing this was inevitable, you go with the flow and close your eyes, kissing him back.

you hear your friends go crazy around you both, screeching and squealing in excitement and surprise.

as you pull away from jo, you giggle.

"are you guys together now or something?" liz asks you both.

"actually, we've been toge-"

you press your palm over jo's mouth, effectively shutting him up.

"i guess," you say, playing it cool. "i've kinda had a crush on him for a while anyway."

jo smirks as you pull your hand off of him. "really?" he grins teasingly. "i didn't know you had such strong feelings for me."

you cover your mouth with your hand. "shut up," you mumble.

he chuckles and pulls you in for another kiss.

you only begin to catch onto the fact that he was jealous of his own best friend just then, and you pull away, giggling.

you lean close to whisper in his ear. "you were jealous of yuma, weren't you?"

he backs up, surprised.

then, he tackles you.

SYNOPSIS ┊ being the girlfriend of your high school's heartthrob, jo, felt like a dream come true. however, the constant name-calling and teasing from his teammates began to take a toll on your self-esteem. jo, unable to bear seeing you hurt, takes matters into his own hands, even if it means quitting the team.

A/N ┊ hii did you guys miss me 😋😋 bye let’s not talk about how the title doesn’t match up with the drabble at all.. SHHHH I literally don’t know what else to put ☹️ anyways short drabble for bae jo becuz I miss him and i don’t wanna be dead anymore haha!! 😆

you never expected to be the girlfriend of the most popular guy in school, jo. he was the star basketball player, with his handsome visuals and long legs that seemed to effortlessly glide across the court. but what drew him to you was the shared art class you had together. he had always had his eyes on you, even before you started dating.

at first, being jo’s girlfriend felt like a dream. he was sweet and caring, always there to comfort and reassure you when the relentless name-calling from his fan girls got to be too much. you didn't mind it at first, but as time went on, their words slowly chipped away at your confidence.

but just when you thought things couldn't get worse, jo’s basketball teammates started picking on you. they would whisper comments about you into his ears, teasing him for dating someone like you and saying he could do better. their words hurt more than anything the fan girls could say, and it felt like a betrayal coming from his own teammates.

one day, during basketball practice, the teasing reached its peak. jo’s eyebrows furrowed with anger as he listened to his teammates' snide remarks. he had had enough. without hesitation, he walked up to you, his usually awkward demeanor replaced with a determined expression.

"hey, let's get out of here," jo said, his voice filled with a mix of protectiveness and frustration.

confused but intrigued, you followed him as he led you away from the gym and into a quieter hallway. once you were alone, jo turned to face you, his eyes filled with a mix of concern and determination.

"i can’t stand seeing them treat you like that," he confessed, his voice laced with anger. "they’re supposed to support me through everything, it makes me wanna quit the team. you deserve so much better than this."

you couldn't help but feel your heart swell at his words. his sudden overprotectiveness was both surprising and attractive to you. you had always admired his strength and skill on the basketball court, but seeing him stand up for you like this made you fall for him even more.

"i appreciate you standing up for me, jo," you replied, your voice filled with gratitude. "but i don't want you to quit because of me."

jo’s expression softened as he reached out to gently cup your face, his touch sending shivers down your spine. "i would do anything for you, even if it means giving up basketball. you mean more to me than anything else."

his words left you speechless, your heart pounding in your chest. you never expected jo to be so open and vulnerable with his feelings. it made you realize just how much he cared for you.

from that day forward, jo’s teammates never dared to say another word about you. the anger in his eyes and the determination in his voice had made it clear that he would not tolerate any more disrespect towards you. his actions spoke louder than any words could, and his teammates finally understood the depth of his feelings for you.

you have been shivering since you walked out of your room and into the living room. the warmth of your blankets is already fading away.

“mom, can we turn on the heater? it’s freezing in here.” you ask your mom, who is eating her breakfast.

“it’s not that cold, you just have to get used to it.”

sighing you sit down and eat your own breakfast. jo would come by soon and pick you up for school. you told him it’s fine and that you could walk by yourself, but he insists on walking with you.

it’s because he “can’t wait to see you”. he didn’t actually tell you that, his best friend harua did. everything jo didn’t want to tell you, harua would tell you.

“make sure to wear your scarf, it seems like it’s freezing outside.” your mom calls out before you head out.

quickly grabbing your scarf you rush out of the door where your boyfriend jo is waiting for you.

“have you been waiting for long?” you ask him as you put on the scarf. he shakes his head and you link your arm with his.

“are you cold? because i certainly am.” he asks you, his eyes meeting your eyes.

“i am freezing,” you chuckle as you put your hands inside your pockets. “hug me?”

jo chuckles before pulling you to the side to embrace you in a big warm hug. you can faintly smell his scent.

“better?” he asks after pulling away.

“way better.”

okay, so! just a quick little update. after receiving the votes from the poll (with a win of a staggering 72.4%) and taking careful consideration, i will begin writing for yuma and jo for the time being, just to test the waters. if i feel at all uncomfortable continuing to write for them, i will stop. but for the mean time, they are fair game. however, i must establish some boundaries beforehand.

i will not write any extremely kinky, hard bdsm, dark, or yandere content for them at this time. nor will i write anything about milfs or large age gaps. however, i may consider writing some things that are considered taboo, so just ask! i have no issue with asking for clarification!

that being said….i’m now opening requests for yuma and jo only. please be patient with me as i fulfill them to my best ability.
