barista’s crush — sung hanbin
sung hanbin looks up at the sound of the bell ringing. it has been a slow day for the café, and he’s been on his phone, waiting for someone to come in.
you’re surprised by the amount of people sitting in the cafe. besides a few students studying, there’s no one.
you heard this café was really good, and you had expected it to be very busy. you can’t help but smile at the sight of a calm café.
hanbin’s eyes follow you to the table next to the window. there were new people coming in every day, but somehow you caught his attention.
deciding he was staring too much, hanbin looks back down at his phone. that is until you walk up, ready to order.
“hi! i would like to order a croffle and an iced latte.” you tell him.
“can i take your name for the coffee?” he asks. hanbin knows that asking for a name is usually for when it’s busy, but he can’t lose the opportunity.
“it’s y/n.” while you’re telling him your name, you catch a glimpse of his name tag. sung hanbin.
“your latte and croffle will be ready soon.” he tells you with a smile.
“thank you, hanbin.” you reply, leaving him a little confused.
sung hanbin had totally forgotten that he was wearing a name tag, mesmerised by your voice. he wondered how a person like you was even real.
a little bit later, hanbin goes to bring you your latte and croffle. his eyes light up when he sees the book you’re reading.
“that’s a really good book.” he comments, making you look up.
“really? i really like this book too.” you say, surprised to know that someone else has read the book.
“i’ll let you read, i won’t spoil anything.” he jokes, and walks away with a warm feeling in his heart.
as the sun begins to set, you realise you’ve been in the café for too long. only you and hanbin are left in the café.
“and?” hanbin asks when you come up to the counter to pay.
“really good book.” you gush. “you have good taste in books.”
“i have more books that are like that, if you want to i can lend them to you.” he suggests.
“really? that’d be great!” he smiles at your enthusiasm. “thank you so much.”
“does that mean we’ll see eachother again?” hanbin asks to make sure.
“we’ll definitely see eachother again.” and with that, hanbin had concluded that he had fallen in love.

couple discount — park gunwook
you and park gunwook had been friends for a few months now. both of you could talk the whole day to eachother if that were possible.
but, the two of you have never properly hung out before. only at school did the two of you talk, and now that it’s spring break, he wanted to see you.
so why is it that your heart is beating so fast when you’re just hanging out with a friend?
gunwook had made up a thousand different kinds of scenarios of what today would be like. gyuvin had suggested to go to an aquarium, thinking it was supposed to be a date.
friends can go to an aquarium too, right?
you could sense that gunwook was waiting for you at the train station even though you couldn’t see him.
quickly checking your hair in your phone, you walk up to gunwook, who was indeed waiting for you.
“sorry for letting you wait.” you apologise. his outfit was looking better than what he usually wears at school.
“i didn’t wait very long, i got here 2 minutes before you.” he chuckles, “are you excited to see fish?”
“very excited.” you say with a smile, and he smiles back. you can’t help but blush at the sight of that gummy smile.
the train ride was calm and quite short, and before you knew it the two of you were standing in front of the building.
“two tickets, please.” gunwook tells the woman behind the glass.
“there is a couple discount this month, are the two of you a couple?” the woman asks kindly. gunwook turns to you with an embarrassed look on his face.
before you can say anything, he turns back to the lady. “yes, we’re a couple.”
“how lovely! spring is the perfect time for a date, am i right?” the lady beams. “enjoy the date!”
gunwook hands you your ticket and you can see he’s trying to hold back his laugh even though he looks a bit flustered.
“we should hang out more often, it’s 25% cheaper when i’m with you.” he comments.
“so you’re hanging out with me for the discount?”
“what?” you can see the wheel’s turning inside his head, “wait, no no-“
“i’m just kidding, gunwook. let’s go see some fish.”
as gunwook watches how you walk away he can’t help but subconsciously grin. he definitely should hang out with you more often.

synopsis : the girls soccer team hasn’t been doing great since the school year started. when nicholas starts taunting you about it you make a bet with him. will the two of you figure your differences out when your soccer team has to play against his?
“HOW LONG UNTIL THE GAME?” chaehyun asks, as she runs to your side. it’s another thursday afternoon training, and even though you’re tired from school, there’s always room for soccer.
“don’t know, i’ve lost track of time now that nicholas isn’t annoying me anymore.” you tell her.
“oh come on, you still want to win, right?” rei, who is running on your other side, complains. her hair is tied into the two braids she has been wearing all day.
“i guess? but it’s not as important anymore. i basically won now that he’s avoiding me and all that.” you tell the two.
“boring! i’m sure as hell going to beat yuma and his stalker friend taki.” rei says with a smile.
chaehyun and you laugh at her determination but the two of you get her frustration.
“you know, yuma requested my twitter account.” she suddenly brings up. chaehyun and you turn to her, surprised.
“he did?” chaehyun says, her face showing a mix of confusion and amusement.
“and you accepted?” you continue. you watch as rei’s face changes immediately.
“no! but i did accept the other guy, harua.”

NICHOLAS PUTS HIS PHONE DOWN WITH A LOUD CLAP. the people from the library give him weird looks. he quickly packs his bag and leaves the library, thinking about how ej had just exposed him.
he never knew ej was mutuals with you, and now ej has finally exposed him.
you scroll through your timeline again, and find the screenshot ej has posted of nicholas’ tweet on his private account.
you were more confused than ever. after all the arguments and hating, nicholas wanted to follow you on twitter?
you shake the thoughts away, and open your locker to get your soccer bag out of it.
he must’ve been talking about someone else.

it’s a sunny day, you and soobin are sitting in the cafeteria, chatting about your classes and upcoming exams. you’re both laughing at a joke when you catch soobi staring at you with a soft expression.
"what?" you ask, slightly confused. you look around, trying to find what he’s laughing at.
"huh? oh, nothing," soobin replies, quickly looking away.
"you're acting weird." you say, nudging him with your elbow. he looks at you again, but can’t seem to hold the eye contact very long.
"it's nothing," he says again, but you can tell that he's lying. it’s the way he doesn’t even want to look at you.
"come on, spill it," you say, trying to get him to look at you. you look around again, and you make eye contact with kim chaewon. your eyes light up, and you enthusiastically turn back to soobin.
“do you like chaewon?!” you exclaim, excited.
“what?!” soobin seems startled by the sudden and random idea. “no!”
“then what is it?” you sigh, “it can’t be that bad.”
“it’s just,” soobin hesitates a little, “you look really pretty today.” it’s silent for a little while, and you don’t know what to say.
“only today?” you eventually say with a smirk. soobin’s eyes widen and his ears turn red.
“no that’s not- you’re-” you amusingly watch him trying to clarify himself.
“i’m just kidding, soobin.” you laugh, “you’re pretty cute as well.”
and even though the comment you made was intended to return the compliment, it had caused soobin’s crush to grow even bigger.
