On the night of Louise's 19th Birthday, Millie wakes up to find Jessica still awake. They chat about their unrequited crush on the birthday girl, and Millie teases Jessica about her interesting relationship advice.

Louise grins sheepishly. "At least it makes your eyes pop?"

Kayle struggles to maintain her composure. It's actually been an amazing party overall.

Kaylee snuggles up to Rudy as he twirls a long string in front of her birthday present.

The kitten wasn't a big fan of the party, though she did enjoy the guests' attention.

Inhaleria bats at the string as Kaylee smiles sleepily.

Kaylee honestly wasn't such a big fan of the party, either, though she was grateful to Louise for planning it.

The quiet finale, though, was just about perfect.

"When will you old lady let me dye your hair?" Jess asks, playing with Kaylee's ponytail after birthday dinner.

"When you finally get glasses," Kaylee retorts even as she leans back into her girlfriend's touch.

omigod her. very pleased with how I made gouache look like watercolor. the sheer fabric. the reference photo for this isn’t at all lighted like this so I even took the time to fix it up in photoshop first

As I prepare to go off on this episode with the review, at least it's nice to see Jessica again and bond with Louise. This was one of the things I want to see since her Season 4 debut and becoming friends. Shame that we'll most likely not going to see her again. And saying that because the last time we saw her was before the pandemic began. Louise and Jessica in the episode were the highlights. Love to see them together. Hope to see more of them. Bring on more Jessica in the future. Give her some justice will ya? I mean, nothing wrong with Rudy, but would be nice for Louise to be around with other friends that she has.

I ship it!

What made you ship it? The sleepover episode where Jessica is one of the first to ever stand up to Louise really got me shipping the two girls together. I don't enjoy dynamics where one partner is just constantly bending to the other's will or constantly getting upset. Jessica is willing to listen to Louise but she'll call Louise out if needed, which is much healthier to me.

What are your favorite things about the ship? The two girls have things in common, like conspiracies and mysteries. Plus, Jessica calms Louise down some while Louise gets Jessica to explore.

Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship? I don't see much louisica so I can't think of any unpopular opinions for them.
