I was just watching the Gilmore Girls episode where Luke’s uncle dies, specifically the part where Rory asks Luke where Jess is and Luke replies something like, “He’s probably playing basketball or something.” Basketball?? When have we ever seen/heard Jess do anything basketball related? Is Luke just that unaware of Jess’s whereabouts/interests? Or is Jess secretly a basketball lover? So much so that Luke just assumes that’s where he is? And Rory accepts this so easily, too?
Also—in the episode where he gets attacked by a swan he lies and tells Rory he got the bruise ‘throwing around a football with a buddy.’ Football? Buddy? Jess has never been seen playing sports and has no friends outside of Rory, how did she believe this so easily? Or is Jess secretly obsessed with sports, mainly basketball and football, that it was easy for her to believe?? What is the truth????

Community Service
Rex, during the commute back to Coruscant: It's so quiet without the 105th troopers around...
Jesse: You're saying that like it's a bad thing?
Rex: Hm? Oh, no not at all. I just... Got used to expecting even more trouble than usual is all...
Jesse: Well, once we get to Coruscant we'll know how they've been getting along with their 'community service' assignment.
Rex: Yeah... Fox is keeping tabs on that while also keeping tabs on when we'll finally be able to pick up a massiff for them. I'm a little nervous to find out what the boys have been up to.
-Several Hours after Touch Down on Triple Zero-
Fox, via holocall: Still no word on the massiff pup, Rex.
Rex: Oh, yeah I know. You'd leave a message if you had anything new on that front. I just uh, wanted to check on how the 105th veterans were dealing with their current assignment.
Fox: ...Well they haven't set the Madam's brothel on fire, if that is what you're worried about.
Rex:
Fox: They're doing ok Rex. I have some of my boys keeping tabs on the 105th men, and they're excellent as security detail. Seem to be receptive to the Madam's crew, since they're the least threatening people on Coruscant.
Rex: And they haven't been... Instigating fights?
Fox: Negative. All is well... Although I do hope the 'breeder' comes through soon, because while they seem to be more comfortable with the Madam's crew, I've been informed that they still seem to have issues trusting each other. A pet project like training their own therapy animal should help them bond more readily.
Rex: I hope so too... Vode that can't trust other vode are a risk to themselves and others. And after everything they've been through, they deserve to at least be able to trust that they have each other's backs.
Fox, somewhat melancholic: Yeah...

You ask for asks and I come bearing a wincest Wednesday question! Do you think Sam ever admitted his feelings for Dean to anybody else and vice versa?
Bless you for the Wincest Wednesday question🖤
Ok so I totally think Sam told Jess. I've written it myself and I headcanon Jess knew.
Gonna rant and add some samjess for this Wincest Wednesday
To me Jess knew because as much as people act like Sam kept her totally in the dark I don't think she was fully clueless to who he was.
She knew he had a rocky childhood, moved around a lot. Dad wasn't really around because of working a lot/traveling for work. Big brother was always there.
She knew that he didn't have a lot of the typical childhood experiences and she was glad to do everything with him.
She noticed he was more likely to open up while they were baking, cooking, or doing normal mundane things.
She found out their freshman year while at an art walk/farmers market that he had never gone trick or treating. That their father wouldn't allow it and him and his big brother just stayed home and watched movies.
"Sammy, we're 19, technically still kids, we're going trick or treating."
She buys them masks from the dollar store and some trick or treating bags too.
As they go from house to house she sees him loosen up and have fun. Eventually she learns his brother's name.
"Dean would never let me live it down if he saw me like this"
That's also when she remembers he's said the name Dean under his breath when she's blowing him. She let's it go for now.
As time goes on she learns more and more about him and Dean.
Dean would do this and Dean would do that.
Nobody could beat Dean in a game of pool or cards
She's come to find out that Dean could do it all.
Junior year he finally let's it slip, they're drinking a little too much, it's the end of the semester and they're celebrating.
Jess is talking about her first crush/first love/first boyfriend/first time and all the awkwardness that comes with being a teenager in love.
"I never really had anyone other than Dean. He was everything and more to me."
That's all Sam says, but it's all she needs to know to confirm what she's always felt.
Sam's always spoken of Dean so fondly like he was long lost love instead of a brother.
She understands though, it was just them two. Two kids on the road with no one but each other for comfort and companionship.
She doesn't judge him and she's not going to try to replace Dean at all.
But she's gonna try her best to be whatever Sam needs and so far she thinks she's been doing a good job.
