When Elton Castee posted the sign-up sheet on the bulletin board outside his Spanish classroom, he knew that there was the huge chance of no one showing up, but there was the side of him that didn’t want to believe that annoying voice in the back of his mind. He wanted to give the students of this high school the same great memories he had when he was their age with this club. Though, he wouldn’t say that often, thinking himself one of the “kids” half the time. So, he forced himself to put up the sheet.

That afternoon, only a few students showed up: Colby Brock (the school’s resident Trade-Mark-and-all emo kid, who constantly had earphones in and wore slightly scary rings), Corey Scherer (a theater kid with an ambitious attitude and was constantly dancing everywhere he went), Aaron Doh (the quite and reserved student who didn’t flinch when the football team tossed slushies in his face), and Katrina Stuart (who knew exactly what she wanted in life and God-forbid anyone stand in her way and her rather amazing vocal range).

While all four were rather good singers and debatable dancers (outside of Corey), Elton needed many more students to join in order for the Glee Club to be... well, a club.

So, Elton scouted and, through maybe some questionable motives, he found 6 more: Sam Golbach (the quarterback of their football team who played the guitar and could sing his heart out when he wanted to, as long as he got over his stage fright), Jake Webber (the center of the football team who Sam dragged along and was obviously the class clown everywhere he went), Xepher Wolf (a quiet girl who needed extra credit to pass Elton’s Spanish class but could give a sick beat on que and simply gave a shrug when Elton suggested joining), a guy who only went by Mike’s Dead (another student Elton was giving extra credit for that had rather graphic t-shirts and seemed the type of person to do questionable things by a dumpster), Devyn Lundy (the high school’s Head Bitch and cheerleader, who Elton was wondering if their coach told her to join to have a spy on the inside), and Cassie Martin (Devyn’s sidekick who followed her around like Devyn put the ground underneath her to walk on).

The first few days were rough for everyone and Elton came home to his bed with a pounding headache. Their screams, mocking voices, and sloshing of slushies resounded. But, soon the students were taking down their walls and getting to know each other.
