#good idea generator #i have been working on it lately. its kind of a mess bc i was emailing it back and forth to myself #and i kinda got the document versions mixed up so i think my primary working document is an older version and is missing a scene #but i have all the docs saved so like. we'll cross that bridge when we're editing. which we are not #i keep adding scenes lol. i dont know why i do this to myself #i also left it alone for most of winter so im in the honeymoon stage with it rn #i read it to myself on my bed kicking my legs back and forth and giggling #like omg wow this is so funny and smart and well-written... twirls hair #every time i read it i wanna post excerpts but one that feels kinda rude when its not done #but two most of the good bits are only good in context. my favourite bit is like literally meaningless #without the 40k words of buildup that precede it. it might be ok as a quote but it just wouldnt be the same #its really not very quotable bc it requires so much context for any of the good one liners to hit #which imo makes the work overall stronger but is very annoying to me bc i love sharing excerpts

What type of memes do you like or post?

Boy, kinda a hard question! Anything that makes me laugh, basically. I have a thing for original and weirdly worded and weirdly delivered phrases that stick in my head, that's often a feature of my favourite memes. Looking through this blog would be a good indication of the kind of memes I like, I suppose...

#i also probably have a somewhat offbeat sense of humour to some #for example i was REALLY into YouTube poop in its early days #like i would go on the youtube poop wiki and follow specific 'poopers' and knew all the terms in the community #it was seen as an art form with serious debates about what qualified as ytp and what was considered 'cancerous' from being overdone and #had all these things like creators doing 'tennis' with each other where they'd edit the video the other one made back and forth #over and over again until the audience decided one of them won somehow #it wasnt something i could really find anybody else to watch with hahaha #some of my friends liked the funnier more accessible ones but idk i like surreal stuff and quotable stuff #and creative remixes and edits and so on #MANY of these creators and videos are not on YouTube anymore due to copyright strikes on their content btw #but some of my fave were the ones that included CD-I zelda and mario and sonic the hedgehog memes #also have you ever seen tim and eric?#i watched that entire show in 2 weeks and felt like my brain melted #had a big weird crush on Eric for a bit #i feel ingesting a lot of both ytp and tim and eric awesome show great job has been somehow formative to me as a person #and my taste in memes #ask #floweryflees #p
