lil organizing update!! i'm finally getting those verse & hc specific docs set up. and rip on not filling my queue up more, i've maybe possibly been distracted by acnh and IRL things. also maybe legacy. oopsydaisy.
i've got almost 3k drafts, not counting stuff i still have in the archive's drafts still (partly cause thats mostly Spicy posts), so it's gonna take awhile to continue sorting through everything. i will try to break things up and have a mix going of verses, hcs, text posts, and gif/photo sets tho i promise

Dawn's Appearance
Oki im going to be talking about how Dawn from my empires / Hermitcraft au, Everything's Interconnected, looks cause I have spent way to long thinking about it. (explaition under the read more thing)
True / Real Forms:
These forms is what Dawn looks like with no magic changing how she looks, she can (and does) hide her wings and antlers, when hidden it is like they never existed in the first place. Not many people know about the existence of these forms / version of Dawn's appearance and thinks she is actually what she pretends to be. When people first see Dawn's true form she is often mistaken as a sculk adjacent species when she is in fact a star elf / space fae (working on what they are called, name of species is not really important).
Hermitcraft S8 & S9
These two are lumped together because they are quite similar. Dawn hides her butterfly wings but keeps her antler visible, they are sometimes mistaken for her just wearing some shed-ed antlers. Most people assume she is a faun or an elf, seeing no-one on Hermitcraft is either so they can't compare Dawn to the real deal (Scar is not an elf in Everything's Interconnected he just pretends to be one for a little bit).
Empires S2
Dawn hides her antlers and keeps her wings out (inverse of Hermitcraft so she can have a little separation between the two), also Dawn changes the appearance of her wings to fit with the sun priestess vibe better. No one on empires is quite sure what she is (they know Dawn is some fae or fae adjacent species) but its empires they don't care.
Dawn is only empires S2 Geminitay, not S1. Empires S1 Geminitay is Amethyst, they are different people. I will one day explain how it works but that is for another time.

not even close to informed or involved w the current republican ao3 staff drama (obviously) but im reminded of that poll that was going around star trek tumblr that asked "do you think a bigot could be a trekkie?" and dozens of people were giving their impassioned takes of how OBVIOUS it is that trek could never be enjoyed by someone whos racist or homophobic or disagrees with Their Personal Beliefs. never minding how star trek is full of bigotry both fantastical and real-world. even the highly praised "progressive" elements like televisions first interracial kiss! (was not actually tvs first interracial kiss) when watched in context its a white man being forced onto a black woman. never mind the wide swaths of openly right wing fans who love the franchise. i like it and im Progressive, so it Must Be Progressive And Revolutionary.
people who identify strongly by their personal perception of their own political beliefs have a knee jerk angry reaction to learning that people with other beliefs enjoy the same things as them. its why certain misogynistic rock fans dedicate their online existence to shitting on babymetal or whatever. its why any tumblrina has ever made a post about liking something in a way that is inherently more clever or thoughtful or deep than any other fan does (bc theyre smarter than Those Fans and not like Those Fans and tbh Those Fans are Not Real Fans)
of course a person can support the republican party while also working for ao3? there are republicans who consider themselves lgbt allies. there are gay republicans. there are gay people who are white supremacists and antisemites and transmisogynists and xenophobes. there are people who masturbate privately to the fantasy of trans bodies qnd its alluring specifically BECAUSE of how publicly they devalue and despise trans lives.
when you learn that you enjoy something thats also enjoyed by bigots, the response shouldnt be to defend yourself, or launch into no-true-scottsman bullshit, or to forcibly distance yourself from those bigots. the appropriate response is to return to the source material and ask yourself why it might attract bigots. ask yourself whether you noticed those themes the first time. (its maybe more obviously true that a fanfiction archive accessible to anyone will have a lot of highly offensive shit, sure, but this is true for any movie, book, or tv show you enjoy.) ask yourself this: if watching a tv show with gay characters ISNT enough to make a person an ally, what am i doing that makes myself at all different from those people?
you will struggle find a fandom or media property or piece of art that is one hundred percent pure and untouched by cruelty or hate. because everything and everyone is the product of the world they come from. make personal judgements and pay attention to the underlying intent and messages of the media yiu internalize and share with others. i dont remember what this post was about. “The boy has risen.”
Five days. It had been exactly five days since those sweet doe-eyes took their last blink. That was probably the hardest part. Missing the sparkle within his eyes. You could stare into that sea of stars for hours, if given the chance. Jungkook was the prettiest human you had ever laid eyes on, and you were more than confident he would be an even prettier newborn vampire.
Jungkook was facing the wall when you first walked into the room. His pale hands were slowly moving around, feeling everything around him, his neck stretching out. The younger was still on the bed you and Taehyung had set up just for his transformation. He had yet to turn around and face you.
“Jungkook-ah, baby.”
Jungkook nearly snaps his neck in half at the sound of your voice. The boy runs into your arms, his new super strength takes you by surprise as he lifts you easily into his arms, almost squishing you to death. “It worked!”
You couldn’t help, but giggle. “Of course it did, silly boy. Were you worried?”
“Yes.” He takes a deep breath, releasing his tight grip (but just by a little). “I just wanted to be like you and Hyung-ie so badly.”
“You are now, baby. Forever.” You drop a kiss into his hair, softly tugging the mess of curls, bringing him in close.
“Mm, forever.”
The younger’s bunny smile was still the same. Not that much his human features would change now that he’s a vampire, he was still as beautiful as ever.
“How you feeling, baby?”
Those words make Jungkook snap into realization. He palms his throat feeling a burning ache, he swallows harshly, the ache grows only more intense. Nearly burning his insides. He notices more things as well. Stuff he didn’t even know was humanly possible, which it’s not, but for a vampire anything is possible. His scent is strong, he swears he can taste the tree bark outside. He definitely feels stronger, he no longer feels soft or weak. As he feels around his newborn body, he feels tougher. Yet the ache in his throat defeats all curiosity, it burns and he’s— well, he’s confused. What’s happening to him?
“You’re hungry.” You state like it’s a fact, because it is, even if you can’t necessarily read his mind.
When a Newborn wakes up from its last and final rest, it realizes its new senses first, everything they knew as a human becomes ten times more interesting as a vampire. They no longer require food, they still feed, but now they depend on one singular fluid, blood, which to a human would be like air or water. They notice their new strengths and with that their very few weaknesses. Soon after though, that’s when the most excruciating part begins.
The baby vampire will realize a scorching sensation that grows quickly in the back of their throat. It’s hunger, of course, but a Newborn won’t recognize that phenomenon, or feeling. It’s like learning to walk all over again. It is not a “natural feeling”, and most dismiss the pain, treat it as merely as insignificant as that of a sore throat. But dismissing the pain only triggers the pain to increase. Before they know it, they will be pulled out for their first feeding, usually led by the eldest vampires. It will be messy, ugly, and most of all a whole new experience. One that will lead to more frequent occurrences.
“Y-Yeah… I think I am.” Jungkook swallows, but it does nothing to ease the burning pain.
You smile, kissing his nose gently. “Don’t worry Jungkookie, Noona will take you on your first feeding.”
“Okay. W-What about Hyung?”
“Taehyung will join us in the next one. He’s taking care of other stuff for now. Don't worry about him. We gotta worry about your thirst first.”
The boy agrees with a light nod. You stick your hand out and Jungkook takes hold of it, following you out of the house and into the darkest parts of the forest. He followed you like a lost puppy, caressing his throat, but even that did nothing. His throat was ripping him apart from the inside.
The journey isn’t far because you made sure that Jungkook had all he needed for his first feeding relatively close. Jungkook takes a good look around, and although he is not alone by any means, he sees nothing. Only the huge trees that surrounded you both. It's murky and slightly cold. What now?
“I-I don’t get it.” Jungkooks gulps. “How am I supposed to feed?”
More like what is he supposed to be feeding on?
The Newborn wraps his arms around himself. He looks lost because he just is. He doesn’t know where to begin, unlike you and Taehyung, you have been feeding all your life and for him, this is much different than picking up food from his local fast food chain.
You only smile. “You don’t smell that yet, hmm?”
Jungkook inhales through his nose as much as his lungs allow him. At first nothing comes, but then the slightest scent catches his attention, kissing the tip of his nose. It is a very faint taste of a metallic sweetness on his tongue, he assumes immediately that this is what you are talking about as yards away he spots a large deer. Then the impossible occurs, Jungkook swears he could taste the blood rushing through the deer’s body. This is impossible.
He can hear the beat of its healthy heart pumping its sweet blood, it beats against his ear deliciously. His mouth nearly drools at the sight. He tilts his head slightly, ready to pounce and shred it to pieces.
“Ahh… now you smell it.”
“N-Noona.” You hear the boy say, he grabs his own throat roughly, making a strangled noise as if he’s in great pain, had his nails been sharper (you made sure to file them while he slept for the last time), he would have torn his own esophagus out by now. He must eat now. “I— I- I”
Your hands are on his face quickly. The vampire gets extremely pale, faint. “What baby? I’m here. Don’t you wanna feed? Come on baby, I’ll show you.”
Jungkook shakes his head. His pink lips start fading white. He’s extremely starved, it’s normal as a Newborn. Everyone is usually scared of their first feeding. Typically, they try to avoid their new carnal feelings, it’s almost animalistic, uncontrollable. It’s a crazy sensation to crave something as taboo as drinking blood. Most of them starve themselves avoiding all sorts of craving, but it’s impossible to ignore. A vampire can only go so long without blood before turning wild leaing them feral, that then is when they feed on anything in sight with no remorse, humans and vampires included.
“What’s wrong, Jungkook-ah? Talk to me, baby.” The Newborn barely holds himself together, his eyes start dropping, unable to stand on his feet any longer, he drops his ass into the ground instead, physically struggling to keep his eyes open.
“S-Shit Jungkook-ah. You’re starving. Don’t worry, Noona will bring the deer to you. Noona will feed you soon, my thirsty baby vampire. I got you.” Though the deer started moving along, it can’t be that far away, you can still smell its blood pumping yards away, almost feeling it drain its precious blood into your mouth. As you turn to end his misery, a strong grip wraps around your wrist.
“D-Don’t. I-I don’t wanna be a-alone.” The baby vampire shivers, cold sweat dripping from his forehead. “N-Noona, I– I think I’m dying.”
You shake your head wiping him down with your jacket, not caring about getting it dirty. “No baby. You’re just hungry. I’m here. I’ll only leave for a second. I promise. I’ll be back.”
Jungkook whines, dragging you tightly against him. “No.”
“Fuck okay. I won’t leave you Jungkook-ah, but you have to feed right now.” You bring a hand behind his neck burying his face against your throat and you hear a muffled cry buried deep into your neck. “Bite down baby. Don’t hold back, but d-don’t take everything. I-I’ll tell you when to stop.”
His breath is hot, you feel his fangs barely graze your neck, not quite enough to cut through the flesh before he pulls off, with a strangled sob. “F-Fangs, they hurt. Really bad.”
“They’re just sensitive, my love. They won’t break off, I know it feels like that, but they won’t. You can do it baby, just bite down.”
Jungkook furiously shakes his head. This won’t do. They fucking hurt. His tongue goes to massage his gums, but he hisses as soon as it comes in contact. It’s far too sensitive. “N-No. I won't be able to bite down, N-Noona. It hurts, ‘m so hungry. Please Noona.”
The younger is not even sure what he’s begging for, but he knows he’s in the best hands. He’s gonna be okay even if right now he feels his throat has been lit on fire. He knows you would never let him die straving so he closes his eyes for a second allowing himself to rest against the tree.
“S-Shit Jungkook. Okay. Sit up baby, Noona will feed you now.” Your fangs come out quickly as they pierce through your wrist, you bite down as hard as you can so the Newborn’s only job will be to place his fangs through. The blood instantly leaks down your wrist before you rush it over his mouth. “Here baby, bite.”
Jungkook attaches himself immediately to your leaking wrist, his fangs fit perfectly within the gaping holes. He moans with the first initial taste, he sucks with a lot of force, you know you should tell him to slow down, but you don’t even have the heart. The Newborn stuffs his fangs (they are a bit longer than yours) even deeper into the soft flesh, the sensitivity in his fangs finally dying down a bit.

Jungkook is nearly sobbing full on tears when you force him off, tugging his hair back with great force. “N-No, puh– please Noona, ‘m sorry. I’m still so hungry. Please. Feed me!”
He shouts at you like you hadn’t been the one helping him from starving to death. “Control yourself, Jungkook-ah. You almost just fucking killed me!”
The boy's eyes soften and he cries harder. “‘M so so sorry, Noona. I don’t want you to die because of me. I’ll be better. S-Sorry.”
The younger one starts to leak pretty tears, decorating his face quite nicely. You sigh lighly, allowing your emotions to simmer. “Stay here. I’ll bring us the meal.”
Jungkook doesn’t hold you back this time, not like he was given the choice anyways, this was an order. He manages to keep his position on the cold gravel. It doesn’t take you long to find the deer, you wrap an arm around the deer and put it down with a quick blow to its chest. This was your least favorite part when you first turned, watching the sweet creature fall to its knees and eventually its death, but it got easier with time. Now, you take them down without hesitation or care, it’s in your nature after all.
You settle the deer at Jungkook’s feet when you return. His eyes widen when he realizes what’s expected of him next. “N-Now what?”
“We eat, my sweet baby vampire.” In the moment, he almost thinks you look cute, but he watches you dig your sharp nails into its wooly hair and tear it nearly in half. The blood rushes out like water and splatters everywhere, some landing on your face and Jungkook’s cheek. Jungkook would be lying if he said this wasn’t the hottest thing he has ever seen, even with blood tainting your perfect face, you were fucking beautiful. Without hesitation you lean in and drink the blood while it’s still fresh and sweet.
Jungkook hesitates for a bit before he leans in on his own side and slurps up. The flood of red liquid cools his burn almost instantly. At first, Jungkook didn’t understand it. Why slash a deer in half when you can just drink from the source directly? It wasn’t convenient, not at all. It's messy and more blood gushes onto the floor than anywhere else, but he gets it now. good morning pokemon community umm. gymsona w other gym leaders i think match their vibe ^_^ do nottt ask me what gen any of these ppl are from dude i play pokemon pearl and cant even tell u who the gym leaders are in that. i opned the pokemon wiki and scrolled

ermm okie side note my only pkmn knowledge is like. pearl. so my bad :3 but the way i made the gym it kinda pushes how gyms traditionally work ... its more like a game show [because i always loved doing the little interviews thru pearl and the contests n stuff] where theres 8 contestants and they just bracket their way down to the final battle against the gym leader/host who is. me technically. but jamie crown is their name ^_^
one fun thing i thought of was because its a live show u wouldnt rlly be able to .. leave and go to the pokecenter and heal or buy items.. so ud have an option to heal between rounds at ur little podium :3 all with pokecenter certified tech or whatev of course !!
because its not gym members i realize it doesnt rlly lend itself towards being a typical gym since it would be ppl from all over coming to compete thinking emoji.. but it kinda works as a like. elite four minigame LOL idk :3 i didnt think ab it too hard

also the visual of jamie tellinf starmie to use surf in a densely packed room with a high concentration of electrical components on live television is sending me into a FIT because they ARE bimbo enough to do that
and also the design alt and the old outfit :3 the last one is just an outfit i found looking at rhythmic gymnastic leotards n went OH THATS SO JAMIE hehe.. the old design is so dear to me and i still rlly like it but i love this new one a lot ^_^ idk i think their design will change a lot regardless because being a game show host i think they would have lots of diff outfits as opposed to a uniform but.. pokemon logic u wear the same outfit for the rest of ur life

I’m sick today so imma share a few band AU idea blerps:
Black Hat got really controlling over the band especially over costuming, makeup, and maybe a few of their songs. He absolutely hated the members wearing ridiculous costumes and extravagant makeup.
So of course Cuphead doubles down. Cuphead and Bendy made a western album consisting of bendy playing acoustic guitar and Cuphead playing piano. (I put a couple songs I had in mind for that album tho its mostly based off of Poor Man’s Poison). And when they went to perform it live Cuphead asked Alice to make him the most over the top cowboy costume.
Stars, of course this just made me think of Ken and Barbie’s cowboy outfits from the movie.
Alice: So you want me to completely redesign your costume for the performance? *sighs* ok what do you want?
Cuphead: PINK.
Cup the night of the show walked out of the dressing room with this hot pink cowboy costume and full makeup. The rest of the band also wore accents of pink somewhere in their costumes but Cuphead went waaaaaaayyyyy overboard.
Cuphead: strikes a pose “So Hat! What do ya think?”
Black Hat: “I THINK I’m not being paid NEARLY enough for this…”
Of course the moment that Cup walked out the crowd went cussing WILD. Alice and Cala were standing off stage and watching cussing proud of what they did. That tour turned out to be one of their best selling performances. (I’m so half debating drawing this dear god….)
It’s safe to say that it definitely taught Hat to back the cuss off.

Okie! I am pleased to finally announce my official Star Wars Self Insert!
This is Luna Okita! She is part of a species that I made called the Orochids. They are essentially space centaurs that have the power of shapeshifting and are naturally gifted with the force. They are a very beautiful species and are very regal, having a monarchy for a government on their home planet. They are said to have the stars in their skin itself and were a gift to the galaxy by the force itself. To be in the presence of an Orochid is considered a blessing by the force and to grant good fortune
Now Luna was born to Queen Noctus. A rather cruel queen who never wished for an heir. So when Luna was born to the galaxy, she was immediately neglected by her mother, refusing to acknowledge her existence and left her to the care of her servants. She wasn’t even named by her mother, only referred to as a wretched swine and an unwanted child. Over time, Noctus’s hatred for her own daughter only grew more and more to the point that she would order her servants to not care for her any longer and to lock her within a room with nothing but a single tiny mattress in the hopes that she would simply perish. But the days went on and Luna’s wails echoed through the halls, but Noctus threatened that if anyone were to help her, they would regret it
During Noctus’s reign as Queen, she had made plenty of enemies in her quest for conquest over other planets. One of these planets was the home to a rather large clan of Mandalorians. After a particularly grueling attack on the Mandalorians camp that resulted in the death of many, the remaining Mandos staged an attack against the Orochids palace in the dark of night
Once the palace was quiet and asleep, the Mandos launched their attack, rushing the palace and beginning to set it alight and killing anyone in their path now this is where a small group of Mandos come in
This is Miguel, leader of the the Mandalorian clan that was attacked by Queen Noctus. And in the attack of their camp, he had lost his pregnant wife to the hands of Queen Noctus. Vexed with the need for revenge, Miguel staged the attack and was the first to rush the palace and the first to begin the burning. In the midst of the fight, Miguel stormed into the castle, intent on hunting Queen Noctus down and taking her head. But in his search for the queen, he came upon a locked door. Assuming the Queen had barricaded herself inside, he began to break it down until the door finally broke off its hinges
Rushing into the room, he expected to see the frightened queen cowering before him. But he was met with not the queen, but something far worse. An empty room with only a single tiny mattress and on the floor in front of him, a tiny and frail Orochid infant. The poor thing was as skinny as could be and upon Miguel’s entrance, the thing began to mewl pitifully as it tried to crawl towards him, crying all the while
Miguel, horrified by what he saw, carefully scooped up the baby and cradled it close in his arms. The poor thing looked as if it wouldn’t last a moment more. But when it snuggled close to his chest, taking in his warmth, he knew what he had to do. Taking the baby from the burning palace, he met back with his fellow Mandalorians. Their job was done and it was time to go home
From there, Miguel took on the responsibility of raising the Orochid, giving her the name of Luna and raising her with his four other Mando’s that he deemed his closest family

From then on Luna is raised to be a Mandalorian and is giving a much better upbringing then what she started out with

do YOU like webcomics or want to read some ? here are some i think are good NO im not gonna put my own here even if i think its good. -_-
starting with . i Think these ones are popular and well known..?
Paranatural - A story about paranormal ghosts and stuff. It's a real fun time, and the story is really good. The author's art progression is really impressive, truly skilled with paneling and such. It does eventually shift into a webnovel format with drawings as the author couldn't keep up with doing pages like before, and the quality of goodness of the story stays strong 👍👍
Tiger, Tiger - Story about the importance of sea sponges. Also a fun time, sea faring adventure about, again, sea sponges and how important they are nothing else OK? promise. (liar) PHENOMENAL artwork, very pretty to look at.... 👍👍
The Property of Hate - I need to reread it because i forgetted a lot but its such a cool looking comic and sooo interesting OK?! i swear. It's about a kid being a hero.
Vainglorious - a fun comic about a dragon facing Hubris Consequences. The main trio is real fun, the world is cool, all in all fun comic okie !!
Sakana - Slice-of-life comic about some folks working at a fish stall in a fish market. Real fun. Been on hiatus for four years, but is gonna make a comeback soon (author is working on building up buffer pages And then... ! ) But yeah! real fun.
Witchy - ... one i have to reread, it's been on hiatus since forever as the author was working on another comic (thatllbe out... in a while?), though i assume when that's done they'll come back to this...? Anyhow, I remember it being a very gripping story, and beautifully drawn... Also it's about witches. if. you . couldnt tell by the.. title...
NOW, onto ones that ... i dont Think are super well known ... ?
EcopportunityX - An interactive stick figure limited color palette comic about a facility where bad shit has happened ! uhoh! What the hell happened here! Follow the protagonist on their journey of learning what happened, and escaping the facility. Also, space pinball and ball pit beast is there. 👍👍👍
Eye in the Sky - And it only feels right to bring it up as well, but this is a fancomic of ecopportunityX ! ... Contains eox spoilers, so perhaps read the original first! This one features original characters and takes place a bit before eox, it's nice ok i like it :]
Gold Scissors - One of my all time favourites TBH. The art is nice, I love the story, the world is so cool i love it a lot... do yourself a favor and read it...
Midnight Connection - Finished! by the author of Gold Scissors, it's a short comic that takes place in the same universe, you can get through it in one sitting!! sniffles.
Brainchild - Comic about girl seeing weeeeeird stuff. Ghosts?! who knows. Tis a cool one OK read it...
Fairmeadow - "i hate being on the hippee comune they are always telling me Peace and Love on planet earth , orc lady, Peace and Love, and they do not leave me alone" - true real 100% words said. you can read it and youll see. Very pretty looking, ...
Holly & Macy and Everyone Else - comic about two teens learning about HOMOSEXUALITY and being a witch and its a very sweet .. i like it ok? it's also on tumblr @/ hollymacycomic

Daisy in DREAMLAND - ........ not a .. webcomic. Tis more a webnovel, i believe. It has pictures. Very cool looking guys, love the style, someone drench this cat in a bucket of water.
