Le 24 octobre, au congrès de Naples, Mussolini prononce un discours devant un défilé de 40 000 chemises noires. Il lance à ses troupes 'Ou ils nous donnent le gouvernement, ou nous le prenons en allant à Rome !' La marche sur Rome commencera le 27 octobre 1922.

Questa volta lo scandalo è scoppiato a Retorbido, un paese in provincia di Pavia, dove il neonato circolo di Fratelli d’Italia sarà dedicato addirittura ad un ras del fascismo, ossia il gerarca fascista Italo Balbo, tra i protagonisti di assalti e pestaggi nelle Camere del lavoro e nelle sedi socialiste in Emilia e tra i responsabili della morte di Don Minzolini. Interpellato sul tema, il segretario provinciale di FdI Claudio Mangiarotti, ha risposto all’AGI affermando che “il nome di Balbo è stato scelto perché è stato un eroe nazionale, un patriota, l’uomo che fece la Trasvolata Atlantica”. “I suoi raid contro gli antifascisti in Emilia? Non conosco così bene la storia, ma stiamo parlando di una medaglio d’oro al valor militare, di un pioniere. Non vedo nulla di male in questa intitolazione, chi fa queste polemiche le porta avanti perché non ha argomenti contro Fratelli d’Italia”. Mangiarotti ha inoltre affermato che a Balbo “sono intitolate strade, scuole e piazze”.  In realtà l’unica intitolazione riguardava quella di un aereo dell’aeronautica, decisione poi prontamente ritirata tra lo sdegno generale. “Una notizia che mi era sfuggita” dice il segretario provinciale.

Obviously everyone's assuming that Prigozhin was assassinated, but I think it would be much funnier if the plane was just shot down accidentally by a trigger-happy SAM operator. Like Italo Balbo. Would really round off the whole clown show.
