Emptying my Aloy folder without doing a picdump (10)

Why is animating laughter so hard!? I've done three animations with laughter and have never been able to get it to look right. It always looks awkward and uncanny. It looks so simple when I see other people do it though!

Here's a few things I've learned in therapy so far

Babies can get depressed and will let themselves die if they don't receive love

You can do or say anything and still get read

I can't talk for shit

Having expectations in a friendship is absolutely ok

I might have been raised in a less than ideal way

Things are so grey all the time and it's frustrating

The brain will perceive the dumbest things as rejection

I apparently crave to be close to my friends but I'm so terrified of rejection and abandonment it's making me push them away

How to be more creative???

Does anyone have tips to be more creative? 

I’m really good at building character motivations, coming up with strong plots relating to those motivations and goals. But I struggle to create plots that feel original. 

Yes, I know the base is one of the 7, and as such, isn’t super original at its core. 

But even in the extensions, the outer layers, it doesn’t feel original. Does anyone have any tips to make a person be more creative?

i don't like him, he's done disgusting things outside of football, committed literal crimes and that's all there is to it really. it's frustrating that he had to be the player who was scoring the majority of our goals last season and is now our captain, makes you feel like you can't celebrate half the time.

Me when I remember that making new freinds and forming new relationships means that self reflecting is common and that it'll be a bit rocky at first and that mistakes don't make you a horrible person

i've died on smaller hills, so i can't judge. but i do think it's funny whenever posts about the proper definition of a poor little meow meow circulate, considering none of them mention that the origin was a kpop fan's absolutely bonkers tweet about not being able to protect a full grown man who was getting backlash for including audio from the jonestown cult leader jim jones in one of his songs

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but please don’t break promises you make to yourself just because it’s you the promise is being made to. You told yourself you’d go on a walk tomorrow morning? Do it. You said you’d get more consistent with your skincare routine? Make it happen. You promised yourself you would work on establishing boundaries regardless of who’s on the other side of them? Follow through with that. Don’t wake up the next day and go “well I don’t HAVE to do this” “it wouldn’t hurt to postpone this” “this isn’t a big deal” because it literally is. Every promise broken is another nail in the coffin of your self-actualization. It’s another major roadblock to developing healthy self-love and self-respect. Weigh promises you’ve made to yourself the same way you would weigh promises you’ve made to others.
