You know how Solomon's group chat names with the others are written in Latin, (Diavolo's, Mammon's, and his chat with Barb and Asmo)? It got me thinking about if he uses a Latin term of endearment for us.

I feel like he'd use something like mea vita - my life, mea lux - my light, meum solatium - my comfort, mea stella - my star, or deliciae - darling/favorite/pet.

There's actually something really inspiring and comforting about Solomon having been alive for who knows how long, having seen humanity at its worst over and over again, having suffered through pain and loss and fear and dread and any horrbile thing imaginable for probably centuries now, and yet not only does he still have faith in humanity as a whole, but he also keeps on saying with zero hesitation that yes, humanity is worth saving and yes, he will do anything it takes to do so

Like yes, we are truly wretched and awful. Yes, we're also filled with love and capable of being kind and compassionate. Yes, we are all deserving of life, no matter what

Well when I said I might post something in March I didn’t actually think I’ll have something done and posted the first day on March, put it’s also an appreciation post to a small handful of people I see (semi) often for a while, I don’t know where this is coming from but I just decided to do it, like every other major “project” I do.

During my time when I was in my art slump I have missed valentines and I’m still upset by it cause I absolutely love valentines and it’s beautiful aesthetic, so this is kinda my “redemption” for it, technically white day is coming up in March but I just feel like it doesn’t feel just as special. 🥲

But I drew old man and barbs as markable plushies, and honestly turning them to markable plushies is oddly therapeutic, since it was so simple and fast. Still debating if I should do the entire side characters plus the additional trio, so I’ll see if people would like for me to do it. 🤔

Aside from that i just wish to to give my wonderful gratitude and appreciation w/ little note for those specific people, but to everyone else in general, I would like to thank you all for your patience’s and interactions, while I haven’t been that active until the last few months of last year, and once again haven’t been that active the last month, I do see people’s comments and replies and fully enjoy reading them, even if I don’t always reply back, I truly enjoy interacting with the OM community, and everyone who I’ve met thus far, and hope to continue being in the community for a while. ☺️💕

Solomon constantly asking for your reassurance whenever he engages in anything romantic is due to his insecurity that he isn’t as important to you as the brothers. He needs to know you want to do this, he needs to know you love him.

If you say no he immediately backs off. You have to go out of your way to kiss him. There’s never a dialogue option that leads to a kiss without you explicitly asking for one, unlike some characters.

Tumblr, give me your Black History Month book recs that are either

1. Fiction, or

2. An interesting historical narrative

I don’t do well with essay collections, and while I acknowledge the importance of looking at the really upsetting parts of history, it’s not what what I want for my commute.

Something I could recommend to my fifth graders would be nice (The student population is mostly Black and the school is VERY big on celebrating Black History Month), but I’d also like to also have some chunkier books for myself.
