I will admit, I am currently anime-only for Dungeon Meshi at the moment, but this is the broad impression of Kabru that I've gotten from the fandom so far, and I have to say, I am very much looking forward to this man's anguish and mental suffering ✨

Sterek Fall Fest 2023: Sweater Weather

I'm trying hard to keep up the creative streak I finally have again so decided to do a clean sketch for the Sterek Fall Fest's 1st prompt "Sweater Weather" and use the opportunity to also try out the new shadowing tool in CSP as a basis for a quick coloration. 😊

It feels so so sooo good to be halfway able to draw again 😭😭 I still am not confident enough to attempt a full fledged, proper & detailed artwork yet, but even seeing this sketch here colored was such a rush of endorphines - like I finally start feeling myself again.❤️

In episode 91, Beau makes an insight check on Essek when he shows up at the Xhorhaus for dinner and says he came in part because it's been a while (🎵) since he had a social engagement. Marisha rolls a nice juicy Nat 20 and Matt delivers a moderately long whisper. It's not a huge mystery; we know that even a Nat 20 on insight has limits to the information it can provide (you're not suddenly clairvoyant or able to access context you didn't already have), and we can surmise especially with post-campaign comments from Matt that it was probably something alluding to Essek's loneliness and some veracity to his claim about it having "been a while" (🎵). But just for entertainment I really wish we could know specifically what the whisper was, because its effect was very funny. Observe:
