Hello! I'm not sure if you've talked about this before, but do you get any revenue from your children book illustrations after the book has been published? Or is all of your work a one time payment?
It depends on your contract with the studio/company/individual/etc. Sadly none of the books I’ve worked on come with royalties 🥲

I don't even use britbox since I don't have the login details so i can only watch it on the television#it's just nice to put it on the television whilst having the opportunity instead of a computer screen until i can transfer them onto dvd#and like. outside of a few episodes on rotation at any time on iview. that's the only consistent way to watch it here.#EVIL.#like yeah having it on d*sney makes it easier for countries that haven't had it easily accessible to watch it#but that shouldn't affect places that HAVE

Like i love the sequels and wish and hope we get more stories with these characters. Especially with K*lo out of the picture
With k*lo gone they literally have no choice but to focus on Finn, Poe and Rey but since most people hate them and d*sney is money hungry they think that those characters aren't profitable so they're not gonna bother plus right now they gonna bleed the mandalorian dry before doing anything with the sequels

admittedly the d*sney animators dolls are quite cute and i definitely prefer them to ag which seem to be the most popular brand for dolls with that size and proportion...but i don't want to buy d*sney dolls lol

i have come to the realization that making and reblogging gifsets for pjo is supporting the d*sney, a heavily zionist corporation, by giving their show promotion. while i personally have never watched the show on d*sney+, and neither should anyone else, the fact that i have still made and spread gifsets about the show isn't any good either and could make someone want to watch the show. i am concidering deleting my gifsets from pjo as keeping them up is still allowing people to promote the show using my work.
this is not any hate to anyone who is working on the show, however it is strange that they are working for a zionist corporation and, by my knowledge, have not spoken up in support of palestine and continue to make promotional content with d*sney.
if you tag me in any pjo gifsets i will not be reblogging and i will stop promoting the show on all social media platforms i am on!

Two weeks after season 2, but I'm still there. Here are some chaotic thoughts I felt like sharing 🌞
Part 1 :)) Contains spoilers for season 2
Free will / Responsability
I was just thinking how, before everything changed in seasons 1 and 2 of Loki, the events on the Sacred Timeline were, so to say, scripted. In He Who Remain's words (though i have to admit it feels weird mentioning him, the man is so LITTLE compared to our Loki); the road was paved.
That's the thing about branches, about the infinity of the vast multiverse. The path isn't paved anymore, no more yellow brick road, every decisions sets you on a new one. Anything can happen. So, if anything can happen, nothing matters? No. If anything can happen, the choices that are made, the paths that are taken, have their own entity. Everyone has a story that they can make different every day. That's what Loki is there for. Rewriting the story. The hard thing to do, the thing that had to be done. And I find that really interesting. If you only believe in Destiny's hand, what are yours there for? Gods don't give humans destiny, because it would be just too easy. Too easy to blame it on fate, rather than take responsability for your actions. And the other way around too, if it all falls on your shoulders, isn't it too much to bear?
That links to burden, the burden of responsability. All "variants" will have the free will, while the God of Stories bears it. for a while. I mean, he won't be there for forever, alone, right? Come on now.
Bittersweet, exceptionally good, but definitely heartbreaking
Yes, I still sob sometimes because a once analyst or jet ski seller from Ohio can't move on from losing / being separated from his favorite person. And that favorite person hearing him from a very long distance.

I genuienly think Loki learned a lot about himself and the essence of life so different from what he knew because of his time at the TVA, not only because of Mobius. As Tom said in an interview ( for SagAftra Foundation) he found himself in this kafkaesque organization, where people, now variants, are just numbers and a verdict: guitly. That gradually changes, but as we see Loki evolve, it's Mobius who stays by his side. They meet at the TVA, and influence each other for the better while changing the institution as well!! "Thanks for the spark"
It's Mobius who looks at Loki without judgement. With a little bit of admiration, even.
It's Mobius who tells Loki he doesn't have to be alone. And that he can be someone good.
He offers this outcast, a "mischevious liar", a hand, both literally and figuratively.
And this is returned, because now Loki is trusting Mobius, something we barely see the God of Mischief do before, right? (examples: Mobius is the one Loki turns to in episode 1, they very much work together in episode 2 when finding Brad and getting that information out of him, and at the end of the ep Loki stayed. The hug, our only on screen *actual* hug between these two, at the end of season 1. It's great).
It's Mobius who Loki turns to, at the roots of this relationship, when not knowing what to do anymore, or needing that last piece of the puzzle, or number of the equation (and knowing the person that will give it). That "thank you, Mobius" as Loki shakes his hand is like a reflection to all this time spent together, not only that moment in time. It's a thank you of ages, of learning how to love and BE loved; learning, across this path, that every life and every branch is worth of love, ultimately turning Loki's understanding and caring of this in the biggest motivation.
And the thing is it doesn't even have to be romantic!! (I mean it kind of is to us fans, but not everyone sees it that way*ahem*D!sney). But even platonically, this is still a very strong connection, undeniable so. Everyone agrees: Kevin Wright "He cares about Mobius, more than he ever cared about anyone else", Eric Martin : "They have great chemestry", Tom: "They're *passionately* disagreeing" or any time he talks about these 2.
Secondly after Loki's fulfilling journey and more than poetic end, these 2 are certainly the best we got this season.

i’m so done.
Willow (2022) being removed from D*sney+ is by far not the worst thing that is happening rn, but it kills me nonetheless. there have been too many emotions as of late. its cancelled, then its not cancelled just delayed, now its being taken down. idk what to feel anymore and i am done.
we shouldn’t have to fight so damn hard for representation, we shouldn’t have to petition and scream to get more than one season. of anything.
Me personally? the emotional stress of falling in love with characters and plots that are pulled out from under me like some sick fucking magic trick has ruined me just a little. this whole Willow debacle and the fact that The 100 just got removed from Canadian Netflix has drained me. (netflix removed the 100 because the contract was up i think) I miss Lexa. I miss Clarke. I’m already preparing myself to miss Jade and Kit. Hell, I’ll even miss boorman.

i am not tagging this but even as a percico stan i’m not even mad at this book’s existence anymore (apart from how much i hate d*sney and pretty much every post-tlo pjo book overall), it’s just… i’ve seen spoilers for it and why does it read awfully, and i say it again awfully like rick and mark fed an AI with 50+ solangelo/anti-solangelo fanworks from ao3 and told it to write a remake out of it? it seems like people are paying $20 to read something they already read multiple times for free, only this time it’s done by authors who are getting paid to do an average job and it’s filled with mischaracterization (no, nico wouldn’t make that lil nas x joke. take nico’s name and replace it with ‘leo’ and you’ll see it doesn’t sound like him at all), will thirsting for nico’s stepmother and a first kiss happening in the exact moment nico was mourning his recently deceased friend.
seriously though, i know most of the readers are young queer people and they’ve been looking forward to this for a long while, but this book just proves that if quality were rick’s priority the series would have been finished YEARS ago. it’s just commercial literature at its worse at this point; it bases itself on nostalgia and gaslights its readers into believing there’s any necessity for this arc to be ever-expanding just so they can get until the very last penny they can make out of their readers.

i stopped watching marvel after moon knight i think? it was somewhere around that time frame. anyway i am so ready for season 2 of loki. i am a believer in the first few shows they put out on d*sney plus, after that i wasn't really a fan anymore and now the lore is too complicated to get into again. that being said i hope loki and mobius kiss.

i find it kinda sad that even thought the sequels weren’t great I do think disney had to drop some post tros content bc of the backlash. we might have gotten some cool shit esp with that jannah and lando scene in tros. imagine if we had gotten a finnpoe show 😭
i knowwww. So many possibilities for post-tros content ESPECIALLY having Finn start jedi training, helping the remaining first order troopers, or even finding his family, plus they definitely set something up with Jannah and Lando so the stories are there but it seems disney aint interested 😭
