Familar Stranger

DP x DC au with a dash of dimensional travel where Danny, due to his ghostly nature, looks slightly different depending on how others perceive him.

Warning: OP has no knowledge of space other than Google and is also a non-native English speaker; proceed with caution.

Same startup kits; Danny becomes the successor to the Infinity Realm (he's a baby by both ghost and human standards, so there's a temporary council for now). Anyway, he still has some power over the ghosts, so he asks them to lessen the amount of fighting to focus on schoolwork and "princely education."

Now here's where my brainrot begins.

The Lazarus Pits, necromantic rituals, or portals of any kind that have "death" or "soul" in them tend to be connected to the Ghost Zone. However, the zone has its own defensive mechanism, so unless someone *Fentons* actively makes a gateway or has "experienced" death, it's nearly impossible to come upon the zone. A certain furry bridage in Gotham has unknowingly ticked all the checkboxes.

During a misson, one of the bats got caught in a magic situation and got transported to the Infinity Realms. They wandered around, dogding ghosts, slowly getting insane from all these damn corridors and living paintings, before they stumbled upon a seemingly random door (CW is involved; he's having a great time testing the poor bat).

Opening the door leads them to the universe. They closed the door, then opened it again. Yep, that's an entire universe complete with its own planetary systems and, oh, so pretty stars growing and dying in a blink of an eye. Another check around shows them that this is the only door so far in the endlessly long hallway. They look down (if there's even a down, for there's only infinity) and take an experimental step. The Milky Way lit up under their feet, with stars gathering around to form a twisting path to nowhere.

For the next couple of hours, days, or minutes, they made their way through the galaxies. Just when they were about to spiral into a midlife crisis, they heard... humming?

Did they finally lose it? They asked themselves before noticing a glowing figure sitting on an asteroid nearby.

"Hello?"

The figure flinched, and life paused. The blackhole by their left stopped spinning, the stars weren't twinkling, and the figure turned their head. Now it's their blood that runs cold.

"You're not supposed to be here."

Lazarus-colored orbs stared back at them with a familiar face but an unfamiliar voice. Damian tilted his head, looking at them in confusion (there's something wrong, wrong, wrong-). They blinked because, what the hell, seeing something other than a scowl on the boy's face is WeirdTM. Suddenly, that's a teenaged Jason staring at them, much closer than he(?) was before.

At this point, they realized— eyes moving over the entire regalia and the glowing crown that just appeared—they're probably in deep sh*t.

since they met in the 70's, i wanted to try and draw how they looked like back then (i know nothing about fashion ;v;-)

for some reason i always end up mixing or forgetting the year their bilateral relations started (1972). maybe its bc i dont like history. Specially when it comes to remembering important dates lol

And now, instead of just caring for it, you are trying to make it look as if it’s a different hair type. Of course it’s gonna be difficult! It’s fine if you don’t like it, but don’t keep pushing the narrative that it’s an inherent flaw in our hair type.

#honestly even though I’ve never had any kind of relaxer or perm and have only gotten my hair straightened a few times #I will always prefer my natural hair and in fact find it so much easier #like yeah! putting it in styles like mini twists or braids takes a while #but then you’re like… done for a while?#like maybe you’ll do some touch ups and oil your scalp #but then you don’t gotta do anything special for sometimes a week #or more if you’re brave #and strategic #you don’t have you wash your hair every day and as long as the proper steps are taken you don’t gotta de tangle it every day #you’re way less likely to get lice #beautiful world honestly

My unpopular opinion abt the new Castlevania series ig is that I just don't have any care or sympathy for these little church goons that they were trying to humanize this time around... Like Olrox revenge kill go off, I watch u kill that boys mom minute 1 but I'm still in ur corner bbygirl! I see ur thru line.

But then his little shitty church bf sanctioning and standing by all the actions of the church and also we don't talk about the homophobia he's supporting while also being gay and also sleeping w a man his church would have (and did) sanctioned the genocide of several times over... I'm supposed to think the way he shut Olrox down was anything worth feeling bad for, I just rolled my eyes at his self righteousness. Walk away from that man, Olrox!! We saw where this manic Christian love leads, and it's what ur Abbott did (who I also don't give 1 fuck about him or his white xtian guilt especially after That LOL)

I guess I can tentatively respect that the church guard's storyline is gonna potentially be about deprogramming him, but I hate that they seemed to be posing him as correct in accusing Olrox of having no soul, when we as the viewer know it was an act of love that he didn't think he was capable anymore, after what was done to him at the hands of ppl that the church guard. To me all i felt was the heartache from his POV so common in these communities where u thought you have a Good Christian that saw you, but he still sees you as the monolith of his imaginary enemy the second push comes to shove, even though your actions have shown again and again that there's nuance to be had

got my hair cut today (haven't had it cut since early april) and it always looks good when a stylist blow drys it but it's always sorta a toss up of if it'll look good with my normal styling (which is basically nothing lol) so the jury's out until tomorrow BUT

right now i really like it 🥺 i got a bunch cut off and i feel so much better 🥺

#personal #i love getting my hair cut but hate paying for it L O L #also i'm lazy about actually booking appointments #so i go longer between haircuts than i probably should but i don't really care #also i went to a new stylist today and she was really nice!!#always makes me feel good when they tell me my hair is healthy hahaha #she also said she thought i was like 19 which is not even close and i know she was probably just being nice but I'LL TAKE IT LOLOLOL #and i got a lil bit of a special hair mask done on a whim and my hair feels so softttttt #most of the time stylists at this salon take like...30-45 minutes for my appointments but this one ended up lasting a solid hour and a half #which i didn't even realize bc it didn't feel like an hour and a half #and my hair certainly doesn't LOOK like it took an hour and a half #but i didn't have anything else going on and it was nice to just sorta sit there with no expectations and chill #i didn't sleep as much as i would've liked to last night though and i am incredibly tired #and yet i agreed to go hang out with friends tomorrow #so i suppose i should attempt some amount of sleep now fjeiao;fe help me
