My Opinions on Astrology Placements
Guys this is just an observation based on my own interactions on people with these signs. I think this is fun to do and it would be cool if you guys can comments on your opinions. I am not an astrologer nor do I study astrology deeply. I am an astrologer enthusiast :)
Red for Fire, Green for Earth, Blue for Water, and Purple for Air signs
Aires Rising have a youthful outlook on life. Which makes sense to me because they are the first of the zodiac signs. Aires rising are fun to hang around with but depending on what their sun sign is, they seem to always be on the lookout for a new approach or experience in life.
Venus in Scorpio love love. They are obsessive in love, they don’t have bad intentions either. It’s just their nature and it’s cute but it totally depends on how this manifest in peoples life.
Scorpio stellium, they love to pretend that they don’t care and then secretly they do care. They be acting like everyone doesn’t already know that they are “secretly” obsessed😂
Venus in Aires, as a Venus in aires. Yes, I’m obsessed with love fr. That’s why I started a whole tumblr and patreon on love/lust/sexual astrology. I love love and passion. Sometimes we can be intense in love and come off that way in relationships but it’s because they feel deeply.
Capricorn moons, they be secretly doing self improvements or moving in silence. Once you attempt to expose what they are working on, they’ll try to quickly shut it down. They like to play it off, they like to make others think they aren’t on that grind.
Leo risings are so bright. Everyone knows someone that is a leo rising that is popular. The stereotypes are true fr. They also can come off as a little bit self-righteous. They can easily make people follow them! I notice that they are able to light up a whole gloomy room. Sometimes this indicates a strong spiritual connection to their intuition.
Libra placements for seem to view all sides of an argument but if un-evolved then I see that they can come off as very defensive about their perspective.
Taurus placements are chill when they get drunk but they can go crazy when they aren’t drunk LMFAOO?
Pisces placements are the best because I am the best :) LMFAOOO. People need to watch out for pisces placements because they are manipulative asf. in privacy
dude's so chill and casual, familiar, literally giving the vibes of a big family that lives nearby each other. he's like so much more introverted, not only did I get the hermit but the 4 of cups at the same time. you see wooyoung quiet in the back during interviews? that's genuinely how he is casually, just vibing in his own head, in his own world. he doesn't move much, he likes things to stay the same forever and ever, if possible, he likes what he already knows. he's a very polite dude, "excuse me, please and thank you" seem to be natural part of his vocabulary, he treats people fairly like how they treat others, actually. very protective of his kind, would kill for those he loves, big big heart. he's not as flashy with his money or physical appearance, like how his style is mostly casual and comfortable gym clothes or how he spent years with that old ass iPhone 5 just because it still worked 😭😭😭☝️I don't think he keeps a lot to himself, he seems to give away his stuff to family and really really close friends, he doesn't care that much about being socially powerful, he likes genuine connections with those that are similar to him (example, moving from a company with a big name to follow a friend because he's genuinely happy with little things and moments). I think he's pretty quiet and private in general and very traditional for SURE, like "there's a proper way to treat people and exist in civilization". hobbies would include quality time with friends and family, arts like pictures, drawing, paintings, cooking, games. he loves company.

Hi! I’ve been following this blog for a bit and I love that you are having a HH phase, bc same. Can I get a matchup for the event?
★Gender and pref: I’m a he/she and choose how I present myself based on the setting bc I’m not that open with ppl (yeah, I think it’s important to express yourself but realistically that won’t get me far in certain settings in my country); no gender pref but I’m not too fond of some writing choices when it comes to women in Viv’s works, depends on a character though
★Style: kinda rockstar gf vibe? Sometimes softer colours too
★Personality, hobbies: I’m social and extroverted. Usually that leaves me as a leader of whatever group I’m in. I have a little bit of a hater in me, but I don’t show it if ppl don’t encourage it. I do like when it’s being enabled though. It’s not convenient when you’re in a position where ppl ask you for opinions and actually follow your guide, yk, if I manage an event I’m not going to go around shit talking everything. It feels nice to have someone who does that though, makes it easier to join in and not feel like a jerk (or at least be jerks together I guess??). I write my own songs and am in a band as a backup vocal. Kinda proud that it’s my band but I need to get better until I step up as anything more. I’m a bit of a perfectionist. I like to tease ppl if given the opportunity. Others say I’m flirty. Bold with it at that. I’m ambitious too. Kind of a big thing but I have npd (if you want to look it up without reading scientific papers, go on tumblr, bc the rest of the internet is filled with ‘demonic narcissism’ bullshit) and it influences the way I am. I care lots about my image and don’t have a ton of empathy. I don’t go kicking puppies, but it’s noticeable how I lack in this department. Sometimes people say I’m ’too nice to have it’ cause i do well with kids and do all the youth group volunteering. Also, I do some martial arts and other sports. I try to be responsible and respectful but I have no issue finding my place at a wild party or something. Finally finished Playboyy and I still don't know what to think of it
I'll start by saying that I freely drop shows with no hesitation. The fact that I stuck with it shows that somehow it captured my attention.
I think Playboyy had a good concept in mind and I did like some of the characters and couple dynamics. It had some good reveals that left me going "OH!! So thats how it is". The cinematography at some points was honestly pretty damn good and there were some beautiful shots. So as much as people hate on it, Playboyy isn't devoid of some kind of quality. It's not the meaningless show some people imagine it being.
However, it felt unorganized/messy and there is the question of how many sex scenes and couples are too much. I'm down with chaotic shows and large casts that's chill. But it led the show to be difficult to follow for me. I'm absolutely shit with names and 7 ships is way too much for my brain to follow. I think the show did an alright job at giving everyone some kind of personality, but part of me wishes there was more space for learning more about the individual characters.
I'm 100% fine with sex scene, explicit sex scenes even. I knew going into the show that it'd be told through lots of sex scenes. But I think it could have flowed a touch better. Maybe have the plot embedded into the sex scenes better (no clue how). Instead it felt like 10 minutes of mystery solving to keep the plot going and suddenly they're fucking in cosplay like some kinky sex jumpscare. Hilarious to me, but it threw me off. Maybe they wanted the chaotic hard to follow vibes, but I do not have the concentration and memory.
I think it's really cool that they had separate storylines with all the couples and they had then interconnected the way that they did. Whether it be connecting individual characters to each other in ways you didn't think they'd be connected, or couples as a unit. Though I think if they had the first big reveal (after the plot really started kicking) around episode 8(??) a bit earlier.... or had the plot going hard a bit earlier that would've kept more people into the show. Cause by the time the plot got more obviously complex, most of the people who were eventually gonna drop the show had already dropped it. Largely because they weren't feeling the plot. They felt like the plot was going in and out of existence (and tbh that kinda was the vibe sometimes).
In conclusion: Definitely has potential and good ideas, but it ultimately fumbled them a bit.
I want to clarify that I DID like it. It's not a horrible show and did some things really well. I appreciate the stories they were trying to tell so much. My brain just lost focus some times... so certain aspects could've been done better.

Fuck clubs. The hole-in-the-wall karaoke bars are where you want to be. They have things to do other than drink and many will have different events during the week. You'll run into every type of person of every age. A few weeks ago I sat and had a conversation with a trans man who had just recently started transitioning in his 60s next to a person I hadn't seen since high school. There's no pressure to dress up all fancy, either. You have something to do other than sit, drink, and talk – it's fun listening to people perform, no matter their talent level, because we're all having fun. And then you can get on stage and put on the shittiest performance of your life and people will pat you on the back and congratulate you as you walk off. Sometimes a large man will rip a huge line of cocaine and then sing 2000s pop music and you'll feel emotions you'll never felt before. Sometimes you meet older women who give you the best life advice you've ever heard while rolling the fattest joint for y'all to smoke together. Sometimes someone will just bring their (non-service) pet and everyone is just like hell yeah that's cool. Most of the people there are regulars, and once everyone gets to really know you, you can walk into the bar confidently knowing that no one will try to make you uncomfortable or push your boundaries, and if someone tried, there's already 10 people in line waiting to beat their ass over it.
Clubs are a sensory nightmare for a lot of us – usually packed as hell, bright lights flashing everywhere, so many people talking on top of the loud ass music that you can't hear anything, etc. They're more expensive to be at, most of the people there are college-age, and there's a higher pressure to look a certain way before you go out. A bigger crowd means more danger, too – especially when it comes to watching your drink. The regulars at smaller bars watch out for each other a lot – busy bartenders serving hundreds of people at a club can't monitor that as easily.
I say this as a person who has a hard time socializing. Just getting myself out there and around people really helped me to feel happier about the world and myself, knowing that there are so many more people like me than I thought. Conversations with people who are much older than me have made me more excited for the future than scared. There have even been plenty of times I've gotten into conversations with conservative leaning people and ended up with them agreeing with me after hearing my opinion out. Because people are at the bar because they WANT to connect with people. They don't want to start an angry argument and look like an asshole, and they'd get kicked out if they did, anyway. (Granted, I am also a small white female-paasing person, so I'm a bit safer having these conversations than other people would be.)
You don't have to be invited. Just show up. Find which place suits you. People don't care or think you're weird if you just show up and sit alone. I promise you. Drinking isn't required. Hell, in states where it's legal, you can just sit and smoke weed out on the porch and chill if that's what you're into.
Being lonely can suck. And I know bars and clubs aren't for everyone. But I figured I'd share my experience, because finding a way to put myself out there has done wonders for my adult self.

No you're 100% right though literally what WAS the initial appeal of Solangelo if not the fact that Will isn't intimidated by/uncomfortable around Nico. It was his connection to the Underworld that made everyone else wary of him but Will didn't care. BoO even implied that it has NEVER been the case for Will to the extent that he can't really glean why everyone ELSE is so weird about Nico.
YEAH!
i used to have very negative feelings (kinda still do) about Will in BoO being like “nah nico you’re making up the fact that everyone treats you like dirt” after three books of the seven’s pov being like “nico was scary and creepy and he sucked”, but recently i’ve started to think it would make sense for will to say that and mean it, if he’s so genuinely un-scared and awestruck by Nico that he doesn’t get why others wouldn’t be.
not to mention that Nico has been burned so many times that it’s not too unrealistic for him to get mean and defensive to people who try to be his friends. He’s always polite and helpful to the Seven in HoO except for two moments: in the first one Jason asks him if they could be friends after the Cupid mess and Nico’s like L+ratio+mind your own business, in the other Percy tries to honestly thank him for getting Bob on their side and Nico tells him to fuck off.
all of this also adds layers to the idea that Will was never scared of Nico. Based on his HoO characterization, we can make the educated guess that Nico must have gotten nasty and attacked-first-as-a-defense-mechanism pretty often in the early stage of their tentative friendship, and he still decided to stick around.
he’s not even shown to be particularly impressed by nico’s powers in BoO. he’s like sure grandpa let’s get you to bed🙄 when Nico boasts that he will raise the dead to beat Will’s ass if he doesn’t get off or whatever, and it was surely an act, but it also indicated something important: Will was strong willed (lol) enough and liked Nico enough to not be deterred by Underworld stuff.
you’re telling me that a year and a half later, having won the hard battle for Nico’s heart, he suddenly would be not only terrified of everything Underworld, but even more so than we could have imagined?
i’ll admit that ToN was already setting this up by having Will be so disapproving of the Trogs, but i thought the main takeaway had been “okay, Will doesn’t always understand Nico, but he still thinks his boyfriend is supercool for what he does.” Will does end up learning they are pretty okay and shows a lot of bravery in the book.
i also feel like there’s an acceptable difference between will being personally not a fan of going underground and making friends with monsters and will thinking his boyfriend is the best🌈❤️ and so cool🤪💅🏻 for doing so. they can coexist. i personally hate doing sports but you know who i think is super great and wow? men and women who have those big biceps and go to the gym every day. marry me.
and i’m not even against him being a mean little bitch and going like “wow this place sucks🤨” (honestly apollo energy) in the Underworld, nor do i have problems with him being smart enough to be scared of Tartarus (if anything, it’s crazy that Nico is so chill) because it’s refreshing for fantasy heroes to be scared and losers, nor do i deny he’s been shown to be very anxious in ToA already.
i do however have a problem with him “not accepting Nico’s darkness” or shit because ? ? ? the idea could have worked, but i just can’t buy that they’ve been together for a year atp. how do you not know your boyfriend is part of The Horrors™️

Okay so, I think Laurence only condoned Logarius and Executioners to do Cainhurst massacre AFTER Maria's suic1de, because he knew darn well she'd cause a problem in his plan to eliminate Vilebloods (and get Umbilical Cord from Annalise). But what if!!!!!
What if Laurence COULD absolutely see Maria's suic1dal urges coming... and he LET that happen. He LET those feelings fester and bloom, he LET the doctors (Micolash maybe?????) go too hard on Adeline with experiments and cause her to give out, he LET Gehrman, the one person that could have helped to be oblivious about Maria's mental state..... pulling strings from the shadows - or not doing anything - in the ways that'd push her towards the edge, so the "problem" removes itself

Ok thanks for the ask, thanks to it I will take the occasion to finally share my headcanons about how I see their relationship across the years >:) (main headcanon, fic verse if you prefer).
So i already explain, (i think), but for me, Laurence is an extremely nuanced character. I mean by this that i don’t think he’s the ultimate devil yet but i don’t think he’s just an only poor mew mew misguided guy either, who was trap in smt out of his control. Nah for me he’s kinda a mixt/ more nuanced character who evolve a lot during his life.
So now i will share my headcanons with his relationship with Maria. Not many people talk about it and most of the takes i see are well not mine. But we don’t have much in canon so i can understand it’s tricky to imagined. But! Maria ended working at the research hall right ? (That she was in charge or under the doctors is another pb) but that mean that well there’s a connection. She joined and fight for the Healing church too! And worked with them! Hide the biggest secrets of them and Byrgenwerth! It’s not nothing! It’s s huge!
So i think at first their relationship was quite great at first! Then it spiraled down…
Let’s cut it with Byrgenwerth time, the hunter/early church era and post fishing hamlet so it’s simpler (respectively the 3fics i try to planned xD)
Byrgenwerth :
So Maria was a student here and Laurence basically one of her teachers. He’s a chill, cool and young teacher, Maria like him and think his classes are the most interesting.
Laurence had quite a harsh time on his first years studying at Byrgen so he try to be attentive to the need of his students. (He always check on Caryll, Rom etc or ask like Gehrman to check and tell him if he noticed smt weird)
Maria who don’t really have much friends at the beginning and is really often alone remind him a lot of himself at first.
But yeah funniest shit how Gehrman become close acquaintance with Maria almost the exact same way he become close acquaintance with Laurence all this years ago xD (i won’t say more about it but Laurence was quite surprised)
So anyway times pass it’s going smoothly and all the Byrgen gang hang around each other more and more (outside class too)
Maria and Caryll are still amazed that Laurence was the coolest bio and theology teacher because of what he could do when drunk xD that man was crazy (spoiler he got more serious but he become worse lol)
Also Laurence maybe accidentally save her life by giving her a free blood vial 💀(Willem don’t agree with that but he doesn’t need to know lol and hey it helped)
And later when blood was stolen from Cainhurst and Maria was completely clueless and confused he advocated for her with Gehrman. (+ advocate to cainhurst so she could stay with them + let’s be real it was first to get money to emancipate himself from Byrgen xD)

Well before Laurence became a grand Vicar with tons of responsibility they all pass times as friends ! Like this yeah xD)
He gave her a freaking chalice for her exploit in the labyrinth and a blood transfusion wow!
Also i think he converted her to religion. (Or at least their religion)
Ok Let me explain. I don’t think Cainhurst are super religious? I think they’re closer to the 2.0 pthumerians. You know before the great ones were their leaders/ gods. Then they disappear and the pthumerians crown leader of their own : aka pthumerians queens and all. I think cainhurst is similar in that sense, at first. And i need to show how Laurence managed to got so many followers !
Maria’s a pyromancer and he learnt about it at some point. Quite funny how he found out even if he was suspicious of smt xD)
Maria hate that aspect of her bc she don’t want to be like the shadow of Yharnam and use her blood to hurt and kill people because smn told her to (aka royal family) she always resent that aspect of her.
Laurence think it’s incredible, that it’s a gift from the great ones! But That she could use how she want, if she want. She could used it to protect the great ones they’re looking for instead ! It’s way closer and prefer that.
That’s a big part on why she joined the healing church.
Also Laurence is this good religious figure that people follow and look for validation and the church was the guardian of the hunters after all.

So after the hamlet… when everything went down…
Laurence became to change even more after that. Even after he became vicar maybe he got a lil messiah complex + begin to dissociate with lot of things & people but it got worst.
Especially after our lil group loose smn quite important to them… Laurence loose it and instead of « oh maybe we should stop or be more careful so it won’t happen again » he’s like : « ok we need to make sacrifice to ascend. Let’s do it » he was one of most affected by it but… in a bad way he completely dissociated and was more and more antipathetic. He was already ok with sacrificing you know sick people, who are gonna turned into a beast anyway but a friend? Oh well… he decided he won’t go back.
While Maria spiraled more and more down…he always had reassuring words but at some points and didn’t work greatly. And her, who never question the church really begin to wonder if everything worth it. What if what they’re doing is bad and useless? + she begin to cause trouble and confront Laurence about it. He was really annoyed… at some points he even ask Gehrman to do smt about it. Anything he wanted so she would chilled out and calmed down… the hunter was really confused 💀(and freaking tired too)
So Maria and Laurence relationship become more complicated.
About the Vilebloods too… first they were allies and before Maria died they ended up fighting each others. She had to stop them in front of the grand cathedral from fighting 💀 so not good either… relations were really tense… but the massacre happened 10-20y later in my timeline so
Then what happened happened… Maria killed herself and reasearch hall was a huge mess in part bc of this. (Patients revolt and a part were already dead)
Laurence was quite shock… really. And confused. But other feel sadder of course. But he was still touched by it. A bit. It remind him that they might make the sacrifce to loose close ones. But then he needed to clean all this big messes and send a letter to cainhurst That was not a good time for him either. Still he move on. Not like one of his friends… (another story)
So there. Hope i don’t forget anything but it’s a good summary for now.

I like to tease ppl if given the opportunity. Others say I’m flirty. Bold with it at that. I’m ambitious too. Kind of a big thing but I have npd (if you want to look it up without reading scientific papers, go on tumblr, bc the rest of the internet is filled with ‘demonic narcissism’ bullshit) and it influences the way I am. I care lots about my image and don’t have a ton of empathy. I don’t go kicking puppies, but it’s noticeable how I lack in this department. Sometimes people say I’m ’too nice to have it’ cause i do well with kids and do all the youth group volunteering. Also, I do some martial arts and other sports. Kinda sceptical of romance at this point cause I had lots of it and I don’t mix well with a lot of people, but maybe I could do something serious for once if I had the right person. I try to be responsible and respectful but I have no issue finding my place at a wild party or something. I'm pretty chill in general, but I can be soft-er if I want, like with children or if the few ppl I actually am close with (I've got many friend groups but I struggle to make meaningful connections) need me. Usually I just stay my highly analytical, laid back self and say my silly little comments every once in a while. Heard I’m pretty funny if I want to be. My love language is acts of service. I like small things and I do them a lot. I can do words too, but I don't care for them in return. Like, you can be an asshole (up to a limit, I know my worth) and it’s cool with me if I see you have your ways of caring like putting on a song I like in the car
Likes and dislikes: love movies like Fight Club (my fav), American Psycho and Donnie Darko; hate sharks, they freak me out; my fav book is The Catcher in the Rye; hate it when people push me to open up and be emotional; love music and unironically had a few guys play songs AT me and I actually like that too, tho I get why ppl clown on that
My type: I like people who are more negative than me and aren't afraid to shittalk everything. Just saying whatever, not caring if they offend ppl (up to a point, some issues aren’t debatable ik). Don't really care for morality (to a certain point, again) if you're charismatic and fun to be around, I’m along for the ride and happy to support whatever you get yourself into. I think I would get along with someone who had a little npd too, I like to be able to relate to my partner a bit. If they work somewhat similarly, I don't have to struggle with understanding some stuff, bc I already know how to manage an ego or grandiose behavior. As for looks. Idk, I don’t have a set type. I think maybe ppl that are bigger than me? I’m pretty athletic so it’s not hard, but I guess that’s been a pattern? Also, I do enough of leading as is so in relationships I don’t mind watching from the side and supporting whatever my partner is doing

i think he's silly and funny and sily and i like him
me and my friend talk abt how dragunov's movements are so surgical, rehearsed, precise. they have such windups but when they connect they hit fast like a gunshot (the sound design helps sm with this imagery)
ive felt this way for tk7 but i love how after grapples he usually has little tactical ways to get back up
the automatic, reflexive way he fights is so cool (and attractive?! goes without saying i feel this way), he just wants to dispose of his opponent and get on with it, he's all business..
his heat startup and new rage art animation feels that way too, the glove adjust and the growl.. he's like let's get this shit done with already !!..
his heat smash shoulder bash too phwee!! <3 he uses all his body parts in such a intentional way.. he knows where and how to hit and hits hard
pair this with how he acts outside of business, he's always lost in thought and humming and in his own world.. its emphasised especially in tk8. i still love how he was a bit more ruthless in tk5-7, but i'd like to think bc he's on vacation he's a little more chill. he still has cold intros and outros tho, i forget how chilling the camera stare is supposed to be because i just think its cool </3
i always liked gap moe in my favs so yippie!
he's insanely attractive even to nonfans for a character whose design motifs revolve around the living dead; pale skin, dark lips, half lidded milky eyes (but they shine so cutely), sharp skeletal features. despite that he looks extremely chiselled its crazy.. i forget how much of a beast he is compared to the other male characters (incredibly tall.. like a scarecrow [scaring birds...no wonder the ravens have such a tough time w him] and i think one of the heaviest characters in the game)
apart from a few (nonromantic) relationships i like to think he's very solitary, so i'm not too interested in a lot of ships w him, but i usually dont care too much abt that stuff. theres like one and thats it lol. i just like seeing him be really cool. i am crazy fond of self ships like player/character, but thats mainly self indulgent and disconnected from canon..
even tho bryan and victor are my favs i like.. am not interested in them interacting seriously with him. dragunov's like toooo cool headed to really pay attention to them. i will forever love the idea that the raven unit has such a hard time with him but he doesn't really know any of them, like when he sees them he just feels like 'oh, it's them again. back to work.' with bryan too i like to think bryan likes him as per the ttt2 implication? but then gets bored because he just dispatches people too quickly and moves on, haha. a little ankle biter. i dont think dragunov is a sadist to the extent he is.
speaking of victor, in their intro, theres a little surprised squeak when he rolls out of the way of the attack, im not sure which of the two are making that noise but if its dragu EEK its super cute.
i had such a hibernation period with sergei when tk7 started declining, the difference between tk8 and 7 is insane im happy it stoked my love for him again
ohh yea and one more thing my friends keep teasing me abt his intro in the story mode, whenever i land a grapple we always quote "and SQUEEEEEZES the life out of them"
in more silly thoughts, i think he gives great hugs. i think his core/chest is very warm but his arms and legs are cold. maybe.

Time for something new, baby! Hello villain statues! Someone ready to get scorched at some point? Grim doesn’t know them, my poor Disney heart. ACE! ACE! ACE! BUDDY I’VE BEEN WAITING TO SEE YOU! You know, Queenie looks kind of chill in the statue. Okay, funny story, when I first saw Riddle he was always talking about having peoples’ heads if they broke the rules. I hadn’t seen what his unique magic was, so I thought he was genuinely threatening to decapitate people. Grim: She’d decaptiate people? That’s messed up! Ace: Cool, right? I’m a big fan of hers! Oh my gosh, ACE! Pick better idols. Wait they think she was kind all the time? Uhhhhhh… Ah, Grim’s already calling Yuu his hench-human. Ace called Yuu’s name weird. RIP. Ace is the lorekeepr! He’s just explaining everyone, cool! “Earn it through hard work and elaborate scheme” sure Acey, let’s call it that. Hyena equality! This is why Ruggie vibes with the dude. The twisted views of these villains is so interesting! Except they were genuinely bad. History must have been massively rewritten in their favor. Yet the heroes are still considered heroes. Weird. I take it everyone just heard Ursula’s song and went “Oh yeah, she loved helping people!” Yeah, helping them help herself. Grim wants to follow in her footsteps. Grim is hungry for lore. Me too, this is so interesting! Heh, staff. First TWST joke I ever saw was someone saying how you’ll see a TWST character and you’d find out they were twisted from Jafar’s staff. I mean Epel is the poison apple, so they were not wrong. Hang on, hang on, hang on. Scalding Sands event discussed the beautiful relationship between a princess and a street rat (Jasmine and Aladdin). But Jafar is praised for exposing a guy pretending to be a prince to get closer to the princess. It’s like people split the stories in half and made sure no one made the connections! He used the lamp to become sultan, no one questioning how? Or mentioning how he went crazy with power, became a genie, got stuck in the lamp, and rocketed into the cave of wonders? Ace, we’re calling doing whatever it takes to stay the most beautiful dedication? Dedication. Do you know what she did? Homegirl’s statue is literally holding the apple she tried to murder her stepdaughter with! And she’s good at making poison you say, put the pieces together child! “I gotta respect the hustle” He’s a fan boy through and through for these 7! Okay, I will say Ace is spitting straight facts for Hades. I mean, the guy really got the short end of the stick. MALEFICENT! Yes, she’s cool, please continue Ace! The whiplash! Ace no! He really started up a conversation only to turn around and use it as an insult. Oh, that’s it? Next chapter now, I'm invested!

Oh, hello NPCs. Such boys. Yuu, of couse wind magic is a thing! I’m embarrassed to be shadowing you right now. Ooo, battle time. OH BATTLE EXPLANATION! I really should have played the main story earlier, I’ve been winging this for months! Ah, Duo Magic my beloved! 5000 too? Ace, buddy. I will end you with my cards. AHHHH, THE STATUE! THAT’S HOW THEY DID IT! ACE IS MORTIFIED! Grim: You should have let me burn you to a crisp! Ah, another Crowley jumpscare! So they burn a statue, and then when Deuce joins they party they break a chandelier. The Chaos Quartet is going to be crazy. Actually, how does Crowley catch people? Yuu’s getting blamed to, RIP. 100 WINDOWS, OH MY GOSH! Ooo, more gems!
Oh, those were timeskips! Ace is flaking. Talking Painting! I didn’t know we got to meet those! I remember Rosalia from Cater’s vignette. The painting is using Wonderland logic. Hm, I didn’t have that much to say.
Yay! New Twistune! I have all the event ones so far, but a new one for the main story excites me! Hall of Mirrors! I love how the gates look different! Grim jumpscare! I don’t know who ro root for. Fair is fair, but I think Grim is out for blood. DEUCE! DEUCEY! MY BOY! Deuce, that’s a lot of ideas you got there… can you even execute that? Maybe tackle him? Wait! WAIT! Is it caldron time? AHHHHH YES I LOVE HIS CAULDRONS! Ace, you alive buddy? Oh, they about to get exposed to Deuce. I wonder when Riddle found out they burned the Queen of Hearts statue. I mean, it’s his counterpart. He’s Juice. “Don’t you remember your own classmate?” Deuce, there’s like 26 people per class and it’s the first day, how would he? And he doesn’t remember either! Ah, the start of the most iconic TWST Duo. Move over Ramshackle Duo, Adeuce has been united. Good point, where did Grim go? Grim wanted to shirk responsibility too! Y’all are so fake! JUICE! I love that joke so much! Deuce didn’t sign up for this. “Useless janitor friend” yikes, sorry Yuu. Oh yeah, the Twistune! I forgot already! …Two rows of green notes. I’ve done blue and red notes, but two green notes? MMMM, let’s see how this goes. Oh, this music is also a bop! Juice! Oh I love it already! Oh, that did seem as bad as I thought it would be. Adeuce really be sharing that braincell! How can they be so in sync and yet not in sync at all? Gems! Oh love this game, this is a really good Prologue!

Angriest not-a-ghost tour I’ve ever seen.
Okay, I would actually enjoy this angry ghost tour probably. We do a bunch of ghost and historical walking tours. Also, this hummingbird story is legit the kind of thing people tell me when they say they saw a ghost once.
I like Rosario Dawson’s car and U-haul showing up during Ben’s angry not-a-ghost tour. Nice connection, Mouse.

After my last post, I was very grateful to be given a helping hand by some wonderful people from Te Whanganui-a-tara. Really lovely friends reached out and put me in contact with their family members in Ōtautahi, to set me up with a warm bed, a hot shower and a washing machine for a couple of nights. I am eternally grateful for the quick and effective way in which they guided me to such welcoming homes, and for the family members in question who took me in without a second thought, and treated me as one of their own. It was very nice to have some people to talk to again, and to escape the cold nights so comfortably. There's so much unconditional kindness out there if only we have the courage to ask for it, and I'm so glad I could accept it ❤️ I cuddled with Oscar the cat to my heart's desire, and they even let me tag along to their local raffle night, where I won a lil voucher :)
I also spent one afternoon in Ōtautahi hanging out with a fellow van-dweller, and we went to Uprising, a very cool and creative bouldering gym! We spent a lot of time just sitting on the mats and chatting about our respective experiences as solo travelers, which was very valuable to me.
After my recharging visits, I met up with a German woman who had responded to a facebook (I know, blehhh 🤮) post of mine saying I was looking for travel buddies. We connected over our mutual love for Dutch apple spread, and had some on bread for lunch in a parking lot before teaming up and driving out to Akaroa, a quaint little town out on Horomaka. The scenery out there was absolutely breathtaking, and reignited some of my wanderlust:
We took a quick trip the next morning to visit a pretty little waterfall, and then drove the scenic summit road back! We only stopped to take plenty of pictures, and once to wait for a stray cow to get out of the road 😅
After a short rest stop we continued on our way to the Hakatere Lakes. I'm so grateful that she shared this recommendation with me, because I wouldn't have had the slightest clue that this area was worth a visit without her. I also doubt I'd have had the guts to visit on my own, because it was quite a remote place, the way there including a lot of unpaved roads. Everybody says that one of the most stunning things about Te Waipounamu is the fact that you can drive for 20 minutes and be in a completely different landscape, and I really felt that on this drive. We went from idyllic rolling green hills to harsh, snowy, mountainous surroundings in what seemed like no time at all. We drove past a shepherd who was just gathering all his sheep for the night with his three dogs, and I genuinely clapped a hand to my mouth as we cleared the last hill in the road and caught sight of beautiful Lake Heron!
We spent a couple of minutes there to take in the view, but then quickly moved on because the chilling wind was hard to bear. A little ways down another unpaved road was a campsite right by Lake Clearwater, and we set up shop there for the night. By then the lush grass had given way to dryer, more barren ground, again making us feel like we had traveled to a whole new biome. It was already freezing before the sun had even gone down, so we both filled up our hot water bottles and crawled into bed for an early night.
The next morning we drove further up the road, and around every next curve the valley just opened up to more and more mountains, left and right, far and wide. It felt like we were leaving the land of the living and entering some sort of expansive, rugged, untamed world. We spent the morning hiking up to Mount Sunday, which was apparently a film location for Edoras, the capital of Rohan in the Lord of the Rings trilogy! I couldn't quite find the right angle to replicate the shots from the movie, but that didn't spoil the fun. I will be adding this hike to my top three, because of the 360° panorama of snowy splendour 🤩
Feeling fulfilled for completing a big hike so early in the morning, we got back behind our respective wheels and fueled up before heading to Lake Takapō:
Suddenly we were surrounded by people again, which was quite the shift from the morning we had had. We got some hot drinks to warm up, did some shopping, and decided to just keep going and head to the next lake: Pukaki!
We found a beautiful little campsite by a minor lake called Poaka, and enjoyed the sunset before once again retreating into our cars to escape the freezing cold.

1. Who are your favourite character(s) at the moment?
I definitely have had some pretty strong Harbinger brainrot over the past few weeks (Dottore, Pierro, Pantalone and Capitano especially), but as always Ayato and Zhongli hold a very special place in my heart!! Yae Miko and Tighnari also got me going a bit feral right now ngl
2. Who are your least favourite character(s) at the moment?
There are definitely a few characters who I can't stand (female pyro vision wielders---) but I feel like that's more to do with how they've been written in the game, I feel like I could be convinced to like a lot of them once I've read some good headcanons and such!

4. Which character(s) do you identify the most with?
I have pretty strong connections with a few characters throughout the series, but I vibe really hard with Xiao and Gorou (if you couldn't already guess--) and sometimes Sucrose! There's also something about Albedo that's got me like. Hm. Nods. Same hat.
5. What are your favourite headcanons you've come up with?
My appearance headcanons for Capitano are definitely right up there - if MHY disappoints/diverts a lot I think I've come up with enough original content and ideas for him to just make my version a fully fledged OC.
I'm also pretty fond of a lot of my neurodivergent headcanons for certain characters (OCD Pantalone isn't something I've seen around but it's definitely something I incorporate into a lot of my writing with him).
OH ALSO Adepti being empaths !! That's a very special headcanon I hold dear to my heart, I dunno why I came up with it but I really really like it, especially with Xiao.
6. Favourite headcanons belonging to other people?
I saw a Pyro Delusion Pantalone headcanon the other day that was really really super cool, I'd never even considered him having a delusion until I saw that and it vibed!!
Generally I enjoy any trans or ND headcanons for characters too, even if they don't line up with how I view them/characterise them it's really nice to see such a broad range of ideas for one character!

7. Do you have any self-ships (romantic or platonic)?
So many. So so many. I have a variety of 'sonas' for various AUs/timelines (though the one that I've made the most content for is. An arranged marriage AU with Ayato jkdskjhgf) and I make a lot of varying content for them (which I probably won't be sharing here because I'm shy but just know. I love them.) with all different characters and different relationship dynamics, I've been shipping myself (or versions of) with fictional characters for years and it's a huge comfort to me and such a fun fun way to experiment with writing different scenarios and such!
8. Thoughts on alternate universes (AUs)? Any favourites?
I LOVE AUs so much i have about a million myself and I adore seeing the kinds of things others come up with !! A lot of my writing tends to be done in a non-canon AU where the events of the game havent/don't happen just to keep things simpler hfkjhsdgk
I'm always an enjoyer of modern AUs, but at the moment i'm holding a particular fondness for the 'Fatui adopt Kaeya AU', which lowkey may have slightly inspired the last fic i started working on ehe
9. If you were from Teyvat, where would you live?
Mondstadt!! It just seems chill and nice and there's such a wide variety of people there, the vibe seems accepting and laid back and it seems like lots of people from different walks of life congregate there! Failing that maybe Sumeru just because mmm pretty
10. What kind of Vision would you have?
Anemo, probably! That's the one i most commonly write my sonas with! Though I don't think I'd be entirely opposed to a Dendro vision in some cases too!!
11. What weapon type would you use?
Hmm I guess maybe catalyst? (something something not another god damn anemo catalyst short model boy)
12. Favourite fandom tropes/goofs?
One i always find funny is like. siblings with big age gaps getting along great (Albedo/Klee, Ayato/Ayaka, Jean/Barbara, etc) but ones closer in age constantly trying to MURDER each other (Diluc/Kaeya, and Aether/Lumine r the only ones i can think of rn).
I also love the found family tropes I see around, and the Nahida and Scara content I've seen recently have been top notch!
13. Least favourite fandom tropes/goofs?
It's a common thing with a lot of games and characters where the fandom reduces them down to a core trait or two and act like it's completely canon, or take certain lines and such out of context and base their entire characterisation off of that - on a surface level theyre silly and fun but when it's literally everywhere
A few i can think of off the top of my head are like 'senior citizen zhongli' where he's reduced to nothing but a bumbling old boomer and the whole 'stalker/obsessive ayaka' bit.
14. If you could change anything about one characters design, who/what would it be and why?
I think some of the adepti should have more non-human traits (xiao deserves horns tbh) and as a general statement i'd love to see characters with facial/body hair and more variety in body types or at least skin tones! I understand it's not exactly like realistic but it would be nice
there was also an interesting detail with Zhongli's design that was fixed - he wore his vision backwards! I think it was super neat and an interesting reference to the fact that it's not a real vision, but sadly they fixed it :(
15. What's your favourite voice line from the game?
I know a lot of people joke about Zhongli's idle lines being really annoying (and while hearing the oSmAnThUs WiNe line 8 times in just as many minutes can get really irritating) but i find them kind of comforting - I play in English and really enjoy the cadence of his voice, it's super comforting to me, so most of his lines are big faves - I also find his 'disliked gift' line super funny where he tries to redirect the player by telling them stories ashkjgf
I also like how Kaeya teases you for standing around (though it kinda makes me wanna flick him), and Tighnari's "who ate a poisoned mushroom this time?" join line is fun!

I liked all of these dudes who were ridiculously competent while everyone else was being fucking ridiculous! Johan probably doesn't fall into that category but, boy character with blue hair voiced by a woman is like instant arrow to the heel for me. I love how instantly he connected with Judai, I think that was really positive for Judai as a person and as a character, if I can be permitted to speak about him from both an in-universe and a watching a TV show perspective. Hahaha. I love his ruffles, I love all his damn rainbows. He's sweet and tries real hard, I like him very much. I like him and Judai as a thing A Lot. Judai gets like an honorary fave spot when attached to Johan (and Yubel, that's in there too).
The number of times that everyone else was standing around like I don't know what are we going to do now and O'Brien was just like "we're going to do this, except by we I mean me, and by going to I mean it's already done, let's go" are just like 💚. Sir, thank you for being the only person with a functional brain on screen at any given point in time. Other people like I don't know how we're going to handle this this man is being dangled over a death trap and O'Brien is just like maybe we can stop playing card games and fix the problem. O'Brien single-handedly saved anime this is a real fact. I think you are in the middle of watching him get really cool character development! He is criminally underrated. I think we all know why... I love him I think he's great - he is so fun to draw and just Real Good.
Jim just like, hey I've got a conspicuous eyepatch and also a crocodile. I've named her Karen. He says things in the most outrageous English I've ever heard and it is like absolutely unreproducible by anybody else. Like many of the characters in the show I absolutely do not believe that he is the age that they say he is but he's so good.
Kenzan is just like such a genuine dude??? His backstory is so fucking ridiculous? Most of him is ridiculous? But in a way that kind of makes him endearing? He's so often ends up in situations where he is the guy doing the competent normal reaction stuff and it's like how is the dude with a fossilized Triceratops bone in his leg like the person with the most normal reaction? Also good to draw, love his hair also. I loved the way they translated his weird dinosaur speech pattern in the subtitles. He just looks like he should be a much more serious dude than he is but he's kind of chill and fun. What a nice guy.
MANJOUME, what a fucking dumpster fire of a person I love him. I did not like him at all until they decided to send him to the Arctic. Then they drag them through the trash and rode him around in the dirt and he came back as like just the right kind of bitchy drama queen for me. One of the duels that I was not bored to Tears by in the show was him using an entire Deck full of garbage stuff with zero attack points I thought that figuring out a good way to use that was so much more interesting than the usual Yu-Gi-Oh approach of I just summon a bigger stronger thing than you did. I love him literally embracing being garbage. I love that there's like a weird insecurity thing going on underneath all of that. I love that he adopted all the garbage monsters. I love that he's just a wreck of a human being, wow, so good. Love that all it took for me to love this guy was for someone to kick him off the pedestal and like stomp him into the dirt for a minute. Manjoume Thunder is what is UP.

True but thats like. Part of the charm almost. All the issues. Yeah thankfully the days are lengthening again & the terrible holiday season has finally passed, which made me. So tired. Hence my response delay. Yeah they should chill but im glad that the last bit was. Easy for you? I was around my family for like. A day. & it was exhausting i can only imagine what a week takes out of you. I wish more americans were like that some guy tried to talk to me a bit at the theater yesterday when i went to see godzilla minus one & it was exhausting. Also funny story everyone at my work was so exhausted last week i said something in spanish to my co worker from el salvador & he completely did not understand because of exhaustion. Oh that pretty cool. I had to learn so that i wasn't like. Having sandwiches & ramen all the time & now im trying to find time to make my own bread so like. Slippery slope. But yeah knowing a few recipes is always a good idea. Thats always the best, having friends who are chill with quiet. Does anyone have a good school? I will believe in the process because star rail is also giving me that pain with argenti's story quest & ruan mei's swarm thing. Ah okay so antimatter legion but less controlled in a way. it really is ADHFGLSKFKG. and god yeah FINALLY. also happy new year!!!!!! very late but still!!!!!! this was my first week back in school after the holidays [well. actually it was Two Days] but im already tired. aooougugh. but oh well! GOD. my family In General is like. Fine. i really dont mind them. but i have to stay with my grandma who is just impossible to coexist with...... luckily my mom allowed me to mostly just hang out in our room and not interact with her that much since she shares my opinion. and augh that sounds. ETYMOLOGY IS SUPER FUN YEAH...... and for real. if manaria has 1000 fans i am one of them if manaria has 1 fan its me against the world if manaria has no fans i am dead. noita IS fun but i should warn you youre not gonna get anywhere without external guidance. i mean. Casey and Troy
So Troy and Casey is a definite no! At one point early on in forming my hcs I was going to have them be cousins, and while I have yet to give a definitive answer on whether they are or not, I've been shifting back in the direction that are, but that unlike my original hc, neither of them remotely know that in my main-universe. In fact, you know what? They are and I'm going to do a post on that later because I have more to say on it. 😁
However, speaking from a potential situation where they're not related... it's still not something I can see.
So just off the bat I don't ship Casey with anyone during SR1 because she's only 15 at the start(slight exception being in universes where she has Zoo as her co-boss and/or friend as they are the same age, so I shall allow them their little moments). The next youngest Saint is Dex who I hc as 21 and gay so... yeah, no. But I do have the thing of Casey having one-sided crushes on Johnny, Lin and Dex.
Why not Troy? He just wasn't someone she saw as "cool" like she saw the others, in fact he was quite protective and responsible with regards to her and this is why I see their connection as more familial and duty-based (because I believe regardless of Troy leaning towards the Saints overall he's had a keen sense of protecting civilians drummed into him since childhood) even if they aren't related by blood. When she starts to succeed in life, he feels pretty proud of her.
Additionally, while I see that Troy is a complicated and probably conflicted character, Casey takes a long time to get out of the mindset that he betrayed her. It's one of those things where she knows it's not entirely black and white but she can't quite shake the grudge she felt when she woke up from the coma and found out.
There is the brief and admittedly kind of silly thing about Troy having a wife who resembles Casey(referencing ONE mission and something I thought of bc of posts so far back I will NOT be able to find them but you know). I don't believe that's because Troy has some secret attraction to Casey, I think it's something he just doesn't really see because he doesn't want to. He sees them too differently.
So there just isn't a place and time for them, you know? But even if things were to align, I just don't think they're attracted to each other, sexually or romantically, so I can't really envision a ship dynamic for them.
Casey and Viola
This one is interesting. I think Viola is incredibly grateful Casey allowed her to join the Saints, but her overall opinion of her is Boss first, friend second, and Casey reacts accordingly, so they're not super close friends. I can see some physical attraction between the two, more Casey towards Viola than vice versa(partly bc of Viola's thing for Shaundi, but also just in general). I don't think they ever hooked up but like they easily could have given the right situation.
Romantically, on the other hand, I can't see it at all. Viola and Casey are both, to me, "cool" characters emotionally. While they aren't unpleasant people I think both of them have a certain standoffishness, though Viola's would appear as more "professional/detached" and Casey's as "chill/unphased".
I think they both have a great deal of capacity for love. But I think they both need an emotionally warm character to unlock that. I think Shaundi for example is emotionally warm even if some of the barriers she puts up from SR3 onwards make it hard to see, which is why time and place dependant, she works as a ship for them both. For the record, they could potentially work as a triad. Maybe. But I also feel like there's also something about the Shaunvi vibe that Casey would just throw off completely. Maybe because she's almost the mediator between them so she might balance out what's passionate and interesting about them.
This is going a little off topic but I've actually wanted to talk about this aspect of Casey for a while because when you look at their first impressions you wouldn't get that she is the cold one and Matt is the warm one. Matt doesn't immediately come across as "warm" at all but I would chalk that up to fear and anxiety. In SR4 we get to see him acting a lot more openly emotional as well as passionate about things he cares about, because he's found a group of people he actually feels comfortable enough around to be himself. Leaning more towards headcanons (although maybe not so much when you see his rejected advances towards Asha in-game) I have him as quite physically affectionate/touchy feely. It's a combination of sensory seeking and not always being able to put his affection for people into words.
I don't allude to it here as much but in my writing I make frequent mention of it. Casey talks about how she's always cold and Matt is really warm as a justification for being physically close with him. I constantly have Casey tell Matt to relax/breathe when he's panicking and talk about how he finds her cool touch calming. That sort of thing. If you want to go one further there's the fact that Casey smells warm (cinnamon) but feels cold when you get closer, and Matt smells cold (lemon) but when you get closer he's physically warm.
But getting back to my actual point- Matt and Casey take a long time to get together because he's like a very persistant hairdryer melting a block of ice. But it works eventually. With Viola, Shaundi is more like a decent heat source which melts the ice very easily once her own barrier (in my hc, finding out in 2016 that Johnny isn't actually dead) is lifted. Viola and Casey on the other hand are just... two blocks of ice. It's a nice thought but it's just not going anywhere.
