"he was trying to protect the multiverse" "he lost his daughter thats why hes aggressive" yeah, i know, i get it. but its not an excuse to assault 15 year olds who did nothing wrong. trauma isnt an excuse to be a horrible person.

8-15//2024
The rain dropped some more on the road. The eyes of the driver ran with the drops that hit the windshield and kept in track with the wipers pushing the water off. The darkness of the sky gave no intention of being anything but what it was; the driver felt otherwise that this day was going to be a day like no other.
And the driver was right. Their part in the narrative that comes after this point ends. It is much likely that after the driver finishes with this passenger that they will go on to other things. The narrative does not feature their presence anymore; they are fee to explore other potentionals in other stories. No one said that they were trapped in the narrative.
But the story does not end for the passenger. Not here at least; there is one more interaction that will occur---and there it is. A call from the main character of this story. They will be the featured person of this narrative. Of course they do not know it yet; the mundane of every day must still be the expectation used for survival.
Enough of this. Let’s meet our character.
Oh and the driver and the passenger? They’re dead.

“Hello?”
The cut off silence told her that the plan was successful. She pressed the END button on the phone and looked at the black screen. She pursed her lips together and thought about what to prepare for the eventual integration. Maybe coffee.
