Homebrew Mechanic: Stress, Panic, & Affliction

Whether it’s a full campaign or a simple spooky oneoff adventure, eventually every DM is going to want to run some kind of horror scenario, at which point they’ll discover that there’s a lot more to delivering scares than just using assorted Halloween iconography. I’ve written before about creating an atmosphere of dread among your players using framing and narration, but I felt it was overdue to follow it up with a mechanical counterpart.

SAYING a monster/scenario is scary is all well and good, but if we turn fear into an actual gameplay system then we can use it to build out encounters and make our job as DMs easier. I also ended up making this system because I’ve read or adapted one too many modules involving “eldritch madness” that didn’t really understand how horror worked: adventuring is a tough business, and people getting overwhelmed with stress and panicking or lashing out is a way more grounded and useful expression of that than becoming mindless cultists because they saw a weird wet bug. Now for the system itself:

When a character is exposed to horrific, frightening, or unsettling circumstance, the DM may ask them to make a saving throw to avoid suffering a point of stress, represented by a dot or check penciled in near their proficiency marker. This can be anything from a con save to keep a strong stomach while rooting through the backrooms of a butcher shop, a wis save to reassure yourself that it really was just the wind making all that creepy noise in the abandoned manor, or a cha save to ward off the psychic interference of a aberrant mind-weapon. The DM may also rule that certain events automatically inflict stress, like seeing a trusted ally killed or getting swallowed by an eldritch horror.

A character can withstand a number of points of stress equal to their proficiency bonus. After which they’re considered to be at a “breaking point”. If any more stress is inflicted upon the character after that point the DM decides whether the character clears an amount of stress equal to their proficiency bonus and panics (the most likely option, gaining the frightened condition for 1d4, save ends) or gains an affliction comparable to the source of the stress (roll on the madness table, though find some better ones than the default DMG ones). The DM may also decide to have the stress compound, gaining an additional point but not having anything trigger, so that the tension breaks at the appropriate time.

Characters lose a point of stress by spending a full day resting in a haven (a safe place such as a town or a comfortable hidden hideaway) , though the DM may also rule that characters commiserating during a long rest (oh look at that, a reward for roleplaying) may lose a point of stress.

Using stress as a mechanic like this gives us something else to build encounters around other than just damage. We can have traps or one off random encounters during exploration that only serve to unnerve a few of our partymembers, softening them up to fall into panic when they encounter something actually scary. Imagine running a full haunted house dungeon where most of the encounters in the first half didn’t actually involve monsters, instead slowly building in tension as the party discovers the horrific truth of the ghost’s tragic past in hopes of putting it to rest.

We're also more likely to be a writer than an artist, but far fewer of us are writing meta. All in all, this looks like a pretty good spread!

Joining the fandom

The most popular time to start watching the dsmp was between New L'Manberg and the Disc War Finale, but honestly, it's split into fairly even quarters between the main "seasons" the server was active. To those who joined after the finale streams, hi! I hope you're enjoying your stay!

Thoughts on the finale streams

I'm actually a little blown away that no one rated the finale streams a 1. Not a single person. There's nothing more I can say other than this response is overwhelmingly positive.

Is the fandom dying?

It looks like the answer is no! 82.9% of us are still moderately interested in the dsmp or more, and for almost a third of us, it's consuming every part of our brain. I don't know about you, but for me, this is actually something I really needed to see.

Hi! I'm a bit new to this blog, but I spent last night (and a bit of the mourning) scrolling through it all and I think both of you are lovely! As sort of a reverse welcoming gift, I have a bone chew toy for DogDay! And with all these blogs that you have to read I would say that's some good ol exercise time would be good soooo...FETCH!

(Waits a couple of seconds) Okay CatNap, I need to make this quick. I agree with you that we shouldn't inform DogDay on how... Puppies are made. I in fact think it is crucial for YOU to do so! You've already seen how bad it can get with us and I KNOW how these people operate. They won't stop until he knows. So I leave you with two options, let a bunch of random strangers on the internet explain it to him potentially traumatizing him, or let his own HUSBAND explain the concept to him in a way that he can properly understand and in a way where he won't fear it in the future. Even if you don't care to do "it", that's not why it's important! It's important because it's dangerous for DogDay to not be informed on this especially when there are so many people that know he doesn't know and want to fill in the gaps of YOU teaching him. (Potentially filling in those gaps with misinformation). Don't get me wrong, I appreciate how wholesome both of you are and I was sincere when I said both of you seem like lovely individuals, HOWEVER I am worried about DogDay safety.

in my own world with his 12th house and his moon sign he can actually be on the quieter side. he may not speak his mind too much unless he's asked about what he thinks about things. he has a very curious mind so there's probably a lot going on up there lol

romance isn't really my forte despite his cancer moon being sort of a homey/mushy type that is really affectionate and caring, his aquarius venus is more on the logical/analytical/scientific side as opposed to romantic. so he won't really do the whole 'hearts, flowers, romantic strolls' that much

i get bored easily so do try to keep things interesting he may be prone to cheating (aquarius venus) this is when the relationship gets dull and predictable. when the spiciness has simmered down

closed off to the world...even you... he may retreat into his thoughts and isolate himself even from his partner. he has many thoughts and emotions going through him all at once. with his 12th house moon he could even be able to pick up on other people's emotions extremely well which affects him

glitching up may have a tendency to send mixed signals/messages because his own feelings may not be his own (see above)

we all come with our own hang ups his venus in the 8th house alongside his moon "may" create some problems of emotional baggage and resentment

Alright. Let's get back to fun and horny stuff. What are your headcanons for Leon's kinks and sexual preferences? Do OG Leon and Remake Leon have similar tastes? Does Leon prefer certain things with women and certain things with men? Let me have it!

THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT, ANON 👀 we have been suffering from a lack of thirst over here, and I've been dying to talk about this/slut this man up lately.

I think that Remake Leon and OG Leon are more or less into the same things, but with differing levels of enthusiasm for them.

● OG Leon has control issues and usually can't get off unless he's on top -- but when he's actually with someone that he trusts enough to take that control away (and the number of people he trusts to do that can be counted on one hand), while he can be a brat sometimes, he's usually very obedient. He knows how rare this is for him and understands the concept of gratitude, so he gets very vocal and is known to dispense with the "Yes sir/ma'am"s and even says "please."

● OG Leon is far more of an exhibitionist. Remake Leon will still put on a show if he's asked to, but OG Leon doesn't always need to be asked -- and OG Leon is also far more willing to take risks in terms of doing it in public/getting caught. OG Leon is the kind of guy who will fuck you in your mom's house while your parents are watching TV in literally the next room over. Especially later in life, he becomes that guy who will gladly fuck you in the bathroom stall at a nightclub. Not to say that Remake Leon wouldn't -- just that OG Leon does it for sport.

● Remake Leon has far more of a praise kink. OG Leon definitely appreciates a compliment, but he doesn't necessarily want/need to be told he's doing a good job -- all of the other sounds that his partner is making are affirmation enough. But Remake Leon just loves to hear the words "Good boy" ; "That feels so good" ; "Right there/Just like that" ; "Please don't stop" ; "I love it."

● Leon in general is a very gracious receiver. He's very vocal when getting head -- generous with quiet hums and sighs and grateful little moans. He'll whisper sweet little nothing words of praise and encouragement while running his fingers through his partner's hair. On the rare occasion that he does make the move to fuck someone's face, he's very slow and gentle and holds eye contact the entire time -- not just to assert his dominance, but also to keep a constant gauge on his partner's comfort levels.

● On the whole, though, Leon prefers to give rather than to receive. There are few things in this world that he enjoys more than going down on someone, and he'll keep going until he brings his partner to orgasm or he's told explicitly to stop.

● While we're on the subject, Leon definitely eats ass. Don't try to tell me he doesn't. Everybody shut up.

● Both versions of Leon enjoy being called "Daddy" but OG Leon leans into it way more -- which is interesting because Remake Leon gets off on it way harder. OG Leon has kind of just come to terms with the fact that that's the niche that he fills for a lot of women especially -- and especially as he gets older -- and he is into it, so he's more than willing to roleplay out whatever depraved shit is asked of him. (And once he hits his late 30s/early 40s, he definitely becomes that guy who wants nothing more than a little princess he can spoil~) But there's some part of Remake Leon that feels some sort of weird sense of shame in that -- so he'll never be the one to instigate it, but dear god does it make him hard. So when he does get to do it, he really gets into it -- and you had no idea that this man was secretly an actor. Don't make him take off his belt. Or, do. Whatever. His safe word is "Umbrella"

● OG Leon is far more willing to talk dirty (see here for reference), and he's way more into things like phone sex as a result. But, of course, he's Leon, so like. He actually will ask "What are you wearing?" as though that question doesn't make people want to reach through the phone and punch him in the throat. (What, you didn't think all of these headcanons were going to make him look good, did you?)

● Remake Leon suffers way more from being touch-starved, so he's far more likely/willing to just sit there or lie there and make out with someone for a good, long while without really doing anything else. He also has a lot more patience, so he'll more often take things slow if he can get away with it. The more time that he can spend hands-on exploring his partner's body and having his own explored in return, the better. Remake Leon is the kind of guy who will hold someone from behind and slowly kiss a line all the way down the side of their neck and along the span of their shoulder before switching sides, all the while keeping his hands on their hips and going nowhere else. OG Leon would 100% already have his hands in someone's shirt or up their skirt, though, too.

● Both versions of Leon have a breeding kink, and both versions are embarrassed as fuck about it. For as shameless as OG Leon is, this is like his big dirty secret. He keeps that shit to himself and only tells people who he not only trusts with his life but who also give him some sort of feeling that they might also be into it. He can count on one hand the number of times he's had sex with a woman without a condom (because that's the number of times he was with someone who he actually trusted to be honest about her birth control), but nothing makes him come harder. The reason why he's so secretive/embarrassed about it is because it's one of the few things he's actually self-aware about in the sense that he knows, on some level, that this is a weird manifestation of his trauma with regards to having his life ruined and his autonomy stolen (especially his bodily autonomy). He knows that he'll never get a chance to be a normal guy with a normal life who settles down and gets married and starts a family, so his brain is just kind of going "I just wanna knock someone up, man. The hottest thing a woman can be is the mother of my child."

● When things get rough, Remake Leon is willing to go way harder on it than OG Leon. Basically, I think of Remake Leon as more comfortable going to extremes (either extremely soft/slow/sensual or extremely hard/rough/fast), whereas OG Leon tries to stay in a comfortable middle ground. Remake Leon will actually raise his voice and bark orders at someone and restrain them by the wrists and pin them down hard against the floor/wall/mattress. Not to say that OG Leon won't if he's asked to -- but that Remake Leon is eager to, and he commits to it way harder.

● Deep down, Leon just wants someone to take care of him. I've listed a lot of headcanons about him being on top/in control/dominant, but that's just because that's what he defaults to because that's what he's comfortable with because of how fucked his life is and how he views his place in the world and his role in other people's lives. But the truth is, he spends a lot of time longing to be with someone who can strip him down to the rawest, most vulnerable parts of who he is, look him in the eyes, kiss him softly, and say, "I've got you."

with Emmeryn being written after the canon events of Awakening, the likelihood of spoilers appearing in her posts is highly possible, as she specifically comes from her respective paralogue after a critical canon event which shapes her current interpretation. of course, I will tag all of the appropriate posts accordingly. the official tag for any spoilers will be #awakening spoilers to avoid them.

unlike my other two muses, Emmeryn lives in the town of the monastery as a kind, yet quiet neighbor to those who reside there. upon having her housing papers admitted without struggle, she decided to rent out an empty building and use the treasury she'd been given to fund an organization for royals and nobles of any age to get advice and assistance with their etiquette and handling civil affairs, which she remembers easily.

after the events of Awakening, and known to those who saved her in her paralogue, Emmeryn suffers from a multitude of injuries that have changed her as a person. there are physical conditions, like her limp, unconscious twitching / trembling, and rapid blinking. and there are non-physical conditions, like her amnesia, hindered speech, and periodic headaches. I will not allow any heavy IC or OOC jokes about any of these unless spoken of beforehand. the way I treat Emmeryn is very careful and I'd become uncomfortable if her conditions were made fun of. in a softer note, there are a few social norms she does not remember and will need to be reminded of in certain situations.

similar to the above bullet, Emmeryn does speak slowly, in half sentences, pronounces certain letters and words wrong, and pauses a lot to formulate her thoughts. this will not change for a long, long time, as in the years after her paralogue, she hasn't recovered much from the incident. if your muse will belittle or mock her for her verbal inconsistencies, tell me beforehand so I can consider whether they should interact or not. just long enough for me to become fully comfortable with her narrative voice as a muse.

unless your muse has known her before her arrival or is currently enrolled under her organization, then they do not know that Emmeryn was the former Exalt of Ylisse, as this is not something she shares for the hope of starting over completely with strangers outside of her profession. on the note of her organization, let me know if your muse would approach her for it! you have to be a noble for the political classes but anyone can take her etiquette courses.

additionally, a frequent NPC that you will hear mentioned or referenced in her interactions is Langston, who is the caretaker that was deployed to Regna Ferox to tend to her. he is important to her reasoning for being here but will not be able to speak with your muse unless the thread or interaction calls for it and we have discussed it prior. yes he is pretty and twenty-seven and shy and blonde-adjacent and I have a crush on him, next question

BEST EXPERIENCE : honestly like... as much as i sometimes still get embarrassed trying to explain [scare chord] Tumblr Roleplay to people outside of this particular circle, it's been such a large part of my enjoyment online for years and years. i've met some really close friends here, i've done some of my best writing here. and a lot of it is just the ability to bounce off my friends and their huge brain ideas. collaborative writing, to me, is just so much more fun than doing it alone. i really like taking one character and getting just way too deep into who they are, i like learning and picking things up from the variety of other writers on here. improving my writing from reading what my super talented friends do... and in particular this last year has been probably??? one of my most positive rpc experiences in a long while. having people jump into the tcsm rpc, making new friends, and putting together just completely off the shits wild aus and whatever. idk! my creative brain loves to go stupid mode in the paint. and besties we have written some good fucking horror narrative on this stupid website.

RP PET PEEVES / DEALBREAKERS : i'm kind of just chilling like i really am very much non-confrontational in this space because it's... for fun. it's just imaginary internet collaborative writing hobby. mainly i just don't need passive aggression of any kind. i believe that you kind of get back what you put in on this kind of space, so make it comfortable for yourself, be kind to others, and understanding as often as you can be. if people aren't hurting anyone, let them vibe in their own space. not everyone has endless time anymore for rp, so don't make it weird or take it personally when people take time to get back to you about plots, or if they never get time. soft and hardblock as you need to to make your space chill for You it's just never that deep

MUSE PREFERENCES FLUFF, ANGST OR SMUT : we like a bit of everything in this house (except anything remotely usfw goes to usfw shadow realm blog). like be serious i am always in the horror rpc for the angst and suffering and exploration of trauma but that needs to be balanced out by fluff and gentle vibes. PLOTS OR MEMES : i like both! i think it's easiest to get things rolling with just whatever memes thrown my way and vice versa. i love plotting stuff out, but sometimes that takes a bit of existing in each others rpc space for a while. so i can be sort of slow w building dynamics, but i do like to!

LONG OR SHORT REPLIES : i don't mind either, it's kind of refreshing to switch between the two, more rapid fire stuff is nice esp to start with, though i am known to be insane in the reply lengths for some prompts once stuff is plotted out.

Wheeze. Oh goodness the amount of emotional whiplash purgatory is giving me. This is rough. Having a great time, but also really really being put through the wringer.

Like. Sauron wannabe introducing the event, pushing the teams into further pvp conflict (and supposedly giving non pvp players a chance to contribute/shine but I have some fears on that front...) and.

It's eggs.

Instant fear. Spiraling down the rabbit hole. What do you mean eggs. What do you mean TEMPORARY eggs.

Are these mobs? Ai? A1 experiment eggs? OUR eggs? What do you mean temporary--as in, our custody of them is temporary or their existence itself is temporary.

You put us here just to suffer. You're enjoying our suffering, saying we deserve it. You judge us for our sins. But where is the moral highground you're supposedly speaking from? It doesn't seem like you have one. So why wouldn't we believe you are capable of putting the real deal in here, letting sentient innocents quail under the elements, the weight of our madness and desperation.

We can't hardly keep ourselves safe, and we're already fighting and destroying ourselves for the sake of beloved innocents. We didn't NEED more motivation. This is BRUTAL. You're just increasing the fallout as everyone has the potential to fall farther still.

And. I understand it's an incredibly practical set of goals. Protect egg. Build house. Guard bed. Straightforward, obvious, necessary. But immediately I'm thrown back into the early days of egg quests. We're just speedrunning baby's first memories. How badly are we going to get attached just through the power of conditioning.

I'm on reds pov at the moment, so they're off doing their things, trying to stay focused and somewhat stable and not spiral. Then global chat announces qnpc logged on.

Baghera starts wailing.

"It's not her, they wouldn't do that, it can't be her." Npc accounts could be there for all sorts of reasons. Just because we recognize the number and have been oh so freshly reminded of the eggs...

"Really...? You think so?" Oh Baghera sounds so sad and everyone else desperate and panicky. Gotta love roleplay team. Any excuse to 'yes and'. I'm feeling myself start to settle a bit. Ok so we're getting a chance to process that revelation and rebalance. Awesome!

"Yes, do you think Quackity would pay for another account? It's just being reused."

wheeze. I can hear 'quackity pagar el servidor' echo. It's the anime gag of the crow flying across the sky cawing 'baka'. Oh my god that line is just so perfect.

So, in an ideal world. We would see Daniel rail Louis from behind, while Armand instructs and watches from his cuck chair. Full on Eric's ass out.

Or, imagining if Armand is evil enough to get Daniel hooked on vampire blood/getting fed on again. Then, a kind of "choose your own torture" scenario would be lovely. "Either do X and get my blood, or do Y and get fed on, or be an insolent bitch and suffer while watching me do it to someone else."

But, alas, this won't happen.

So what I would wish for in terms of psychosexual torture, beyond the sexiness, the roleplay, and feeding scene we have already seen, would be a sort of natural escalation.

Armand now seems to be head of house/daddy dom rn, and of course Daniel will be an asshole of a brat, at least at first. So, to control his boy, Armand might give him glimpses.

Maybe glimpses of himself as a younger man, vulnerable and submissive to Armand.

Giving Daniel sadistic visions of some kind when Daniel is being rude (multiple ideas arise).

Kissing/Making out with Louis in front of Daniel's Salad, or feeding on a third, while looking at Daniel, getting into his head, talking to him.

Making Daniel feel trapped like a lab rat; maybe by watching him sleep, controlling his dreams, forbidding him from leaving the penthouse, maybe even trapping him in a room.

(Look, I am not a writer, so it is hard to come up with specifics, and I don't necessary expect any of this to happen.)

The thing I do really hope to happen is:

it is implied that Louis had sex with Daniel when the first interview happened, and that Louis would still be down

some sort of strong implication of Armands romantic feelings towards Daniel by way of paralleling a flashback with present day Dubai

my dream would come true if they would argue because Daniel is mouthing off as usual without regard for his safety and he pushes Armands button so that he gets thrown around and pinned against a wall and threatened really sexily while there is tension and they could kiss or Armand could kill Daniel but he won't you know the typical cliché looking at his lips thing... ("I should kill you." "Then why don't you?") you know what I mean

Let me say this much: If Eric doesn't get properly smooched by season 3, I will be VERY disappionted.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE !!!!!

[ Time for a New Year’s post! This year --- WOW! It was packed with action for me. As someone who has lived a very monotone life it was very exciting! I moved into a house together with my s/o, and we have established a wonderful life together. Writing-wise, I had a real break-through. In 2021 there was definitely something off about my writing, but I feel like I left that behind and moved forward in 2022. I also expanded my writing horizon by beginning to write longer (personal) projects, which I enjoyed a lot! Wordcount wise, I wrote a tiny bit more in 2022 compared to 2021, but unfortunately I wrote less on Nnoitra. However! It’s not because I’ve felt uninspired. Quite the opposite! I’ve felt MORE inspired this year, and that’s been the best feeling! I’ve simply been too busy to write as much as I’ve wanted to. Settling into a new life takes time, but I feel like I’ve done that now.

AND THIS MAKES ME REALLY EXCITED FOR 2023!! Now that I have wonderful living conditions with my s/o, and I finally get to be independent (I lived with my parents up until this year) - I am ready to take a big step towards becoming a professional writer. Which brings me to -

PLANS AND GOALS FOR 2023!

Consistency is going to be a big goal for me this year. It’s going to be my focus. I’ve noticed that I simply write more and at a better quality when I write consistently. Whenever I take breaks ( which I’ve been forced a lot into in 2022 because I’ve been busy! ) my writing gets weird and it takes a bit for me to get “back into the groove”. So this year, like I did in 2020, I’m going to be writing on here every day. Regardless of how busy I am, or what’s happening, I’m going to make one IC post. It doesn’t have to be a big thing, but it’s going to be a tiny bit of writing. So that I don’t get out of the groove. Writing on Nnoitra is SO important for my creative flow. I need him. Every day. More stuff that I wanna do in 2023 =

WRITE MY BOOK! I’m not going to “try” to do it. I’m going to do it. It is a short novel, so it’s going to be about 60 000 words. The first draft is going to be finished by March 1st Second draft will be finished 31th March. Third draft will be finished 30th. The final mock-print will be printed by 24th of May. That’s my mother’s birthday and my goal is to be able to present her the book on her birthday. Then once she has read it and given me pointers, I will write another draft - which I will take to a publisher I know from when he was my writing-teacher ( he always said that once I finished a book I should take it straight to him bc he wants to help me get published ). I’m excited!

CONSISTENT POSTING! I’m going to be writing daily on Nnoitra, but my other blogs are also going to have more consistent activity. I’m going to make sure that they all get some activity every month. The past year there are several months where I’ve not posted anything on my other blogs ( especially my one piece blogs as well as Muramasa has suffered ). This year I’ll write at least a little bit on all of them every month. It’s good for my creative flow to have the ability to write multiple different voices.

FINISH A LONGER PERSONAL PROJECT! I’m currently writing a story about my Star Wars OC, as well as a story about my Hogwarts OCs. I’d love to finish one of these ( most likely my Star Wars story ). This isn’t something that’s going to be published, but I would really like to print the story in book-form. Holding one of my stories in my hand would be... Amazing. Not to mention I’m absolutely in love with the story and how it’s turning out. This is by no means going to take priority, but I’d love to keep working on it and finish it sometime during the year.

WRITE FANFICTION! I used to write a lot of fanfiction when I first started writing way back in the days, and honestly? I really miss it. I loved getting feedback and have people actually read my stories. It gives a different feeling compared to roleplaying, which is more interactive. I’d love to be able to work on “shorter” fanfictions, instead of huge ones which I’m currently writing ( I have been writing a Merlin fanfiction since 2018 and it’s still not done ). I’d love to write for many different fandoms, and get inspired by the feedback.

WRITE SPECIFIC SHIPS! This is related to my other blogs, as well as fanfiction. I’d really like to write Muramasa/Byakuya, Mayuri/Urahara and Shinji/Aizen this year, either on my blogs or simply write fanfiction for these ships.

MASSIVE WORD-COUNT GOALS! The time for being satisfied with 20 000 monthly words is over! I used to write more close to 50 000 words. This means I should be able to write more close to 600 000 words in a year, in contrast I only wrote just below 300 000 in 2022. My word-count goal for 2023 IS GOING TO BE 500 000.

TALK/CHAT MORE WITH MY FRIENDS AND MUTUALS! Being social is one of the things I’ve struggled with in 2022, and I know it’s not good for me when I don’t talk to people, so I’m going to chat more with you guys! I miss talking to you!

Now for some goals that are only related to Nnoitra and this blog!

DAILY POSTING! As mentioned, I’ll go back to writing every day for him. This doesn’t include one-liners, but actual in character content.

REBLOG MORE ART! I’ll get better at reblogging my friends’ artwork because I want to support them.

CREATE MORE AUS! I already have a ton - but I want more. You guys can look forward to: haikyuu!au, footballer!au, band!au, shinigami!au.

PLOTTING AND MORE INTERACTIONS! Yes, I absolutely need and want more interactions! Both with my current partners and new ones. I want to plot more pre-established relationships ( specifically in AUs as well as main verse ).

COMMISSIONING NNOITRA ART! I need more artwork of him, so I’m going to do at least one monthly commission of Nnoitra artwork! I used to do this, and I really miss having a commission to look forward to.

SEND MORE ASKS! After I began counting my sent asks vs received asks, I’ve come to realize that I’m incredibly fortunate to receive a lot of asks. I want to give back to the community that’s so kind to me, and send out at least as many as I receive!

WRITE SOME SHIP STUFF FOR NNOITRA! I really miss writing ship-stuff for Nnoitra. I have an idea for a ship-story for him, so I’d love to write that. It’s going to be set in an AU and also in fanfiction-format. I want to write some romance for him, but I don’t expect him to find a partner ( he is simply very hard to ship with, though we will keep our three eyes open for ships for him! ). I just want to have some happiness for him!

MAKE PROGRESS IN HIS MAIN VERSE! I want to continue his story! I’ve been writing his main verse for 8 years now, and so much as happened! I’m excited to see how the story continues, and who he meets this year. I hope he can make some personal development, and have a good year!

As you guys can see, I have big plans for 2023. I believe I’m finally going to have the creative year I’ve been dreaming of. Everything is aligning perfectly for me. I’m better at dealing with my chronic illness than I’ve ever been, I’m in such a great place mentally ( I am literally so happy all the time? ), I live in a beautiful place with the love of my life, I take good care of everyone around me. I feel inspired and creative. I truly wish everyone the best year! I hope you all can be happy and get to write as much as you want! HAPPY NEW YEAR LET’S HAVE A GREAT ONE !! ]

2023-06-12, session #18 of Mutucule Farm! Year 2, Summer 22 through Fall 1!

Summer 22:

Belle discusses “my husband”, or “musband”

Pompkin is in the field so he’s getting watered today

I will tell Belle why I wanted all that milk ... when we’re old and gray and I’m on grandpa’s shitty deathbed

I’m excited for Robin to show me her carpentry secrets, until she reveals it’s the drum and flute blocks; those things should stay secret

Cutscene where I’m given the (bad) choice to invite Linus to live on the farm; instead, I’m just pleased he’s doing well

TURBOCOWS

Belle is out late talking to Clint, but I don’t know where Erin is— she “didn’t know there was a curfew” (there is no curfew)

Summer 23:

Belle gets mail calamari from Linus, and threatens to eat it in front of Pierre

Turbocows just needed more enrichment in their enclosure

Erin gets hat-surprised by my awful hat*, the worst kind of surprise (* - legally not a hat)

All of my pigs are grown! The reactor is online!

Pompkin sleeping in the kitchen? He do that sometimes.

Somebody sold a cherry bomb?? (how dare they)

Summer 24:

I wake up to a pirate themed house! (Penny takes her roleplaying too seriously)

She broke the sign with the prismatic jelly, though :(

Big coop! Increased bird capacity!

Pompkin likes the peppers

funny how the young pigs are sleek handsome lads, and then the adult pigs look like old mobsters

(Don’t investigate the pigs, you don’t wanna hurt their feelings)

Belle fills the extra hay capacity in the coop; Erin suggests it’s in case they get peckish

Summer 25:

Lil Phil makes Cam crack a smile

Cam and Emily are engaged! There will be no wedding.

I really need to upgrade my axe, this one ... just isn’t cutting it.
