what's a scene (byler or not) you'd absolutely love to see?
okayokayokay im going to say a byler scene first bc of course i would and then i’ll get to others
i am WEAK. and i mean really REALLY WEAK. when it comes to hugs. they’re so versatile. platonic, romantic, consolation, happiness, relief, so on and so forth.
i am prayin so hard that we get a byler hug. more than just a quick embrace. im talkin squeezing the life out of each other, hands clutching at the fabric of each other’s shirts, faces buried in necks and yadda yadda yadda i want fluff as a result of angst. because whether or not it’s romantic, it’s emotional and they just really need it.
bonus points if the hug is paired with a) a coming out scene, b) a confession scene, or c) a much needed apology and heart-to-heart
and onto other things i would like:
i want at least one (1) interaction between mike and robin. for my mental health. i need robin to be the one to sort of urge mike to go to california to see will <3

marauders era relationships: marlene (as requested by @littlequeers and @imagineacoolsername)
individual relationships
marlene & james: childhood best friends and quidditch fanatics. james might or might not have had a crush on marlene but dissipated quickly. they've known each other for ages (marlene's mother works in the ministry, and fleamont visits a lot) and clicked off right away. competitive besties <3
marlene & sirius: the queerest besties there are. were each other's beard for a while and eventually caught themselves slightly catching feelings, especially sirius, but she broke up with them. ever since, they constantly gush to each other about their respective partners. gay fashion icons besties <3
marlene & remus: didn't really get along well at first, due to their very different attitudes, demeanor, and basically everything that has to do with not only morality, but everything else. cigarettes are what brought them together, and they have realized that they're not as different as they thought they were. constantly bully each other, weed besties <3
marlene & peter: also childhood friends and instantly clicked (peter and james had become friends through her, but that's for another post). marlene loves to joke about peter's mum, lydia, which both amuses him and pisses him off to no end; she thinks it's very funny to tell him she will marry his mum and make lydia her wife. childhood besties <3
marlene & lily: didn't get along at first either because marlene thought she was a prude, until she needed help with potions, and, knowing that lily is the best in their year (or maybe just because she didn't want tutoring from one severus snape,), she sought help from her. that's when she realized that maybe lily is not as bad as she thought she is. icon besties <3
marlene & mary: hit it off instantly because of their similarities. love to share the juiciest pieces of gossip and borrow the other's clothes shamelessly, as if they were their own. were each other's first kiss, and mary was marlene's first lesbian crush, which wasn't reciprocated :(, but marlene got over it soon. very cool besties <3
marlene & dorcas: hated each other ('s guts) for a long time but, with their mutual friends and love for quidditch, they were able to work past their differences and became friends. despite dorcas asking marlene out, she was the one who fell in love first. lovers besties <3
group relationships
marlene & mary & lily: the coolest gryffindor girls. love to both compliment and bully each other to no end (no end means until one of them starts fake-crying and storms out of the room because they think it's hilarious; it is, at most, funny). have the best taste in fashion. coolest besties <3
marlene & mary & sirius: the hottest besties there will ever be. no one can stop them and their badassery. share their clothes and have a fashion night / sleepover each friday evening, religiously. hot shit besties <3

what's your favourite theory so far, and which one(s) do you think is going to happen?
honestly im not well versed in all the theories because there’s just so many, but i have to say my favorite is just Will having powers! it’s a concept id really really love to see them explore, though as i said before, im not sure it will happen.
can’t really answer the second half bc i don’t know nearly enough theories skjdksjd ive mainly read the byler meta and analyses lmao but if that counts, i fully believe the byler theories and predictions will come true, like mike realizing he was sort of using el as a beard and that he actually has feelings for will, and will confessing to mike in some way etc etc :)

do you think byler will get together this season or in s5?
ive been kinda back and forth on this one before.
as much as i would like byler to get together this season, i think it won’t happen until s5.
the main reason for that is actually just marketing. if byler gets together now (like, explicitly stated and not just implied), the show is unfortunately going to lose a lot of fans. they may very well hold off on an explicit confirmation until s5 simply to keep views up. i understand it, but it feels cheap.
(i say this will keep views up because there will always be those people who still miss or blatantly ignore the romantic storyline between two characters of the same gender. they’ll latch on to their het ship for as long as they can. cough cough these people know who they are)
despite that, this season is going to be so so so byler heavy and we won’t even need an explicit confirmation to know that mike starts reciprocating will’s feelings and that it’s mutual!! im confident on that!! but the actual forming of their relationship as ~boyfriends~ won’t take place yet </3
in due time!!

what do you think abt will having powers?
im like 90% sure it’ll happen. like funnily enough im more confident in byler being canon than will having powers only because the latter doesn’t have as much evidence, but it’s still heavily hinted at, yknow?
i can see why it also wouldn’t happen, because despite the long runtime of this season and the fifth and final season lying ahead, it may feel a little late to expand on it.
however!!! i just thought of something.
from the very beginning of the show, will and el have been two sides of the same coin. when will vanished, el appeared. when el disappeared, will was back. so on and so forth.
so maybe… since el has lost her powers, Will will have powers “in place” of el while hers come back.
that’s kind of a stretch though. anyway, i definitely think will has electrokinesis at the very least, but im not confident it’ll be fully explained for a long time to come
