Thinking about Izzy (shocker, I know) and how he’s paralleled with Mary and her line of ‘I don’t hate our lives! At least no so much as to want to [change them so drastically and potentially dangerously while uprooting our kids lives as well]!’ and how she was unhappy too but was putting in the effort to make things work as best she could while Stede just didn’t try.
Thinking of how unhappy Izzy must have been in this life that he had no choice to live in while still putting in the effort while Ed didn’t try because he hated his life and wanted to drastically and potentially dangerously change it leaving Izzy and his crew high and dry.
Thinking of how Stede and Mary reconciled after Mary’s attempted murder and their subsequent talk and how they get to be friends now (Stede’s fake death notwithstanding, they could work around that) and they actually let themselves care about each other despite the hurt they’ve caused each other.

oki about what happened, and also with the current pinned post being about ask game set-up
me and phil planned to take this time to retheme our blog and our intro post, get our old banners back up, etc. just make it fresher. so ill make our rules more clear once we’re finished and boost the links up top, revamp anon list, etc.

i have to agree, even if i like the way they styled the male mc hair, it looks kind of cute! But the color... Eh. It's weird, even to me when I'm used to absurd hair colours thanks to all the anime I watched (in fact I was even surprised to see how feh3 had mostly "normal" hair?) but even THAT looks out of place for me. idk what was going on in their head tbh with the mc hair, everything looks kind of alright - 🌹
Like, we're used to weird hair, right? I love the hair in fire emblem.
But no one except a traumatized character who styles her hair super bright on purpose has that weird... split contrasting colors thing going on? And fire emblem you can pick any sort of hair and its color for certain mcs in the earlier games, right? but the color palette for them was always a bit darker or pale, like if it was pink, it was usually a toned down pink or a light pink that really looked great and such.
