I need the Butches to come save me again
#Everytime I get overwhelmed trying to clean my house I sigh and tell my dog this#i’m working on it#im making progress#but I am going to ask the butches to come help me again#if you’re in the PDX area highly recommend Rent-a-Butch#I’ve had them out a couple of times now and they’re always really nice and leave me feeling better with a cleaner home

Spreading the love!
I'm in the midst of finals week and finishing my freshman year of college, also moving out of my dorm. This summer will be different than high school summers, and I have a lot of fear, so answering this is gladly something I will do to retrack my mind :)
1. Finding cool rocks when I go on walks and knowing a little something about them - it makes me feel like my geology degree is going to be worth it
2. Cuddling with my blanket and being warm and cozy when I go to sleep after a hard day
3. My best friend Sydney <3
4. Being proud of myself for small steps I'm taking to overcome my social anxiety, like going to the dining hall by myself for the first time last week and eating breakfast this morning after my exam and finding a table for me and my friend to study at in the library without the fear of judgment. I also have a habit of having to meet someone outside a place or having them come get me because I don't know how a place is laid out, but one of my friends wouldn't do that and I gathered up my courage after stalling for a bit and going in to find him, it was all good
5. Discovering new music last week and finding a new favorite song (light my love - greta van fleet)

One thing I genuinely think the fandom forgets or underestimates is just how weird Neil is. Like we paint him to be this carismatic, flashy, cocky bad boy, but in reality he's stingy, skittish, balks at anything more personal then his thoughts on Exy and Cannot for the life of him socialize. Like in the Raven King, right after Seth dies, he straight up goes:
"Neil had to patch things up with [Allison] somehow, but he didn't know where to start. He'd never been good at winning people over. Someone like Allison wasn't likely to be his first success. "
Neil's spent his life living on the outskirts of "average" life. Ergo, he's cagey and flighty and so far removed from normal that even among the Foxes he'll always be a little unpredictable and odd. And you know what, good for him; we all deserve an antisocial introverted asshole to raly behind.
