today, mar 25 2024, a woman came into my red hardware store and dumped her bag of returns on my counter. she said "i have a fucking return. it's all coming the fuck back. i don't need any of this fucking stuff" and i was instantly on edge because she's being loud and every other word was another f-bomb. and i GET IT i get swearing, i get being angry, but why the hell are you upset with me lol
i looked at the pile of stuff and was like "oh did you buy this yesterday?" because i recognized the pile of items as things that i had personally rung up at some point. it's a bunch of electrical stuff like outlet covers and some solenoids or wtv. but god i shouldn't've said anything. because she snaps "No what the fuck. i bought this fucking weeks ago. and i dont fucking need it. so i'm returning it"
and i'm like.. damn ok, fine. she's digging for receipts. and has a huge stack of Orange Hardware store receipts. and i'm watching her flip through them and she snaps "go ahead and grab yours if you recognize it!" and i'm like 'uh.. ok i'm pretty sure that my store's receipt is this one' and i pointed at one (idk if its just the font but i recognized my store's receipt and yoinked it out.
so i start processing her return. she's like "ugh i need to go get my card from the car!" and i'm like ok, that's fine. she doesn't really need it for the return but 1) i want her to get away from me because i'm gonna call a manager she's being such an asshole. 2) her friend was looking for other stuff to buy.
she comes back in with her card. i'm like scanning and returning the items. 3 items i KNOW are NOT ours are on the pile. im like.. i don't want to deal with her trying to insist that they belong to our store. but i scan one. it beeps 'item not found' i go 'oh well these items aren't from our store, sorry i can't return them"
and she's like "i dont see how that's fucking possible! everything in that bag is from this fucking store!" and she's just absolutely shrieking. and i don't understand why she's mad, like i don't get it. the manager came up and was like 'we don't sell this product. sorry we can't do a return on it.'
she screams some more but accepts that they must be Orange Hardware and not Red Hardware. She goes out to "make a call while her friend shops"
and i swear to god that she was screaming at someone on the phone for next fourteen minutes and everyone inside the store could hear her from the parking lot. every other word out of this woman's mouth was "fuck" and it was setting my nerves on edge.
her friend finally came up to buy his shit. and it totals $77. she's standing at the door handing him her visa and she is PISSED that the total is $77. she says she doesn't understand how it could add up to that much. and im like uhmmmm.. they're plumping parts.. and the stupid toys you're buying for your grandkids pushed the total to $77 after tax.. either buy it or leave. i don't care
she ended up buying it but you could still hear her swearing up and down the parking lot as she was screaming on the phone with her mother (apparently) saying that she was going to need to be reimbursed for the shit she was buying
and i'm just like... goddamn, i dont care how awful your day is. don't take it out on employees or customers you asshat.
the only funny part about this is the fact that her name was actually Karen. which just made me laugh. but all the other staff had come up to the front to make sure i was okay while she was yelling. and she did get intimidated by some of the men and slink out while her friend paid for the stuff. but still.. a big yikes.

Heeey guys. So I felt like I needed to post something that isn't uh... you know, rambling nonsense while I'm out of my damn mind.

Anyways, another announcement just to make this potently clear to anyone stupid enough to treat a tired college student with a neurodevelopmental disorder as some sort of pariah of headcanon/lore expertise: i said that headcanoning the knight as an adult was 'sus' in a half-hearted jokey manner right before i went to sleep late at night based on bad porn takes that i came across while scrolling twitter and nothing else. Then when my friends were like 'uh wait no more interpretations exist' i went 'oh shit my bad, i still dont like it bc of personal tastes tho so please dont flood my inbox about it again, but its fine'. I don't even believe in anti rhetoric either, I'm constantly reblogging why they're fucked up and their harassment campaigns are wrong and dangerous, so idfk why they'd consider me as a reliable resource
Also, why the fuck would anyone take me as the lore/headcanon god?? Nothing about what I do is special. I don't even care that much about my own headcanons, almost all of what I find fun about the fandom is comparing and contrasting my headcanons to those of other people's because I love seeing what they get up to. As for canon, literally everything I loredig about is in the game already, I'm just rambling about it through my own perspective as someone who likes to do media analysis. Nothing about what I do is special or should be treated as such, and I always talked about my hcs/interpretations as someone who assumed that people knew they were just that: ramblings and nothing more. I love different hcs, I just sometimes don't click with others because of my own weird squicks and triggers
Also also: I don't post my headcanons outside of tumblr and what I write on my ao3 in my fics, so idk how you want me to somehow control the rabid freaks on other websites. I'm not doing this to be an influencer, gain popularity, or broadcast some superiority complex. In fact, I've actively spent the entire duration I'm in this fandom worrying about bothering people with my hcs/ramblings, but posting them anyways because if I don't talk about it then it makes me want to chew my own leg off. a bit of a message talking about inactivity and my possible hiatus. I dont know if this counts as a cw but i talk about depression here and there at the beginning (nothing graphic) and as usual, its a rant
im gonna be straight honest rn, i'm probably not gonna be active on tumblr for these next few days, ive been super up and down depressed and im just unmotivated and too tired to do anything, im still gonna check in here and there but dont expect me to reblog or reply to many posts, if at all. This could mark the beginning of a hiatus, but with mood swings and up and down depression, i could be back, active as ever tomorrow. Ever since ive uninstalled Sims 4, i did feel a weight lift off my shoulders, but simultaneously made me depressed due to the lack of... well... doing something, i dont... really know how to put it into words, its just something in my brain that i just cant explain, i guess a good way to put it is playing sims 4 gave me the motivation to stem off into other mediums, blender for example, gave me something to do, something to learn, and while i can still use blender, i just get progressively slower and slower at doing stuff in it because of my limited resources, some scenes i want to do require specific outfits and i dont have the facilities to make those outfits... i mean i probably do but i just dont feel motivated to do all that. I still play other games, ive been playing a lot of slime rancher 2 and have been trying to branch out to other games (indie games and bigger games), I want to post gameplay but if youve seen me rant about tumblr before, one of my biggest gripes is just how fucking annoying it is to upload images, so i just get completely unmotivated to post images/gameplay especially if its just some silly post. if uh if anyone is still reading this, ill be honest, i havent even been motivated to write about WAS at all, probably havent touched the planning doc in about 2 weeks. This... 'spiral'... has been noticeable for me for the last week as my sleep schedule gets swapped around from sleeping at night and awake during the day... to sleeping during the day and awake at night, this is all my fault, but its also just something that happens rotationally for me, i go from sleeping VERY early in the evening (6PM at the earliest) and waking at VERY early times in the morning (4AM at the latest) to sleeping VERY late in the morning (6AM at the earliest) and waking up late in the evening (3PM at the latest), i dont really know what causes the shift, but it happens, and i often blame myself for it even though i dont know what causes it...
anyways sorry, this will probably mark a very iffy hiatus, like i said ill be active but not... super active, i didnt check tumblr at all yesterday/monday, so thats kind of the pattern to expect from me depending on the day. In the meantime... i might try to get back into older sims games, ive mentioned this before, but i do have sims 1 on my laptop so maybe ill post stupid little gameplay posts from there (granted i havent played in like... a month 😐). I'll probably put up a poll after this post for people to vote on which sims game i should play- i KNOW i did it once before but im probably gonna do it again cuz i cant find the post and i have over 1000 posts 😭

Hey uh you posted a new chapter of When The World Crumbles but when I click the link it wont let me see the fic?

Is the link broken?
I locked When The World Crumbles and all my other fics to only be visible to people logged into an ao3 account.
I dont want to but yesterday I got an ask from another anon asking if they could feed my fics to ChatGPT because I "wasn't updating them anymore"
So that got me really paranoid that the anon could actually do that so I locked the fics down because as far as I know Ao3 doesnt have any other ways to prevent our fics from being fed into an AI
Im really sorry about this, especially because there are so so many wonderful guests that read my works and now they wont be able to because of assholes wanting to steal my hardwork like that one anon
It sucks but until Ao3 adds some kind of feature to prevent AI scraping the fics wont be available to guests

Hi, sorry for bothering you. I just started playing Life Makeover yesterday. I was wondering if you could explain guilds? I haven't been able to join one, but I don't want to buy/spend coupons to create a guild without knowing what I'm getting into.

I really only know the basics bc i just joined the first english one i could find. As my previous history with archosaurs mmo Dragon Raja...it's honestly probably going to be much easier to join as a member...unless you plan on being very active and having enough members in your own guild. Bc of the real world value...if your guild shuts down via not having funds....well there goes your money.
Once you unlock guilds you want to act pretty fast. As like their other game, they like to auto apply you to a guild after awhile...and unless you want to keep leaving guilds best apply or make one as quickly as possible.
Ive yet to have any issues with my own guild, i do my basic dailies enough that i meet their requirements but every guild is different. Try to find one that suits your needs...some have discords (like mine but i uh didnt join and dont seem like i have to....) or require you to be active enough before they kick you

Now as someone not in a position of guild power...some features are pointless to me. But first!
Members: these are the people in the guild that have access to every feature minus any features locked behind a certain role (like increasing sizes and merging guilds)
Reserve: You are not a full member. You can use the shop, take part in events and use the guild channel. You can support the guils but you wont add to funds. After 72 hours of not being online you will get auto kicked. Once you hit level 25 and earn ovee 90 points in the guild you will auto become a member.
Vacation: you can only use the channel, this is where you go if you're a member with 90 points or more and havent been online in more than 72hrs...
Merge guild: If its like DR then basically if your guild is small and is struggling to meet requirements to keep activity up...you'll be able to merge guilds with another one to help keep your guild going (i dont have access to this so i might be missing something)
Change Post: this just is a list of themes you can change the names of positions to...i assume this is something only you see? But i havent changed it
Inspiration project: those books from dailies go here (the game will let you know you have these ready to be donated with a red dot) this is the easiest way to increase your member points
Welfare...once a week you can claim some rewards based on how well you're doing
Guild shop: you'll get pearls from doing inspo and support....this is one place you'll be able to spend them
This is the other. If you've ever played Shining Nikki its very similar to the guild feature where you can unlock makeup. Some cost gold some cost pearls and they will get more expensive as you go farther. You'll get stat bonuses and every so many levels unlock makeup
Support: honestly the perfect support isnt worth it and costs gems. Three times a day you can support the guild to earn pearls and add guild funds...its mostly for yourself
All of this is for the pres and vice master to use...basically level up each feature i cant say much else since im not either of those roles

guys ep 54 spoilers yes i know entame hasnt subbed it yet
very long post warning
before you ask, i saw the episode live yesterday :) yugipedia discord server (#spoiler section) was very helpful and provided a link (jkjk i was lurking they just posted one anyway)
also side note i dont understand japanese so dont ask me for a translation :D take this with a grain of salt
what i understood was manabu acting weirdly, that being an actual act, yuna challenges him and uh
so she has a sevens road knockoff series called 'celeb rose', which is funny because in a questionable dream i had yuna played a rose deck similar to aki's.
off track, manabu knocks yuna back so hard she hallucinates or something and sees elemental versions of her or something seriously referencing the 6 goha siblings from SEVENS and confirms that yuna is past yuo and not anyone else yay.
also, the water one says tsuna so that's hilarious
so we get a flashback of aitsu/that guy/yuga/whatever you want to call him making the card processor so yay ig teeny tiny plot hole filled
manabu has a maximum because PHASER WHY ARE YOU JUST HANDING OUT MAXIMUMS LIKE HOT POTATOES WHY
friendly reminder that aitsu could've just pulled out flagship or any other maximum (looking at you, yggdrago) and beaten ryugu into the dirt and we wouldn't've had this entire arc

how's the road trip going?
oh my god. dude.
so on ONE HAND im a living cautionary tale about (sorry to anyone with common sense for what im about to say i did) buying a 46 year old motorhome without ever seeing it and then not having a mechanic look at it before you leave and then not getting any kind of roadside assistance membership and then driving to uh. las vegas from vancouver (and back. hopefully). yesterday we broke down three seperate times and ive spent a SIZEABLE amount of my getting-hit-by-a-car insurance payout on just keeping sally (my motorhome) running (this includes two mobile mechanics a heavy-duty tow a regular mechanic AND a few visits to auto parts places) (im gonna become a self taught mechanic but only for 76 chevy vans)
on the OTHER HAND: im literally having the time of my life. i live in a 25 foot motorhome with two of my best friends and every day we just get up and drive however far we want and then we find a (usually free) place to smoke, eat, and sleep. rinse and repeat. there was a solid stretch of a week where we swam in a different body of water every day. we effectively got paid to camp a few nights when we stayed in casino parking lots. ive seen world-famous national parks for free (which was because we broke down in the line to get in but whatever) and woke up to sunrise in the sierra nevadas and watched sunset from a cliff overlooking the pacific ocean. AND THE CLIMBING. oh my god the climbing. i need everyone to look up promontory in california we didnt climb the main wall but just looking at it gave me the shakes. i got no photo access rn bc all the best pictures are on my roadmates phones but once the trip is over i might do a post w some good climbing shots bc !!!! wow! i can climb a lot of really scary stuff REALLY well
on the OTHER other hand. i am disgusting. every single killjoys blogger ever romanticizing eating canned food and living in a car in the desert needs to paypal me 25 dollars so that i can pay for a night in a place with a shower. literally as i was typing this answer i had to have a discussion with my roadmates about wanting clothes washed *with soap* because we're at a laundromat and forgot to put detergent in one of the loads the first time around. ive got bug bites from weeks ago that still havent healed and we dont know why and the STATE of my toenails is. ill say less. do not get me wrong this trip is fucking fantastic but i am discovering and blowing straight through every personal hygiene limit i could possibly have. i share a bed with a boulder pad the size of another person that is STILL shedding sand from the oregon coast
so uh. if you ever have the chance to do a minimal-planning roadtrip you should. even the most stressful days (of which we have not had a shortage) have had good moments and the best days are perfect

You can find replies of me on twitter from over 24 hours ago, before i even checked tumblr, saying VERY SIMILAR shit as what I said in my post. Also i would like to know what screenshot you mean. The screenshot about the costume designer's commentary got passed around by multiple accounts, again yesterday, by people on twitter (idk who posted it first, but I personally saw it from duncanbrola on twitter). And the rest was all already in my camera roll from ages ago, minus the bts pic itself. And minus the el/max talk at the mall, which i googled the literal quote to find the collage. And the watermark on the collage is still there and very visible so ??

my post is about winwin from nct! (he’s my fav i’m so protective over him hhhhhhhhh)
idk how familiar you are with nct or the mess that it is lol but basically one of its subunits debuted on july 7th, 2016 (7 years ago today) and winwin was one of the original 7 members. his first group is called nct 127 and the 127 represents the longitude of seoul, but there’s also a theory/cute little thing saying that it also represents the number of members and how they were added:
7 + 2 + 1 = 10.
he was kind of phased out/removed from the group at the end of 2018, and there was never any announcement saying he left officially so the group has 10 members on paper but only 9 active members
a lot of fans have accepted he probably isn't coming back :( but the issue is the group got more popular after he left so to a lot of people he isn't super important especially cause solo/single unit stanning is really common in this fandom. also because he was neglected by the company he never really had a lot of lines/center parts/screen time so it's easier to "forget/ignore" him as horrible as it sounds :(
and it's unfortunate but a lot of people don't treat him well, and what baffles me is that he wasn't removed cause he did something wrong ;-; most of the time people dont like past members cause they were removed for problematic/illegal behavior but that's not the reason why (the reason is mostly political, since he is chinese and went to promote in the chinese unit wayv starting in jan. 2019, and to my understanding china occasionally has kpop bans it's easier to get around them if none of the members are in an explicitly kpop group such as nct 127. this is a whole complicated issue in itself and there's some discourse on twt rn about it (read the qrts if you want but be ready for drama lol))
a lot of his fans and wayv stans are much happier with how he is now, because he really opened up as a person and grew as an artist following his departure from the group. he was definitely limited before due to the neglect and also cause he occasionally got boxed in as being the cute guy everyone likes and dotes on but never really an artist or even person in his own right. also he struggled with korean sometimes so he got to express himself much better when surrounded by his chinese bandmates
(though it is really important to note that people push a narrative that he hated being in nct 127 and didn't really love the members which i think is very untrue, you can tell he really worked hard and enjoyed their music, he notably has a strong bond with many people in the group)
i love him in nct 127 and i think he was a very special addition to the group, i would welcome him back anytime <3 but i am happy to see him where he is now, more successful than ever before.
but here is the issue:
since most 127 stans see the group as 9, they celebrate the debut of nct 127 and its 9 active members (which is kinda ironic cause winwin debuted on 160707 but most of the active lineup (literally everyone except yuta and haechan) did not but i digress). due to the nature of nct, he debuted again in 2018 (nct u) and in 2019 (wayv). but his first debut, the day he became an idol, is july 7th, 2016. and what hurts is because when people celebrate the debut of the current 9 member group, they overlook the debut of an original member of the group. which is why later yesterday night i also praised a big fanacc for posting ot10 pics and videos. i dont mind people wanting the focus on the 9 active members more, but i think its weird to call youself a fan of the group or an nctzen and ignore the debut of a member so blatantly :( there are random journalists who were posting articles but someone who claims to be ot20 or ot22 or ot23 or ot25 ot ot26 or whatever u people are this week to not say anything is kind of weird. and it's also why i dont like this other big fanacc because they post throwbacks but always ignore him, how can you be a throwback acc and not post a PAST member ;-; like i said if he was horrible and dishonorably discharged (lol) from the group its a dif story but this is just ridiculous.
anyway i hope that going forward we can love all members of nct and celebrate all of them <3
