#glass animals#honestly i wore out dreamland sm my brain took a lonnng break from expecting anything from them?? idk i’m just huh????#like….. when i say wore out#i cannot describe how much i listened to it#i usually have some vague idea even if it’s a ridiculous number#like 52 times in a month for an album or something (has happened)#i cannot recall w this#gonna say bc 2020 & they were Literally the last band i saw live. next morning everyone found out about everything annd lockdown. no joke#so it was big dreamland time when it dropped and revisiting their past albums when i broke out of its spell lmao#(pretty sure before that like january was when i listened to déjà vu 100+ times in a row tho so oop. it was a tough day lol)#anyway seeing this aww man. i really have had this band with me for a long long time. 🥹 i remember hearing gooey on the radio one night#driving home from work late @ night in 2014. the drive was so short i couldn’t be arsed to fish out my ipod & plug it in#sometimes so just popped on a good station i had preset. started the car and heard this *voice* and i was like who????#had to check the station bc it was an alt station and i thought i had it on another one which was fine i was just v confused#it was in the middle of the song & i was immediately anxious to know the name hoping i’d hear it & it wouldn't just flow into the next song#then the dj would pile the names together after x number of songs played bc i was tiired (but woulda stayed in the car ngl). got lucky &#ran inside to find it then yelled at my roommate the next day that she HAD to listen to it during a smoke session after work#(i was right & it blew her miiind)#god. what a fucking time. what a fucking band. idk what the disc horse is surrounding them now since they blew up via tiktok#i’m sure people are v quick to say they’re overrated bc of that but idk & i’m glad i don’t know. they’ll always be this#highly inventive incredible band i stumbled upon for the perfect night drive home after a long long shift#a band that came back from a Horrible accident that should have ended 1 of their lives & somehow didn’t & should have ended them#as a band (like still cannot believe Joe was drumming in 2020 & i saw it with my own eyes like how tf???!?)#a band deserving of all of its successes. glass animals forever

I already feel like I have so many btvs opinions that no one would want.
#examples: 1.) fixated on Xander. my little guy with his little outfits and hes been through so much 2.) hate buffy/angel with the so much#energy and therefore can't stand angel too. besides getting into how it is a realistic portrayal of an older man preying on a teenager#it also is just literally illegal. anyways 3.) after watching the scene where faith sexually assaults & tries to kill xander and everything#else she does following i like. do NOT know if I will succeed at feeling much other than rage at her#she seems compelling and like a character i could like but the problem is the narrative cares more about her spiralling than xander so 😬😬#also I find willow boring so far which isnt an indictment against her but that anti lust spell she was going to cast#on xander without his knowledge 😬😬 also idk if ill ever forgive giles for drugging Buffy#also buffy is a sweetheart but it frustrates me nearly always her emotions are the only ones that get weight#also i think that spn .uh may jabe had it right with make every monster a guy#ALSO the bigotry within the show and fundamental flaws are very similar to spn levels (though I know someone who agrees there ckskkz)#also i do think this show would hit different if you watched it as a teenager. I have never been into her love interest being a whole ass grown man!#like hes an entire adult technically as old as her grandmother#I guess I appreciate that it’s sort of a side thing; but.....#This book makes it VERY clear that there’s big crushes/attraction between her and haruka#and also addison has a male ex & they realise they very explicitly still have feeling for each other in this one.#and…….it just doesn’t sort of address that at the end?#like it’s clearly intentional; why not have them have even a brief discussion about it. polyamory babey.#I think if it HAD been explicitly brought up at the end I would have been a bit more cool with her and addison;#since that would have removed the sort of endgame-generic-relationship-monogamy-together-forever kind of assumption yknow..#I dunno. Ok triple vaccine is kicking my ass. Now. I am.now grateful that I scheduled it with a day off after
#speculation nation#negative/#i will be real this is genuinely one of the worst pains of my life#but to.make matters worse. my period started :/ so im dealing with first day cramps of Those#i got only 4 hours of sleep bc despite taking a melatonin i just Could Not Fall Asleep#my feet and legs were so very cold that even 45 minutes under a hot pad still hadnt warmed them#it took hours before i felt like i could remove it. idk how long exactly id finally fallen asleep#but june wouldnt stop crying until eventually she came up to bed#and poor sweet girl did her normal thing of climbing on me. which is usually fine.#but she stepped on my arm and. hhhhhholy shit lmfao That had to be one of the worst pains of my life.#like a 7 or maybe even an 8. right now doijg nothing id say its a 5#i need to take ibuprofen but i need to get some food in me first#which. oh yeah. i got out of bed to try to eat a bit so i could take some ibuprofen. ended up lightheaded as fuck#had to sit down several times. until at one point i got hit with a spell so bad i was Convinced i was gonna throw up#sat beside the toilet with a cold sweat as i waited for the nausea to subside.#i was gonna have corn dogs for a small meal. they r in the microwave even. but rn i am.just gingerly sipping on an Ensure#with a plastic bag beside me lol. just in case. bc i dont fuck with nausea risks man i am.not puking on my floor.#eurgh why did my.body decide to make things worse for me.... this Sucks#emetophobia/

people really need to watch movies outside of hollywood. not every movie needs to have a big satisfying ending where everything is answered and you have no questions. sometimes a movie is more about what happens instead of the end
