A short list of things I would have changed in HoO

It takes place ten ish years after the end of PJO. Percy and Annabeth aren’t a part of the seven but instead appear as cool older mentors to help out the Lost Hero trio. They both have careers and live in New York and go to Sally’s house for dinner every weekend.

Caleo isn’t a thing. In fact, let’s not even mention Calypso. At most we mention she was freed after the last war as idk proof demigods have some power or something.

More than 1 Asian character. Give this one ADHD and dyslexia bc shocker Asian kids can be disabled as well.

For that matter a properly disabled character. I have a deaf OC I would use if I rewrote the series.

Leo is aroace. His arc is about learning that his self worth doesn’t have to be tied to the people around him and his friends love and care about him and he doesn’t need romance to be complete. His flirting is overcompensation bc he doesn’t feel romantic or sexual attraction and is afraid he’ll be alone forever.

Drew and Piper become friends. Drew’s mean girl bullshit is outdated and boring and it would have been a lot cooler to see her icy exterior thaw and her help Piper with her charmspeck (explaining how Piper learned how to use it to begin with) and take on an older sister role

Neither Leo nor Piper become head councilors to their cabins because that’s dumb

Keep the chapter title style from PJO. It was so fun and one of the highlights of the series for me. The relatable nature of PJO in general was kinda lost in HoO and it’s a shame bc there was such a variety of characters for people to identify with there.

Give Reyna a girlfriend or at least a homoerotic friendship that can become an actual relationship in the next series or something

Frank is 14 and he and Hazel aren’t dating, they just have mutual baby crushes on one another.

For that matter what the fuck was ‘Frank is magically not fat due to Mars’s blessing’ bullshit? Frank is a fat character who stays fat but learns to be confident in himself and his body type.

Stop The Adultification of Hazel 2k23. Hazel is 13, she’s the youngest member of the seven and despite her trauma I think that should be obvious. I think emphasizing her relationship with Nico could be fun here - he’s in his 20s so him taking a more ‘that older sibling who toes the line between parent and sibling’ role here could be fun.

Also, I don’t want Hazel to have Hecate’s blessing or whatever. Between her being a magical horsegirl and the daughter of Pluto there’s already a lot of room to expand on her powers that was never used - I think doing more with her cursed jewels and metals powers and her learning the other aspects of her powers, like Shadow Travel, would be fun.

Instead I think having a daughter of Hecate as a part of the Seven would be cool, because we could still have a witchy character with mist manipulation and magic powers.

Give Jason an actual personality, please. Bro’s been a child solider practically since age 2 and has spent his whole life with the weight of other teenagers’ lives on his shoulders as praetor - give him perfectionism issues and anxiety. We’re told that he’s spent his whole life helping others compromise instead of being his own person - show that. Let his arc end with him deciding to try and live a mortal life and find out who he is beyond being a war general.

Show us that Octavian’s a piece of shit, don’t just tell us.

Leo and Piper are the ones who fall into Tartarus. Nothing romantic ever happens but we get heavy emphasis on their friendship and we get to see their grief over Leo’s mom and Piper’s grandfather respectively

Piper’s grandfather has died a few months ago and she cut her hair herself when her dad didn’t want to let her due to that (correct me if I’m wrong but it’s a tradition in Cherokee culture to cut your hair when a loved one dies, correct?), which is why it’s all uneven. A lot of her insecurities stem from going from growing up in rural Oklaholma (not in a reservation bc there aren’t any there) without much money to suddenly being catapulted into a millionaire Hollywood lifestyle and having everyone criticize everything about her and be really racist, all while her Dad drew farther away from both her and her grandfather. Her arc would be reconnecting with both her culture and Dad and learning to find who she is and her self worth again.

They defeat Gaea in a way that isn’t so anticlimactic and fucking stupid

Percy and Jason are the types of guys that doesnt really notice the physical much when they have a gf.

e.x. Percy and Rachel/Calypso. He loves both because of how natural they were. They didnt try hard to impress, unlike Venus/Aphrodite. Its the fact that you just blend into your own skin and take the spotlight that is given to you - without demanding any attention in an annoying way.

Jason would like you, being you. He doesnt like people that try to act like someone theyre not, because he has done that his whole entire life and it can get shitty.

So being upfront about your dislikes and likes is a huge plus.

We see in HOO that both guys are a bit dense to romantic things at times, unless you vocally tell them. So, if the reader expressed dislike if they hug her too close (because then they might feel her chest being small), they are quick to notice and take it seriously.

But just because Jason and Percy are dense, its because theyre busy with quests and other demigod matters. But they are known to read situations well. Percy has shows great observation skills and understand people without them bringing things up. Jason has learned how to read people from a young age - its how he survived.

Because of this, they would notice immedietly. Jason would give you a knowing look in the corner of his eye. Percy would blink at you and understand but wouldnt bring it up if you dont approach him first.

Blowjobs, sex, making-out - they can leave things like that out of the relationship completely. They dont mind at all. They are well mature and smart enough to understand that, "hey, not everybody like this!". They would never force you to do anything.

Lupa and Sally taught gave them different teachings. Lupa only taught Jason how to analyze, he needed to learn everything else. Sally might not have time to actually sit and talk about romantic and sexual affairs, but Percy has been the type of character to show fool-proof understanding even with the awkward education he got.

Most likely, they would never ever even imply they want a blow jobs ever. They wouldnt even put you near their genitals, it fear it might trigger you.

Percy and Jason realizes this, and share that they dont like licking peoples genitals either, and that its just a preference.

Maybe they would even ask, most likely initiated by Jason/but could go either way, if you like having your chest touched. This might sound weird, but some people dont like it if someone if close to their chest, and might protect it especially if theyre insecure - so they might ask what the optimal distance is. And if they should be careful about hugs.

episode one:

- blackjack was percy seeing through the mist oh my god

- MYTHOMAGIC

- oh my god they just trade sandwich toppings. that is so cute what the fuck

- grover psychanalyzing people. yes. good.

- mrs. dodds scene was underwhelming but that’s okay (edit: fight choreo is absolutely phenomenal the rest of the time)

- i am GASPING out loud at grover telling the headmaster

- obviously he’s doing it because it’s not safe for percy

- i like that sally appears to argue with gabe more but also i’m worried she isn’t going to fucking murder gabe. it’s important to me that she kills that guy.

- annabeth just watching percy sleep with her arms crossed. she would.

- YOU DROOL WHEN YOU SLEEP oh my god the way she says it is like. so calculating. i always pictured it like a flippant thing in the book but no she’s like. angry. like it’s a remark on his character and she will use this detail to take him down in battle and it’s perfect and funny

- oh my god he’s turning away so grover doesn’t see him crying. i feel like this is a detail in the book somewhere but now i can’t find it happening so maybe i’m just losing it

- ok so the big house is not what i ever pictured but it is gorgeous and i love this version of it

- YES angry percy. i always felt like the musical emphasized how like. angry and upset percy was at his dad. obviously it’s a huge plot point in the book but it feels like more apparent in the musical and i always LOVED that about the musical so of course i LOVE that it is being emphasized in the show as well

- if percy doesn’t cut off medusas head and mail it to olympus after this and trying so hard to get his dad’s attention it will be SUCH a letdown i have to say it i’m sorry

- good bathroom scene. GOOD bathroom scene.

- oh i’m so in love with her

- like we knew she’d be phneomenal. but we’d seen so little of her in promo stuff!!! and i HAVE BEEN WAITING SO LONG TO SEE MY GIRL!!!!! AND HERE SHE FUCKING IS!!!!!!

- also saying annabeth is the head of the athena cabin and seeing tiny little annabeth is SO. funny. like we all knew it was funny that a twelve year old was in charge but SEEING it makes it so painfully obvious

- they call them forbidden kids that’s a little silly but that’s fine

- also i enjoy that they’re talking about thalia-luke-annabeth earlier

- BABY ANNABETH HIDING IN AN ALLEY. oh i hope we get to actually SEE this scene one day because i do love it so

- these waterfalls are SO. cool. the one thing the descriptions of camp were always missing. i love a waterfall

- the kid playing the war drums has me laughing out loud

- laughing OUT LOUD at percy. flossing and peeing and whistling

- oh my god a lizard. i would too.

- just laying down. picking at a leaf

- i just noticed he actually has vans. skater!percy lives

- GUESS ILL LOSE DESERT PRIVILEGES good book line so glad it’s in here

- the fight choreo is SO. GOOD

- “NOT BAD HERO” ALSO GOOD BOOK LINE

- you were here the whole time and you didn’t help me? yes. what is wrong with you!!

- oh i love her SO. much. i love them both so fucking much

- one of my FAVORITE lines is “poseidon, earthshaker stormbringer. hail perseus jackson son of the sea god” and i’m so glad we got it

- i like jason mantzoukas because, like that post about gene wilder, you can really believe he’d let those kids die

- also one of my favorite scenes is annabeth being invisible in the big house the whole time percy is being offered a quest and chiron is like “someone already offered to go with you” and annabeth takes her hat off to reveal she has been there the whole time. and it’s always been so funny to me but i don’t mind that the humor of it was still maintained in the scene after capture the flag being altered a little bit. and we still got “not bad hero”

- oh shit are we not getting the oracle. i guess it makes sense. it’s a lot of time when someone can just tell percy they think it’s hades but like. actually. BETRAYED BY ONE WHO CALLS YOU A FRIEND!! FAIL TO SAVE WHAT MATTERS MOST!! ITS KIND OF IMPORTANT and the oracle is like a very important plot point later

Ok but it’s so important we see Luke teaching Percy swordsmanship bc having the best swordsman in camp teach him is so important to his development as a warrior.

considering you mentioned that tyler was devastated that he couldn't ruffle percy's hair as easily when they get older i'm gonna assume that they're close? or grew close? what's their dynamic like (enid, sally, annabeth, percy, tyler)? does enid know that they're all demigods? if so, does being a werewolf play a part her figuring it out (like can she smell them the way saytrs can, wait is she a werewolf in this au as well?? bcs i think i read so somewhere but i'm not too sure)? also did knowing that percy was a demigod have any influence in her hiring sally or did she find out later? does she know their godly parents? wait is tyler even a demigod?? how did they get to camp? what were chiron and dionysos reaction to enid coming back, to idk drop off the kids or check in on them (also the reactions of campers who went during the time enid went, i mean, if there's any still alive 💀) also what's the fight w zeus about? what kind of godly quests did enid complete before she found annabeth (and did she get any rewards for it)? and also in your drawing of younger enid, you can see a scar that shows a XIII and i was wondering the story behind that👀👀?

But lemme explain, Enid picks up Annabeth after a few years on working under the God's directly. Immediately, she starts the sweets on America business to make sure Annabeth has a stable life compared to what she gone through. Being a demigod is hard, it's only right Enid makes sure it's easier for her daughter

When Annabeth needed to go to kindergarten, Enid made sure to hover around, after all she's rather aware of her daughter's lineage. It's where she meets Sally and well, they hit it off considering that they're both young parents.

Then the school day ends and wow, those eyes are rather familiar, enid thinks as she reaches the classroom with Sally.

As Annabeth smiles up at Enid, her eyes catch the grinning boy next to her.

Oh fuck, that's her uncle's eyes. Talk abt making this shit complicated. So now Enid stays around because one, that's her cousin and two, she may not be a hero but she cares.

After a month or two, when Sally loses a job, Enid offers her a spot at Sweets on America. Now they're pretty close, three years later :) does Sally harbor feelings? Who knowsss

Enid met Tyler a year after that, when he stumbled in bc Sally was offering samples when he was twelve something.

As for Tyler, he is very much a normie! Just a tad clear sighted like Sally. He was kinda freaking out because his dad has been telling him that he's seeing things like his mom, whos also clear sighted

And well.. The mom had an experience rather similar to Luke's mother in the books so it's no wonder he clings to Enid so much

Since Annabeth and Percy meet alot earlier compared to Canon, Percy tends to loiter around the shop with Sally

This is where he meets Tyler! And vice versa

They're kinda a lil family! Except, Sally couldn't fully embody the mother role. She's more neighbor essentially.

As for Enid being a werewolf, she was cursed. It's why she got that bite scar along her wrist but luckily she got cured during one of her first few quests after her exile. She's okay now, just a few leftover instincts but that's about it.

Since the present pjo au takes place when Enid is 30, Annabeth being a young 7 and Tyler a simply 14 something so they won't be going to camp for a while

Besides, you think Enid is going to let them go there? After what they did to her? Absolutely not.

Enid is also a child of zeus!! So any fight is practically a fight between father and daughter

I purposefully made their ages young so Wednesday can easily settle into the mother role, also bc domestic life with a child is pretty cute. Especially when a smart-ass like Annabeth is there to make sure her parent is dating someone worth her time

do you have any hc about percy being part of the sea? I know it's partly because we have so many books that get into his character and his connection to the sea, but t me it always felt like his connection is very different to the connection the other demigods have with their element

and u are not wrong, anon, because we don’t see anything like percy’s connection to the sea with other demigods and their respective elements. here are some Thoughts that i have about this, in no particular order at all:

if u read carefully, percy gets more and more powerful as time goes on, or more specifically: as he gains a better understanding about who he is. his connection to the sea is something he has to find, but it is still very much a part of him.

i feel like this is canon (i can’t remember? but i swear this is mentioned somewhere) but percy has more water in him than the average human. he is the ocean, based on how much raw power he has, so theoretically he may or may not be able to melt into the water the same way nico shadow travels. it could be like. idk. water traveling lmao

yes he can cause earthquakes, but this has to do with not only poseidon being the earthshaker (duh) but because the majority of earthquakes take place on the sea floor so. makes sense, i guess. this is something percy finds he can do later on (maybe when he’s 18 or something) because to me the incident of mount saint helens doesn’t count.

his moods change depending on the tides. for the longest time he didn’t know about this, but it gets to the point where it’s such a coincidence that when it’s a full moon he feels more powerful, more confident. tbh this is how i came up with the h2o au lol.

there was an oil spill near montauk while he was there and he felt sick for days

or for example if there’s a storm, he will feel uneasy/more alert about everything

this is how i came up with this fic bc he can totally tell when a storm is about to come in. this was handy in the argo ii probably lol

this goes for earthquakes, too. and sometimes he feels weird for no reason at all

like imagine him at school:

“hey, percy, you okay, man?”

and he explains that it’s an earthquake, but at the end of the day no one feels it bc it was like a 1.5 in the richter scale lmao so he learns to live with it.

obviously he wasn’t trained with his powers. obviously chiron didn’t want to train him. power=a threat in the riordanverse, so even once everyone learned about him being a son of poseidon no one made it their mission to help him control his powers. everything he knows about his abilities just….happened.

SO i am Convinced that poseidon or even triton take pity on him they also wanted to piss off zeus and help him out. he’s unstoppable after ofc

he’s also weirdly strong? this is canon, and it’s also canon for most demigods since it’s an actual Trait that was specifically described in greek mythology concerning heroes, but percy’s strength comes from the ocean’s raw power.

he loves salt. yes. he does. when annabeth first comes over to his apartment and sally makes her dinner she has to gulp down GALLONS of water because of how salty the food is 💀 sally had gotten so used to percy’s Needs ig. annabeth never lets percy live this down.

House of Hades, because not only for that scene, but Hazel is BAMF, Piper learning how to use charmspeak is cool, Percy going nuts is something I enjoy- look I know the book has issues (like all this saga) but still.

I change my mind a lot about it, I would like to say Hades, but I feel that is giving me too much credit in terms of power; the pjo quiz in told me my godly parent was Apollo, which kind of makes sense since I write and I do other artsy stuff, but is funny considering I had a vendetta against the prick since my dear Jason is dead and for his asshole of a son.

Probably Nico and Jason lmao, aside the fact that I love them, they are powerful as fuck. Nico could just shadowtravel to the flag, and Jason could fly to it.

32. Best demigod parents?

You mean like, immortal god? Or mortal parent? Because I don’t remember any demigods being parents, yet.

I will say for mortal parent, Esperanza, because despite knowing all the god deal, she was an amazing mom. And immortal one Hecate, because when she saw her kids trying to kill each other she made sure neither of them would die.

36. Cinnamon Roll demigod?

Um, Lacy I guess? Others would say Hazel but nah she is too badass for that.

40. Most “WTF” moment in the series?

I think when Bianca died, for me at least.

When I was reading the series at first, I really didn’t think someone would died. Sally came back, so did Tyson, and the prophecy said “lost in the desert”

The fact that she died for real took me by surprise.

If you mean something more odd than depressing, hmm, Percy convincing two rivers gods to participate in the war with a sand dollar? Idk a lot of shit is odd but it becomes normal after being in this fandom for a while.

44. Metalest way a demigod has killed something?

C’mon you cannot say Metal and don’t think of Nico turning someone into a ghost.

48. Least favorite part of BOO?

The travel the people in the Argo II did, like I remember wanting to go to the Reyna and Nico’s part back already.

what were the mothers aside from being mothers? may castellan was distressed, sally jackson made sacrifices, marie levesque was greedy, emily zhang was a fighter, esperanza valdez was a mechanic. they get an occupation - if that. everything else happens to them because of their child. sally was the most fleshed out and although we love her for it, her life revolves around her son.

PIPER WAS SEXUALISED WHEN SHE WAS CLAIMED BECAUSE SHE WAS FROM THE PRETTY CABIN EVEN THOUGH HER ENTIRE ARC IS THAT SHES NOT LIKE THE REST OF THEM AND BEAUTY IS FROM WITHIN AND NOT BASED UPON APPEARANCE WHAT

athena was villainised for making medusa a monster and rick romanticised poseidon and medusa’s relationship instead of telling it how it was - poseidon r*ped medusa in athena’s temple and athena made medusa a symbol of safety and a protector of women with the ability to frighten and deter men (why else would her image be on aegis!)

all girls without a love interest joined the hunters! i say girls because for the most part they are children! i’m all for empowering girls and having the hunters there is a good symbol of that but why isn’t it enough to be single? of course, they don’t need a partner at all but they certainly don’t need one before they even reach adulthood

hera being a catty wife isnt exactly a hot take and features in the mythology but once again a goddess is villainised for things in a way none of the gods are

with the exception of jason, the boys in the seven all had loving and healthy relationships with their mortal parent whereas the girls were distant and ‘unloved’, therefore learning to be more independent and to grow up faster. it’s likely just coincidence but i can’t think of a major female character that displays a healthy relationship with their mortal parent

empousa! demon cheerleaders!

calypso being literally helpless until a guy comes to her island to save her! her cursing annabeth - a 14 year old girl she had never met - for percy leaving her and the gods putting her in the situation to begin with

luke literally having a crush on a child!! annabeth was seven years younger than him and silena is a similar age. he manipulated children because they had a crush on him. he asked if annabeth ever ‘liked’ him with his dying breath and no one besides percy thinks anything of it??? percy only gets annoyed because he’s jealous and protecting annabeth from a villain though, not because luke is a literal pedophile

the whole rachel / annabeth thing being entirely about percy. yes, they’re the representation of percys decision between his preference of his mortal life or his demigod life but that can’t be the only reason they disliked each other please there’s so much more. neither of them were close with their parents but rachel was never replaced like annabeth feels like she was by the twins. annabeth has worked so hard to get a quest and to prove herself and rachel can show up and lead them through the maze without years of training? please believe it’s not all about percy - percy’s pov doesn’t even realise it’s about him but it doesn’t justify the other reasons enough

bianca being blamed for abandoning nico the first chance she got when no twelve year old should ever be held responsible for their siblings. maybe she was hasty, sure, but she’d been playing mother to him for how long in the lotus casino? and now she can adventure and doesn’t have to worry about him? he’s safe at camp? why is a child blamed for wanting to be free of responsibities

this is just what i thought of this morning. there’s more. there’s so many more.

I Read The Lightning Theif Rewrite Script So You Dont Have To

So @dragonsarecats sent me this.

This being Chris Colombus’ rewrite of Chris Titley’s Lightning Thief movie from 2008.

And wow, if you thought the movie was bad before, you’re in for a surprise.

So if you wanna read all 121 pages yourself feel free, or read on and I’ll highlight everything by way of explaining all the issues with screenshots. And the very few good things at the end.

So, in no real order here is,

My 13 Issues!

1) Grover

My poor poor goat boy... The best way to describe his character is as follows: “The Stereotypical Horny Teenage Boy”. And legit that’s all to him.

2) Percy

So Percy... it’s honestly hard to spell out exactly what’s wrong with him. But things are, everything is. He doesn’t have a character. He’s just kinda the reason things work?

But he does piss off a bully? So that’s something? I guess???

3) Yancy Academy/The Start

I’m not gonna get into the fact that Percy is 17 all that’s wrong with that. But what’s wrong with the start of the story is two main things: The Minotaur and Drew.

So in this Drew is basically a mix of Nancy and Clarisse. As he’s the one Percy sprays with water in the bathroom, but that happens before Percy gets to camp. For reasons.

As for the Minotaur he comes twice, first to replace Mrs. Dodds and then to attack at the camp border. So during the first attack Percy slashes it and it ran off. Then when it’s back Percy kills it and takes off it’s horn- after Bruner established that it can only be killed by taking off a horn??? Said horn is also traded to Zeus for Grover’s life later?? Why is that a good trade???

4) Annabeth and The Love Story

Annabeth is there purely to be a love interest

So this thing leans heavily into the stereotypes of the demigods traits and yet I don’t think Annabeth does a single smart thing

She’s such a girl

That may sound like a weird complaint but like read this

So shortly after this Percy and her kiss and basically it s the most most cliche of cliche

And yeah that’s all there is to her

Well at the end she feels the need to tell Athena and Poseidon that she’s dating Percy and thus the two of them should make up

5) Luke

So the first thing wrong with Luke

He and Percy has two sentences of conversation before he’s giving Percy the winged shoes and shield cuz the bolt is there in the movie

He never met Hermes

Hermes didn’t know he had a son named Luke

I think that says all it does

There’s more about him but I’ll save that for the final battle

Luke has zero one liners

I swear his lines were the best thing about the movie

6) Sally

So after the Minotaur attacks the first time Chiron sends Grover to get sally then head to camp. But like sally has no need to go with?? She’s literally going with to be captured, cuz she can’t get in camp. They are 17, so they can prob drive. She’s not needed for that???

Despite being Percy’s motivation we barely have reason to care about her despite the fact she’s the mom

When Percy gets her back and they’re about to die, Percy kisses Annabeth instead of hugging his mom

She kissed Poseidon

7) Poseidon

So my real problem with him is him and Percy’s relationship

So Percy goes from being super cold to him, to hugging him, to getting a matching tattoo within three pages

8) Ares

So first Annabeth had to convince the dude that the war between the gods woulds be a good thing and to let them go

He’s very particular and stupid about cheeseburgers

So besides the fact that you can’t tell a burger is raw based on lifting the bun, after this the manager comes out tells Ares off for being rude to the waitress. Ares calmly apologizes and then punches the dude

Cops then show up and start shooting

The kids and ares get in a humvee and the cops are chasing them until ares hits a button and goes into stealth mode

So yeah

9) Hades and the Underworld

So the Underworld isn’t the underworld

It’s an AU if Los Angels, complete with burning things buildings and cars everywhere

Like hades mansion is literally crumbling to pieces and the food is rotten

Also apparently there’s no Charon it’s Virgil

Hades is the embodiment of the devil and evil. Complete with a demonic form

He wants to feed the kids TO KRONOS

Persephone is there and she’s stupid. First off she and Grover keep staring at each other “lustfully”

She also plays loyal to Hades and send everyone to die then is like whoops nope sorry bro I hate it here feel free to go home

She and Grover give each other lustful looks

Should she even be there in the summer?

Oh and lustful looks

10) Vegas

Okay so I’m not a fan of pearls as it’s a departure from the book and all but whatever I’m gonna ignore that for the sake of this.

But there’s many issues with the journey. One of which is heading to Vegas

So this person clearly doesn’t know how Nevada works cuz the whole thing is complete desert as they walk to Vegas on foot. Like according to this dude there is nothing in Nevada but Vegas

They walk until Poseidon sends them horses with baskets of fruit.

Which they then decide to ride down the Vegas Strip

So when they get to Lotus Flower Hotel, the name automatically changes to “Lotusland” for unknown reasons

And the reason Percy figures things out is cuz he bumps into a kid from the 70s and goes “Sorry, my bad.” And the kid basically replies as if Percy has said yeet. Like idk about the 70s, but I have a feeling that “my bad” isn’t that crazy of a phrase

Percy snaps Grover and Annabeth out of it by shoving them into a pool

During the fight on the way out Percy hits people with his sword and suddenly they age??? They chase them outside, and after the trio gets away they head back inside and de age again. Cuz somehow that makes sense

11) The Final Battle

The final battle, the final battle *sigh*

So like the movie the final battle takes place in NYC outside the Empire State Building. And Luke shows up to fight Percy

But the issue is how the fight works. So for some context Percy sends Sally and Annabeth up to Olympus ahead of him while he fights Luke so meanwhile Lukes on flying shoes and using the MASTERBOLT to attack Percy

But despite being close to midnight, this is fucking NYC. People can see him blasting craters into the street as he attacks Percy

So Percy fights back with three fire hydrants as if they are placed that close together. And Luke meanwhile is dodging water until he’s struck but like yo dumbass! You have fucking lightning in your hand! Strike the shit out of that water!

So then to the fight moves to the Hudson River because it’s magically right next to the building and Percy after flying with his own winged shoes, sucks Luke down in a whirlpool

Percy then goes to Olympus and somehow makes it at the same time as his mom and Annabeth?

12) The End

It ends back at Percy’s house

Grover is there

Annabeth is being this version of Annabeth

Percy shows off a tattoo that matches Poseidon’s

Gabe is yelling for beer, Sally yells at him to get it himself. He goes to the fridge and there’s Medusa’s head

The screenplay ends with gave turning to stone to the sound of crackling lightning outside

Like wtf kind of ending is that ???

The good things!

1) Annabeth is blonde!

She’s blonde. Yeah that’s all this point is

2) It’s so bad... it’s good

So many times I found myself cackling and crying laughing

I kept interrupting my friends to tell them the bullshit that was going on

Nothing made me laugh more than stealth mode
