but i my brain is ROTTING with Lyney headcanons atm because I just finished fontane archon quests and his story quest so yall are gonna have to let my numerous lyney dabbles tide you over until i upload anything else

synopsis: after the events of Lyney's story quest, his lover comforts him as he finally finds closure after Cesar's death.

After the traveler and Paimon left Lyney and Lynette at the steambird, Lynette turned to look at her brother.

"So, Cesar's honour has been restored."

Lyney smiles to himself

"That it has my dear sister. Now, I do believe a certain someone is at home with Freminet waiting for us." Lyney turns to his sister expectingly.

"Actually, I'm going to the port. I need some time to shut down. And I think you need some time too, Lyney."

Lyney sighed and smiled a melancholy smile. Of course Lynette could see through him.

"You're quite right, as always dear sister. I think I shall take your advice."

When Lyney walked through the door to his home expecting to be greeted by his brother and lover, he only found his lover in sight.

"Freminet said he wanted to go diving by the opera house tonight. Something about the tildaga being different at this time of year." (y/n) answered, almost as if hearing Lyney's confusiong.

"Ah I see. Lynette has gone to the port to unwind after the weeks events."

(Y/n) smiled knowingly at the magician.

"And I suspect you'll be needing to unwind too."

Lyney gasped in faux astonishment

"My word! I didn't know you learnt telepathy? I suppose when you spend so much time around such a great magician you do pick up a few things. Maybe you can join Lynette and I and we can form a magical trio?" Lyney emphasised his words with a florish of his hat.

(Y/n) chuckled and moved towards Lyney, grabbing his hand.

"As much as I would love to know exactly what's going on in your mind, I do not have telepathy. I do however, know you well enough to know you need a rest."

Lyney's smile faltered a smidge. Despite knowing he can be vulnerable around (Y/n), he still struggles to let his guard down. Apparently years of working for the house of the Hearth does that to someone.

While in thought, (Y/n) pulls Lyney to their room, and places him on their bed, sitting him down wordlessly, and moving to sit behind him.

Lyney registers the feeling of his hat being taken off, and fingers in his hair taking out his braid.

"Just relax. I'll take care of you. I know everything with Cesar has been tough. You've been preparing yourself for this moment for years-- but I know it's still been heavy."

(Y/n) presses a kisse to his head.

"Cesar would be proud of you. I know you feel guilty about with holding the truth from him, but I just know he'd understand. He would be so, so proud of you and Lynette."

Lyney doesn't remember when the first tear fell down his face, or when his performance clothes were removed and replaced with pjamas, or when he was tucked in against (Y/n)'s chest.

"Cesar can be truly at peace now with his name cleared. You did great Lyney."

Lyney takes a deep breathe, and burries himself in the safety of his lover's embrace.

For several months now, I have been working on creating a forum to discuss mad liberation, anti-psychiatry, + other related topics. This space is intentionally designed around values of harm reduction, total liberation, bodily autonomy, + validation of lived experiences. We talk openly about new ways of conceptualizing 'mental illness', psych abolition, + our experiences with issues like eating disorders, substance use, disability, plurality, + more.

The intention of the space is to generate new thought surrounding psychiatric abolition + mad liberation, cultivate a space for people to discuss these issues in a radical liberation context + without fear of retribution, + connect ppl from different backgrounds in order to learn from one another + provide resources/education for the curious.

I initially admitted a small number of people to test the waters, as I am currently the only person with moderation abilities. However, conversations have been very positive, even among ppl with very different theoretical backgrounds + the current community has done a great job of communicating so far. I would love to admit a handful of more people before we create a moderator team! Our ultimate goal is to become much more decentralized, with moderators trained in restorative approaches to conflict. My goal is to build a house, not rule a city.

There are no prior knowledge requirements to join. You do need to be open to having conversations with others which are rooted in psychiatric abolition, as well as understand that there is a strict ban against contacting crisis or authorities in regards to other users. There is an unfortunately lengthy + poorly formatted entry form (which I hope to fix up once we have a moderator team lol) which explains more about the sort of content which can be expected.

Additionally, small sections of the forum (primarily Theory + Education) are accessible to the public. Others are shielded for the protection of members. First Ever Ship: lol. so way back when, my sister was trying to tell me her Lame Older Sister about this cool new thing called shipping. which i was NOT getting at all. and she, i would imagine because of the relative mainstream awareness at the time and the largely practical fact that i knew what marvel movies were, decided to offer the example of 'its like What If iron man and captain america were together'

which i thought was patently silly. i dont remember why now. i think my main objection was that it did not happen, and why would people spend so much time thinking about things that did not happen.

Currently Watching: SCAVENGERS REIGN!!!! a very beautiful and thought provoking show about a group of people who get stranded on an alien planet and how they interact with that biosphere and themselves. the animation is beautiful and colorful. it is on hbo max or whereever you receive hbo products. the last episodes drop today idk if i can handle it

Currently Consuming: nothing because i just woke up. im going to haul myself out of bed for some frosted shredded miniature wheats soon i hope

i think last time was when i was rereading this is how you lose the time war. gets me every time.

nope. kids are great but i have no desire to put any into this world myself

I used to, but ive kinda progressed to making bad puns for now (shamefully have to admit that i still revert back to the bitchy sarcasm of my bitchy teenage years when i fight with my mom)

Right now I'm not doing much but i love some rock climbing and would love to do pole dancing. I did 10 years of ballet class which i sucked at but at least im still quite flexible so it's nice for climbing, and i have like a tutor certificate for volleyball

Haircut and voice/other sound volume (do they walk quietly, put things down noisily etc etc)

8. Scary movies or happy endings?

Not scary movies necessarily but i like a good ambiguous ending.

I can pull off wearing some really terrible garish clothes? oh also i intimidate gross men on public transport enough that my friends feel safe around me and im rarely nervous about being on the train alone at any time

dabbling in any creative thing i can get my hands on (sculpting, etching, lino, painting/drawing both digital and traditional with paint and ink and marker any anything in between, general crafting, bookbinding, writing if the mood strikes, sewing,-) (might try glass blowing over the summer), some mechanic work (my boyfriends grandpa has this 1950s classic car we want to restore as a long term project), hiking with my friends, just generally hanging out with my friends watching movies and all that, dabbling in analog photography

Not where I live right now but our cat willie still lives at my moms place

since I am studying restoration/conservation something in that direction! we all know it's not gonna bring in big money in any position, if you're self employed or work for someone else but i think I'd like to be in a museum or big library with manuscripts. Ideally id like to win the lottery and only do restoration work if i feel like it and chill in a small house thats fully paid off but hehe. fun dream.

Dreamt my first fucking jerma dream in an exhaustion enduced mid day nap and it was scary as shit. It fucking lasted forever. I was at first just watching a jerma video, which i dont normally, and it was like a dozen guys who were dressed the same, around the same build, whose faces has been deep faked to be jerma, they were in either a huge empty house or a government building and at first it was peaceful, they were chatting and shit but then it started to get violent and immediately i found myself as one, all the other jermas were slowly changing to be other people, all dressed like it was the hunger games or smth (shoulda taken the hint) and The Real Jerma told us we were here to make a video with him and he would instruct us.was fucking creepy as shit, he sat on a couch behind a glass ordered us to fight. We would maul each other, behead each other, hammer each other until the last one standing and then he would restore everyone and move on to the next round.

After couple rounds i won for the first time and i was  sent to sit on the thin edge seat around a boat to watch giant killer whales jump up to the surface and dive back in. i still remember it so vividly, it was so scary and so clear, the deep blue water, the whales rising out of water like giant buildings emerging out of the ocean, leaving us in shade. The couple next to me talked about how they wished they had their phones to film this, and i just shouted back theyd miss the moment, and probably fall off our thin seats, if they did that.the next whale jumped up closest at us, as it dived back in i was struggling to hold the tiny seat and find my balance but then i found myself back in the arena.

Now with jerma there was a middle aged black lady with short hair sitting, wearing that vibrant dark blue. I stared at her. By now i was getting to know some of the other people, people i killed and have been killed by, people i found myself in brief alliances in the heat of the moment. And as rounds passed, she started aging rapidly. In just a couple rounds she got to her 60s, her hair whitened, as luck would have it i was the winner of the last round so i was sent to salute her, as we have been doing since she started watching. Jerma wasnt there so i rapidly whispered to her my questions, what was he doing to her that made her age like this, what was he doing with us at this point, what was going on and she didnt even seem to hear them. And in that moment it felt like maybe they were competing with jerma. By betting on us. So i asked her whose side i was on. She looked alarmed and said i wasnt allowed to ask that question. Then i said

"i dont care then, ill be fighting for your side, id never win for jerma. "

And i went back down, this round seemed so much smoother all the competitors id started to know got in a quiet allyship, i had no idea who needed to win or lose help her so we decided to kill everyone who consistently won and gave someone their first victory to shake things up. The watching lady got older. I was worried about her dying so i got the next win to go see her. When i went to kneel in front of her Jerma called in another person, a guy in all red, it was obvious he was gonna be watching, or betting against jerma next so she whispered quickly to not kneel but hug her so that the new, red dressed guy wouldnt touch her. I rushed to hug her and heard the guy snort and say “i wouldnt touch you if they paid me” i let her go, couldnt ask her anything because of the guy sitting next to us.

I went back down and decided to help out all my opponents, got myself a first aid kit and went around asking people if they were injured, ones i killed countless times, and helping them if they were, jerma wasnt restoring us all perfectly.

I told every person i loved them and woke up before next round. I got up to write this to my notes, openned google docs, knew i didnt have a DREAMS file, created it, started with the date and time, it was 03.55 pm, when i started to write for real i woke up, at 03:53 pm. I opened my google docs and created a DREAMS file.

What actually happened Thursday Night…

This is a repost from a long time ago I accidentally deleted the original story from when it happened but Tumblr can't restore it so I am reposting for archive reason. This is from 2018

/// Thursday night my wife goes, “you wanna go dumpster diving?” and I of course agreed… but the place near where we were gonna dive was really busy because the nearby store is being remodeled.  We don’t have our IDs by the way, and we realized that could lead to trouble.  When we get close to the dumpster there is this strange dude on a BMX bike with a bunch of bags.  We go in, playing Pokemon Go as if that’s what we were there to do.  We had to duck behind cars and shit to not be seen like we were in an action movie or some crap, to get to the actual dumpster, but we succeeded.  Wife and I talk because it’s really likely we will be seen, but we already walked like a mile to the location and she wanted to do it still, so I decided to be look out.  I go to a high spot to observe the employees’ activities at the store near our dumpster location, and I take note they are bringing their dumpster indoors.  I text my wife about it letting her know what I saw, and say, “I think they saw you,” and she just books it out of the dumpster like a gazelle.  I had no idea she could run like that.

We recon and take a walk as if we will head home, peeking through a few other dumpsters and she gives me the details about the one she was in– and it seemed like it had potential.  We talk about what I saw, and decide maybe I was being paranoid, maybe I jumped the gun, so we head back.  We stay close to the trees, not wanting to be seen.  The bag we brought for the dive is pretty eye catching and reflective.  I go back to the hill and my wife goes back into the dumpster.  Not a minute after she’s back in do I see a police car pull through the parking lot.  I text my wife, and she writes back that she saw it too.  As soon as it leaves she comes out of the dumpster and she takes off again, like a bat out of hell, this time into the forest.  I stealthily, staying in the shadows of the trees rejoin her, but after seeing a police and us not having our IDs decide we should stay away from the way we came in.  We go through a short line of trees and find ourselves in a very desolate suburban neighborhood.  There is barely any light, no sound, it’s practically surreal– and yet the houses themselves seemed very nice, more upscale.  I am not sure where we are, because I had never gone this way, but we walk along until we come by a nature trail.

My wife says to me that she recognized the trail, and that it let out somewhere we both were familiar with, near the mall, so we decide to walk it– but again it is pitch black out, and the fact I keep trying to use my phone to figure out where we are is making me more blind to the dark.  I turn on the flashlight on my phone, and my wife does too.  We soon realize we have to watch our step.  There is a toad about every few feet we walk– after the first two toads we spot, we see a little green frog.  We decide to catch it and bring it home, maybe release it around where we live… and then I decide to call my roommate, who loves animals and I tell her about where we are and what all just happened.  I ask her how many toads she wants us to catch her.  She says three, but hell… my wife and I are outside with no identification in the middle of a creepy forest trail with barely any light… Are we going home with just three toads and this frog?  No.  We are going to catch LOTS of toads.  We went through the whole trail, and while we did not attempt to catch every toad we saw, we wanted to have a ‘hilarious amount of toads’.

We put them all in the tote that didn’t get filled with dumpster goods due to our bad luck, and we had a big haul by the time that trail let out near the mall.  We continued to walk towards home.  As we got closer a police car passed us and we joked that they were after us, but then the cop did a U-Turn and stopped in front of us.  The cop asked if we had seen a man on a BMX bike, and we think about how we had seen a guy on a BMX bike right before we tried to dumpster dive! When we had seen the cop after returning to the dumpster they were after THAT guy, not us!  We tell the cop what we saw and that we’re headed home with our toads, and we go home.

We had at least forty toads and the one frog from what I could count. My roommate took some toads to keep as pets and we are keeping the frog.  We then took the rest of the toads and freed them near our apartment, like releasing a plague.

SO tldr; that’s how we got a tree frog named Pistachio. ///

“Thou shalt be called, Sought out.”

Isaiah 62:12

The surpassing grace of God is seen very clearly in that we were not only sought, but sought out. Men seek for a thing which is lost upon the floor of the house, but in such a case there is only seeking, not seeking out. The loss is more perplexing and the search more persevering when a thing is sought out. We were mingled with the mire: we were as when some precious piece of gold falls into the sewer, and men gather out and carefully inspect a mass of abominable filth, and continue to stir and rake, and search among the heap until the treasure is found. Or, to use another figure, we were lost in a labyrinth; we wandered hither and thither, and when mercy came after us with the gospel, it did not find us at the first coming, it had to search for us and seek us out; for we as lost sheep were so desperately lost, and had wandered into such a strange country, that it did not seem possible that even the Good Shepherd should track our devious roamings. Glory be to unconquerable grace, we were sought out! No gloom could hide us, no filthiness could conceal us, we were found and brought home. Glory be to infinite love, God the Holy Spirit restored us!

The lives of some of God’s people, if they could be written would fill us with holy astonishment. Strange and marvellous are the ways which God used in their case to find his own. Blessed be his name, he never relinquishes the search until the chosen are sought out effectually. They are not a people sought today and cast away to-morrow. Almightiness and wisdom combined will make no failures, they shall be called, “Sought out!” That any should be sought out is matchless grace, but that we should be sought out is grace beyond degree! We can find no reason for it but God’s own sovereign love, and can only lift up our heart in wonder, and praise the Lord that this night we wear the name of “Sought out.”
